One thing Regulus liked more than sex was the after-moment he shared with James.

Whenever the horniness started to wear off slowly, he became more clingy to him naturally. He hated being clingy, but also he was safe with James enough to not feel like he was embarrassing himself. It was okay, hell, to James he knew it was more than okay.

He was in James’ warm arms, leaving ghost kisses on his skin, he would never admit it but it gave him butterflies.

“Jamie…” he nuzzled against his neck, kissing it softly and looked up as he put a hand under his chin, “Are you sleepy?”

James slowly touched his cheek, and then his hair. He twirled one of Regulus’ curls around his finger and kissed his other cheek next.

“A bit, love,” he said, voice deep, “Are you?”

Regulus closed his eyes and grabbed James’ hand on his hip, kissed the inside of his palm and looked up to him again.

“A bit,” he sighed and he dropped his head to the side, resting his cheek on James' racing heart.

“James,” he said again, “Tell me a story.”

“Like a bedtime story?”

Regulus nodded as he closed his eyes slowly, “I want to hear our story.”

James traced his thumb at his bottom lip gradually and Regulus kissed it without opening his eyes.

“Once upon a time, there was a prince. Waiting for his charming prince…”

Regulus slowly drifted to sleep, and never let go of James from his arms.

Okay real talk somebody's gotta make a Marauders intro post. There are way too many abbreviations that confused me so much when I joined and I want more for the next generation of newbies. We need to have a:

Summery:

Regulus hates his brother—this is fact—and as his best friend, Remus would never betray him by falling in love with aforementioned brother.

Sirius hates his entire family—this is also fact—and as his best friend, James would never betray him by falling in love with a member of it.

The problem is, none of them are even aware that it's happening.

My review:

OMG I loved this fic so so much. Everything about it. The falling in love phase was too cute for words, all the struggles were worked out so beautifully. The dynamics are just perfect and so real, and even when everything started to clear up, you have everyone time to develop deeper bonds. The last few chapters are exactly what I needed for this story to end. I adored this, you’re an amazing writer. I wish you all the luck in the world and hope you have an great day, an amazing year and a marvellous life full of love, health and happiness <3

Care - Jegulus

Regulus watched numbly as James kissed Lily. He tried not to react, tried not to show how it hurt. James and Regulus had ended months ago, not that anyone even knew about thme, except for Pandora.

But it still hurt, no matter how much Regulus willed it not to. Once, James had told him that they were inevitable, that Regulus was the only one for him.

But Regulus understood now. The only inevitable thing aobut them was Regulus’ heartbreak. Regulus knew he’d never move on from James, never wanted to.

There was no point. No point in trying to find someone new when he’d only be thinking of his sun anyway. There was no point when Regulus knew he would die soon, but with a destroyed horcrux, if it all went to plan.

So he shouldn’t have cared that James had someone else now, if he would be dead within a few months anyway. But he did. He did care, anyway, because he’d always care about James, even when the other boy no longer cared about him.

It was his own damn fault anyway. It was Regulus who had uttered obliviate to the boy in his sleep. It was Regulus’ fault that James didn’t even remember him.

So why did it hurt so much?
