Just reread your Omegaverse fic (10/10 btw) and was wondering if you had any ideas for how Omegaverse would go down in the other IF stories. Specifically Pride if and Genderbend IF (forgot it's name)

tysm for not only reading my omegaverse fic but enjoying it enough to reread it ! :D im proud of it in its own right, i enjoyed exploring omegaverse for the first time in that fic !! id absolutely be down to explore more rezero omegaverse again <3

so yes i would say i have more ideas, though it all has to do with greed if. i actually have a specific greed if fic idea that id love to get to one day - ill get into that later in this post but first!

pride if and genderbend (mimigau iirc?) if - i dont have super specific fic ideas for them or other ifs atm. id love to write more pride if / genderbend eventually but id have to find more of a plot first! but i have like, assorted ideas about how id interpret things.

my general fem subaru take can be found in this fic i wrote a while back, which kind of explored a good chunk of the deeper thoughts i have on her so i wouldnt want to retread too much of that in a new fic. but if i was doing omegaverse with it i would definitely want to explore the various identity struggles / in universe struggles that could come with intersections of both regular sex/gender (female / male, woman / man and everything that falls outside of that, like intersex people) and you know. omegaverse gender - alpha, omega, beta. because i do think subaru is perceived slightly differently as a female omega vs a male omega.

my first omegaverse fic "the open heart" borrows from everydaynyaco's worldbuilding which also has a couple specific details regarding male omegas so this would also add to it. i would want to explore that in depth if i were doing this with mimigau yeah!! ive always wanted to do a fem otto if fic one day as well so maybe it could be combined here. eventually. but in general id probably spin it so like characters like fem subaru feel more need to pretend - maybe fem subaru finds out about the whole omegaverse thing in this new world and tries (and fails) to pretend to be an alpha to compensate while someone like fem otto would feel even more compelled, because she is both a woman and an alpha, to pretend to be a beta (or perhaps even an omega, depending on the occasion). otto is already a character who feels the need to be submissive, who on some level does thrive being submissive and sometimes absolutely loathes it (see: debt slave otto timelines), and i think the nail in the coffin of both being a woman and being an alpha probably could feel a bit crazy on the psyche. similar reasons to how i interpret fem subarus whole issues with her gender identity that are different but adjacent to canon subarus Thing with masculinity.

so maybe a mimigau fic about all of this sort of stuff? like idk, maybe fembarus pretending to be an alpha and femottos pretending to be a beta and going "....thats not how you do it. let me show you". i also personally see characters like julius as a beta (because he cant reach reinhard's level...) and joshua as an alpha (because he shouldve been the juukulius house heir but he Isnt a "good" one...) so. lots of different stuff could be pulled into this i think!

for pride if i have less ideas about, but i do see both emilia and reinhard as alphas and i would play with that, especially with how pridebaru has very different dynamics with both of them. pridebaru has a distinct thing with the way he refuses vulnerability as well, along with his own bouts of obsession, so id lean hard into that. maybe he had to have a heat treated by elsa in one loop but he rewinds it back so he goes through it alone. maybe he tries to bitch reinhard (if you dont know what bitching is - basically turning an alpha or beta into an omega with enough domination) to fully win over him. maybe pridebaru uses his omega self to help manipulate ferris into being comfortable with him. etc. that sort of thing. like pridebaru not liking that hes an omega but basically weaponizing it whenever he can (and at least it means being a unique male omega for emilias eyes only when they finally reunite again....).

and alright!! onto my highly specific greed if fic idea that ive had noted down for a while!! itd be a mirror to my first omegaverse fic but instead otto, whos managed to keep being an alpha secret across timelines bc greedbaru previously did not give much of a fuck about otto before otto tried to leave, gets into a rut. the timing is bad for him because this is right before he leaves. this then jumpstarts a series of looping where greedbaru tries to perfectly help otto through his terrible terrible rut like a nice good omega.

unfortunately the consent here is. even more dubious compared to my last fic, greedbaru is very disturbing to watch, and otto naturally is torn emotionally as a result and also is prevented from leaving. i think with this fic.... im not sure which pov id want it to be bc i loveeee the merit of exploring greedbaru being weird and fucked up from his pov but also seeing greedbaru from an outside pov is always extremely disturbing and otto is the right kind of desperate but observant to pick up all the nasty details... but yeah!! ive lightly explored greedbaru using looping in. interesting, intimate situations. before but if i were to write this out itd be far more than just a little bit of kissing you know. like otto according to the lore im going with is an alpha whos been suppressing himself for years and is probably having a stress rut so its like. that is days worth of insane commitment and its a good way to make sure otto doesnt leave. right?

and also i think potentially i could explore bitching with this one too which would mean otto goes from an alpha to an omega... you know. so he cant throw around greedbarus heart anymore and cause such a stir by leaving!! a win win solution all around. totally. though of course the other big question with this fic is if greedbaru can actually Get otto to stay....

(also additionally theres the explorations of: how does echidna fit into omegaverse, alpha greedmilia being absolutely unhinged, character study things about greedbaru dehumanizing himself and everyone around him, all that. fun stuff!!)

(edit: ....i do think echidna has helped subaru through his first heats and helped. train. subaru for omegaverse related things.)

but anyway yeah thats all my ideas for now :) im sure you could do weird stuff with smth like gluttony if too but yeah!! hope you enjoyed reading this at least and ty for the ask :3

Bro Otto lost his memories, do you think he'll ever get them back? Regardless of that I have no idea what gonna happen with Otto now. It's so unnerving, I hope he doesn't die. Hope the rest of the camp supports him through it.

so aw yeah i hope he doesnt die too and that hes supported <3 which im sure he'll be supported the best the camp can, though definitely this is such a unique situation for otto to be in. tappeis pacing has been extremely fast lately, especially for arc 9, so i Hope that this is a situation that lasts for a little while because this is a huge low point for otto that i want to see explored a bit!

i do think though that otto will get his memories back eventually. both bc his third trial line implies he gets them back (since he mentions that cave moment in arc 3 in it) and also bc i think that there are means for otto to get his memories back + to wrap up ottos character development satisfyingly he Has to get them back. like i think since rems memories have returned and all that otto absolutely can come back, the emilia camp just has to get roy to cough them back up. plus with the implications of otto going all in on his "slow down al (and eventually stop him)" plan and Knowing he'd be defeated (and purposefully bringing in rem as his backup plan) - im very interested to see if otto has some other specific plans from here.

knowing otto, i think that hes gotta have at least a bit more plans than just "rem if i get attacked by al and his team, you have to go in to attack". and he did Know that gluttony is on this battlefield, he knows that he was running into danger by going off on his own (which is yes, because he has a guilt-driven self-destructive streak the moment he hyperfixates on a big important goal, but i gotta wonder if he was counting on al and the gang to eventually find his location and once otto is used as "bait" this unlocks another step of his list of plans).

and in terms of character development - urggh.... my otto/suba loving heart has already started thinking of fics / fanart exploring this angst..... again, i hope this lasts for at least a bit of time. because i think this is such a heavy blow not only bc otto is The internal affairs minister but bc hes connected on some level to almost everyone in the emilia camp. hes their friend!! and naturally frufoo is here too when shes the one person whos been there since otto was a kid. its heartbreaking for them to lose otto like this and its also horrifying for future amnesiotto who 1. potentially will lose complete control of his divine protection which can either be deadly or drive him insane and 2. not only that but hes also waking up in the middle of a battlefield surrounded by strangers???? this is absolutely terrifying on a kind of similar level to amnesia subaru waking up in that tower !!!!! urggh.. i cant wait for it....

and naturally once again. otto most definitely knew thered be consequences if he put himself out as an active player on the battlefield this time. but he does it because he'd rather have that than have his family be hurt while he stands back and does nothing :(( his growing guilt over it culminating in this breaks my heart :((( otto's silver cocoon prison and subaru + beatrice's dark orb jail... but also this is all extremely yummy narratively :)) so im really digging this so far ngl

also once otto gets those memories back, he's still going to have to live with everything thats happened and everything hes done in an attempt to save his family, get subaru and beatrice back, get back at his enemies, etc..... 👀 but once again i think he'll be satisfied knowing that at least it was him that took this specific burden. (im sure he will be less satisfied though if his amnesiac self does anything crazy that ruins things or if bad stuff happens to others Because otto is incapacitated which. could also be interesting)

I saw you made some animatics to songs from musicals. So I guess I was just kind of curious if you had any favorite musicals or anything like that?

i sure did!! :o my rezero animatics are some of my older work at this point i think (the last one i made mightve been like a year ago?? and also i have not been super active in the rezero fandom much this year) so i definitely appreciate that youve watched them, im a huge newcomer to animatics still! but pffftt musicals.... i have a ton of musicals ive really liked and also everyone who knows me calls me a theatre kid but i promise. i promise i have not acted in any production before and i have not taken theatre classes (sadly! i think id probably have fun with it now if i was able to pfft) but. un/fortunately i am still a performer so the theatre kidisms Are in me regardless of the fact that showtunes is always one of my most listened to genres in my spotify wrapped every year (sweats nervously).

so yes i would say im very familiar with musicals and i have listened to/watched a good amount of them (in person or through......... slime tutorials, you could say).

anyway! i was one of the people who got into musicals via hamilton back in 2016 and 1. i was so into it i was gifted the hamilton artbook that same year (yes it is a prized possession) and 2. lin manuel miranda Does put crack cocaine into all of his music if you ignore the one flop he had with scuttlebutt from the live action little mermaid. so definitely apart from me always having a soft spot for hamilton (which May not be historically accurate is a very influential musical that is basically perfect to me across the board i love it a lot) - hadestown is my top favorite!! i love both the off broadway and broadway versions of the songs, i recently watched it on broadway like a month ago. absolutely gorgeous piece of media !!! basically perfect musical. To Me. and near objectively.

(other musicals i really enjoyed have been wicked (a classic, im looking forward to the part 2 movie as well), west end's version of amelie + heathers, and various starkid productions like nerdy prudes must die, the guy who didnt like musicals, and twisted <3 i also have a certain amount of nostalgia for certain classic disney musical songs + barbie musical songs..... yeah i think thats where my musical obsession started apart from hamilton in 2016 exploding my brain)

of the more niche variety and bc i feel compelled to say this bc this is on my rezero / anime-manga-light novel nerd blog, i have checked out at least snippets of several musical adaptations of various stuff. i dont know japanese unfortunately and ive never been to japan but theres some musicals that can be accessed on youtube!! the attack on titan / my hero academic musicals were a fun time ngl but my top favorites would be the death note musical and the two recent revolutionary girl utena musicals :) theyre very good to listen to/watch even fandom blind and last i checked they can both be seen in full on youtube (god bless everyone who uploads slime tutorials with english subtitles). death note the musical also has an english album and had a brief run in london iirc like a year ago which was extremely good too - ive rewatched the death note musical and the revolutionary girl utena musicals so many times, i love them a lot!!! i hope to see a third rgu musical and hopefully another english death note musical run eventually 👀

hello!! this is the written piece i made for the recent @engraverszine , surrounding the echidna /subaru / satella dynamic with each other and rbd :) it’s my most complicated work of poetry yet and i had a blast writing it!

This poem is based on that exact excerpt from Greed If, included alongside this poem, and includes references to it (example: fangs), but I mainly focused on the idea of “parallel lines”. A “state of stalemate”. Therefore this poem is split into two pages / parts:

Page one is written in the style of a contrapuntal, a poem with multiple segments written into it so it can be read in multiple ways. Poems within a poem, essentially.

Page two (+ the footnotes included in page one) are written like actual footnotes. Each footnote connects to certain words and phrases in page one. The footnote numbers past 0 are also written to finish the first sentence they’re attached to (for example “6 Teen.” = “Sixteen”).

Overall, this entire two-page poem is written to be able to be read multiple times to gain more meaning from it. Here are all the ways I intended for this poem to be read:

Page one—

The left column by itself (“allowing you to read me / means stabbing the handkerchief into my throat…”)

The right column by itself (“licking your teacup clean / and dissecting their souls apart…”)

From left to right across both columns (“allowing you to read me / licking your teacup clean…”)

Page two—

From top to bottom by itself (before or after page one)

Simultaneous—

While reading page one, read page two’s footnotes every time a footnote appears on page one, then return to page one until finished (“…to rid away rotting memory / Breathe out.”)

This poem can probably be read in other ways if you so wish but those are all the ways I made sure to write this poem in :3 Thank you for reading!!

Hi so i found this post about a reinsuba soulmate au? but I can't remember the name of it I don't remember the person who posted it I've search everywhere for but can't find it I only remember some of it I think it was a soulmates has the others scars there was also a were reinhard is desperately searching for his soulmate because they were fine just a awhile ago and suddenly they just started getting the scars and doesn't know it's Subaru because of return by death I think The scars are in gold on the other soulmate? I think I saw your name somewhere it's fine if you don't know but if you do know please let me know.

OH i absolutely know which post youre talking about!! it was an idea on the fanfic thread a few months ago, and i do sometimes go on rezero reddit so i contributed to some of the ideas in this thread here.

yeah so for everyone else who doesn't know - the fanfic/AU idea was basically that soulmate pairs get each others scars (physical OR psychological) in gold on their skin. think of it like kintsugi art, where you repair broken pottery by filling in the breaks with gold -

like this basically!! (meaning subaru might notice the similarities between the whole soulmate system and kintsugi itself yes)

yeah so to summarize all the ideas me and a few other people had in that thread, basically reinhard and subaru are soulmates (this can be platonic or romantic or however youd like to see it). reinhard takes on ALL of subarus physical and psychological scars so reinhard's basically Covered in them. meanwhile because reinhard doesnt physically scar, subaru only gets psychological ones - a collar mark around his neck to symbolize the collar of submission (a collar the kingdom puts on reinhard to suppress his powers; reinhard isnt allowed to leave the country without this collar on), and later in arc 5, subaru also gets a giant slash mark across his chest (to symbolize reinhard's death in arc 5). subaru's physical scars are self-explannatory - the psychological ones though include markings around the lips (for the rbd taboo :(( ) and a handprint on his chest right over his heart (because. satella/witch of envy).

meanwhile reinhard is guilt stricken because oh god my soulmate is SUFFERING and i cant even save them :(( i cant even find them!!! but at least i can take on all the burden of their scars for them ahahah i deserve this. and then reinhard looks over at subaru and goes hm. a collar mark. reminds me of the collar of submission :(((( but i cant possibly be subaru's soulmate!!! slavery is unfortunately commonplace in this world, subaru, perhaps you should go look in kararagi? :<<< so then reinhard ends up going on a wild goose chase for a soulmate that was LITERALLY right in front of him. subaru either doesnt notice the growing scars on reinhard until later (because they dont see each other very often) orrrr subaru is sweating buckets because he of course cant explain ALL of those scars so hes like haha im gonna keep quiet until i figure out how to break the news.

but then reinhard dies in front of subaru in arc 5 and then subaru watches as not only does reinhard come back to life, a new golden slash mark appears across subaru's torso that perfectly matches the wound reinhard just died from.....

yeah anyway!!! im quite fond of soulmate aus actually and this idea is particularly fun yes :o both in concept and aesthetically. ive always rotated a bunch of different rezero soulmate aus in my head and this idea is pretty cool i think!!

There isn't much context; Otto is just confronting Subaru because he tried to take on everything alone again, and then he hit him hard and started talking to him. It could be interpreted as a ship drawing or just friendship.
