This isnt trying to start discourse or anything of that nature, just an observation and discussion I felt worth having, but if Hussie is trying to say that the kids are aracial as a way to be inclusive of any and all races save for one then shouldnt that mean they that they should actually be considered panracial/racefluid? Because those are terms that indicate more or less including multiple races. Aracial feels like its trying to say its including neither and none. Like they are meant to be absolutely raceless and thus excluding the idea of race altogether. That is kind of the opposite of including any race. But it also works with their own ectobiological origins and I think just going with it being an explanation on canon rather than an appeal to diversity would have been better and more honest. On a similar note I think it actually would have been cool if more fan stuff embraced the canonical racelessness of the characters more and show what such a thing would be like… with them being weird goo babies all like show them being human-like but not really human. Idk it would be interesting and does not have to be controversial I feel. I just think its a cool angle to think about.

Basically wishing the fans enjoy the on-model look as it is? Yeah, nu-fans should be more open to accepting things as they are. There's only so much interpretation I can tolerate before the characters look like someone's OC.
