At long last… the story of how Mumbo Deviates! I realize this is the most anticlimactic response i could've given to the crazy number of asks I’ve gotten wondering how Mumbo deviates and asking how angsty or heartbreaking or dramatic it is… but hear me out okay. The idea that mumbo is just doing Normal, Day-To-Day android stuff and some random mob just. spooks him so bad that he deviates on the spot and never tells a soul is not only Hilarious but it also feels Really in character DLFGKJFGJ

(And so, i stick to my guns about mumbo being spared from angst. silly goofy guy who i love so so much =w=)

what I REALLY need is a life series / hermitcraft / empires smp high school academic team au. Bigb's specialization for quick recall would be mythology and ancient Earth history. Jimmy takes trash questions (pop culture, video games, sports) but is in reality all over the spectrum (in both ways). Please believe me... the teams getting stuffed into vans and driven for three hours is the perfect setup for shenanigans. Don't tell Grian, but Jimmy's favorite part of the day is when a certain customer sweeps into their cafe. He never shows up at the same time but always in the same way: disheveled, squinting against the sunlight, redstone smudged into his clothes, heavy gloves tucked into his back pocket.

Tango stares up at the menu. Jimmy desperately tries not to seem nervous. He fails miserably, wings smacking into Grian despite his attempts to settle them against his back.

Tango steps up to the register and grins up at Jimmy, all sharp teeth and candlelight hair, and says, “Hi Rancher,”

I’m not at all familiar with drawing dragons, but the idea was planted in my head and I cannot let it go! After some trial and error this is what I’ve got! I’m very happy with how the designs turned out, and I hope to expand a bit on the idea :3 The turned into animals prompts very much helped me commit to this too <3

The "Tanguish comes from space au" that no one asked for, aka star boy Tanguish.

The plot would probably go something like Helsknight being depressed (or something this is a very rough outline) losing the positive outlook on life, sees a shooting star one night and is like "oh look a bit of whimsy on this dull spot of life. I wonder what its like to be a star" then boom Tanguish apears (he doesn't talk, idk how he communicates) and starts trying to turn his life around. While this stuff happens shady things are happening and somehow those two put a stop to it. At some point Tanguish makes the decision to stay on earth with Helsknight. Boom end of plot, cool, whatever.
