along with skincare, lip care should also be incorporated into your daily routine; if u want a pretty face, you need to focus on all aspects! ♡

🎀𓂃 ࣪˖ 1. water, water, water

obviously, one of the most self explanatory points, water! dehydration = dry lips and nobody wants that. ♡

🎀𓂃 ࣪˖ 2. exfoliation

scrub ur lips with a clean ,, SOFT toothbrush in the mornings (as it can cause damage to the skin!), use a lip exfoliator, whatever you like !! there are lots of ways you can actually make a lip exfoliator at home. one of the most popular methods:

♡ mix a tsp of honey with 2 tsp of sugar

♡ massage and leave for 10 mins or so

♡ remove !!

have not tried this personally but from what i've found, this or a solely sugar based exfoliant helps the most 💖 or alternative you can simply buy one. but whatever works for you ♡

🎀𓂃 ࣪˖ 3. lip balms and ingredients

using lip balm in ur skincare is really helpful for just keeping them hydrated. some ingredients that also help w nourishment and moisturising:

♡ argan oil

♡ shea butter

♡ cocoa butter

♡ coconut oil

+ vaseline overnight also helps w this ♡

🎀𓂃 ࣪˖ 4. biting ur lips

please try and avoid biting your lips or the inside of your mouth! i used to do this a lot when i got anxious or nervous and it damages them and is just not good for you

🎀𓂃 ࣪˖ 5. gloss, oil, stick, repeat!

lip plumper, lip gloss, lip oil, lip stick, whatever you like! mouth without lip gloss is like a cupcake without frosting ♡

Did my skincare and my skin was GLOWING

I watch some makeup tutorials (since I'm a newbie) and figured out my style

Tomorrow I will pick up my outfit and and take an everything shower to get fully ready

VALENTINES PREPARATION WITH HONEY (DAY 6/7)⋆.ೃ࿔*:･🎀

welcome to day SIX of honey's valentines day series ✨ in day five, we talked about ways to enjoy time with ur sp, for day six we will tackle the actual PREPPING for valentines day and looking like the embodiment of a love fairy.

getting ready ; moisturize ur skin and lips and hands so we can be and look HYDRATED. look into valentines day makeup inspo and maybe try to do a different makeup look. be SUPER detailed when ur getting ready and dont be afraid to be extra either. when i think of makeup for valentines day i think of lots of blush and ballerina-like makeup. for some reference ;

styling : wear ribbons in your hair to look like an absolute doll. cute barrettes are also a MUST. the color that i flock to during valentines day and everyday for that matter is PINK. if u dont wanna wear fully pink, incorporate pink in some other way. in ur makeup, the accessories u wear in ur hair etc.

its all in the details ;

wearing body shimmer or a glow oil

curling ur lashes

necklaces and bracelets and rings and anklets

textures like lace and silk

an elaborate hair do

in the shower ; start with a body scrub -> wash with a bar soap -> wash with a liquid soap that has similar scents/notes as ur bar soap

out of the shower ; use body oil on damp skin -> use a hydrating body lotion that matches the scent of bath products

lastly for the super fun affirmation of our valentines day series...

im such a princess. im worth every minute i spend on myself. my skin is so incredibly soft, im so gorgeous i can barely even believe that im real. im so angelic.
