it makes more sense to compare paraphilic disorders to forms of dysphoria, since they, too, are a result of people feeling uncomfortable with the way their expression and authentic way of living are limited.

the consistent progressivism server is an entire shitpost and is probably antis ragebaiting. threatening to "hunt down" conservatives, claiming conservatives dont deserve representation in the government, claiming conservatism is inherently evil, etc etc. i can see why younger kids and non-americans might feel this way, i would too. but anyone who has gone through US world history class understands that modern day conservatism *isnt* the true and only representation of conservatism.

conservatism was originally intended to be a philosophical version of "older is wiser" basically. it wasnt about the "right-wing" or "reactionary" opinions that we see today. hell, conservatism wasnt even created in 1900's to 2000's america at all. the first traces of the term conservatism used in its raw, original form was in the 1700's.

the original day conservatists believed that social constructs represented the wisdom of the generations before them, they saw them as proof of things that had worked over time. even if they werent morally right the way we see them today. conservatists were weary about change and revolution, because they believed that fast, drastic changes would upset government balance and make lives worse. they believed if change was present, it had to be slow and thought out before acting on it.

in situations like the american revolution, conservatists spoke out against the sudden change. claiming that governments were much too complex to be planned perfectly from scratch, and they were somewhat right. the first american government failed because of this exact thing. and the second... in my opinion hasnt done much better but again, thats my opinion.

conservatists believed that the government was built to restore balance in society because humans were full of mistakes and needed to be checked. basically, they believed in a large government that weighed pros and cons of control and found a middle ground between checks and freedom.

and while im no where near a conservatist, im actually an anarchist, if we were to have a government the way we do now, every party and belief system deserves a seat at the table. a government cannot function if we control and limit someones rights based off their opinions of government. conservatists are actually somewhat useful for a government, they support stability and thinking before acting, they disencourage impulse, they recognize accountability, conservatists believe in a human's right to freedom and privacy, they recognize governments cant be fully and completely engineered to perfect society without intruding on a human's right to live, conservatism ensures balance.

conservatism isnt homophobia, it isnt transphobia, and it isnt bigotry in general. just because these people use the word conservatism to defend their bigotry and hate, doesnt mean thats what conservatism actually is.

TRANSNPD TIPS FROM A CISNPD

Redoing my old post of transnpd, feel free to ask any questions/explanation!

Decide if you are transitioning to be covert or overt narcissist, both have similarities ofc, but are very different! (Need to make a post just for that I guess)

Build up your persona: like bpd also npd have no sense of self, the difference is ; npd build a specific mask and stick up to it, instead of change mask based on the person they are interacting to, likes bpd does

Sometimes tho i slightly “change” my mask to be able to manipulate someone better

Npd is high masking, usually we are really good at adapting socially (unless there are some comorbidities like autism, ASPD. That makes more hard to mask)

Control freaks, everything must go as we want, and we’ll use any tools to archive that

Even Npd split. Simply the trigger is different: we usually npd split when we feel like our ego is being attacked.

Npd see others in a hierarchy

Npd have a “favourite person” like bpd does. It’s called “equal person” as the name suggest it’s someone we see at our level, so we respect them and see them as a real person

Then there is the “choosen person”, a Choosen person it’s not necessarily an equal, but it’s someone we choose to protect for many different reasons

Don’t be afraid to see other as tools, start to get friends just because they give you some sort of boost or advantage

Rise your standard! Start to judge and look down at people that don’t do anything to rise their status/condiction. That are miserable and pathetic

Ofc you have to stick up to those high standards yourself, and if you can’t keep up you are going to have a npd crush

Like bpd we think we are unlovable and that people will leave us eventually, again the difference here is: bpd people live their life trying to constantly demonstrate they can be loved, while we pwNPD accept it. In fact if someone abandon me my first reaction is “I knew it, no one can really love me” like I am not even surprised when this happens~ I mean, their loss, I’m fabulous <3

There was just an upload by a youtuber by the name of "The Internet Investigator" with 189K subscribers about a consang relationship themed blog, along with briefly looking into the tag and another blog

Obviously, as antis always do, the entire thing is negative. I only really clicked on it because I was genuinely surprised that it used the term "consang" rather than "incest" like usually used by antis

The reason I bring this to the attention of the community is that they very much did mention the radqueer community in the video and mentioned possibly looking into us as well

This is obviously going to bring a lot more harassment from antis, and the youtuber DOES straight up reveal both the username of the consang account, as well as just outright showing uncensored screenshots

I feel like it might be wise to possibly keep a bit of an eye out, just in case. If they're willing to blatantly show accounts, it might be best to try and private blogs if you feel that you might not be able to take the flood of harassment that's unfortunately inevitable to come

🍼 I get where ppl are coming from when they say “you dont want *thing* it isnt cute or quirky it is suffering” like yes I’m aware, however atypical dysphoria is not something I chose to have. I understand when I do end up transitioning fully to some of my transids I probably will be suffering to some degree but that to me sounds better than the dysphoria.
