I hate new people who talk to me and find out I’m a trans guy (I usually don’t even tell people I’m trans, I just tell them I’m a guy) and that my pronouns are He/They and then they act all supportive and in the same sentence call me “She”.

“Give them patience, they’re learning” THEY JUST MET ME!! THERES NOTHING TO LEARN! IM NOT A WOMAN! MY PRONOUNS ARE NOT SHE/HER AND NEVER HAVE BEEN IN THE TIMEFRAME OF THEM MEETING ME!!

You do not know me as a girl. You do not get to treat me as a girl. You just fucking met me, so treat me like you just met me. Don’t be disrespectful, and I will call you the fuck out if you use she/her on me.

You are NOT supportive if you use She/Her on me. You are being fake. If you don’t at least TRY, then get the fuck outta my face.

By the way you can be as much or as little trans as you want to be. Going all-out with bottom/top surgery, hormones, vocal training, etc.? Super cool. Just want hormones and no surgery? Cool. Just want vocal training? Awesome. Just want to wear different clothes? Still trans if that’s what you want. Want to change nothing at all other than using different pronouns than when you were a kid? If it’s trans enough for you, it’s trans enough for me. Only want to be trans sometimes, when you’re in the mood, when Mercury is in retrograde? Sounds legit to me. All levels of transness are valid.

to every trans guy: when you tell other people you're trans you don' thave you say you're "unfortunately" a trans guy, or that you have bad news, or something else to that effect. you don't have to say that. you can be proud of being a trans man. you can even be neutral about it. you don't have to hate yourself for it. people want you to, but it doesn't help anyone. its not unfortunate, it's a blessing.
