I think about this a lot but I realized it really depends on the country you’re in and what kind of system they have for medical education

for instance in my home country there is a program that combines 2 years of general college education + 4 years of medical school. if you’re really brilliant they can offer you to do a combined PhD program with that, which adds 2 years. very few get in this program of course but there but it is available

in japan, medical school is right after high school and takes 6 years. I imagine if you have close ties with research and are very dedicated you may be able to squeeze in a PhD within 8 years as well

so theoretically you can have the MD + PhD in 8 years, but then after there’s taking training and specialization

in most countries I’ve been exposed to, specialization to cardiology or cardiothoracics takes at least 5-6 years, and it’s very rare there are run through or fast programs, because at this point this isn’t about how book smart you are — you’re there to gain experience

so maybe zayne achieving all of this by 27 is not impossible per se… it’s a bit of a stretch, yes, but if it’s given that he’s really gifted, if he graduated from high school by 13 (I mean it has happened to other people before so why not), and then he took 8 years for the MD + PhD, plus another 6 years for specialization, then it would be doable even in real life

although in one of zayne’s dates (I believe it was ‘delicacy’) it is canon that he was accelerated a lot even compared to his colleagues, so that would be the easiest explanation haha

what actually bothers me is where did he find the time to do military service?!?!

Idk they made Zayne's character so unrealistic like it's impossible to be a cardiologist by 27 even if you are so smart. It takes at least 13 years to become a cardiologist. You can't get straight A's in medical course. Even if you are really smart and has secured rank 1 it's still impossible to get straight A's in medical exam. If you get 75% then congratulations for your distinction and getting even a 80% is like a miracle. Most of the people get 55-60% in their first year. So, Zayne being a cardiologist by 27 seems really shocking to me. At least that's how it's in my country idk about y'all. 😭

Xavier fans, I get his appeal! Recently, I've been seeing more content for him outside of the game, and he is very soft, sleepy , who is also very possessive, lol. He is very cute, and he has cracked me up with some of the few 5-star memories I do have of him! Also learned recently, he is a hidden freak XD. He as so far been placed last on my LADS Men list, one because of my low content for him but two just because I liked the other men over him but he had managed to win me over so let's see where I'll place him after his birthday event is complete. Also, happy early birthday, Xavier 🎂 🥳

Sylus is the newest of the bunch, so it's understandable why there isn't much content, especially cause I'm not farming for him. I went out of my way to get all his original content, but after that, I hadn't tried to get any of his new content. But I've enjoyed what I have seen. He is a little to blase for me but I definitely enjoy the security in his money lol. Also No Defense Zone was a crazy watch XD. He reminds me of all of those rich male leads only softer. I am also highly curious about his lore especially because his myth story was in the modern day compared to the other leads

Rafayel is the one I have the most content for purely by chance. IDK how the pulls work for the limited if IT IS affected by affinity that is one very cool and two would explain why I typically now get Zayne cards first and Rafayel second. I have been exposed to most of his content besides Zayne, and as such, I know the most about him, his character, and his interactions with MC. He, at least to me, is very funny. I enjoy him being bratty and pouty, though I'm like 70% sure half of it is a front. Or it could he a Luo Binghesque character. I am slightly off put by the master aspect of their story, but overall, as long as it wasn't actual slavery , I also I have all of his free memories, so expect him to be placed decently well

I saved him for last. It it wasn't clear by 1. My username, 2. My PFP, 3. My Master List of my dedication to collecting his cards. The fact I spent probably 60$ to attempt and pull for a second Zayne to own ONE of his color changes for once. I'm a Zayne main. This section, in particular, is completely biased. Being even more real, this ranking shouldn't even include him. Because my bias behind is making him first place regardless, this is a competition between the other three men. Zayne is originally a little stand offish, but he is just socially awkward. He is very sweet and loving, and he cares about all his patients (we are just his favorite lol) he has some of the funniest side characters, and he treats us very well. Our relationship also physically hurts me because FUCK ASTRA. MY GOD that bitch as his coming as soon as I find his location. He can't even tell us he loves us 😭. The moon allegories are crazy because apparently one. It's a way to express your love apparently in China? Don't quote me on that I saw it like three times, it's like a specific phrase but it also reminds me on one the story of Chang'e and her multiple myths with her husband and the immortality pill. I personally prefer the one where she doesn't rob her husband. Like Over the Moon did. But it hits me in the feels. So much. It isn't the only time the moon is used for something the long for either. I feel like most of us didn't feel like we got that we wanted from the Dawn Breaker card, or at least I personally would have like to be less confused about the Dawnbreaker/Our Zayne situation. Maybe hopefully, they will give Dawn Breaker a myth story. But I still enjoyed a lot of aspects of it, and it goes deeper into the connection between our Zayne and Dawnbreaker

But for now I wanna see a popularity poll so

Just as I'm content and truly happy to have fidelity towards Zayne and only pull for him (I'm f2p i.e. too poor to whore), my ultimate Bias Breaker just has to drop this. I'm surprised that Forbes posted that article when the writers personal bias against Louis was so blatant. He didn't even try to hide it. I guess it's too much to ask that publications like Forbes hang on to a shred of journalistic integrity. Its all about click bait and instigating fan bases for hitsn comments and money. When will Louis catch a break? I'm so tired of him being used as a whiping boy. I don't know how he keeps going in the face of all this, I really don't.

Guiltenane is an out gay male journalist who wrote the Attitude article featuring Liam in 2015. Read the entire article to get a sense of why the official 1DHQ narrative delivered by Liam was greeted with so much vitriol.

Unfortunately, the writer’s biases regarding Louis have been cultivated for years. These are biases held by the GP and amplified since the hiatus.

However, we see that the 18-35 demographic has indeed improved by Louis’ being on the show. This is the effect of his fanbase... a fanbase that supports his music, not his appearance as a judge. Yes, the fans have turned out this time. But we aren’t watching TXF for the acts, and it is getting very stale, very fast.

I would say that the writing makes Guiltenane look like the cantankerous old man that he is, waxing poetic about... tiresome forgettables like Louis Walsh. It’s not going to make a dent with Louis’ fans. I wish people who don’t understand One Direction (and condescends to its fans) would no longer continue to write about it.

re: recent zayne revalations from snowy serenity

zayne reminds me of this cardiologist I worked with. he was older than me, very confident, pretty good looking and had very niche hobbies. I was his junior and we had a pleasant working relationship.

I was the on call in telemetry (the specialized cardiology ward), and one patient under his care was suffering from an infection. we had brought in the infectious specialist doctor and they prescribed an antibiotic and told me let’s wait and see if any bugs will grow from the blood cultures before we change it.

later that afternoon, the cardiologist comes in and asks me what the infectious specialist said, so I relay the advice that was given.

this cardiologist stares at me and says in very level voice, “no, let’s change the antibiotic, he’s really sick.”

I’m like: “are you sure?”

and he has the gall to smirk and say, “yeah, do you think the infectious doctor will get mad?”

me, in my head: YES!

me, in real life: “maybe?”

anyway he was very cute and maybe I should have fought harder to save both of us but I didn’t

the next day the infectious doctor came back and she was furious, she actually stormed out of the ward

(thankfully not at me, because dr. cardio actually wrote his name first in the sign off so I was saved)

the ending of this story is the cardiologist apologized and said Okay I Won’t Do It Again and the infectious doctor came back

anyway the point of this story is I still think zayne would order antiobiotics (specifically very high level ones like meropenem) without telling anyone because he seems like the type and now that I’m older I think I’d fight back ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ
