Ok, another poll time!

Nope! You can't vote unless you're therian/alterhuman/otherkin (etc etc) because I don't want the votes to be skewed :) thank you!

You obviously don't have to but if you could reblog for more people to answer that'd be helpful! I'm very curious if using it/its is common in the therian community!

I started using it/its and it's slightly helped with my species dysphoria, because I feel like people more often refer to animals as it/its "It's so cute!" "what's its name?" "How old is it?" (Plus many many other examples that I'm too lazy to list out!)

Okay. So, I have been reading What Moves The Dead and a comment has been living in my head (specifically talking about mushrooms having pronouns of their own.) Which got me thinking. What if everything from pets, wild animals, machines, plants, places, etc. had specific pronouns just for them.

So, I wanted to ask more people in the queer community if they had an opinion on this. Feel free to add any ideas for pronouns involving anything but the typical he/she/they for something that deserves its own set of pronouns.

personally i use a mix between i, you and we depending on what i'm talking to myself for. like generally it's i, but when pushing myself to do a task it's "WE are going to get up and do the dishes", and selfcare is "YOU need to take a shower". tho none of this is consistent tbh
