#queer as a slur

When he was with a client, he had to be careful not to use any of the forbidden words. Struggle, resist, rebel, queer—and a host of others—were considered too radical by the State and had been banned decades ago, replaced with more innocuous words such as 'to make effort ', 'to dispute' and 'to betray'. Queer, having passed through 'LGBTQIA+' at the turn of the century and 'Sexual and gender divergents' to decades later, now had no permissible equivalent that wasn't a slur. As the linguists working in the State knew very well, without a vocabulary to express it, there could be no concept. By banning the very idea of queerness, they hoped that the people themselves would also disappear.

Posting faggot and queer like 2am gunshots to keep property values on my blog low and scare away assimilationist LGBTs who want to replace my empty lot full of native wildflowers with a 5-over-1 because they're too traumatized by their upbringing to accept the reality of our diverse marginalized community

because this always comes up:
the word hermaphrodite is a slur when used to talk about human beings
it is also inaccurate to describe (most, if not all) intersex people in that way
“true hermaphrodite” is sometimes still used to describe someone with ovotesticular syndrome. it is up to an individual person whether or not they choose to refer to themselves in that way
also ovotesticular syndrome is one of the less common intersex variations
intersex people will sometimes choose to reclaim the word, but many of us prefer not to use it
if you are not intersex stop using the word hermaphrodite to refer to human beings

Whining and whimpering and shaking my little hips I want him to pin me to the wall and bite my neck and feel me up and touch my nipples and make me hump his thigh while he calls me a faggot for begging for his cock while my boycunt leaks on his jeans >//////<

I genuinely like the word queer sm.
It's so much better than the acronym!
A. It's so many less syllables (therefore shorter to say and write)
B. It doesn't leave out any identities
C. It sounds better

"Stop calling me gross!"
I'll stop calling you gross, when you stop thinking about someone shoving the tip of their cock against your swollen clit, rubbing it up and down, watching it throb, and laughing at how pathetic and small it looks in comparison.
I'll stop calling you disgusting and nasty, when you stop fantasizing about someone jerking off in front of you, dumping their cum right on your stomach while your clit is ignored, hard and sensitive, and your cunt is drooling a puddle between your legs, because you're reminded just how primitive and easy your body is and how your tiny cock reacts to the realization that it'll never come close to this fat, thick, long breeding device.
I'll stop calling you a perverted fag, when you stop shoving your hands down your own pants whenever someone is being a bit mean to you, and when you stop groping and twisting your nipples whenever they perk through your shirt even the slightes bit, and when even getting dressed and feeling your underwear slip between your slick folds and rubbing against the head of your sensitive boyclit while putting it on gets you so worked up, that you gotta fingerfuck yourself.
I'll stop calling you mean things when you stop getting hard and wet from it.

So, I was going through some old Pride posts, looking for things to queue up for June, and I remembered this post:
Tumblr media
This 9 note post got me my first anon hate and death threats, sparked a few follow up "Another Fun Fact About Queer" posts, that led to very intense bullying from mostly very young people, and even more hate mail.
9 notes. I would have sworn this was my first big post, based on the fallout, but it says it right there: 9 notes!
Anyway, while I have since learned more about gender, sex, and identity since 2017, I have only come to love "Queer" more. It's a beautiful, empowering word, and it means I don't need to hand out a big gay resume to everyone to vet. And, my favorite part, is that it automatically puts me in a beautiful community of people who I know are in my corner, and I love that for all of us.
All this to say:
Fun fact about the word "Queer" as an umbrella term:
It includes any and all identities, genders, and sexualities! Even those that aren't included in the ever changing LBGT+ acronym!

Anyway. Bi and Mspec Lesbians aren't a hotly "debated" topic or even new to queer culture, it's just the newest thing that bullies who REALLY want to be homophobic and even racist use to justify harassing gay people they don't like.
It's the thinnest possible veneer of progressive language wrapped around TERF and reactionary rhetoric so that they can feel righteous for forming an angry mob against vulnerable targets. If you're gullible enough to fall for the newest wave of bigotry within the queer community, and turn on your allies because they're "confusing" or "invading your spaces," the SAME way they turned on bi/pan labels, trans people, xenogenders, neopronouns, and aroace people before this, then get lost.
#No patience. Wither and rot.#These motherfuckers dogpiled the legend who leaked the no fly list because it identified as the wrong type of lesbian.#They will attack the people doing DIRECT ACTION over dumbfuck label discourse. Deeply unserious people.#Embarrassing to think that there are rubes out there who keep falling for this#For ALL our sakes I hope this is literally their first rodeos and they really haven't fallen for this bullshit twice.#But unfortunately I'm too old to be that hopeful.#I didn't get to see the big ''public block list'' made for us dirty queers who support or are bi/mspec lesbians but I hope I was on it#If a man is best judged by his enemies then exclusionists who echo terf rhetoric are the ones I WANT to have.#And ''public lesbian block list'' is in quotes because if you REALLY thought that such a thing wasn't a ''GO HARASS THESE PEOPLE'' charter-#--then you have a black mold where your brain used to be and it's rapidly eating into the bathroom tile you call a skull#Unironically you should not have a platform if you are THAT stupid or malicious to think it was anything BUT a harassment charter#I hope they're ashamed.#Context for those unaware: a flesh-eating amoeba created a public blocklist for people who supported bi lesbians#Minors and extremely small creators without big platforms were on that list#People got harassed but the most namely was Lockandkeyhyena who had people raiding his server with racial slurs and death threats.#I hope everyone involved sees who their ''allies'' are when they spread that sentiment.#A bunch of people ACTUALLY 'invading someone's space' to post the n-word and suicidebait.#THAT is who you appeal to. Sit with that.

Trying to find an intersex-friendly trans space be like

"i would love to have sex with an intersex person" "but really, are you amab or afab?" "but im trans why can't i reclaim the h-slur?" "can you give me advice for writing an intersex character?" "so do you have both parts?" "i wish i was born intersex" "you're so lucky" "i can't be intersexist, im trans" "you can't be cis and trans" "lol i lie about being intersex irl" "i have bottom growth from T so im basically intersex too!" "but what about hermaphrodite animals??" "afab transfems and amab transmascs are all cis invaders" "but intersex just sounds cooler than altersex!!" we (transfems) deserve to have spaces online where we can feel safe and where we can thrive.
there's been plenty of discourse recently alleging that we are trying to separate ourselves from the rest of the community by talking abt transmisogyny. but, we're not trying to separate, we are being separated. we are being pushed out of public spaces, and even the spaces where other queer folks are allowed to exist without fear.
and this has an effect on our ability to advocate for ourselves and share our perspectives. it also suppresses our art and the records of our lives, our existence. i'm an artist and aspiring entertainer. I would like to be able to bring a larger audience to my work, i want my work to be able to find folks who can connect with it. how can i do that effectively if so many social media sites are not safe for me? what happens if i get banned, and my profile scrubbed of all content?
i already have a decent following on here, and i feel like the bigger i get on here, the more likely i am to be stripped of everything i have on this site by displeasing the wrong people. my presence online should not be contingent on being a good little tranny with no controversial opinions, who is quiet about my weird kinks. we shouldn't have to be pallettable sterile objects for your consumption just to exist in public spaces, online and offline.
