The Arcana Drabbles: Explanation and Masterlist

I'm going to add examples below, but drabbles can range from several sentences to several paragraphs and cover everything from humor to angst to fluff! They're written more like train-of-thought fanfic, instead of the structured bullet points I use in HCs. What really sets them apart though is that drabbles focus on one or two characters at a time and are not limited to the M6!

Drabbles can be as oddly specific as you want, to as randomized as you want. Here's some examples of what you could request, and some links of past drabbles -

Samakro types on his questis, keeping a sharp gaze on the officers under his command and Ch’eri on her chair.  When he is on the bridge nothing escapes him, he becomes an all-seeing being, monitoring his warriors and keeping tabs on everything happening. His subordinates feel him looming behind them and straighten their posture by reflex. 

The Springhawk leaves hyperspace in a resounding thud, shaking everyone present. They arrived. 

“Send me the last coordinates of the Pirates.” Samakro orders. 

He spins to go sit in the command chair and has to muster all his will to not take a step back before you. He didn't hear you approaching. You smile gently, handing him a microchip. 

“The coordinates, sir.” You say respectfully. 

Well, that was quick! 

That was instantly even. 

He takes the chip and inserts it in the port of his questis. 

“I will also need the calculations of their last 8 travels recorded, their spotted hideouts, and the audio recordings of the messages in their native language.” 

“They are all in there.” You nod. 

Oh... 

Well, it is refreshing to have officers able to think ahead. 

“I highlighted the pirates’ favorite routes and calculated some probability for their possible next spot appearance, I noticed a trend in the hours they chose to attack the Ascendancy. They seem random but there is a constant of 3 days and 5 hours between each of them, rinse and repeat 5 times then they disappear for two weeks to a month and resume.” You explain. 

Samakro looks at you, almost suspiciously. 

“And you noticed that alone?” 

“I studied the data during my break times.” 

That’s a heavy workload that you just lift from their shoulders. He and Thrawn will need to check if you are correct in your speculation but that will not take more than 45 minutes to review the data. 

“Thank you... Officer (Y/n)’(F/n)” He finally says after ogling you for several mute seconds. 

“Of course, Sir!” You stand to attention with a smile and walk away. 

He pretends to look back to his questis once again but looks at you walking away. That is not the first time you proved yourself zealous, and the Chiss expansionary defense fleet adores those types of behavior. If you are indeed right in your analysis he should keep a closer tab on you, you may become the next prized pupil of the fleet and his job is to facilitate your accession to higher ranks for the common good. 

He observes how you chuckle and give handshakes to several colleagues as you take back your place. You are visibly popular, which can also be an advantage in the future. With his gruff personality, Samakro was not really appreciated in the ranks of the Navy and counted his friends on the fingers of one hand. 

You do not seem to have that problem. 

“Skywalker Che’ri, you may return to your room and rest.” He orders, refocusing on the data. 

“O...Okay...” He hears the tired voice of the little girl. 

He sniffs, eyes on the screen when reality strikes him. 

Thalias is with Thrawn in his office! 

He spins his head just in time to see the little girl losing her balance as she heads toward the door. 

He is about to throw his questis to the other side of the bridge and lunge to catch the poor child when you pop out of nowhere and receive her little body in the security of your arms. 

“Careful there, Che’ri!” You chuckle with a bright reassuring smile, “I would hate for you to hurt yourself!” 

Samakro finishes crossing the bridge to join you both and kneels next to you. Che’ri raises her visibly tired face toward you and sighs. 

“I... I am sorry (Y/n).” she says almost in tears. 

The kid is exhausted, they had to push her limits to reach their destination. Usually, even Samakro is uneasy with the idea of overworking a child, but those pirates kidnapped several Chiss girls. 

Several potential Skywalkers... 

They NEEDED to arrive before all of them, and for that, they needed Che’ri to push past her limits. But now she is obviously distraught, and Samakro feels a pinch in his heart. 

But you simply laugh and caress her hair gently. 

“Do not be, silly. You worked really hard today! You deserve a warm dinner and a good, long night’s sleep!’ 

Samakro witnesses as you casually kiss the top of the head of the little girl. 

Where does that familiarity come from? 

But Che’ri doesn’t seem weirded out by your action and even presses her little cheek against your arm hugging her. Che’ri sighs again under the caresses on her hair, she looks ready to lose consciousness. She clearly is in no condition to walk back to her suite. 

“Skywalker Che’ri, with your consent I will carry you to your suite, all right?” He says, extending his large hand to her. 

You both turn your head to him, you with a silent approving gaze and her with drawn features and glossy eyes.  

He knows Che’ri is kind of afraid of him. He doesn't exude the calm and paternal aura Thrawn has around the girl, he is too rough around the edges to her liking. 

But she takes his hand nonetheless with a tired nod. 

“Okay...” 

You help him lift her by seizing her hips and he wraps his arms around her solidly to not let her fall. He feels her tiny arms wrap around his solid neck and her face lays on his shoulder, she hugs him like she would a plushie. You both stand back up and he heads toward the bridge door with the most precious package ever in his arms. 

“Junior Captain, I leave you the bridge for now.” He orders, crossing the bridge door. 

He doesn’t say a thing but he feels silent tears starting to wet his collar and shoulder. Poor little one... 

“Do not cry Che’ri, you did a really good job today.” Your voice rises out of nowhere. 

Samakro stops dead in his tracks, realizing you are following him. 

“Why are you here?” He demands, “I did not authorize you to leave your post.” 

You tap your chrono at your wrist with a grin. 

“My shift just ended.”  

He sniffs. 

“Then go eat and rest. I am taking care of this.” 

“Oh, so you know where her nightclothes are and where she puts her favorite plushie?” You ask with a surprised but gentle expression. 

He considers you in silence for several seconds. Did you ever give a bad look to someone once in your life he caught himself wondering. 

“Because you do, perhaps?” 

You snigger and enjoin him to follow you. 

“This way, Mid-Captain.” 

You walk beside each other, Samakro with his usual gruff demeanor and you a silent confident smile. You turn to look at him and your smile stretches more. 

“What is it, Officer (Y/n)’(F/n)?” He inquires, looking straight ahead. 

Usually, he hates being ogled like that, but this is not the effect your gaze has on him. 

Instead, he feels... Shy? Unconfident? 

Why is that? 

He is surely a little sick... 

“Nothing.” You shake your head softly, “Or rather, yes: Do you have kids Captain Samakro?” 

He feels his eyes rounding up at that question. What... What made you think it was appropriate to ask such a thing?! 

“No, I do not. I am not married.” He recovers the control of his expression. 

“Oh really? Paternity looks really good on you! You always look so... Moody but watching you taking care of Che’ri shines a new light on you.” 

He side-eyes you, looking for mockery on your face. But your red eyes shimmer with a gentle warmth and your grin is soft.  

“Although...” You take a step closer and lower your voice like you are about to share a secret, “After that scene, you may not remain unmarried for long...” 

This time he fully turns his head toward you, with an indignant expression. What got over you? 

“Do not look so shocked, Captain. What is truly shocking is that you are still single!” You raise an eyebrow with a know-it-all expression. 

“And in what way is it shocking exactly?” He demands with a haughty voice. 

“Now come on... The gruff big man with a secret heart of gold! It’s a classic.” 

“It’s a cliche!” He corrects, “And we are not in a holo.” 

“But you look like you come straight out of one!” You keep going, “You could have done modeling or acting with such a face! Oh, all the broken hearts you would have left in your trail...” 

Samakro reassures his grip on Che’ri’s body to put on a front, but inside he feels turmoil.  

Why are you complimenting him so much out of nowhere? Why would you... 

Oh for fucks sake...  

Politics. 

He sighs internally, really he can’t escape politics wherever he goes! Now it has to walk next to him in the corridors of the Springhawk... 

He is about to open his mouth to shut you down for the rest of the day when an ungodly sound resonates in the corridor. You both look at Che’ri, who seems to bury her face harder in the crook of his neck. 

“It wasn’t me...” Samakro hears her muffled little voice. 

“Oh, Che’ri...” You put your hand on her back to caress it gently, “It’s okay, dear. Wait, I think I have something in my pockets.” 

You search your pockets until you take out a cereal bar that you give to the skywalker. She eagerly takes it, opens the package, and bites into it immediately. Samakro observes the little girl’s expression relaxing as she eats the treat. 

“Good thinking Officer.” He nods to you, “You seem to have experience with children. I imagine you have one?” He throws back the question at you, see how you like it. 

“Oh no.” You chuckle, “I am unmarried too.” 

“Really?  A motherly woman like you did not find a man to wed?” He mocks playfully, raising a haughty eyebrow at you. 

But... 

For some unknown reason 

He is relieved to learn you are single. 

“Alas, I did not!” You laugh, unbothered, “All my other partners were rather immature, not husband nor father materials... Contrary to you, Captain.” 

He stops again. 

“What is that supposed to mean?” 

“Only that your time of celibacy might be more short-lived than you expect.” You grin, “People talk to me, sir. You are quite popular.” 

Great... a fat lot of good that does him! 

“I am here to serve the Ascendancy, Officer! Not to find a wife!” He clarifies harshly. 

Which prompts your grin to grow larger again. 

“This is exactly what Fleet Admiral Bak’if  said before finding a wife in his crew!”  

“I am not Fleet Admiral Ba’kif.” 

“True, but you might be our next Fleet Admiral!” You theorize, “You have all that is needed for the job: Courage, a cunning attitude, great tactical abilities, charisma-” 

“Drop the compliments.” He cuts you short, at the end of his patience, “What do you really want?” 

You consider him, mute for the first time. 

He gauges you back. If you play politics, you are way too upfront about it! Complimenting someone so much is so amateurish... 

But  

That is not what makes his blood boil he realizes. 

What makes it boil is that you may compliment him for a hidden goal and not because you truly mean it.  

He should not care. 

But the thought that all your words might be false in your head... Stabs his heart. 

He mentally shakes his head. Why does he even care what you think in the first place? 

... 

Because you are a great officer, with a lot of good qualities. One of those that are too rare. He met plenty of good officers, but rarely great ones. And seeing one playing the political game so badly, risking getting caught and destroying their own career like that is disheartening. 

Yes 

This is surely why he feels like that.. 

No possible other reason! 

You squint at him, your soft expression gone to leave the place to a more... thoughtful one. 

And to his surprise. 

You start giggling. 

You let out a breathy laugh before hiding your growing elated smile behind your hand, your red eyes shimmering like glitter and pure light. The notes of your laugh are like none other, they rise high, where the angels are. They are like a song to his ears, a delicious melody he never heard before but he feels like he has known all his life. 

Are you... Mocking him? 

Usually, he would use his Captain’s voice and shut you down harshly, disciplining you into obedience and teaching you respect for your superior.  But he feels his legs melting into jello and his heart picks up pace in some sort of panic he cannot explain. 

Why do you have such effects on him? 

“What did I say?” He finally demands, trying to sound intimidating. 

Not really succeeding. 

You take a step closer and your hand travels from his shoulder to his hand and you intertwine your fingers.  

And for some reason 

He lets you do it. 

Samakro isn’t used to small physical acts of affection. He collects partners to get his release and then they both go their merry way. He knows why he is seeking them out and they know why they accept him in their sheets, they do the deed and never speak ever again. 

It is simple and effective. 

But somehow. 

The simple act of holding your soft hand puts him in turmoil even his most kinky partners never managed to do! 

He feels his heart accelerating and his breath getting more shallow. 

This... is not an act of lust and primal carnal desire.  

But of tenderness and affection, such simple fondness and adoration.  

He should rip his hand out of your grip, he knows he should. 

But it is beyond him. 

He feels more naked than he ever has in his entire life, making his stomach twist and a strange warm sensation spread in his stomach. 

Making him feel... fluffy. 

You gently raise on your tip toe and very slowly, very gently, kiss his cheek. 

It is short. 

It is chaste. 

It is sweet. 

It is utterly devastating. 

He audibly gasp despite his best effort at the touch of your soft lips. 

Wh... Why do you make him feel like this? 

He turns his gaze to you, unsure, to discover you looking at him with pure, raw adoration in your burning gaze. 

“Let’s put Che’ri to bed, and then we will talk over a cup of caccoleaf. I will explain everything.” 

And you boop his nose with the most mischievous grin he ever saw. 

“What do you say, Mid-Captain?” You tilt your head. 

“All... All right.” He finally gulps, his throat dries like the desert. 

For some reason 

Sharing a cup of caccoleaf cup with you is the most thrilling proposition anyone ever gave him. And he had numerous proposition. 

You squeeze his hand gently in yours, your soft confident smile on your face, looking sure of yourself, you guide him yourself in the corridor. 

And for Samakro for whom getting power and obedience from his crew was his goal... 

He thinks that following someone’s else lead might not be that bad after all... 

Especially yours.

LaDS random thoughts.

I've seen players saying that they can't see Zayne as a romantic interest cause he resembles or reminds them of their dads or older brothers that are involved in the medical field... Funnily enough, these players always tend to be Rafayel girlies in most cases, and I find it funny cause in my case is kinda like this but opposite places? Rafayel sometimes reminds me to my dad!

Like not only personality wise but also, my dad used to be quite the artist when I was a child. He was a musician and also painted, I remember seeing him paiting a whole ass scene of a guy holding a dying woman in his arms in one of the walls of our rooms, kinda like a greek sculpture style. I think to see him paiting was that inspired me as a kid to learn to draw, altho I have to admit that I've been quite inconsistent about it, especially cause these were always just hobbies and not something that we decided to take professionally; my two brothers dedicated themselves more to music, while I went to the art route just to pass time.

Anyway, the thing is that I've always had this thought in mind and my mom ended up confirming it lol. My family knows I play L&DS cause I have no shame and they hear me yap about it all the time (They don't even know the name of the game or how... Spicy it gets, however), and my mom knows how much I love Zayne, so one day I showed her the three guys (it was before Sylus debut) and asked her to rate their looks from 1 - 10; I showed her Zayne and she said "I give him 100!" (cause she knew he's my favorite ❤️), then I showed her Xavier and she said "80, he kinda looks childish" (he was wearing his hoodie tho, so I suppose for her he looked too young), then I showed her Rafayel and she said without a second thought "200! He looks cool!"

And I was like... "Really? He's your favorite?" She just shrugged her shoulders and said "He's the one I like how he looks like the most"

And listen, is not like Rafayel resembles to my dad physically... Maybe there are some slight similarities, especially with the hair (and I think that's kinda important lol) but I left it like that. After some time, the devs released the lastest outfits of the three guys (The outfits used for 4 stars cards and that were recently released with Sylus debut, I don't remember their names rn, sorry lol) I showed my mom their outfits because I was drooling for Zayne and asked her which one she liked the most. She said Zayne looked nice, Xavier looked like a prince but of course, she liked Rafayel the most, and I was surprised again and asked her if she was being serious, like the previous time, she didn't comment on Xavier but dismissed Zayne cause he looked like a "Mister or Sir" I don't know if these terms fit with what she meant to say tho, cause words in our native language are different, but what she meant to say is that he looked "Too old for her taste" and the way my jaw dropped... I literally told her "You're older than me! You should probably notice him more than me!" We laughed a lot.

At the end I told her that it was curious and funny how she always chose Rafayel cause out of all the guys, he's the one with the role of the artist; my mom laughed. It was probably his vibe, idk but it's clear for me that my mom has a type and if she were to play the game, she'd definitely be a Rafayel girlie ahaha.

To finish this story, unfortunately my parents divorced years ago, you know things irl are more complicated than games and even tho my dad shares some similarities with Rafayel, they're not exactly the same, they have a lot of differences too so It's not complicated for me to see Raf as someone different and not feel weird when I get cute messages from him, however, I think after this is easy to sense how unserious my parents are, no wonder why Zayne's seriousness got me wrapped around his finger since I first interacted with him xD

btw for reference for adult flurry heart i mainly used images of her only adult appearance which was in some mobile game ?? i never played it but its real and its the only time we see her as an adult, though i dont think we get any details about her aside from how she looks. i just wanted to say that cause idk how many people know about it.

so this is an au ive been tossing around for a while, especially since it started out as a half-theory i had about g5 before it truly did set in that they were just fucking up the entire thing (no hate to g5 or anyone who likes it but im personally just. disappointed), namely when they were like 'oh yeah opaline is just some alicorn that celestia and luna knew as kids and when they didnt want to play with her she held onto that for thousands of years and became evil over it'

also apparently the reason equestria is separated is because she just. idk whispered mean things in everyones ears? idk man i dont read the mlp comics, i plan to read g4s comics but not g5s. i didnt even know g5 had comics until i looked up why the pony kinds were separate.

anyway the idea was a theory because before all that we had no idea who opaline was, why there was some random alicorn, i mean, weve seen so few throughout g4! she was so mysterious for that, and i feel like the most popular idea was that she was flurry heart, since that was one of the few alicorns we knew of, and flurry is such a blank slate, especially since we dont technically ever see her adult form (with one exception)

i still personally think they shouldve gone that route but i know now that they wouldnt have, they probably wouldnt have wanted to give one of their previous characters, especially one like flurry, any bad traits or make her a villain, even though it would be such a cool idea. not to mention, they couldve redeemed her? idk man. worse villains have been redeemed lol

on to my au though. i wanted to keep it feeling like it couldve been canon but also stretching it just a little bit to make maybe more sense and also be more my creation, yknow?

we see at the end of g4 that chrysalis is trapped in stone alongside the other two villains she was working with, but we also know that these stone prisons can still be escaped, as we saw in discords introduction. my idea is that the stone is kept locked up, but unattended to, and she escapes, though her fellow villains dont. the specific details will be saved for if i go more in depth on all of this somewhere else lol

she develops a plan, that being to disguise herself as a normal pony, and to become staff at the crystal empire castle. that disguise is gentle heart, a name she literally made up because she was mocking the 'stupid' (from her perspective) names that ponies have, and she just kept it. while she works at the castle, she gets close to a young flurry heart.

she acts very extremely sickeningly nice and sweet in this disguise, but theres an uncanniness to it, a disingenuine undertone that is only noticeable when youre looking for it, really. flurry heart comes to love and trust her as a friend, and gentle heart isnt seen as suspicious to really anyone in the castle. people still think chrysalis is trapped in stone, after all.

her next step in the plan, however, is that when no one else is around, she shapeshifts herself into cadence or shining armor, and acts like a horrible parent to flurry heart. this creates a deep disconnect for flurry, as one moment her parents are the best ever, and the next they arent. if flurry tries to bring this up to them, they have no idea what shes talking about.

flurry begins to confide in gentle heart about this, and gentle heart begins to plant the idea in flurrys head that she should run away, and that gentle could run away with her. after a while of this, flurry finally decides to do this.

they run far, far away together, flurry being a child/young teenager, and they hide where no one else really goes, far from towns and pretty much any ponies. (this location hasnt been chosen yet but its not the mooost relevant? the basic point is that theyre hidden away) and they set up a home here.

soon in, gentle heart makes a decision. she shows her true form to flurry heart, a flurry heart who was never taught about how changelings used to be before their reformation, as her parents thought it was a conversation for when she was older. they didnt want her to feel paranoid, or scared. the changelings she knows are bright, and covered in generally round shapes. theyre not like the jagged and dark chrysalis.

gentle heart tells flurry that she was cursed. that her pony form is her true form, but she was cursed by the princesses to be in this form. being in her pony form drains her of energy, her changeling form recharges that energy. really, its just her excuse to not need to be in that pony form anymore. she tells flurry that she was cursed falsely, accused of a crime she did not commit. that she was made to work at the crystal castle so an eye could be kept on her. she asks to be called chrysalis, as being called gentle heart in this form feels wrong.

chrysalis right now is the only person in the world that flurry heart trusts, so she accepts this as truth.

as flurry heart grows up, chrysalis begins to plant ideas in her head that the other ponies are awful and horrible, just like her parents seemingly were. that flurry heart is better than all of them because shes not horrible, and on top of that, shes a natural alicorn. there hasnt been a natural born alicorn in thousands of years before her. flurry heart begins to believe all of this too. she doesnt have anyone or anything else to tell or show her otherwise.

these dark beliefs warp her appearance overtime, making her go from her parents daughter, into what we know as opaline, akin to princess luna turning into nightmare moon. she becomes annoyed with, averse to her cutesy name she was given by her family, and adopts the name opaline, both because of her crystal cutie mark, and because part of her still thinks of the crystal empire as her home, though now more like its hers to own someday.

speaking of, into her adulthood, opaline and chrysalis form a plan. a plan to take over equestria. the idea of being the ruler of all of pony kind was a natural conclusion that chrysalis wanted opaline to make, and so she did. their first step was to invade the crystal castle and take it over.

chrysalis tells her that cadence was never a fighter, so she shouldnt be an issue, but shining armor would be. if both chrysalis and opaline combined their power, they would easily overpower him and anyone else daring to fight them. the thing is... this works.

for a few reasons, actually. people were shocked at the return of chrysalis, and on top of that, despite her warped appearance, opaline was recognized as flurry heart. there isnt exactly many alicorns, and especially none that look similar to her. there was a fight put up, but not at full power. no one wanted to hurt the lost princess.

she takes over the empire, trapping any who oppose her, especially her parents. she doesnt even give them the option to talk to her. she plunges the empire back in dark days, not in the way that sombra did entirely, but still. shes strict on her subjects, and begins to make them like a military, planning to use them to invade canterlot. anyone who would dare come to attack the empire would be held off.

after she knows her subjects are loyal (terrified), and properly molded into an army, she storms canterlot, chrysalis by her side. its a hard fight, but they do it. they trap the other princesses, and they take over.

opalines first rule of business is to make the crystal empire the new capital, the new seat of power. for a while, this is the most drastic thing she does, otherwise going slow with her horrid ideas and changes.

the worse comes when shes already caused distrust and discomfort among ponykind, pitting ponies against eachother. she begins to decree that ponykind must be separated by type, designating towns to each, forcing ponies apart by law. she made sure it was enforced. she didnt need ponies coming together to rise against her, so she forced them apart. the damage is done.

this of course doesnt last forever. twilight is free and gathers the elements, and they take opaline by surprise, ending her reign. they empty the empire and trap her alone in her castle. thing is, she also trapped them in a limbo-like state, along with the other princesses (and her father), as they had also tried to join the fight. and a final blow to her, chrysalis got caught in crossfire, and was seemingly killed. no one intended it, but it happened. opaline is devastated.

and now, shes stuck. trapped alone in a castle in the middle of a city. she has the whole city alone to herself, and all she has now is the items left behind by her people, and mostly books. she only ever sees them as fiction or propaganda though, refusing to take them to heart and accept them as truth. alongside reading and re-reading the books around the city, she schemes of a way out. she is not very successful in this for a long time.

the closest she gets to getting out is when she opens the barrier just long enough to see, and kidnap, a young unicorn. a one misty brightdawn. she forces misty to be her only companion in a long time, and raises her like a daughter, but not lovingly.

some stuff continues on similar to canon, like misty befriending the mane 5 and leaving opaline behind, but i wont say more because i can keep some secrets for myself :] i do have an ending to her story planned though!

Morishi introduces Faust’s character profile. The four start talking abt how if there was a person like Faust irl, they would not want to be friends w him even when he is good-looking

(38:00) There’s a new (?) segment called “Faust & Charles, What would you do?” where you (MC) are placed alone w Charles/Faust in a certain situation, and then the VAs will say the line out

The situation for Faust’s is… “you are falsely accused of stealing an art piece in a museum and are feeling down. Watching you, Faust says something to you. What does he say?” the options that the audience votes for are 1. “If you are feeling guilty for your crimes, I’ll listen to what you have to say… Haha, I’m kidding. If you continue to look so down, I’ll bully you even more” 2. “I know that you are innocent, but your struggling expression is  nice, too” 3. “It’s cheap! It’s cheap! The tuna’s cheap! Miss, if you have time to contemplate, go buy our tuna!” If the people can vote on the correct answer, the VA will say the line, but if they choose the wrong line, Horie will say the line instead (not as Comte but as a random dude)

(41:20) Option 2 was chosen, and it was not the correct, so Horie said funnily lol. Kamio says that the viewers are kinda dumb (baka)

That old goat has finally gone senile, hasn’t he?” (the way Faust calls Vlad an old goat “じじい” is way ruder than I thought he says in Eng) Charles: “Kings are a bit different than us, so I don’t know what he’s saying either.”

Faust: “By the way, Charles, I smell a hint of blood on you. Did you attack someone today?” Charles: “I didn’t attack them! I just bit them and made them feel good.” Faust: “to feed off of them as an act of service…” Charles: “To me, that’s the same thing as an act of love. When do you feed off others, Doctor?” Faust: “When I feel like it, I’ll look for an opening and bite. That’s all. i LOVE that Sally does not "silently endure" Gabe's abuse (mostly verbal, and honestly kind of comedic, which i appreciate bc the show is for kids and it opens up the idea of abuse without having to show women and children be hurt)

like. No?? She yells right back at him and kinda lays down the law??? but they also do a good job in the scene where he's picking on Percy of reminding you that this dude is not sympathetic.

Also, Sally lowk slipped a New York accent in while she was yelling at him and im about that.

"Like Jesus?" I WAS CACKLING.

Episode Two I was sick and obsessed. I really like that the show feels in line with the pacing of the books, because it always felt like everything was moving very fast plot-wise.

I'm obsessed with Clarisse. Please, PLEASE let young pretty girls of color be mean. It is my only wish in life. The YA television scene owes us for how you people treated Katara having even a single emotion (no I haven't let that go).

Clarisse really inspires fear in the show without ever feeling unnatural, and even in the first two episodes we can see her turmoil and how that will manifest throughout the series.

Annabeth with the one-word "yes. no. yes." is so adorable and I get the feeling that's going to be a reoccurring thing as we watch her grow up.

On the same note, her calling Percy sunshine, adjusting his armor, and openly admitting to stalking him. Ooh girl we're in for the long haul.

Grover is precious. Enough said.

I really, REALLY liked Charlie's portrayal of Luke. It really sold why Percy (and the readers) had COMPLETE faith in him in the book, and why we were shocked at the betrayal.

I also loved seeing Chris Rodriguez, which I was not expecting??? For me, Chris felt like he just appeared in Titans Curse so seeing him speak and feel alive was really enjoyable. I was always very anti Chris and Clarisse because it felt like they were shunting her off to a corner with a random name we'd never heard of, so giving Chris a more interesting role while still keeping him as a minor character (he has lines!!) was really fun to me. If they do decide to go the chris and clarisse route in the show (they might not, of course) i would probably be more onboard.

I'm SO glad they state, early on, as soon as possible, that Annabeth is Luke's SISTER. Trust me, I was in the discourse trenches with Lukabeth shippers, and I fought that last "i love you" tooth and nail. Honestly, based on what we've seen, the sibling thing seems reciprocal. Thank god. War is over.

My last thing is that if you guys are talking about the show, please stop calling Annabeth Leah or Leahbeth. I understand making the distinction for art or fanfic but the more yall separate her from the character in all its forms, the less it feels like you respect her. I only say this because I haven't seen it happening with Aryan or Walker really and it's kind of weirding me out.

Five Nights of Flirting is a fan made FNaF dating sim made by Zombbean back in 2018. It is also my hyperfixation. One of the dateable characters is Scott, my favorite character.

Scott Benedict is a 48 year old Vietnamese male, standing at 6'10 and 180 lbs/≈82 kg. He has PTSD and Bipolar Disorder (Bean described his Bipolar Disorder to me as Manic Depressive Disorder). Scott is known for being quiet, and generally asocial. He is seen being quite upset most of the time in his route, and he changes depending on your ending with him. He is usually very sad looking, but not in a "omg feel sorry for me" kind of way, he's nice, and tells you not to worry about him.

Scott is also related to Barbie, as we know he raised her. Scott and Viktor share a father, and Viktor was always under the assumption that his father was dead (neither know their father), but he was the result of an affair. Scott found that he was related to Viktor through 23 & Me. Due to this relation, Scott is kinda Barbies uncle?

Scott is very skinny for his height, and that's suspected to be the reason why he didn't die from his injuries when he was springlocked. If you look into how skinny he really is, it's kinda surprising. Scott IS heavy, but due to how tall he is, he HAS to weigh a lot to be healthy. He is actually almost underweight, as he's still really skinny for his height, and doesn't weigh a lot, in terms of height:weight ratio.

In ship art, Scott is only really shown in groups of with Mike, and due to this, I can suspect that Scott might only be sexually interested in Doll, and only mildly romantically attracted to the group + Doll in poly art/ending. It's also confirmed by Bean that Scott and Mike aren't really meant to be together, and the only way they could see the two together is if Mike was with Doll first.

In an ask, it was confirmed that Scott couldn't be romantical/sexual relationship with someone who couldn't mentally stimulate him, needing someone to tell him an interesting fact, teach him a new recipe, etc. (NOTE THAT PEDOPHILIA AND ABUSE ARE THINGS THAT QUALIFY FOR EVERYONE AS A 'DEAL BREAKER' IN THE ASK)

Might seem like a random question - but out of nostalgia I pirated sonic advance 3, and tried 1 and 2 also, cause never played them as a kid - but that made me think

Do most sonic "fans" actually like the "if you lose all lives you gotta replay everything from the start" - because I got to world 4 in both and then died and that made me have zero motivation to ever play them again lol (while I appreciate advance 3 for actually having an overworld and stuff, makes it feel alive, like the "downtime" to me doesnt seem like filler but serves the porpuse off cooling of between the action, rethinking your steps and just give the illusion of it being more than a few levels strung together)

I mean, you are describing a practice that all games used to have, not just Sonic games. Super Mario Wonder, a 2023 release, still has a lives system.

If you mean the game forces you to restart the entire game from level 1 if you get a game over, that means something isn't working right with your copy of the game. Your ROM isn't a clean dump, or you haven't set the emulator up right, or something.

Like I even double checked just now to make sure: I beat Route 99 Acts 1 and 2, and got a game over on Act 3. It did not undo my progress and Acts 1 and 2 remain completed.

Do you by any chance have all of this stored on your desktop? Windows can get REALLY picky about file permissions in certain locations and it might be blocking the emulator from writing the save file.

The fact of the matter is, I don't really like Sonic Advance 3.

Sonic Advance 1 is a charming take on the classic Sonic formula. It's not perfect, and once the honeymoon period of its different art style wears off, the gameplay and themes are honestly pretty generic. But it's fine. It does not offend the senses. It nails the pacing and the feel and that's good enough.

Sonic Advance 2 is a little more its own thing. It's kind of clumsy and can get really frustrating (particularly with the bosses) but it's fast as hell and paves the way for games like Sonic Rush, Sonic Unleashed, and Sonic Generations. Those games would not exist without Sonic Advance 2's baby steps, and it's one of those games that I think is really fun to master. I will play Sonic Advance 2 any day of the week (up until the boss of Ice Paradise Zone. Also don't ask me about SP rings)

The thing about Sonic Advance 1 and 2 is they are kind of reflective of the games they were released nearest to. Sonic Advance 1 was following the pacing of the original Sonic Adventure, by being more of a platformer. Sonic Advance 2 takes after Sonic Adventure 2, by being non-stop balls-to-the-wall high speed action, with a focus on flow and momentum.

Sonic Advance 3 tips its hat to Sonic Heroes, but it feels like it was cobbled together out of scraps they fished out of the garbage for Sonic Advance 1 and 2. It wants to be both slower like Sonic Advance 1 but faster like Sonic Advance 2 at the same time and it can't decide between the two.

It mainly does this with the ring system. The more rings you're holding, the more the game raises your acceleration and overall speed cap. Basically, more rings = faster.

But then Sonic Advance 3 is the absolute worst, out of the whole entire trilogy, for punishing you for going too fast. It constantly puts enemies and spikes in the meanest possible places so you're always running into them by accident. So it's a game of going faster and faster and faster right up until you get caught in a gotcha trap and then you're back to being slow as hell again. And when you're slow in Sonic Advance 3, you're SLOW. You feel so sluggish.

That's on top of what I feel like is generally ugly, sloppy level design. Like I said, levels look like leftovers they didn't think were good enough for the first game, and tile alignment errors are all over the place.

Levels themselves are endlessly criss-crossing mazes that interrupt your flow constantly for stupid button puzzles or breakable walls or whatever. An entire game made up of levels like Carnival Night Act 2 from Sonic 3. I don't mind Carnival Night Act 2 as a one off thing, but I don't need a whole game like that.

I generally try not to acknowledge Sonic Advance 3.

Me: My vision: Mob runs into a weird dummy in the junkyard that is being worshipped by small random monsters and the dummy comes to life and it's Ekubo and then he follows Mob around. One of Ekubo's moves is making a little minion attack you.

When I was growing up, specifically from around the ages of 5-9, any time I was expected to hand write anything for school, whether it be for a test, a writing prompt, or even an essay, random capital letters would pop up in my writing without my knowledge.

I would regularly hand in papers with capital B's and D's filling the spaces between lines, regardless of their relation to the Period or namesake of certain places or people.

It never happened when I was typing, but always when I wrote.

And I was a smart kid. I excelled in language arts. So my teachers could not, for the life of them, understand why I was so adamant on using capital letters.

And so she sat me down and asked me about it. In around fourth grade, she brought me back an essay I'd written on a book, and asked me what I saw that was different about it. I had no clue what she was referencing, and told her such.

Only then was I made aware of my plethora grammatical errors.

And only now, over ten years later, am I aware of why.

It was eds.

My wrists hurt. And capital letters were easier on my body. Especially when I was expected to spend 20-30 minutes straight writing.

I made multiple errors because my brain knew the easiest route to avoiding pain, but never actually let me come across that knowledge until I found myself slipping into old habits while making flash cards.

Truly, the human body is just full of oddities. And it doesn't ever end at just what you can see.

A - Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Argyle is definitely the kind of person whose love language is gift-giving. Whether that means sharing a spliff or bringing you a little rock he found during his delivery routes because it looked cool, or making you a custom 'weeder' in woodshop. This guy gives from the heart.

I would also say that he is a very affectionate person. He speaks his mind pretty openly. He's definitely the kind of guy that will pop off with random thoughts or just be staring into space and suddenly say, "you're my air, chica/o", and proceed to give you the biggest grin he can muster. When he loves, he does it with his whole heart, and both feet.

L - Little Ones (How are they around kids?)

Argyle is a guy who looks extremely chill around children but is internally freaking out. Don't get me wrong, he finds children very funny, especially when they say the most inappropriate things. However, hand off a kiddo to him under 5 and suddenly he becomes almost serious. Starts calling them "Little dude/tte", and walking as slowly as he possibly can like he's in a minefield. He's babysat plenty of little cousins before and does not want a chancla sent his way.

Argyle likes to sit down, criss-cross-applesauce with the tiniest of tykes. Let's them play in his hair, put barrettes in or glittery clips. Let the little boys use him as a giant hiding spot for hide-n-seek. Play peek-a-boo through his hair. You name it. He's also big big big on arts and crafts. Break out the markers and crayons! Argyle will make something and so will the kiddos.

T - Try (How much effort do they put in?)

This guy... he will pull out all the stops in the most Argyle ways possible to let you know that he loves having you around. He will always try to work his shifts around you as best he can, but at times when that hasn't happened, he has shown up to your place with an apology 'pie' and the biggest pair of puppy dog eyes you've ever seen.

He always lets you have the first slice (of course)! And if you smoke the devil's lettuce... he always lets you take the first puff.

The guy would roll a red carpet out for you if he had one. Don't ask... because he'd probably go find one. He seems very resourceful.

A - Aftercare (What they’re like after sex)

Argyle seems like someone who's very big on checking in with their partner afterward. He might, at least on his end, be very chatty as a way to decompress. Checking his partner over, providing massage, or more general skin to skin contact. He also seems like someone who likes to engage in eye contact.

But also... this guy is 6'4 and is completely capable of bear hugging so many people. He's just going to wrap you up and hold you close. Maybe a good time for another blunt 😅 and possibly a nap?

L - Location (Favourite places to do the do)

Favorite location is most likely the Surfer Boy Pizza van... easy breezy brochacho/a. We don't truly know much else about Argyle, however, I would say his second favorite spot would be the van 😅 but with an ocean view. The beauty of a space on wheels amiright?

If Argyle has a crash pad, that may be the third place on the list because he likely doesn't want to have to navigate parents or siblings. So, van it is!

T - Toy (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)

I think that Argyle would be more than happy to introduce and use toys during play/sex with his partner both for them and himself. He strikes me as someone who's ultimate goal is achieving mutual satisfaction, and if that could be heightened or made more pleasurable with the introduction of toys, I think Argyle would be all for it.

(Context for this page and a few others is Satan having a nightmare about Schezo and Arle marrying, and wakes up in a cold sweat. It's so goofy, and seems exactly like a Satan Nightmare, but the art goes hard.)

Heya, Gren here, and welcome to Part 3 of Waku Puyo Extras, the series where I find random videos about a route and go off from there because, even though I'm in the English Puyo Puyo Community Discord and have been lurking in the lore channel for like 3 years, I'm not verified yet because I'm scared to speak to the Ciel Bot. So if a mod or something SOMEHOW sees this...what're the odds for one, and two, idk we can talk via DM's or somethin' about lore.

(I really do want to speak there someday. Seems fun, I'll probably quietly add some details for this game onto specific characters pages.)

That aside, I'm here today to provide the community with more text and stuff to read.

Today's post will cover the following scraps I found while looking for stuff:

A video where Serilly appears again. Once again, Schezo and Serilly speak to each other, small but interesting.

A video that has a Rulue encounter and...that's about it. I'm really looking for scraps. Today doesn't have a whole lot.

Talk about the Manga for a bit. I plan to do this for most of the Extra Episodes, since it seems fun to do. Gonna specifically talk about Schezo and Serilly because...you know with everything going on, I think it's a nice start.

However, the scraps will become actual meals sooner or later because of two simple reasons. The first is that there's a whole video I'll translate that...has ALL 3 CHARACTERS...trading with Witch, starting next week, and that'll be Waku Puyo Extras Episode 4.

Witch still is my 3rd favorite character though for the lunacy I've dealt with from her. Joking aside:

About 2 weeks from now, I'll be trying my best to translate Arle's Route for this silly game.

That's right, I'm gonna do another Route that totally didn't take me 6 months to finish the main storyline. Waku Puyo Extras will still be real, trust me, but they'll be like filler episodes like in Dragon Ball, bits I release if the current video I'm translating is taking too long and/or if I just randomly feel like it. I will still also be doing minor Schezo Route stuff as well, and still take requests for all routes, so as usual, if you got a goofy screenshot to send me, DM me.

Yeah, so some speech repeats itself at the end, but hey, Schezo seems to enjoy her company, a rarity nowadays. I'll go deeper when the manga portion comes up but so far, that's what you're getting.

And now, The Rulue Stuff:

This goofy video here is actually Episode 6 of the translations I've done here. I just missed a single talk coming from Schezo and Rulue. (Not even Minotauros. Guy is just nothing now.)

I'm not gonna timestamp this one because it's a SINGLE interaction at the start. I promise I'll make this up somehow.

Rulue:

Oh-ho-ho-ho, good luck on your wasted endeavors. (She says efforts here but...why not make her sound more sophisticated?)

Schezo:

That magic item will be useless for a meathead like you.

Yes, for the sake of the treasure, I cannot lose!

And...that's all for the translations. Not much, but I'll compensate with the manga.

For those who are unaware, Waku Puyo has a manga that wildly differs from the story of the game. Lot of characters got redesigns, most notably Witch, Incubus and Honey Bee have a MUCH bigger role, Lagnus is real, and tags along with Arle, (I'll talk about that next Extras Episode.) and even some new faces.

Since the 10 image limit is goofy, I'm gonna limit myself to specific things about the Manga. Plan is:

Talk about Schezo and Serilly because there seems to be a lot with them going on in Waku Puyo as a whole. I'll also mention Honey Bee too.

Lagnus tagging along with Arle, along with a couple of goofy pages I found.

Maybe Rulue's side of stuff...? This one I'm iffy on right now so currently it's in the air.

Since I'm unfortunately incredibly committed to my work, I decided to translate the Serilly section of Volume 2 and 3 of the Waku Puyo Manga. (For the most part...)

Here's how it goes.

It actually starts with Serilly hearing noises from the lower floors and becomes nervous at that fact, hoping her only friend, Satan, will come to help her. Schezo and Honey Bee (his ally who has the hots for him,) find her and realize that during the fight with Suketoudara, he said that she isn't exactly a fighter, and they should try to reason with her.

Due to the 10 image limit, I'm skipping a good amount of pages and really showing off highlights. However, I'll explain the thing entirely. Here is the Google Drive with the Manga, courteously given by Puyo Preservation.

Schezo then tries to chase her, scaring her, and he grabs her arm, which leads to this page.

Honey Bee is pissed at the fact that they're holding hands and all that, meanwhile Schezo and Serilly are about as shocked. Serilly begins to actually sob, asking them to not bully her, while Schezo asks to give him the orb, and if she does, she won't get hurt. However, he's swinging his sword, which causes Serilly to get more nervous, leading to Schezo giving Bee his sword to not scare her off.

Surprisingly...it works. Serilly isn't as afraid as she was before, and Schezo asks if she know where the orb is, to which Serilly stutters a bit. For no reason, Honey Bee tries to threaten her, leading to Schezo hitting Bee away.

Serilly says they can't have the orb because her "friend," Satan, told her to guard it. Schezo gets mad at that, saying that a friend should be there for you, not be barking orders, and Bee herself adds onto that, saying that if he was her friend, why did he lock her in a room?

Unfortunately, Serilly says that she doesn't mind being locked here forever, as if she leaves, Satan will hate her, and she'll lose her only friend. She explains that she's never had a friend and was bullied all her life, so she doesn't want to risk it.

Finally, Schezo has enough and says that she Satan isn't her friend, and that he manipulated her, leading to a similar case of what happening during the game...Schezo giving therapy.

Honey Bee insults Serilly AGAIN for her actions, and Serilly sobs while saying she's sorry for everything, leaving Schezo speechless after smaking Bee away. (Unfortunately, 10 image limit. Won't be seen.)

However, the 3rd picture below is when Schezo tells her to stop crying and that he'll...be her friend, if only she gives up her unhappiness, which she agrees to.

The events are similar to the Game, even the part where Schezo thinks that he feels like he's preaching, and doesn't care if she's happy or not.

As Honey Bee basically insults her more, Suketoudara appears absolutely livid at what Schezo is doing to Serilly, and...basically tries to drown him. However, Serilly doesn't want to lose her new friend, so she rescues him, leaving Bee and Suketoudara shocked, even though Schezo had to save her too.

Leading to this.

Schezo knocks out Suke for a bit, and he and Serilly look at each other, before looking away, blushing, leading Bee to get upset with both of them, saying they probably flirted in the water.

Even though Bee is pissed at how Schezo is carrying Serilly, they're both ok, but Schezo sustained a injury to his forehead, which leads to Bee comically trying to wrap band-aids around him.

Suke wakes up, saying that was the first time he ever saw Serilly help someone like that, which even she's shocked by. Bee though, says that it's natural to help someone you care for. Serilly goes up to Schezo, and gives him the key to the orbs. After that, Schezo tells Suke to bring Serilly away from the place, which angers him, but agrees to, before Schezo and Bee walk away.

However, Serilly yells at them to stop, before asking Schezo if he'll meet with her again.

Shown below is Schezo saying yes, if he ever feels like it, much to Bee's chargin, before they set for the door...which has Incubus in it.

While it's just a section, it's a really, REALLY good section, and I feel like a writer/developer really wanted Schezo/Serilly to be real so they went all out here. And props to them, they did it well, and made some cool scenes.

Liliyan Danaus Info Dump Don't Mind Me (2/2) ;0

Making paintings is her favorite art form.

In different routes Liliyan would make a painting based off of the boy she ends up with, a kind of love language of hers. What makes it different from the other works she's done? These aren't just ordinary paintings, they are a collage of the feelings she wants to reciprocate to the person and a manifestation of all the memories she cherished. She'd overexert to capture those emotions. Rather than use art for the fame and all that she wants it to reach people and evoke emotion. Especially to the loved ones she holds dearly, she wants a piece of her heart to stay with them. (she's cheesy ik)

Cove's would be ocean themed of course with soft seafoam and blues like their home. It would also be inspired by the dolphin wind chimes she got him and it would have this melting effect while there are also some things that hint at their childhood growing up together. To top it all off she'd let him paint an empty space on the canvas if he wanted to, kind of like a way to say "you'd always be a part of my world" or smth like that. Cove would absolutely bawl his eyes out because out of everybody apart from her family would know how much art meant to her.

Derek oh sweet Derek would have a painting that themes around trophies and rewards cuz he deserves it so much. Like Cove's there are some references to the times they spent together. It would have some gold but I also think of adding some warm and comforting colors to remind Derek that he doesn't have to try so hard with her and that he's enough. Oh yeah she'd definitely practice face paint for him and his bros.

Liliyan was hesitant to even make Baxter one when he was only looking for a fling for the summer and really she knew nothing about him which makes it really hard. And Liliyan takes relationships seriously (platonic or not). Slowly but surely she'd think of a way to make a colorful painting out of this monochrome muse. Just learning about Baxter and seeing the layers of her initial thoughts on him unfold to something entirely different brought a new perspective on how she makes these kinds of paintings. After he left, the painting was left as an unfinished pencil drawn sketch and she couldn't even give it to him.

She loves hugs since it was the easiest way for her to show gratitude and appreciation to others when she was struggling to communicate as a little kid. The gesture then became a natural instinct of hers.

Favorite drink is root beer.

She is ambidextrous and gets double wrist paint from hours of drawing and painting oof.

Loves listening to 80s music

Has a biological aunt who took care of her temporarily when she was an infant until she had Pam and Noelani take custody over her. Her reason for this is because she was only 18 at the time with no parents and that she was a college student who could barely make any income. So she made the tough choice to hand Liliyan over to a more stable family. They reunite at some point and still keep in touch with a good relationship.

The walls in her room are literally her canvas, like she would paint flowers, animals, and landscapes Rapunzel style. Elizabeth's old room is no exception.

Bara Wasp (Bara short for Balete Rosa, balete is a tree native to the Philippines which is where they're from and rosa for rose. Together it makes it Bara which in tagalog means obstructing or blocking) 'baradong ilong' pls don't translate

Back when i first created my AHIT OC kranch i decided to draw a fusion between her and snatcher since a big part of kranch's story is that she has a massive crush on him and constantly annoys the shit outta him. (I GO ON A RANDOM TANGENT UNDER THE CUT)

Oh yea and btw if you're new to my blog, PLEASE be careful when looking through kranch's tag as her usual design has a lot of bright colors and flashing patterns

Ngl it feels kinda weird for me to see a lot of kranch's older AHIT-themed art because i don't really associate them with the game that much anymore, i mean....it lives in the game's universe, sure but in my head she's just....GENERALLY a dimensional traveller who just so happens to live in the AHIT universe and i like imagining her more in dimensions aside from that one! I don't want to just RETCON them into being their own thing though since the thought of kranch NOT being queen vanessa's goofy weeaboo ghost girlfriend who goes to dennys with the express owls on the weekends kinda feels wrong to me.

The whole story i wrote like, 4 years ago (jesus, it's really been that long? God i feel old) revolving around kranch's long furby companions, bertram and lizzie, trying desperately to tell it that snatcher doesn't like it and doesn't deserve it, only for the death wish route to come along and have snatcher manipulate kranch to get her to kill hat kid, with bertram and lizzie trying to get kranch to realize that she's in a toxic relationship....that all feels important to kranch's character and to just retcon that ALL and just say "yeah they just travel dimensions and have a good time lol", basically erasing kranch's character development and nuance doesn't feel right.

Idk...it could just be because i'm not into a hat in time AS MUCH as i used to be...but still, it's kinda confusing ngl
