Buck: All due respect, I love you
Eddie: Don't you dare say what you're about to say
Buck: You know you're not my type, Eds
Eddie: Well you're not my type either bitch
Buck: Wait, how the fuck am I not your type?
Eddie: Because I like them a little more rugged than you
Buck: I'm rugged
Eddie: You're not really
Buck: I'm so rugged
Eddie: You're not rugged
Buck: I'm very rugged
Eddie: Look at you, you're not rugged
Buck: How am I not rugged?
Eddie: Because-
Buck: 'Cause I'm not wearing a fucking flannel in 80° weather you stupid dumb idiot
Eddie: Yeah, but look at you now, you're too angry too. You fly off the handle, I don't like that
Buck: That's a very rugged thing to do
Eddie: No it's no- "wheeze*
Buck: Is it not rugged for you?
Eddie: No it's not
Buck: No?
Eddie: You can never be what I need Buck
Buck: I think I could be exactly what you need
Eddie: That's what you think. You don't even want me!
Buck: I don't want you
Eddie: So why do you need me to have you?!
Buck: But I want you to want me
Buck and Eddie singing in unison: I want you to want me. I need you to need me

yes it is. My attraction to men is tangibly queer, so much so that I knew I was queer before I ever managed to unearth my attraction to girls from its massive repression. I just knew I liked boys in a way I saw represented by gay men in media. Almost thought I was trans for a bit to explain the phenomenon. Then I realized, no, I’ve always liked girls but was so sheltered and repressed that I had no words for it.
bisexual attraction is inherently queer! yes, even if one of those modes of attraction "seems" inherently heterosexual. it's not! unless the individual chooses to label it as het, bisexual men being attracted to women is queer. bisexual women being attracted to men is queer. get used to it!

desperately craving weird surrealist arthurania. Knights with no faces wandering through the mists. Seams between Christian and pre-Christian Britain gaping like open wounds. Beafts and visions. Maybe a monk. Maybe the monk is gay

Omg it’s me. Right now.
I hurt everyone who has the misfortune to love me. I hurt them because it’s who I am. I can’t help it. I will always be queer and I will always be the knife in their back, the wrench in their finely tuned gears.
4 years after coming out to myself, it’s still how I feel.
Growing up in the church as a queer kid is so uniquely traumatizing. You're taught that queer people go to hell before you even know that you are queer. You're taught to hate queer people before you know you're one of them. So when you first realize you like people of the same sex, you don't get butterflies in your stomach when you see your crush, you feel sick to your stomach. You've hated queer people all your life, so it's only natural to hate yourself too. No amount of prayer will make you straight, but of course you don't know that then. And you make yourself miserable for the sake of god and call your life a sacrifice and your only duty to be a martyr and die to yourself and your sinful desires until you're tired of being miserable. Until you figure out that the hell you're so scared of is the place you are right now. I'm not gonna put myself through hell to get to heaven. I'm done being miserable.

🏳️‍🌈 day 1 ~ figuring out
young dean scribbling notes and little hearts around cutout pictures of shirtless cowboys in his secret notebook. he doesn't know what it is, or how to name it, but one thing for sure is that he knows it's always been there

BBC Merlin being about 'magic' for 7 minutes gay

I find the way that BBC Merlin set up Merlin's powers in the first episode to be quite funny. I mean, we see this sort of lanky guy and it is established that he is Merlin and (according to our own common knowledge) therefore he is the most powerful warlock ever. Okay, cool. One might assume that he has come to Gaius to develop his powers, that maybe he's only in the beginning of his magical journey. But instead the exposition shows Merlin, in the pilot episode of this 5 series show, stop time and employ levitation to save someone's life with magic, and then it is announced that prince Arthur is essentially his soulmate, and their joint power will create the most glorious age Camelot has ever seen. Quite an exciting set-up. And then for the rest of the entire show this man who we know possesses TIME-ALTERING POWERS mostly uses them on-screen to do common chores and annoy and prank THAT SAME Arthur. Like that one post said, "All of it's destiny and all of it's his fault." :p

i need you all to be normal about people deciding they don't want to explore their identities. we're not inherently repressing anything, and we're not lost opportunities for self-fulfillment and finding community. maybe some people are, but we are allowed to decide we're satisfied and digging deeper isn't what we want, and we're valid for it. it is our choice. please stop treating us like we're naive and gonna regret it

“Daniel’s had sex with men how can he be a closet case” is such an extremely funny sentence as if there aren’t thousands of men in the world exactly like that. Like idk if you just aren’t knowledgeable enough about mlm spaces or what but that’s hilarious. “He’s clearly not repressed” *guy who is actively repressed*

YOU ARE DYING
THE VALVES OF YOUR HEART ARE STILL PUMPING BUT YOU ARE DYING
YOU ARE DYING
YOU ARE DYING
YOU HAVE A LIFE BUT YOU ARE DYING
YOUR CHEST IS NOTHING BUT STATIC AND YOU ARE DYING
IT ISNT SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THIS AND YOU KNOW THAT AND YOU ARE DYING
BUT THERE IS STILL TIME
IT IS NEVER TOO LATE
YOU CAN NEVER GO BACK AND YOU ARE DYING BUT IT IS NEVER NEVER NEVER TOO LATE
YOU WILL HAVE TO CLAW YOUR WAY TO LIFE AND IT WILL HURT BUT YOU WILL DIE IF YOU DO NOT FEEL THAT PAIN
YOU CAN APOLOGIZE AND BEG ALL YOU WANT BUT SOMEWHERE IT IS RAINING
AND THERE
IS
STILL
TIME

And when I say that Jackie, in the gothic subtext sense of metaphor, is more the father of Shauna’s baby than Jeff? What if I say that baby was conceived with the perspective of Shauna imagining Jackie being the one who could give those things to her? Love? Affection? Societal acceptance without the burden of her “wrongness” (her denied queerness). What then?
