Amy I just finished Bedrock and I hope my tears serve as fuel for writing future instalments of TTSBC. I am *distraught*

But also please let the plot continue expeditiously, I'm gonna lose my mind the longer this draw out.

Idk which separation was the worst and I'll refrain from specifics for the sake of spoilers but DUDE!!! My last rambly ask was all about how much I love all the ships and one fuckin fic later and there's been casualties 😫😭

Anyways, all complaining aside masterful writing as always. I always commend an author for the ability to write emotionally moving characters with enough depth to make someone cry. You fid a marvellous job with Bedrock and I'll be waiting with baited breath for more plot🩵🩵🩵

Also I wanna see more of Cleo and Bdubs as well as Joe, and maybe Oli. I think the crumbs of plot and lore we've got for all of them are so intriguing. Accidental Mom Cleo has my heart.

Ugh, despite the tears ily and I hope the approaching summer gives you boundless hours to write.

AWWWWWH Thank you so much! I'm so glad you've enjoyed my work so much even tho it caused some tears, but that was part of the point with Bedrock sadly...we gotta hit a wall at some point in order to climb over it! (eventually) :P

I plan to have more of EVERYONE in Arc 2, some more than others of course, but I always try to keep everyone as relevant as I can, it's hard in a series with this many named characters, but everyone is still here, so I wanna do what I can!

More Cleo and Bdubs especially is on the way in the first half of Arc 2, so please look forward to it!

The Big Tired has finally hit 😵‍💫

No this doesn't mean I'm going on hiatus, because I'm not! I promise! Buuuut...between the push I had to do to finish my schoolwork, and all the (very fun!) chaos of my graduation, the big tired has struck hard. My brain needs a bit of a break from the words, so unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to participate daily in Hermit-a-Day May as consistently as I'd like too...I just wanna post about it so as not to leave y'all waiting in suspense all day every day. I still want to write some of the fics! I had ever hermit planned and I want to do all those fics, but I can't promise that on a daily basis right now without compromising the quality I like to put out...so I'm gonna be dropping out of the daily game for now. If I'm able to and get the energy, I'll post on the day for a hermit when I can for the rest of May! But don't expect it...

Also, I'm going to be closing my askbox again for a little while. I really wanted to have it open for Bedrock, which I feel like everyone can understand why now 😅 but it's got a very sizable backlog now...and I REALLY wanna get that number back down to something manageable again...so if you REALLY REALLY have a burning question for me that just can't wait, feel free to DM me, my DM's are open! But my askbox will be closed for a lil while as I work on cleaning it out and getting everything ready for a fresh start come proper summer!

in another life, scar isn't punching grian's face right now. in another life, they sit on a porch, sharing iced tea and lazy kisses. in another life, grian is a researcher, and scar is his assistant. in that life, their friends die, but they stay together till the very end.  in that life, grian is still a watcher. ironic, how everything might change, but he still is an Eye. 

in another life, grian isn't pummeling scar with blows, wondering why he doesn't fight back. praying he does. in another life,  they are heroes, sometimes working together, sometimes rivals. they still love each other, both as civillians and as heroes. in that life, grian hides himself, below that damning bedrock. 

in another life, grian isn't laying the final, damning blow to scar's face. in another life, they are younger, practicing kissing for their musical. their love is heady, breathy. their relationship is still complicated as hell. in that life, they are still lovers in their play. poetic, isn't it?

in another life, scar's life isn't leaving his body. in another life, they sit under the stars, pretending that they aren't staring at each other's face. they're blind to their own love. in another life, they're growing old together. 

in another life, grian isn't hanging in the air, jumping off the mountain. in another life, they travel the forests and woods, with fae and fantasy. grian fights with a sword, scar with his magic. in that life, scar is still a swindler of goods. in another life, he and scar travel the seven seas, looting and terrorizing an unknown archipelago.

in another life, they're happy. in another life, they don't die. in this one? they do.
