Nope! You can't vote unless you're therian/alterhuman/otherkin (etc etc) because I don't want the votes to be skewed :) thank you!

You obviously don't have to but if you could reblog for more people to answer that'd be helpful! I'm very curious if using it/its is common in the therian community!

I started using it/its and it's slightly helped with my species dysphoria, because I feel like people more often refer to animals as it/its "It's so cute!" "what's its name?" "How old is it?" (Plus many many other examples that I'm too lazy to list out!)

werewolves and werebeasts! I’ve always considered myself a werewolf therian despite it technically being fictional and I wanted to see how werewolves categorise themselves within the community

Paleotherian: A therian whose theriotype is part of an extinct species.

Theriomythic: a therian whose theriotype comes from fiction, mythology, etc. Some people might want to point out to me that "yes but that's not therian it's otherkin", not really, a therian involuntarily identifies himself as an animalistic being, if it is imaginary, as long as it is animalistic, it is a therian. An otherkin unwittingly identifies as an imaginary creature that has some form of anthropomorphic consciousness (use of speech, for example).

question for those who are plural and nonhuman:

i’ve had this question in my head for a while. personally for me it’s a lot scarier of an idea for me as the host and general main guy to come out as nonhuman, even though we have nonhuman members that are known by others. I just personally feel as though being plural makes more sense and is more acceptable to people than being nonhuman, but maybe you don’t think so?
