UPDATE: NORTH GAZA!
Because of the dire situation and famine in North Gaza, our friend Hussam from Rafah decided to keep helping by directing 20% of all donation (starting March 11) to Mahmoud AbuSalama and his team in the North who were able to buy all what you see in his video above. So far, he received $5000 since Ramadan started.
Both Hussam and Mahmoud are so grateful and humbled by your continuous support which is helping so many families in the North and the South. Let's keep up the pace everybody!
Please note that Ramadan target of $50k started the first day of Ramadan on March 11 and the first $100k was donated and spent throughout the couple months before Ramadan.

By the way, for people who did not stay informed about Palestine throughout last week:
Isreal has planned to attack Rafah and to completely close the border to Egypt on the first day of Ramadan. This week is the very last week where we can help disabled people to get out. We do not know when the border will be open again, but it could last month if not a year. And evacuating those people out is extremely expensive. If you can please send money to either of those 2 links:
https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/raindoved
https://venmo.com/u/Rain-Dubilewski
The money is going to Safebow to evacuate kids under 4yo, disabled, and pregnant people. Those are people who definitely will not survive if they are stuck in gaza. They are extremely urgent cases, people with cancer, who need insulin, people with broken mobility aids etc...
please help.
If you're giving at least 20€, you can send me proof of it and I'll count it as an art commission.
Edit 01/03: thank you so much to everyone who gave! But I don't think I'll be able to take anymore commissions. We've now raised more than 483$US 🤯.
Please reblog the edited version now to let people know that I cannot promise to do more commissions that I already agreed to. And I know that I will stil get new DMs, I cannot stop that, and I refuse to disabled reblogs because it's too important. But if people DM me from now on, because they did not see the edit, I cannot promise them any deadline at all.
Edit 2: commissions re-opened because of recent issues they had with funding.

OP: wizard_bisan1 posted: March 23 2024. link
visual description: Bisan, an arab girl with black curly hair, standing in the street wearing a hoodie. In the background there are four story tall buildings that are white. A couple people are walking in the background and some cars and horses are moving past. One of the cars is an ambulance with the flag of Palestine and the flag of Kuwait. Two red signs with white writing can be seen but the text is blurry.
During the video 3 different pictures are put up on screen. First a photograph of Muhammad al-Nunu. Later two from a news article about the israeli soldiers attacking, one showing the soldiers and one showing a brown tanks, there is text in Arabic. Another of three boys carrying a dead person.
transcript:
Hey everyone, this is Bisan from Gaza. It's the day 69 after hundred of the genocide and the day 13 of the holy month of Ramadan.
And it's the day six of the besieging and invading of Al Shifa hospital, attacking the hospital, the displaced people inside, the doctors and the injuries by the israeli army and the israeli soldiers, the israeli tanks and bulldozers.
So for those who don't know, people are either inside one building of Shifa complex buildings, without water, without food, without the ability to move anywhere or to get outside that building and to be executed.
And talking about execution today, Muhammad al-Nunu, he is a doctor. The israeli army executed Muhammad al-Nunu because he refused to leave the unit that he is working in and refused to leave his patients and preferred to stay to complete their treatment because a lot of the ICU, of the intensive care unit patients died, passed away because there is no electricity, there is no food, there is no staff, there is bombing and burning for the hospital utilities.
So he refused to leave them and he was executed. He was killed in front of the people, in front of the patients. This is what is happening now in Al Shifa hospital.
It is a hospital and this is happening to them.
Thousands of people, women, children and innocent men and civilians are stuck in a building, in Al Shifa hospital without food, without water.
They started to drink the hospital storage saline solutions. It's the only liquids that they have.
And no one is talking about that. No one, no media, not enough media, no government, no one is talking about this.
And this is not the only horrific thing that happened today in the north of Gaza Strip, by the way, today between ten to 20 people were killed by the israeli shooting on the liquid roundabout while they were waiting for their humanitarian aid.
They were waiting for food because they're starving to death. In the north of Gaza Strip, in Ramadan months, they were waiting for food and they were killed by the israeli army.
How many times we need to scream more about that?
The north of Gaza Strip is under attack like it was the first days of this genocide. Exactly.
They are brutally killed and bombed. It is a hospital with thousands of innocent people, medical staff, injuries, civilians, and they are starved - to death. They are without water, without treatment
They are bleeding in front of each other until the death. And everyone is out of the building executed by snipers or inside starving to death.
This is what is happening now inside Al Shifa Hospital now, at this moment, for six days.

North updates, very important.. watch to the end.

Here’s how things stand on Tuesday, February 20, 2024:
Fighting and humanitarian crisis
Israel’s assault in Gaza has killed more than 29,000 Palestinians since October 7, the territory’s Ministry of Health said on Monday, marking another grim milestone in one of the deadliest and most destructive military campaigns in recent history.
Footage verified by Al Jazeera shows Palestinian people fleeing to take cover after coming under attack from Israeli forces as they waited for humanitarian aid in northern Gaza.
The Israeli military released a video on Monday showing what is believed to be the youngest captive, his brother and mother being led through the streets of the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis. Al Jazeera could not independently verify the Israeli claims.
Separately, Benny Gantz, a member of Netanyahu’s three-man war cabinet, warned that the offensive would expand to Rafah if the captives were not freed by the start of the holy month of Ramadan, expected around March 10.
Meanwhile, with thousands of Palestinians detained by Israel, an Israeli human rights group reported that Palestinians inside Israeli prisons face daily violence from guards. Physicians for Human Rights said that Israeli guards enter cells and beat inmates with batons, kicks and fists without provocation in abuse it said could amount to torture.
The war has driven around 80 percent of the Palestinians in Gaza from their homes and left a quarter of the population starving, according to UN officials.

🎀30 Day Glow Up Challenge 🎀 - day three
♡ Mindset : Staying off of social media has been helping me with not comparing myself to others. I forgot to read for 10 minutes today I was so busy running around no excuses I’ll make up for it by reading 20 minutes tomorrow. My mindset was so good yesterday my positive self talk has definitely been working I felt so good about myself today and I got a lot of compliments. When you feel good you look good it all starts within. I need to take time to do my affirmations and journaling I fell off of journaling and it’s been hard to get back on track but I will put more effort to get it done.
♡ Health : I was doing so well and I cheated on my meal plan. But it’s okay tomorrow is a better day. I’ve been drinking so much water after Ramadan I was struggling with my water intake but luckily I’ve been finding a way to up my water in take. Walking is my favorite form of movement I’ve hit my step goal today. I’ve start with 3K steps and hopefully at the end of this challenge I’ll be walking 5K steps daily. Start small and then work your way up to 10K steps. If you’re able to walk 10K steps daily that’s amazing.
♡ Self Care : I’ve invested so much into my skin care routine and I’m getting results 5 months of dedication and not only have I realized but other people around me have and have been asking for my skin care routine. Setting a bed time has been so helpful I don’t stay up past 10:30pm I wake up so energized and ready to start my day.
♡ Experience : Learning Italian has been so much funnn. I want to go to Italy one day and I hope I’m somewhat fluent and can communicate and understand the language at that time. I’ve created plans for spring break with some new friends I can’t wait we are planning on going to a all day spa, Korean hot pot, and other fun places I’m excited to report back to you girliessss<3333
I was going to make these weekly but I decided to make them daily I would love to know how your challenge is going tell me below<3333

I'm Myassar Ramadan from south Gaza, I am 33 years old, l have 3 daughter's
Kinan 11.5 years old, Seba 9 years old ,and Mariam 4 months.
I live every day war, with saying this the last day we live according to the amount of destruction and fear, a feeling that can only be described by those who live it.
War is very difficult, as I lost part of my family, my home and my kittens.
I return to study after 12 years and work hard to take high degree to be a dentist .l work in crochet field to collect money for paying fees for my university because it was my goal to continue my education.
After the dream become true ,the war came and I lost everything in a second.
Also, my mother has been suffering from kidney failure for years and needs dialysis 3 times a week.
Because of the war, she suffered from going to the hospital in danger and long distances.
I had many dreams that I wanted to achieve and succeed and become a dentist.
All we wanted was to survive the war. We were forced to be displaced more than 10 times at least.
We suffer a lot from the tent as we lived the summer with its extreme heat as it is made of poor quality nylon
And from insects and diseases
And now winter has come and we are drowning in the tents and the extreme cold
We fear death every day, we love life
Your help by donating even a small amount is able to save my life and my family's from death
Every €15 or €20 will contribute to saving my family

Vetted by @gazavetters, my number verified on the list is ( #134 )

18:00
You had just gotten off the phone with the agency you had landed an internship with. After countless interviews and days of going back and forth to establish a schedule, you had finally received the green light for your internship. Grabbing your cat in your arms, you twirled around, letting a shriek of excitement.
“We did it Lucía!!” The ping of your phone stole your attention. It was Aurora.
[From Roro ✨🌸]:
Any news about the internship? I got a response for mine!
[To Roro ✨🌸]:
OMG RORO I GOT THE INTERNSHIP!! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT 😭 HBUUU?
[From Roro ✨🌸]:
ENHORABUENA AMIGA!! I GOT MINE AS WELL!
[To Roro ✨🌸]:
I’M SO PROUD OF YOU AURORA! I can’t wait for us to celebrate xx Is tonight any good??
[From Roro ✨🌸]:
Me too! Tonight is no good :( How about tomorrow?? I’ll ask Gavi to drop me off after his physiotherapy appointment.
Your face soured at the mention of Pablo. Pablo Páez Gavira was your friend’s little brother, and despite being the same age and having similar interests, you guys hated each other. You were always bickering, exchanging snarky and sarcastic remarks about one another. Pablo’s parents were deranged by their son’s behaviour, but Aurora saw something beyond the sarcasm and lack of agreement. She often teased the two of you, pushing you to at least pretend to like each other.
“If you end up even getting along with each other, you each owe me 20€.”
“Never.” Pablo responded, shooting the basket ball into the net.
19:00
In need to contain your excitement, you put on your shoes and left the house for a walk. Strolling around the neighbourhood, you admired the early sightings of springs; people keeping their windows open, the sound of music escaping onto the streets. The smell of dinner was not unfamiliar to your nose. You realized were near Pablo’s neighbourhood when you heard the ping of your email. The smile you had harboured for the last hour was quickly wiped away as you read the title of the email.
[Termination of your internship]
Dear Y/N Y/LN,
It has been brought to our attention by our hiring committee that it will be impossible for us to accommodate your personal schedule into the internship schedule. As such, due to the late application date and your uncooperative schedule, we are forced to rescind our offer for the internship. We wish you the best in your academic and professional career,
The Agency.
Your eyebrows knitted in confusion. “Uncooperative schedule”? You knew your schedule was rather complicated, but at no point was the hiring committee bothered by it…nor had they said something either. You and the agency knew the weight this internship held for your final project this semester. If you couldn’t land an internship, you wouldn’t be able to hand in a project, and you’d automatically fail the class. Failing the class would mean you wouldn’t obtain your degree and your graduation would be delayed by a year as this class was only given during the winter. Something wet rolled from your cheeks and onto your phone screen. You didn’t know if it was tears or rain. You let your back slide against the street wall, an uneasy feeling taking over. You were hyperventilating, a million thoughts rolling in. Unable to think clearly, you ran to the only address you knew in this neighbourhood. Making it to the front of the house, you pounded at the door.
“Pablo? Pablo are you here? Please! Anyone?” You begged, sliding your body down the door as you cried uncontrollably. Your body was soaked from the rain, shivering as the wet clothes clang to you. 3 minutes had passed before rapid footsteps were heard and the door was opened in a hurry. You didn’t have the time to turn to look at whoever had opened the door before a pair of arms dragged you inside.
“Who’s that?” Pablo’s mom said, running into the entrance, apron still on.
“Y/N, what’s going on? Hey, hey, deep breaths. Look at me.” Aurora said, taking off your coat and shoes. Your chest was falling and rising at an alarming rate. Your sight was hazy as you fought tears.
“She’s freezing.” You felt Pablo’s mom dragging you to the bathroom upstairs, tears still streaming down your face. You were unable to stop. Aurora was behind you, frantically removing your soaked clothes. Pablo was following, still perplexed as to what had brought you to his house.
“I’ve got it from here,” Aurora held her hand in front of Pablo’s face. “Go get some towels and put them in the dryer for 10 minutes. Pablo do as I say or so help me God you won’t live to see another day. Now is not the time for your rivalry.” Aurora scolded her brother.
Pablo bit back his tongue, swallowing the comments he had. He obliged, rapidly jogging to his laundry closet before grabbing his fluffiest towels, and chucking them in the dryer. No matter how far back your rivalry went, he couldn’t help but feel worried about you. Your soaked clothes clinging to you, your face covered in a mixture of rain and tears, your sudden zombie-like state.
“Pablo? The dryer’s been done for 2 minutes now.” His dad’s voice pulled him out of his thoughts.
He grabbed the towels and ran upstairs before softly knocking on the bathroom door. The door opened slightly, enough for him to peak at your slumped figure on the bathroom floor, still stuck in a zombie-like state. You were left in your bra and underwear as Aurora and her mom worked tirelessly to calm you down. Pablo’s heart broke at the sight of you. He just wanted to take away that pain.
“How’s she-”, he mustered up to say before the door closed back on his face.
“Vale, hija, respira.” Pablo heard his mom softly say from behind the door. Defeated, he walked back to his room and rummaged through his drawers. As fun as the rivalry was, the current sight made him want to burn the entire world. He dug through his clothes until he pulled a matching sweatpants and sweater set. He put the set in a basket, heading to the guest room where he grabbed the fluffy socks he kept. He grabbed those before heading down to his laundry room and putting them in the dryer to warm them up. While waiting for the dryer to finish, he walked back to the kitchen where he poured you a bowl of soup, previously made with care by his mother, and boiled some water for tea. The dryer had been done for a few minutes now when he heard the sound of the bathroom door open. He ran, skipping steps, to hand the clothes to his sister. Aurora took the clothes without hesitation, simply thinking Pablo for his actions. Gavi knew you were soon going to come out of the bathroom, so he left the food and tea on the guest bedside table. Soon enough, Aurora helped you get in bed. You had regained some colour, your hair now clean and in a braid. You were wearing the set Gavi had warmed up, the clothes baggily hanging around your body. Gavi’s inner self breathed a sight of relief seeing you settled in bed, a more peaceful look on your face.
“I’m gonna help mamá clean up the bathroom. Make sure she stays warm and at least drinks the tea or eats the soup.” She patted him on the back before closing the door behind her. Gavi simply nodded, feeling the need for rivalry fading away.
“Vale…” Gavi awkwardly sat on the edge of the bed. “Do you want the tea?”
“Did you poison it Gavira?”
Gavi chuckled, taking your sarcasm as a sign of wellness.
“No, I didn’t. Tea or soup?” He tried to sound annoyed, but his newly found care for you betrayed him.
“Soup smells delicious. I could recognize your mom’s soup from miles away.” You laughed weakly.
Gavi grabbed the tray with the bowl of soup and approached the bed. He sat on the corner before bringing a spoonful to your lips.
“Mhhh…” you moaned in delight. “Gimme more.” You felt your body slowly regaining its strength. You sat up on the bed, Gavi feeding you one more spoonful of soup.
“Y/N, what happened? You had us all scared.” Pablo confessed, setting aside the bowl of soup.
You sighed, debating telling your newfound friend the truth.
“I…um. You know that class Aurora and I are taking? The one where we need to intern with a company related to the theme assigned to us? Well, if we don’t land an interview by the deadline, we automatically fail the class. And up until,” you checked your phone. “2 hours ago, I had an internship. Until I received an email telling me that they had to rescind their internship offer due to schedule issues. And if I don’t pass this class, I have to wait a whole year to retake the class. Which also means my graduation is delayed.”
“I don’t get it… How could they do this?” Gavi angrily asked. “What theme were you assigned?”
“Gavi… I’m not sure you can help in this situation…” Gavi’s eyes pierced through yours, desperately trying to uncover your secret. He had this kindness in his eyes, something you had never noticed before…. Maybe because you were too busy being at each other’s throats.
“What theme were you assigned?” He asked a second time.
“Media in sports…”
“You’re doing it with us and that’s final. I’ll contact the media department first thing in the morning. They don’t have any interns for this term, they should be able to accommodate you. I may have to twist Xavi’s arm for this, and sprinkle in some emotional manipulation, but you know the mister, he can’t say no to these puppy eyes.” He bragged.
Gavi fed you a new spoonful of soup, slowly taking more space on the bed.
“What brought you here?”
You almost chocked on your soup, the brutality of Gavi’s question taking you by surprise.
“Oye Gavira, are you trying to kill me with your brutal questions?” You heard Gavi laugh, something you never dreamed you’d be able to hear coming from him. “Since you want to know, I went on a walk to contain the excitement of the news, and I made it to your neighbourhood when I received the email. I guess my instinct just kicked in, and I ran to your house. I’m sorry, I didn’t know where else to go…” you said, defeated.
You heard Gavi put down the bowl on the tray before he shuffled closer, pulling you into a hug. Shocked, you simply laid there, your arms laid on your side. Your body turned on auto-pilot and you hugged him back. You didn’t know Gavi was capable of such signs of affection, especially not with someone he’s been bickering with for the last decade. On the other side of the interaction, Gavi’s mind was rolling at 200 km/h. *What are you doing cabrón? You’re supposed to hate each other. Let her go! Push her away! Wait, this feels natural, almost meant to be…*
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry this happened to you. Aurora was boasting about how happy she was you obtained the internship with this agency. I can’t imagine how it must feel.” He whispered. You both stayed in a comfortable silence until he spoke up again. “You look tired, do you want me to leave?” He slowly got off the bed, but you pulled him right back down.
“Stay. Your presence is somewhat comforting. I don’t know what your mom put in this soup, Gavira, but it’s making you less… annoying.”You sighed, your eyelids growing heavier by the second. You heard Gavi laugh, a low but subtle chuckle, and smiled to yourself. Gavi was lying on his back, his arms crossed on his chest.
“Can I… Can I lay my head on your chest?” You asked him, your voice growing shy at the request.
Gavi was slightly taken aback, but nonetheless nodded, his heart fluttering at the thought of you being so close to him. He heard the sheets shuffle before he felt your head snuggle in on his chest. He swore right away in this moment that he was done with the animosity, the backbiting, the jokes. He was going to let you in. He was going to properly love you. He was going to cherish you. And in that split second, he realized he owed Aurora 20€, not that he minded anymore.
“Sleep tight nena.” Gavi’s hand found your hair, slowly stroking it.

The War enters a new chapter as Attacks and clashes resume in the north of the Strip amidst a new ground incursion ..

gojo satoru x muslim!reader ramadan hcs ✧
lil promt so you all dont come for me: he reverted a year ago and its his first ramadan as a muslim and your husband
a/n: ramadan mubarak !! 9 days of ramadan have passed already dang, time’s passing so quickly. this ramadan has been a little less hard, probably because its not hot ?? anyways, i hope the rest of this holy month may be full of blessings for everyone <3
also, not the first time ive written for jjk but you all dont know that since ive never posted so first jjk work??
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
• he’s so excited like actually, its his first ramadan with you and he wants to make the most of it. he decorates the house with fairy lights and ramadan decorations saying he saw online how people do this stuff when ramadan starts.
• says he’ll stay up until sehri with you but you both end up falling asleep while you were telling him funny stories about your family and you during ramadan. always sneaks sweets during sehri saying he needs that extra sugar to work him through the day.
• drinks an entire gallon of water 2 minutes before sehri ends ‘just making sure i’m not thirsty during the day’ he says as he almost chokes on all that water he’s consuming.
• he feels the burn, like my man is struggling but he’s trying his very best. the first few days are the hardest for him as he’s not used to fasting so if his stomach rumbles he justs tells it to shut up. checks time every five minutes to see if its time for iftar yet.
• whenever you’re reciting Quran, he sits near you and listens attentively. he adores it when you recite it out loud, it always calms him.
• punctual with his prayers, period. makes wudhu before every prayer but when he finds out its not obligatory, he definitely tries to keep his wudhu until isha prayer and as soon as he’s done, he makes a dash for the toilet.
• if any of his students ask why he’s fasting, he’d give an elaborate explanation of what ramadan actually is and why its so important for muslims. theyre so fascinated by the concept that they try fasting with you both for a day.
• he always helps you with iftar, no matter how busy or tired he is. helps you clean up after and you both take turns to do the dishes everyday
• if you say youre gonna pray 20 rakaat for taraweeh, he’ll definitely do the same like he’s committed and actually does it until you see him limping out of the masjid.
• wore his nike air force to masjid once and got them stolen. he was baffled like ??? why would someone steal slippers of all things?
• he thinks jam e shireen vs rooh afza debate is pointless. when he tasted both of them, he decided he’s a jam e shireen person through and through. he’d fight with anyone over this
• tries to not hover all over you during the day when youre fasting but after iftar, he loves cuddling with you <3
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
its kinda short but my brain’s not keeping up with all the bio chemistry ive been doing so this is it for now :> i might make eid headcanons

Every fucking year. The first day of ramadan Israel intensifies bombing and raiding and displacing and terrorising the Palestinians. Every. Single. Year.
It wasn't enough that they destroyed every permanent residence in Gaza, today they're bombing refugee tents in Al-Muwasi, an area designated as a safe zone by Israel.
They're terrorizing the west bank and Jerusalem as well.
Today, Israeli forces assaulted and arrested 20 Palestinian worshippers in the al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. In the west bank, illegal settlers are busy stealing more Palestinian land.
If I'm tired of hearing about it, I can't imagine what Palestinians must feel to have this happen again and again.
May allah grant them strength and sabr this ramadan. May he grant them an end to the violence. May he grant them an end to the famine, and may he grant them an end to the genocide.
Free palestine.
