I been going through my fabric supplies in an effort to unearth all my old WIPs and I still cannot decide if my mom and my color choices for this star pattern are hideous or...kinda working for me.

This project is a reaaaaaly old one that showcases how we had no idea what we were doing. We halved the quilt squares (half for me and half for mom) and years later my mom formally gave up and gave me her squares. She had finished 2 LOL. Meanwhile I was almost done with mine. Now she leaves the quilting to me.

#sketch #my art #shigaraki tomura #flowey #wanderer #scaramouche #otto apocalypse #I won't tag fandoms themselves since this is a mess #but this mess really describes what is going on in my head for past couple of months #this is hyperfixation pile #I can talk without rest about those four or at least could when it comes to wanderer #there's simply not enough stuff to talk about #Otto or Luocha too #Flowey and Tomura on the other hand somehow make the simplest stuff seem interesting #like... idk how many times I've talked about ch 235-237 they're just...#anyway it's a month old sketch that I finished just now #and I actually revisited all of those stories at least a little #forgot to color the phone in Tomura's hands but it actually looks better uncolored #fanart #in my head if you try to mix Wanderer with Tomura the latter will just do the same thing he did with Overhaul #which is showing that he is way stronger still #or something like that #Flowey is just chilling and so does Otto #as long as one does't annoy the other they're all chilling #but running is still the best option since all of them are highly dangerous #and would probably make an awful team since 3 out of 4 think that they are the important one of the team #while Otto is the one doing all the stuff while watching them fight #he's literally the voice of reason here and it's REALLY bad if that's the case #he's a great teacher and mentor but his life choices are still questionable #still better than afo for Tomura but eerily similar

don't get me wrong i will try to answer all questions about my art but i kinda don't really like explaining every tiny little aspect of my style piece by piece............ i'm not trying to gatekeep or anything but i personally don't think there *is* anything to gatekeep 😭 my artstyle isn't really a formula or anything, it's just the way i draw. you can study it and ask questions about it if you want but the deep intricacies of how i draw legs or whatever doesn't really seem helpful in my eyes

#DO NOY GET ME WRONG. I AM NOT GOING TO STOP ANSWERING QUESTIONS ABOUT MY ART #NOR AM I MAD OR ANNOYED AT THE PEOPLE WHO ASK ME QUESTIONS #but personally i think explaining every aspect of my style (save for stuff like color etc) would be limiting #because i hardly follow my own “rules” as is #when it comes to taking inspiration from others for me the best way to learn was to 1. stare at the art for hours and 2. trace #i guess this is also advice - but tracing is way more useful than having the style choice explained to you in my eyes #because you literally copy the artist's process to a full extent #like theory vs practice ig #sorry

Why is DC's official merch on their website genuinly so ugly like is this not a company filled with artists?? Even if not, they couldn't bother hiring one (1) person for the merchandise department who knows basic fashion or graphic design??
