With some newfound motivation from the newest TrafficLife session, I decided to pick back up a MCYT Heroes/Villains AU I'd been working on! I don't have a name for it yet, so after I've posted a couple character refs & scenes, I'm open to suggestions!!

what I REALLY need is a life series / hermitcraft / empires smp high school academic team au. Bigb's specialization for quick recall would be mythology and ancient Earth history. Jimmy takes trash questions (pop culture, video games, sports) but is in reality all over the spectrum (in both ways). Please believe me... the teams getting stuffed into vans and driven for three hours is the perfect setup for shenanigans. We can set up other smps as schools they go up against in matches and tournament's. I NEED THIS SO BAD RRAHHHHHHH

PEARLIZZIE ROYAL AU HERE WE GO LET ME EXPLAIN :3

Basic Idea

Pearl, Grian, and her parents are forced to leave their village due to humans attacking. Pearl doesn't know the full story and her parents never tell her. She is 19 in this AU. She tries out to be in the royal guard, however, she is seen as far more skilled than everyone else. With that, the King and Queen ask her to be their daughter's private Knight.

Lizzie is the Princess of the Kingdom (still figuring out names pls help-) she rarely shows her face in public, only people within the castle walls see her. She is very much against Pearl being her Knight, and they fight a lot, but she'll come around eventually. Her friend group is mainly guards in training, her maid, Cleo, and the gardener, Gem.

Doc keeps tapping his finger. Even with their eyes completely covered, the both of them are able to have an entire silent conversation through their shared bond. “You know who he’s reminding me of?” Doc says with a smirk, after a minute. “If you say his name in front of me, Doc…” he warns. “But you thought of him as well?” “...I did.” “And?” The wolf takes a deep breath, putting his elbow on his desk, facing away from Doc. His fang catches on the corner of his mouth and he pokes at his own lip for a few seconds. “I don’t like this.” he admits, voice solemn, fidgeting with the sawdust “Any of this. Something’s gone wrong, I agree. If not with him, with the Watchers entirely.”

Hermitville au post ✨

So in the og version of course it was only hermitcraft, but i always felt like if i added other mc spaces then Scott would be an elf.

But then limited life rolled around and I kinda like the mean gills approach more I think. I originally played around a bit with the concept of a mermaid Scott and human Martyn, with them often going out at night to thr lake as Scott requires ✨ h2o ✨. Technically he can be out of water but being in water daily is a requirement to life.

I still like the idea but i think a fun (edgy and angsty) alternative idea which would lean even heavier into the mean gills aesthetic is that both Martyn and Scott are sea monsters. Through means (i still have to develop and think about), Scott started to get "sick" as a human. And as a result he is becoming more and more like an ocean monster as time passes. The only person Scott trusted with the knowledge had been Martyn, concidering magic and all that good stuff isn't a known thing amongst humans. So Martyn started spending a LOT of time around Scott, to the point where he himself managed to get the same "sickness" as Scott

As a result you got 2 human-sea creatures who are desperately trying to hide their identity while being there for eachother. With no way ro know how to stop it from spreading further on their bodies. At least not without help

(I'll Write This w'o My Usual Typing Quirk To Make It Easier To Read)

So I've posted a bit before about a Heroes/Villains MCYT AU I've been working on for a fair while now, and with some newfound motivation from Session 7 of WildLife SMP, I decided I want to revisit the project!

I've already drawn one of the Main Villains, Piranha, Here. However, before I make and showcase more stuff, I want to create a Tag for it! Something like Vigilante Sheriff AU (VSAU) or Double Hearted AU (DHVAU)

So, here's some ideas I've managed to come up with! I personally like Option 2 best,,

My reasonings for each of these ideas will be under the read-more, but I'd love to hear what y'all think!

Desperado AU (DAU)

The definition of a Desperado is "a desperate or reckless person, especially a criminal". It's attributed to individuals of the past who would act carelessly amist despair. For example; a Vampire, whom needs blood to survive, but not as 'posh' as traditionally. The Vampire might 'act out', taking whatever blood it can get through whatever means they feel like they have to, then being dubbed a 'Desperado'.

Considering Desperado is a term used for criminals and such, it'd make a lot of sense for a fair amount of the criminals/villains of the AU

Sinking Hook (SHAU)

One of the main Hero/Villain conflicts of the AU will be between Jimmy/Piranha and various heroes & vigilantes; particularly a Hero Sausage, a Vigilante fWhip, and a Vigilante Duo of Tango & Scott. The main plot is that Jimmy's powers have manifested as a small 'creature' that hangs around on his shoulder. It would appear at first that Jimmy controls the creature, but in actuality, he is naught but a puppet for it. The more this puppeted him uses his powers (Venom & Toxic Gas) the farther he slips under it's control.

Considering I've made Jimmy a Cod Hybrid for this AU, Sinking Hook is a nice nod to that and his place in the story

MCYT Heroes/Villains AU (MCYTHVAU)

This is mostly just added here because it's a generic option, kinda funny how long it is, but slightly impractical

Wraith AU (WAU)

I won't hide this, Fantasy SMP never quite left my brain. The High-Elf Sausage or The Tiger-Tabaxi Scott. However, the person who never fully left me was the Pixlriffs of that world, A Revenant. To put it simply, Pixlriffs is going to be the main villain of this AU. Known as 'The Wraith', he will have a power known as Phobokenisis ALSO KNOWN AS Phobia Manipulation; the power to put people through their worst fears, and to give and take said fears.

And, well, if he's going to be this AU's main villain, why not name the AU after him?

Cleo gets two versions bcs I am NOT used to seeing humancleo rather than zombiecleo. I based the confessionals off of random moments from various seasons 😼

Going with the "Grian is the one who designed this game as opposed to the others" headcanon, it makes you think about the superpowers he gave his friends, how they were all laughing and having fun in the beginning, and that was intentional. It goes to show that even when forced to design the death game his friends are put through (a punishment for trying to usurp the Watchers time and time again), he still cares. They all know he's the one who designed this game, and he hopes they realize the little mercies he's giving them.

He gives Cleo the power to bring people back from the dead, just so he can have a chance to see his best friend again.

He gives Pearl the power to fly, and hopes she appreciates having her wings back, if only for a short time.

Jimmy gets to go invisible because Grian knows the Watchers aren't happy with the curse being broken. He wants to protect him.

As for Martyn? Grian doesn't really know a lot about what's going on with him and the Listeners, but he might as well try to strengthen that connection in the little ways he can without arising suspicion.

He says it himself in the beginning, "let's not forget this is a PVP series," but it sounds hollow even to his own ears. It's pandering to the watching eyes, making them think the lighthearted fun is all unintentional.

He falls out of the sky with the wings he gave to Pearl, and he wonders if the Watchers are starting to catch on.
