Yeah, I don't have the heart to delete my Tumblr presence, so I guess I'll keep adding content here on certain occasions.

Not sure about longer-form content like essays. I think I'd rather keep those...somewhere else.

Oh, yeah, the drawing. Uh:

Over the summer, I was thinking about creating a new Fall piece to tie-in with the upcoming season. I wanted to draw Della in her alternate outfit again (the painting Dewey found in the garage) to go with LP's chauffeur outfit since those colors fell in line with fall very nicely. I love trying out all the pumpkin spice flavored things when Fall hits. And pairing it up with one of my favorite ships? The perfect idea! This was something I was definitely going to draw! But then a battery issue with my laptop came up and wrecked my plans...😑

I was so fixated on what I couldn't do, that it distracted me from at least getting the sketches done traditionally. Once I got ahold of another laptop to use in the meantime, I was able to settle down and get to it. The newer laptop couldn't read my Clip Studio paint CD, so I tried to use another program. Then I remembered it lacked the tools I needed. I tried another one and it kept freezing on me. After that, I gave up and just had to wait until my laptop was fixed. Once it was, I had to get another art piece out of the way. THEN I got absorbed into working on things for that "somewhere else" and started to contemplate on whether it was even worth doing now that it's December. But Fall does extend into this month...and I don't feel like holding it off until next year...might as well keep going. 🤷🏾‍♀️

(Though I did have to axe the bonus content I intended to go along with it...maybe that'll be the thing I get to next year...)

Soooo, yeah, as you can tell, this took quite some time to finish and now it's more of a farewell to fall than anything. 😂😓

I'm hoping to have something more Winter-oriented later this month. Maybe something New Year-ish in January too. 🤔

A friend of mine, while familiar with Star Trek, has never watched TOS. Their only experience with Kirk&Spock are the J. J. Abrams' movies, which they did not really enjoy, so their reaction to me being really into those two was met with puzzlement and censure. Until I showed them some out of context TOS clips, specifically including that shirtless Kirk/confused Spock scene from "The Enemy Within", at which point my friend just said "Ooooh, I get it now." Later they proceeded to tell me that I should not write Spirk fanfic as "writing canon couples is boring".
