I ended up faking my death by killing the me that existed here, and went by a new name. Gatz."

Finding out his cousin Morgan was actually a bit of a smart cookie and how close y'all were, I knew Jet would take her. It was a gamble, but it payed off. When that worked, I quit Team Plazma and started planting seeds that would lead the newly formed Mavericks to a place that benefited me."

"Then I went to Unova, found myself face to face with Plazma. I initially thought they had a good cause, so I figured I could at least join them and have a job. After finding out what Ghetsis really wanted... I didn't care. I had a job that payed well. I worked under Colress anyway. It was a great opportunity for me to better myself in the name of science. I actually learned the skills to investigate people on a high scale, I could be a P.I. if I really wanted to. Given my history in Sinnoh, I vowed to never look into 3 things. The young hero who went into the distortion world, the family of the me I killed, and this world's version of my fiance."

"It wasn't until I was surprised by strange Pokemon jumping out of wormholes that I realized I had a time limit of safety. It was like they could smell me or something. I eventually made a device that alerts me to sudden changes in the atmosphere so I can leave when I needed to deal with a customer. After that, I learned there were ties to Alola that might bring me home, but I couldn't do much about it. I had no idea what I was doing, and no idea who I could trust other than myself. When I discovered Gil's research into DNA and Artificial Intelligence links, I realized it would be beneficial to find a way into his circle and build an A.I. of myself to help guide me home. That's when the Maverick Initiative started. Of course, I didn't call it that. I called it Operation Ramène-moi à la Maison. I renamed it because Rin had the right idea, Maverick sounds way cooler."

"I didn't plan on Makoto. All things considered, I'm glad it worked out. Michael was a must, though. The team needed more strength, and Michael needed to find something to prove. Haku wasn't part of the plan, but he did take a load off my shoulders and another friendly face meant we were ready for Gil. Gil, if you succeeded and I stole your research for myself, please know that I am genuinely sorry. You were the reason I started this rollercoaster mission. Tamako kinda fell into it, I can only hope she enjoys the ride. I also hope by the time this video is released that we manage to find a way to send her home if she wants it. The only ones that know more about me than the rest are Haku and Valerie. Haku being a great and much needed therapist, and Valerie... I'll let her explain why she knows me on her own."

hey, want to hear something that might or will radicalize you on the state of the US education system as it comes to the real goals of public versus private schools?

this might be something well-known to some people, but having grown up in public school i didn't know the true extent until i went to college and talked to other students who had gone to private school--and they hadn't known the vice versa.

it was brought up casually when talking about admissions. someone who had gone to private school brought up how our university (a prestigious, private university that i had only found out about through one of my teachers) had visited their school directly for recruitment--along with many other "prestigious" schools such as ivy leagues, which all sent representatives to this private high school. and that this was common for private high schools.

on my end, the only recruitment going on at my public high school had been constant visits from the military, as well as a few visits from the public state-run universities, which cost an arm and a leg due to being severely underfunded in endowment by the government. i heard this same story from others at my college who had gone to public school. and the military visits were CONSTANT. advertising that they would pay for school, support you in every way.

and those i met at college who went to private school hadn't known about that. they were HORRIFIED.

like, yeah. the barriers to college for first-generation and those in lower socioeconomic classes couldn't be more mask off and tangible than those very conflicting accounts.

I know my experience is not universal, but I biked 5+ miles to do my errands today and I genuinely think we'd be much happier as a human collective if we increased residential density and switched to largely alternative modes of transportation.

About the accents: if someone has a very "proper" Italian they are either foreigners or politicians/dignitaries/etc. So that fits perfectly for Machete, but I think it would be so funny if he sometimes slipped up and used a Nepalese word bc he forgot one in "proper" Italian lol

I don't really have any new insights that are different from what others have already been talking about, but thanks for asking!! I'll also add my sophisticated opinions on what I personally hope they'll do (in my delusional daydreams)

Joel - what I think he'll do: probably radio, cringy tiktoks and 2-3 more covers and trying not to lose his mind (same girl same) - what I hope he'll do: take a (proper) social media break, go somewhere warm and sunny, maybe tan a bit, BE HAPPY 😭 and ooooh maybe some modelling 👀

Joonas - what I think he'll do: he talked about maybe doing a podcast at some point so I guess that's gonna be his solo project - what I hope he'll do: something fashion-related maybe? and if he'll indeed do the podcast, I'll hope he'll host all his bandmates as guests and give us crumbs 🥺

Niko - what I think he'll do: I suppose he'll work on his other creative projects (writing) while also focusing on music, perhaps via Minna's career more than his own stuff, but probably for his own amusement as well + record label stuff - what I hope he'll do: idk man, I just hope he gets to live as a hermit for as long as he needs to because apparently that's what he really wants! and maybe they get another cat to play with Rommi 🥰

Aleksi - what I think he'll do: music production and spending looooooooooooooooooooooooots of time in his studio doing whatever (and fighting the urge to make social media posts whenever he's bored so maybe he just texts Olli instead) + record label stuff. I doubt he'll do any solo gigs as Alex Mattson, but if he does, you can bet me and my girlies will be there 😌 - what I hope he'll do: bring back the twitch streams (not gonna happen), take up any (LITERALLY ANY) joint project with Olli and be all boyfriends in denial love about it pls pls pls I need thiiiisss otherwise I don't think I'll make it alive 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Olli: - what I think he'll do: graphic design seems to be the general consensus and this headcanon is actually suppported by recent events so I'ma go with that one - what I hope he'll do: see above what I wrote for Aleksi, also literally anything where we get to see his pretty face for at least once in a blue moon, but I'm not gonna hold my breath for that happening 😔 I'm also dyinnngggg for him to get somehow involved in Scary Noise Records, at least with his graphic design skills if nothing else, come on pleeeeaaaaasssseeeeee I don't want him to disappear completely 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 another entirely delusional daydream is for him (and Aleksi, because can these two idiots do anything without each other?) to launch their own clothesline (since Olli is the merch guy and Aleksi also had his own Alex Mattson clothesline back in the day)

Tommi: - what I think he'll do: actually just two nights ago I had a dream in which Tommi told everyone he'd gotten a job *somewhere*, I can't for the life of me remember where but it was a very ordinary job and he was so pleased with it, so yeah, I guess he's just gonna keep on having "a real job" 😂 - what I hope he'll do: something completely obscure no one could predict, like starting a husky farm or something lol

He's gotten proficient in medicae out of necessity. Leto doesn't like seeing random medical officers because of his mutations as the result of being Voidborn — most of them he's able to hide on a daily basis — so he learned how to treat his own (minor) wounds wherever possible. Even as Rogue Trader, he would rather trust Abelard to tend to his wounds instead of a random medicae officer unless it's severe enough.

Leto enjoys dancing. His family had enough status that the van Mynaards were present at high society functions and the like and much to Leto's surprise he actually enjoyed it. He was fairly popular with the young high society crowd (particularly after the Apex of Brilliance triumph) and his duelist training translated extremely well into dancing, so it often meant his dance card was full.

He doesn't do it as much as Rogue Trader anymore, but he always saves one away from the prying eyes of Dargonus' aristocracy for Cassia, if she wants it.

Leon Scott Kennedy is a nationally recognized agent occasionally assigned to the US President's security detail.

He's a survivor of the Raccoon City Incident.

He saved Ashley Graham, daughter of former President Graham from a cult in 2004, and is considered a "Hero".

He is a founding and high ranking member of the Division of Security Operations.

Private Knowledge

Leon's official codified orders are federally recognized and have been since 2002 under Anti-Virus Weapons Protocol No. 7600. It authorizes him to act on behalf of national security separate from military operations. He takes full advantage of this protocol to make decisions about what to do next. This is a position of service but also an extreme position of potentially rogue power.

Leon was involved in Operation Javier, and took Manuela Hidalgo into protective custody in 2002.

His F.O.S. Point of Contact and Handler is Ingrid Hunnigan. They have been partners since 2004.

Leon was coerced into the position of special agent for the United States by Adam Benford, who was a CIA agent then.

He's considered a mutant, due to complications with Las Plagas after 2004, and that has also locked him into specific healthcare providers, necessary procedures, and biological disposal options postmortem. He's paid significantly less than he should be paid because of legislature that was passed regarding B.O.W. mutations and he absolutely refuses to fill out paperwork to acquiesce to the law. He'll take the pay cut.

Leon took a chip containing evidence of treason that formed the groundwork of the DSO in 2005. It's a very well kept secret of his.

Leon was sent on a mission to the small country of Daijoon in 2009, where he fought a BOW species that the local populous called "Demons". He took a mission from the country's Prince exile after his own mission was fruitless, to burn a BOW "Tree of Life" that had fallen into the hands of a rich foreigner. He was successful in this mission.

A year later, he got placed into the Eastern Slav Republic on a search and apprehend/destroy mission for the "Beekeeper" of the Plaga Parasite being used there.

Leon killed President Adam Benford during a banquet in Tall Oaks University, Tall Oaks, after Adam had succumbed to C-Virus.

He made the decision to hunt and kill Derek Simmons after their first phone conversation.

Leon was involved with the routing of A-Virus in Manhattan, and successfully helped rescue Rebecca Chambers from Glenn Arias. It wasn't his finest moment.

Leon was called to Alcatraz afterwards, and assisted the BSAA in taking care of the remnants of the outbreak there, and apprehending his suspect.

There are other outbreaks he has handled in the backdrop, and his schedule is always changing.

Leon Kennedy is a Delta-32 gene carrier, making him one of the naturally immune people to Tyrant Virus. He was bitten/exposed several times in Raccoon City and didn't turn.
