Thinking about Sirius introducing Regulus to his new friends.

11 year old Regulus following after his brother like a scared kitten because after living in that cold house for years, everything suddenly seemed so loud and lively and scary. Sirius knew how hard it was for him when he first joined Hogwarts a year ago, and his little brother was always rather bad with big crowds.

Ofcourse the Marauders took him in immediately. Even though Regulus made his own friends at some point, he never turned his back at his brother and his friends. After all, they were his friends too. Remus, with whom he studied or just sat in silence whenever the tumult of Hogwarts got too overwhelming. Peter, who showed him how to bake and care for plants. And James, who would train with him for the entrance examination for the quidditch team.

So it was no wonder, that when they all decided to become Animagi, they also asked Regulus to join. It was James who had loudly declared that they couldn't leave out "mini Black".

But it was Sirius, who called out "Toebeans!" when Regulus turned into a little black cat. Regulus had rolled his eyes at the time, but secretly, he loved it. It made him feel even more connected to his brother. Padfoot and Toebeans.

However, there certainly were times when he wished he could obliviate them all (himself included). Like that time when Sirius screamed "BEAAANS" through the great hall and Regulus wished he could hide inside Evan’s rope from all the eyes.

I think I crack the lore here. Correct me if I'm wrong:

Randy (Rambley) wanted him and his friends to live eternity. With his sickness, he probably didn't have much time left, and whatever shady deal the ompany is doing without Issac's permission, he accepted without regrets. And soon his friends will join them theater they like it or not.

Side note here: I really love your chronicles Au, hopefully we get more wholesome moments.

One thing I’m surprised you got right was the fact that Randy is was ill. He spent a lot of his childhood hoping from one doctor to the next because no one knew what he had. But don’t worry, he’s all good now! The wonderful Dr. Ꞩⱥⱳɏēɍ was able to fix him right up!

ALSO something important that I want to clear up about Randy (because I think a good amount of people are under this impression): He 100% did not want his friends to end up the way they did. I’ll admit that he’s still kinda in the wrong with what he did, but he didn’t mean for any of this to happen. He just has bad abandonment issues and questionable coping mechanisms. That’s all, I’ll say for now 😊.

A bit of a sad idea after watching Jing Yuan's animated short, but...

What if, instead of Jing Yuan being struck by the mara and Yanqing having to strike him down, the opposite happens and Yanqing is affected by mara while trying to protect the general?

I know this would just be "The Final Lesson" 2.0, but maybe the Astral Express crew can help, especially since Welt actually remebers what happened in HI3.

Just a way to subvert expectations while still keeping the sad factor. Granted that, if Jing Yuan were to ever suffer the same fate as his master, I'm pretty sure we would try all of the alternatives before actually killing him.

random question, sorry, but does ollie eat vegetables? like, based on his (visible) teeth, he looks like he eats mostly meat, but IS he primarily carnivorous or does he have a more balanced diet? also, what would his favourite vegetable be?

Yup Ollie eats his veggies! His diet is mainly carnivorous hence his teeth and his stomach acid is really acidic and well designed to digest raw meat and anything that may come with it, bones n all. Unlike Ponti who almost strictly eats meat if not junk food and typically can't stand veggies (or does the whole 'i tried it one (1) time and it was gross😤 ') , Ollie doesn't mind vegetables and will cook them with the meat dish if he can. As a kid he was often the lil spice and veggie gatherer if he wasn't hunting so he's no stranger to veggies but I feel like if he was in his orc community still, he would rely on meat a whole lot more and his body would still be well adapt for it 👍 recently i picture Ollie to be more like a panther or something if he were to be associated with an animal bc while he is large as fuck and can throw his weight around he can also be terrifyingly silent since he is considered a carnivore and needs to be able to successfully hunt, same with agility bc how else would his big ass be so good at skateboarding lmfao BUT since he's in "America but more annoying" basically and doesn't really hunt for food anymore since it's at stores so his food palette is pretty diverse. Sometimes he'll still just eat the meat raw though just bc he can and he likes the taste sksksk his bloodthrist is too ingrained into him

Elaina lets her baby brothers play with her raccoon plushie to soothe them when they're crying

🥺🥺 Elaina gets really distressed when her baby brothers' cry, specially if its when she's playing with them or watching as Lexa nurses them. She hates it. They aren't criers so it makes her even more alarmed and she has come to learn that her little raccoon seems to help soothe them, they'll just grab it and snuggle with it. She always gives it to them, no questions asked.

Lexa whispers to her that's probably because it smell like her and they know their big sister will always make sure they are okay. Elaina looks very pensive at this and replies that she thinks they like it because they think it reminds them of Lexa too.

The idea that her daughter and her sons all gine comfort in a little stuffed animal that they associate with her? It just makes Lexa all warm 🥹
