pride month is back, so this trend is back

The two of them were famous within the ball.

They'd ask for a dance, and they'd step on their toes.

One half of the pair would watch as the other slammed their heel onto their partner, breaking it.

The other would watch the former hurt people due to his own abandonment.

They went about the dance, leaving partners crying and hurt in their wake.

Eventually, they danced with each other.

It should have been perfect, the two closest at the dance finding each other.

And it was, for a while. Graceful, as they danced, the most sought over with each other.

Finally, as the music picked up, as it started to crescendo, they gazed into each other's eyes, a soft smile on their face and dipped.

It should've been perfect.

Instead, they could only stare as both of their backs erupted with blood.

They twisted their knives in their hands, the blood pooling around them.

The town watched with broken toes and bated breath as they collapsed.

And when they awoke, the other was gone.

This is some fanart for @amethystfairy1's au, "Through the Sky Blue Cracks"! Do go take the time to support the fic series (and Traveling Thieves, if that's more your style) since it's really good and she deserves the love!

I had this idea in my head for a while, so I decided to go and create this. Also, "Community Gardens" by Scary Jokes (and Louie Zing) works well for TTSBC, and is the lyrics in the piece!

While I'm not the happiest with the background, I absolutely love the blood dripping, and I hope you enjoy it enough.
