Project: Comeback! IS HAPPENING.
I’ve been off track since the college started, i moved my house, the errands that i should be doing went so much over my head and severe depression hit me in the back because of my heart got broken into pieces.
Yes. That’s me. Good old Kat, writing to you guys from the bottom of my life.
But no more.
Tomorrow is a brand new day and i’m taking over the control into my hands.
I hit the bottom. I cried. I fought. I probably got defeated but still...i am breathing, aren’t i?
I meal prepped, wrote a basic hiit workout to do tomorrow and made myself a detox drink.
I do not have the slightest clue about how am i going to lost all those pounds, fat, go back on track and do all those kinds of things that i was doing once upon a time.
But i’m going to take it step by step, i am going to make it happen because that’s my life and i can not ruin it any longer.
Of course i’m coming back here, the best area that i can express myself, get support from and track myself.
So, how’s it going guys?

I am working really hard, not only on my fitness, but also on my mental health, and my relationship with food. The past 2 weeks have been some of the best weeks I have had in a long time! I am finally feeling the motivation and determination to push past these next 50 or so pounds and become stronger and happier! Never give up, even if you plateau like I have for about the past year, things will move and progress when you are ready for them too. Day One of Project Come Back: So here we go with project comeback, I have been eating right and working on myself for the last 3 weeks so today is classed as the full physical comeback because that I have done my first work out today. So to start off, I had a wonderful power breakfast at Bystro in Dubai; This is their Smashed Avocado on Gluten free toast. (The toast is topped with home-made guacamole, feta, asparagus, 2 poached eggs and topped with cress.) I decided that because I’d be hitting the gym between breakfast and lunch I wanted to make sure I was filled up on good healthy fats; with a side of smoked salmon. Along with a cup of black coffee with one brown sugar. This filled me up so well and I couldn’t contemplate eating any snacks which is good. I sat and did some work after breakfast, catching up on emails etc. I then had this huge drive to go to the gym and get my sweat on. The two middle images are just a rough outline of my first workout; the left showing the length of the workout and the right showing the breakdown of each section. Lap One: Warm up 🔥 •Leg kicks: Back- 30 Seconds (Left and Right) Side- 30 Seconds (Left and Right) •Small arm circles Back- 30 Seconds (Left and Right) Front- 30 Seconds (Left and Right) •Large arm circles Back- 30 Seconds (Left and Right) Front- 30 Seconds (Left and Right) •Shoulder circles Front and Back (30 seconds approx.) •Breathing I did this circuit 3 times; 1st and 2nd time each exercise was done for 40 seconds with 20 second rest. The 3rd circuit I did each exercise without rest. Lap 2: Circuit: 🔁💗 •Jumping jacks •Squat to box •Single foot step up (higher than a step-up block) •Arm weights: Bent over rows (20 seconds) Chest Press (20 seconds) Chest Fly (20 seconds) Lap 3: Cardio/Strength Training❤️💪🏻 •5 minutes Recumbent Bike •5 minutes Upright Bike •3 Sets of 15 seated leg extension and contraction (12kg) Lap 4: Brief Ab Work & Stretches 🙆🏼 •40 seconds plank (20 seconds full plank, 20 seconds knees to floor) •15 Sit ups •Stretching Lap 5: Meditation👌🏻 I love Meditating to get closer to my higher power and supporting my mind body and soul through this process, I decided to do one of Rebekah Borucki’s 4 minute meditations, linked below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-YiBGSFjBw The final part of this post is to do with my post work out Protein shake, now I haven’t decided upon what is the best brand of protein powder to use, I also haven’t researched enough yet to decide. I therefore chose to add a couple of sources of protein to my smoothie for afterwards. Post workout Protein shake alternative Recipe: •Coconut water •Dairy Free Milk (Koko Coconut milk) •4/5 strawberries •1 Banana •3/4 full leaves of kale •1 tbsp of peanut butter •1 tbsp of Chia Seeds The sources of protein in this shake is; Kale, Peanut Butter, and Chia Seeds. It didn’t look as amazing as it does in the picture, purely because I had to edit it. But it did taste wonderful. Hope you’re all well xxx

Alright, this is my starting point for #projectcomeback ! I'm playing Massenet's meditation from Thais and I'm not cringing but I don't do it justice. Here are my TOP 3 GOALS: 1. INTONATION! I want my intonation to I be so solid I can focus on making sure every note sings rather than making sure I don't slide around 2. ARTICULATION! It's hard to tell in this clip because there aren't a lot of faster moving notes but I want my articulation clean and crisp! My fingers have a tendency to go down with less energy than I would like and keep my pinky from flailing around and jumping ship 😂 3 BOW CONTROL! I want all of my string changes to be smooth and controlled without any hiccups! I also want to increase my dynamic range while keeping it controlled because it's a little flat right now. I'm sure I can come up with more across my repertoire but for now those are my top 3 priorities! Im Juli habe ich meinen linken Knöchel gebrochen und das hat meine Fitnesspläne etwas durcheinander gesetzt. Davor hatte ich dieses Jahr schon 6kg abgenommen, aber der Bruch und meine Sommerferien führten dazu, dass ich 2kg wieder zugenommen habe. Ich möchte im nächsten Jahr viel abnehmen  denn in Oxford ist das Abnehmen fast unmöglich.
Ich habe mich erkundigt und habe mehrere Sport Möglichkeiten in Bamberg gefunden. Die Universität bietet sehr viele Möglichkeiten an und manche sind sogar kostenlos, die Liste kann man auf der Universität Webseite finden.

I had a good day so far! Still have a long way to go! 6 am tomorrow is where I want to be! It is my #projectcomeback my summer goals have been outline and I will do a post about it later! But I have a set up where I am doing weight training 3 days a week, and cardio 2-3 with 1-2 days of rest (kind of) I do work on my feet constantly moving. I saw that four years ago was my last actual race!! I’d like to get back to it :) so here is my come back! Also anyone with Apple Watch, hit me up to share stats and friendship
