Love is love
What the Bible says about homosexuality: (nothing)
What the Qur'an says about homosexuality: (nothing)
The only verses that are twisted to discuss homosexuality are entirely mistranslated and/or misinterpreted by both sets of people who follow them.
Instead, what both scriptures tell us is a story of a Prophet of God, Lut (AS), who told a city to follow the path God has laid out for all of us.
But the city of Sodom not only ignored him, but they decided to present and reinforce their power and status through terror and r-pe, a story that is not at all unbelievable as we watch people go into political power with shocking histories of sexual 'transgressions' alongside a hideous contempt for the very fabric of humanity in many cases.
The moral of the story of Lut (AS) is this:
Extend hospitality, generosity, and protection to others
Don't be greedy, stingy, or thieving
Protect vulnerable people
Do not lust over power
Have mutual respect and love for each other
Condemn fucking r-pe (didn't think we had to write that one down, but here we are)
Don't be a dick.
Follow God

May Allah protect me and my family from those who wish to harm us, and may God protect me and my family from those who do not wish to harm us, but harm us anyway. Allahumma Amin. May Allah grant me and my family Jannah. And may Allah forgive me. Allahumma Amin. Pass it on.

Is it not yet time for the believers that their hearts humble at the remembrance of God, reflecting on the truth that has been revealed? Do not be like those who were given the scripture before, and whose hearts were hardened with time. And so, a great many of them have drifted away from truth.

"There's a distinction to be drawn between those who claim to have access to revealed truth and therefore claim to know what happens to us after we're dead on the basis of a text, whether it's a Koran or a Holy Bible, which is nonsensical.
If they want to believe it then fine but they mustn't push it down our throats and they mustn't tell me who I'm allowed to go to bed with and who I'm not allowed to go to bed with. It's not acceptable. Anybody who wants to tell me what happens to me after I'm dead is either a liar or a fool because they DON'T. KNOW."
-- Stephen Fry
It's not merely that they don't know, it's that they can't know.

Just admit it. Many people want Muslims to either die or live to be slaves for them.

MOUNTAIN AS PEGS? Yes, it is!
Scientists & Geologists believe that mountains stabilize the earth's crust. If a small building needs a base called a foundation to make the structure stable on the earth, then they declared that mountains function like a peg upon the earth.
1) According to Dr. Frank Press, in his book ‘Earth’ he says ……..the mountains play an important role in stabilizing the crust of the earth……”.
2) “Andre Cailleux and J. Moody Stuart, Anatomy of the Earth (McGraw-Hill Companies: 1968), Pg 220.), states that “….. Mountains, like pegs, have deep roots embedded in the ground…”
3) According to Professor Siaveda, a world-renowned underwater geologist, “….by fixing the Earth's crust they prevent any sliding over the magma layer or amongst the layers themselves. In short, mountains can be compared to nails holding strips of wood together. The fixing effect of mountains is known as isostasy in scientific literature….”
4) G.B. Airy in 1855 suggested that mountains have a deep root of lower-density rock which the plains lack. Four years after Airy published his work, J.H Pratt offered an alternative hypothesis... By this hypothesis rock columns below mountains must have a lower density, because of their greater length, than shorter rock columns beneath plains. Both Airy and Pratt's hypotheses imply that surface irregularities are balanced by differences in the density of rocks below the major features (mountains & plains) of the crust. This state of BALANCE is described as the concept of ISOSTASY.
Thus Geology proved that mountains are like pegs.
5. Surprisingly, this truth was revealed by Allah in the 6th century. Quran declares that Allah has placed upon the earth's surface mountains firm (21:31, 16:15, 13:3, 79:32,15:19, 88:19) as the pegs (78:6-7) so that the earth should not shake (16:19, 21:31). In the second two stages during the creation of Earth, Allah placed upon the surface of the Earth firmly set mountains, He placed on the earth firm mountains, tall mountain (77:20) as pegs (78:6)  lest it should shake with its inhabitants. Quran is so clear in this regard.

Speak
How can Islam and despotism coexist when despotism is the ultimate idolatry? What is despotism other than the displacement of God, and the denial of the supernal promise of humanity? While God has endowed us with the tools to think and speak, the despot confiscates the gifts of divinity. The unwavering mask of the despot is censorship, whether it slays the intellect or suppresses its speech. Whether the despot censors in the name of God, or seeks to prevent the triumph of Satan, censoring the word, by its nature, is an act of blasphemy. Censorship preempts the possibilities of creation, perjures the testimony, with which we have been charged, and voids the very logic of human accountability. But censorship is the ailment of the despot, festering in a slough of cowardliness and fear. Seeking to escape the challenges of thought, the despot barricades himself in a stockade of arrogance that only shields his fears. But regardless of the fanfares of power and might, the despot is cowardly and weak. Any coward can fire a gun, or any tyrant can pluck out the tongues of those who dare to speak, but it takes the bravery of the sublime to confront ideas with ideas. It is impossible for a Muslim who has truly surrendered to the truth of God to refuse to confront thought with thought, and to indulge in the cowardly act of censoring speech. Light cannot exist if we ban the night, and if people cannot deny, they cannot believe. Can there be a heaven without its hell, and without hardship can there be ease? Among the mythology preserved in our Muslim history is a story that claims: "Moses, peace be upon him, asked God to ban people from speaking lies about him (Moses). God answered that He would not censor people from speaking lies about Himself, so how could he ban people from speaking about anyone else!" But no wonder! Wasn't the Devil ejected from the realm of God, and specifically put on this earth to speak? If the Lord allowed the Devil the freedom to speak, and say nothing but lies, how do we imagine that we can deny humans the right to speech?

After About 40 Years…
(The following text is mostly from this Instagram page: PanahianEN) There is a video of the ceremony of Renunciation of the Polytheists by Iranian pilgrims, which has received much attention. But there is one thing about this video that it must be mentioned. This is not the first year that Iranian pilgrims are holding this ceremony. Rather, it’s about 40 years now that they’ve been holding the ceremony of Renunciation of the Polytheists during Hajj. This is a ceremony that Imam Khomeini, inspired by Prophet Ibrahim’s Hajj, recommended that all pilgrims participate in. He introduced this ceremony as a pillar of a true Hajj.
Iranian pilgrims have suffered greatly for this ceremony during these years. Just one example of these sufferings was in 1987 when the Saudi government, a strong supporter of I$r@el, attacked the Iranian pilgrims’ Renunciation of the Polytheists march and martyred 350 pilgrims in an unparalleled crime. But finally now after many years, the truth, correctness, and beauty of this ceremony by Iranian pilgrims has been seen throughout the world, and everyone has admired and been inspired by it. This truth shows that being active on the straight path may take time, but it will definitely be effective. God has guaranteed the effectiveness of the martyrs’ blood and continuing on their path.
