hey so it’s march now aka the beginning of endometriosis awareness month and i feel obligated to remind you that debilitatingly painful periods are not normal. if you or someone you know is ending up sick or bedridden every month, you are not crazy and deserve medical attention from someone who will take you seriously
#prev: um in my unprofessional medical opinion. you may still want to get that checked out#while it may not be endometriosis it may be something else you do need checked out#especially if it is causing pain while you are using the bathroom - sometimes you can get ruptured cysts that way#source: me having to go to the ER for one a few months back bc I thought the pain was normal ;w;#I also had periods that flip flopped on the pain scale for a while there so!! just letting you know for safety reasons

DOGE just froze funding to vital Federal and Indigenous conservation programs devoted to supporting the very delicate and tenuous existence of the black-footed ferret.
I fell in love with these animals as a kid traveling to our National Parks. Their rarity and ferocity made me sharply aware, even as a child, of just how much of a responsibility we have toward our environment. I can't bear the thought of them being a fucking casualty of Trump and Musk.
