If anyone else with unbiased eyes had been there, they would’ve had to stifle a laugh at Hazel’s words. 

Nico was still gaunt, with creepy eyes that looked a little too manic for comfort. His nose and mouth looked too big for his face, his features were still in that flux of puberty where everything was trying to settle down between the cherub like face of his childhood and the harsher, more regal face that Nico was about to grow into. But that would take a few years. Right now, as Leo would put it, Nico looked like the only other awkward normal teenager in a group of supernaturally pretty demigods (the other one being himself).
