I thought about what my life would look like without you inside my mind. Bouncing around from bad memory to unexplained behavior till finally a sweet kiss that never happened. I see you in my dreams. Do you dare to haunt me? I thought about what my life would look like if I didn’t think about you and get sad? If I just let you go and allowed you to pass on. But the fear runs too deep of forgetting even the bad stuff of knowing that it’s not just you that will pass on but me as well. Truths I cannot escape. So today I will just sit and ponder on the thought of what my life would look like with you, not in it.
