abled people suck actually. y'all don't get what eugenics means y'all shouldn't be allowed to use the word eugenics is literally 'trying to "improve" human population by getting rid of "undesirable" traits' which is literally trying to keep disabled people from existing/having kids.
telling somebody that they shouldn't have kids bc they're disabled and those kids might have that disability is being a eugenicist. it's that simple

I used to joke around that in a spiritual sort of sense I was always supposed to grow up rich. I've got the soul of an aristocrat, the wallet of a commoner and the politics of someone who is rly pissed off in the most pretentious way. Anyways, this little jokey joke feels wrong now that I know I SHOULD have been rich all along if it wasent for granpa being a failcore boy-loser. To be fair tho, growing up with an aristocrats soul in an aristocrats home would have undoubtedly made me so much more miserable and annoying. God knew the disaster he was preventing by stripping me from that lifestyle. Im still bitter tho but it'll pass
#the aristocrats soul thing is true btw ive been told by several friends that i have something very high class about me#even tho im literally always the poor one out of the bunch lmao#i actually am not sure what theyre refering to bc they say its just a vibe#but when i myself say i was ment to grow up as a rich girl i mostly just mean i have expensive tastes and a love for 'high culture' stuff#i feel very at home in places not ment for people with my economical standing lmao#this post is refering to my dad dropping lore abt my grandpa being super rich before he divorced his wife and got together with my grandma#i forgot to add any context sorry lmao#anyway..... WE COULD HAVE HAD IT AAAAAAAALL#kidding. it was for the best bc my mom would have never got together with my dad if he was some obscenely rich asshole#and my dad might have not wanted to be a teacher if he grew up in a mansion and surrounded himself with a bunch of preppy rich kid assholes#and then my kom and dad would have never met anyway 🤷‍♀️#so i guess... once again.. i should thank my grandad for humbly granting our family poverty 🙏! slay !!!! yasss queen !!#jesus were not even poor anymore 🙄 were like middle class these days so rly i have no right to be this annoying#i just need a minute to grieve the childhood i could have had ok ! 🥲 it wasent always the easiest being the poor kid growing up#back then i would have traded anything to be a rich asshole so idk. i kinda just feel bad for my childhood self#whatever. slay grandpa. thanks for being a dumb loser. peace be with you

Our queen is stepping down and letting her son take over. So the national tv has been nothing but celebration of her and her life.
Countless of people telling stories about meeting their queen and how much it ment to them.
So different from England and the discussion about how much money the coronation cost when people are living in poverty.
Perhaps because the danish royal family is extremely popular and perhaps because we don’t actually get a coronation.
The prime minister will announce the new king from the balcony of parliament and that’s pretty much it. So everyone is making their own party.
So wierd by the way to have a king. It has been a queen for the past 52 years.

Some dumb arguments zionists have!
1. "What about the Jews that were slaughtered by Palestinians hundreds of years ago!"
Hundreds of years ago? So why punish the people now if Israel existed at that time? (P.s Israel didn't exist.)
2. "Plestinians would slaughter you because you're queer."
Not any more than Israel has. Not any more than America has.
3. "Where would they go?"
Back to Europe! Y'know, where thay came from?
3.5 "They've been there for 7 generations!"
... Only 7? Palestinians have been living there for hundreds of years.
4. "You need to read a history book!"
I have! You wanna talk about the ceasefire agree ment Israel broke in 2012? You wanna talk about how many kids got kidnapped and tortured and killed from 2000 to now? You wanna talk about the encampments that people put up for Vietnam the same exact time as now?
5. "You're antisemetic."
Tell that to the holocaust survivors that live in poverty in Israel. The amount of holocaust survivors who are with Palestine! What about the Palestinian Jews? I mean surely you'll create a safe haven for them since you're all for the Jews right?
5.5 "They just hate themselves."
Ah! Yes! The people who survived a Genocide saying what someone else is doing is a Genocide because they know what a Genocide is like is them hating themselves. I think I'll take the side of the people who actually went through a Genocide...
Free Palestine!! 🇵🇸🇵🇸

Mia hated moving. Growing up in poverty, it was a near annual event for all of her life and it never got easier. The idea of moving alone stressed her out. It made her stomach roll. It was never a pleasant experience.
At least, that was, until now.
Tom hadn’t been kidding about the moving crew. She didn’t even have a chance to pack anything before they were at her door, bright and early. All she could really do was keep Sally out of the way, try to hype the child up about how exciting the move was going to be and then send her off to the babysitter’s for her shift.
That was something she hadn’t thought about before moving. Mia had counted on the connivance of having a babysitter next door. Now she’s have to make the drive back to her old complex to drop Sally off before going into work and then do it again to pick her up. Sure, the new apartment was closer to work but in reality it hadn’t ment anything.
Tom would probably not mind if she enrolled Sally in a proper preschool on his dime.
Mia swept the thought away. She wouldn’t do that, not so soon and not without talking to Tom about it first. He’d already spent so much money.
He’d been gone for just over a day and she was right, she did miss him. It was a simple fact that caught her off guard. It left a sweet taste in her mouth as she rolled around the concept.
That she could deal with fine, overall. What she struggled with most was that Sally missed him.
Tom had texted when he landed and they had attempted to chat by text while she was getting ready for bed but the conversation was stifled, awkward.
Now she was busy and so was he, or so she assumed. Maybe he was sleeping? He has texted her early in the morning to bid her a good morning but she hadn’t heard from him since.
It felt weird to leave the movers in charge of packing her apartment, her whole life while she left for work. They had her mark what was to be disposed of and accepted directions to watch for bugs and call for any questions. If they found anything that they believed would bring bugs to her new home, they were to call her to verify what to do and if she didn’t answer, make a judgment call.
She had to trust them.
That was a lot of control to give strangers but Tom insisted that he arranged the best. Small appliances and electronics would be cleaned and packed safely. Food would be safely stored during travel and fragile items would be given the most care. Furniture would be disassembled and reassembled at the new apartment for her and she could expect each box to be placed in their assigned rooms.
Mia insisted on filling a suitcase with her intimate items as well as Sally’s underwear. Sure, they were professionals but it still felt strange to have strangers pack those items.
~~~~~<3
On her way to work, Mia ran by the new apartment complex. Just as Tom had promised, she got the keys and there was no fuss or surprises. The unit was the same one they were shown and everything was exactly as she was promised. It was clean and well taken care of. Not even the windows had the slightest smear or dirty or finger prints.
Tom must have told them about the child- it’s disclosed on most leases anyway but it surprised Mia that there was childproofing done to the unit. There was a simple chain lock installed higher up on the balcony doors and a second stronger deadbolt added to the front door as well, higher. Like Mia’s old apartment, this one provided valet trash service. The trash can was the same small black can however rather than being picked up weekly, the service walled the halls nightly and would pick up whenever needed as long as the can was outside before the designated time.
The front door locked by a programmable key code. It took only a few moments to show Mia how to program a guest code that would expire in twelve hours. She also got a backup key should the battery die or she finds she’s forgotten the code. As was typical of a rental, the office also maintained a hard copy of the key.
~~~~~<3
It felt good to be at work. At work Mia could dodge questions about her personal life, hide for her breaks and be too busy to chat. She put everything into her work. For just over eight hours of the day, she could just live her normal, not complicated life.
The small dress and flashy makeup made her look different than she did on her personal time, more dolled up and with a side of glamor. She wondered if anyone would recognize her from the photos of her and Tom. She didn’t even know how well she was shown or if the pictures even showed her face but she worried anyway.
Tom had said not to look and so far she hadn’t.
Before she knew it, it was one in the morning and it was time for her to go. She was dead on her feet and not looking forward to driving from one end of the valley to the other and back again to get Sally.
How would her new neighbors feel about her coming home with a small child in the middle of the night? Would the sound of her coming home bother the unit below her? It wasn’t something she had to worry about before, her neighbors in her old apartment were well used to her schedule.
~~~~~<3
Sally was a hard sleeper and didn’t wake while being carried to the car. Mia had always felt bad for the way her work caused her daughter to have a chaotic sleep schedule. Now it would only get worse.
Once she was strapped in with the windows down, Mia handed Gretchen her payment for the night. She had raised her own kids as a single mother in poverty and knew well the struggles Mia faced and passed on a lifetime of kindness in the forgiving rates she charged Mia.
She was retired, on social security and food stamps. Gretchen, like most Americans born into poverty, never managed to escape it. Her rent was subsidized and her boys, now men around Tom’s age themselves would send her money and deliveries when they could.
Nothing official to put on the records but it was enough to ensure their mother was comfortable in her poverty while ensuring she always had access to the programs that would provide for her should they fall on hard times themselves. Generational poverty taught them how to game the system and not feel bad about it.
“That fancy man moving you uptown?” Gretchen was a old school country woman who would talk in country music lyrics if you let her. It always caught a newcomer off guard when she would first speak but Mia had always loved to sink into the warm twang of her voice.
Gretchen had dark skin that carried deep wrinkles with the scars of battles long ago fought. Her stark white hair was nearly always in a series of simple braids and adorned with small golden trinkets. Sometimes she added vibrant colors to her hair, raking advantage of the blank canvas her age provided.
People expected urban when they first saw Gretchen but the truth was urban was what her boys, not her. She had fought and sacrificed to give them access to what benefits came with growing up in the city. Her heart was forever in the ranches of Utah, a place where she loved but never really felt like she belonged.
Being a black woman, she never did fit in there even though she had been born and raised. Too much unconscious and blatant racism both but still, home called to her heart. It was better to stay in the city though. She felt safer having people that looked like her around.
“Seemed to me it happened pretty sudden. You ain’t have men around much before, now a fancy one is moving you. Better be careful, Girl.”
Gretchen never called no one by their names. There was always a pet name or nickname regardless of if you wanted it. That was part of her charm and just one more way god had made her beautiful.
“I promise, I’m being careful.” Gretchen was like a second mother to Mia in many ways. She was forever thankful for the way she would fuss over her and Sally. The love of someone who didn’t have any obligation to love you felt a the more sweet. “The apartment is paid for the year up front. There’s no losing it and I don’t know how much he’s going to be around anyway.”
“If you say so.” Gretchen opened the driver’s door for Mia, signaling that the time for talking was done and it was time for her to get on going. “Sugar, would it be better if I came to Sally for the next few weeks or so while you get settled?”
Gretchen was an angel, truly sent by the heavens.
~~~~~<3
Mia was beyond exhausted when she pulled into her assigned parking spot. Sally was likewise exhausted in the backseat of the car, sleeping soundly. She was excited to see their new home bit there was only so much excitement a kid of her age can manage when it’s two in the morning.
Carrying the child, Mia made the walk to her unit. The elevator was a godsend, saving her from having to climb stairs to the fourth floor with the dozing child in her arms.
It felt surreal to unlock the door to the unit. Her unit. Their home. Would he call it his home too? Surely not- he had a home in England somewhere. London, hadn’t he said?
“We’re home.” Mia whispered softly to the dozing sack of potatoes in her arms. “Let’s take a look around and then get you to bed.”
The apartment was clean and neat, even with all the boxes. Just as promised, the small dining table was assembled in the dining area. Boxes were stacked neatly against the wall, clearly labeled with their contents. Inside the refrigerator and freezer was all their perishable foods.
On the counter was a fruit bowl that she hadn’t owed piled high with fruit. A card was propped in front of the bowl that read: “Welcome Home” and signed by the management. Next to the bowl was a coloring book and simple pack of markers, a box of trash bags, a bottle of dish soap and a pack of sponges.
It was such a kind gesture that she had never seen before. It felt good to be treated with such respect by the management. Was this what it felt like to not be renting a poverty apartment?
Mia showed Sally the master bedroom so that if she woke in the middle of the night she would know where to go. Next was the hall bathroom between the two bedrooms. The outlet in the hall was topped with a built in nightlight. It was a soft white light. Was that always there or had they made that change for her as well?
The bathroom had a similar built in nightlight above the light switch. When Mia turned the light on, the nightlight turned off automatically. She was sure that light wasn’t there before.
How much trouble did they go through making such small changes for her comfort in the unit? Had Tom asked for it or did they do it themselves? Was it difficult? She hoped it hadn’t cost them much to do.
In Sally’s room, there was no built in nightlight. She appreciated that, she had been wanting to wean Sally off the nightlights. For now though, they would use the nightlights to keep the dark away. It was hard enough to sleep in a unknown space.
Sally’s bed was assembled and made. Her dresser was placed against the wall with her bookshelf next to it. They had unpacked her books and placed them back on the shelf. The toy bins were placed back in the shelf they belonged to.
It was a relief to see that the room didn’t have the same level of strangeness that was in the rest of the apartment. The movers had made an effort to settle this room.
Did that cost extra or were they just that kind?
The bed was made, blankets neatly folded back and waiting for Sally’s little body. Mia had planned to wash the bedding in the morning- the apartment had a built in washer and dryer set- since someone else had been handling them. Moving was a messy business anyway. But as she nestled Sally into her bed, it was clear that wasn’t needed. The bedding was freshly laundered and smelled linen fresh.
~~~~~<3
She tripped over her dress as they ran through the hotel halls. His laugh, ever so unique and warm seemed to surround her. Holding her hand in his, he kept her on their feet.
Hurry, hurry- keep running. Run as fast as your legs can take you to your future. Don’t look back. Let him lead. Follow him to the ends of the earth. Her white dress tangled around her legs and she struggled to hold onto the heels in her hands.
She knew better than to be running around a resort without shoes but couldn’t be bothered to care. This was a fairytale where the floors were clean and no drunk’s vomit or spilled drinks would dirty her feet.
Tom’s hand reached out and blocked an empty elevator door from closing. As it opened again, he slipped inside, pulling her in with him. The car was empty and they were alone for the first time. Finally alone.
Oh how good it felt to be alone with him.
How do you think the courtiers would react to an MC who they’ve known for ages, like they grew up together and married young so they know almost everything about each other?
MC has known them before the devil came into the photo and they are very understanding of the courtiers more ‘questionable’ habits, hobbies and personalities.
(Sorry for the long ask but I saw a similar ask and thought it was intriguing, you don’t have to do vasimol if you don’t want too idm xxx)
The Arcana Courtier HC's #1
For this I'm just gonig with the assumption that the MC doesn't have a demon form or any implications to their immortality.
Valdemar
Don't ask me what you saw in them but let me just say they weren't as creepy as they are now. Maybe that's what drew you to them & caused your marriage to them.
You always knew that your partner had a taste for the more medical & somewhat morbid so you decided that you'd help them by using there skills to make a profit.
You were unsurprised that they eventually made a deal with the Devil, it made sense since they were hunugry to figure out all sorts of diseases.
When you reach Vesuvia after they get hired, you have to keep them & their experiments in check and make sure the doctors working under them don't see anything they shouldn't.
You both ended up in the realm of the Arcana after the Devil was defeated, but were contempt.
Valerius
You two knew from a young age that you were in an arraged marriage, but that just made everything more convientient, cause you fell hard for this beatiful drunkard.
You both were happy that he got the job of Consul but you knew the moment Nadia went asleep that he was aiming higher than expected.
Politics was a tricky game, so knowing that Val is a bit of a selfish prick, you made sure that he & the other courtiers didn't completely fuck up Vesuvia.
He did consult you on his upcoming business venture with the Devil, you did warm him about the consequences but supproted him even if you were opposed.
When he was released from the Devil's magic, you've never been more relieved and happy but before you could admit any of that you did give him a scolding.
Vlastomil
Somehow, centuries ago, you managed to snag the man's attention away from worms and marry him. Despite his love of worms, he has a deeper love for you.
Although he was a reknowned wormoligist, you were the one making sure that you had the coin to continue a life of some luxury. You were both happy either way.
You were sceptic when he told you about making a deal with the Devil. You supported him regardless, since it ment you no longer had to worry about other things anymore.
When the M7 saved the day and beat the Devil, he returned to his human form you were happy, since it ment the worm problem would die down.
Volta
Despite the fact that you were both poverty stricken and starved, you both managed to find some light in the darkness with each other and eloped.
The deal with the Devil was a double edged sword, you both got immortality and power but at the cost of Volta never being satisfied, but it got you both out of your terrible situation.
When you both reached Vesuvia, you actually convinved her to take thr job of sniffing out the foods for the plagye, this landed in her getting hired & you living a relatively good lifestyle.
When she was finallly released from the Devil's magic, you two finally enjoyed your dream wedding without any interuptions.
Vulgura
You must be either just as bad if not more war hungry than this crabby gremlin, or had some form of bloodlust in you that they admired enough to marry you let alone befriend. You two were like Ares & Aphrodite except human, and not causing any wars.
It was, honestly, a matter of time before your spouse decided to make a deal with the Devil. You were surprised that it did not happend sooner.
When you reached Vesuvia, you managed to convince Lucio & Nadia to hire your spouse as Ponifex.
As soon as the Devil was defeated you had to deal with a sad Vulgora since the violence has absolved whch was gine since they finally calmed the fuck down.
Hope everyone has a Happy Holiday & Marry Christmas. Enjoy your holidays.
Dead Boys.
When a geordie boxer looses her brother to suicied a week before the biggest fight of her career and walks out to her boyfriends song, Dead Boys.
Main masterlist
Sam Fender masterlist
Growing up with brothers meant Lacey was always fighting. Whether it was with her brothers, Jordan and kyle or other people, it was all she seamed to do. Her oldest brother, Jordan had a different mam to her and Kyle, and grew up in Sunderland meaning they only saw him a few days a week but that didn’t matter they were still siblings.
When Lacey was 15 Jordan had signed a contract at liverpool and his football career started to take off and Kyle was 17, a year away from leaving for uni to become whatever his heart desired, he was intelligent enough to do anything, really.
Lacey was never very academically gifted, she much preferred to be out on the streets doing what ever she pleased. She hated how much control authority figures had over her. The only reason she kept going was to one, make her brothers proud and two, see her best friends everyday, Sam, Dean and Abi. The four of them had ran North Shields ragged in their youth, terrorising the neighbors and business owners all there teens.
On the 18th August 2012, Lacey had gotten her GCSE results back, they were shocking, 4 D’s and 1 C in PE the only thing she was good at, she had laughed it off at first, until she realised she couldn’t even apply for a proper collage course without resitting them. She hated exam's and refused to even attempt her GCSE’s again.
After wondering aimlessly around North Shields for the better part of 2 hours, she decided to let of some steam and wondered into a boxing gym she had passed many a times. That was probably the best decision he had ever made to this day, for that was the day her life changed forever.
That was about 11 years ago now and Lacey Henderson was very quickly becoming a household name in women's boxing. She was a mear 2 weeks away from the biggest fight of her career against Katie Taylor for the WBA,IFB and WBC belts while also putting her own belt she had defender 3 times already the WBO belt.
Her life had changed dramatically in the past 11  years, she had gone from living a life of poverty to upper middle class but yet she still refused to live anywhere apart from North Shields.
She was still extremely close to both her brother, she had watched Jordan’s devastating defeat in the Euros final a mere few months ago and Kyle had just welcomed a little girl, Bella into the world with his girlfriend, Rosie 10 months ago. They had met at a bar in the quayside, Rosie being a English teacher at her old high school and Kyle being a fireman ment they often only saw each other for a couple hours day but the love they shared was unbeatable.
Lacey still remained close to her best friends, so close in fact she was in bed with one of them. Her and sam had always loved each other more than friends but had only actually gotten together about 6 months before lockdown and what was even more surprising was catching Abi and Dean the other half of there group in Abi’s bed after a practically, heavy drinking session the day before after lockdown rules had been lifted.
6 days till fight night, she had her friend, boyfriend and team around her. Jordan and Kyle were only expected to show up a day before her fight but both rang her everyday to show their support. Lacey and Kyle had lost their mam to an overdose 3 weeks before Lacey’s 18th birthday and then the three hd lost their father to cancer 5 years ago, so they only really had each other as family now, even if they did have about a 100 cousins up and down the country thanks to their dads Gypies roots.
After finishing a sparring session, Lacey had picked up her phone to see 7 missed calls from Rosie, Kyle's girlfriend, 5 off Jordan and 3 off Sam, who was only back at the house they owned in London, which happened to be next to the Gym she attended their and Wembley arena where the fight was due to happen in 6 days time.
Lacey had decided to stay behind while everyone else had left and continue to work on her form with the punching bag.
Pulling the tape of her hands once she had finished her training for the day, Laceys phone began to ring, “Hello.” Lacey answered.
“Lace.” Rosie answered back in hysterics.
“Woah, what’s the matter, Rose? Is everyone okay?” lacey asked, anxious. She never really showed emotion but she had never heard Rosie sound so distressed.
“He’s gone, lace.” She sobbed.
“Who’s gone? What u on about?” Lacey questioned again.
“Kyle,” Rosie sobbed, “He's dead.”
The room began to spin and lights began to blur, it was like Lacey had no control over her body as she fell to her knee and her phone slipped out of her hands.
She didn’t know how long she had been on her knees, staring at the wall in frount of her but what she did know was no tears fell. It was like she went blank and just simply couldn’t process the information she had been told.
Pulled out of her thoughts by her phone ringing once again, it was Sam but she didn’t answer. Just simply declined the call, stood up and walked toward the locker room in the gym.
After showering and changing into a tracksuit she had stolen of Sam a few weeks ago, Lacey simply packed her bag and began her walk home to hers and Sam’s house.
Nobody had heard from her in over an hour since she had found out about her brother and they were beginning to panic she would do something silly, you never know how dark someone’s mind can go after hearing news like that.
Unlocking the front door, she was engulfed into Sam’s arms, he had been waiting for her to arrive him since he had heard about Kyle.
“It’s alright love, I promise I’m always here, whenever you need me, okay?” Sam reassured her.
“I’m okay Sam, honest” Lacey replied, but Sam had know the girl since she was 5 and could tell when she tried to hide what she was feeling, her big blue eyes usually gave it away.
“You might think u are but your not. It’s okay to cry darlin’, just let it all out.” Sam rubbed her back pulling her onto his knee on the floor.
“I just can’t believe he’s gone.” She spoke meekly, tears pooling in her eyes.
Soon the water works started and they didn’t stop, not until late into the night anyways.
That was 5 days ago and nobody apart from close family and friends knew what had happened to her brother. She didn’t want it to get out before her fight and everybody was completely understanding.
Jordan had arrived about 2 hours ago with his wife to watch her weigh ins. He was worried about Lacey. Worried that she break in the ring, that it would all be to overwhelming for.
Lacey stepped on the scaled making her weight by 5 pounds, it was weird for her not wearing anything about from an underwear set, and yet she had never felt more confident and Sam thought she looked stunning witch he was sure going to tell her later on when he had he to him self.
Katie Taylor had also made her weight and the two nearly ended up in a fight on the stage. It was entertaining for the fans but also fuelled a fire with in Lacey that couldn’t be put out.
The next 24 hours flew by, she had slept and eaten but could really remember doing anything else. Usually in the locker room before a fight nerves are high and adrenaline is pumping but in all honestly Lacey’s team had never seen her so mellow.
She was sat in the corner getting her hands wrapped with AirPod in calm, listening to music in a world of her own.
It was eventually time for her to walk out, with a sigh Lacey stood up and made her way to the tunnel to walk out. Her team were waiting for her walk out song to start playing, it had been picked weeks ago, shortly after the fight had been announced, so imagine there supprise when instead of Get up 10 by Cardi B Dead Boys by none other than her boyfriend Sam Fender started playing.
Her team knew it was a not so subtle nod to her now passed brother but everyone else was clueless. After a slow walk out, Lacey jumped in the ring and smirked at Katie Taylor as Dead Boys finished playing, Lacey pulled her walk out outfit off with the help of her coach, Peter Roberts.
“You got this kid,” Peter said lightly grabbing her head. Lacey just nodded and smiled. She had this and he knew it.
“Fighting out of the blue corner, all the way from Bray, Northern Ireland, Katie ‘The Bray Bomber’ Taylor, weighting in at 66 kilos, 5ft5 with a reach of 66 inches. 22 wins, 6 by K.O. Undefeated champion, with three belts on the line, WBA, IFB and WBO” the announcer screamed over the speakers.
“The challenger, fighting out of the red corner, all the way from North Shields, Newcastle, England, Lacey “The Siren” Henderson, weight in at 65.95 kilos, 5ft7 with a reach of 70 inches. Undefeated with 13 wins, 7 by K.O with the WBO belt on the line, but looking to take all four titles in her weight class.” The announcement had finished.
With the touch of gloves the fight had began, they were going for 12, 3 minute rounds to decide the champ.
It was neck to neck going into the 7th round but Katie was getting tired, while Lacey was only just starting.
Katie went in to attack but left her chin u guarded, so Lacey used that to her advantage, a swift left hook to Katie’s jaw, followed buy an uppercut and a jab to the stomach sent Katie flying onto the canvas.
After the count of 10 Katie was still unmoved, she had done it she was world champion and had all 4 belts.
Ripping her gloves off with her teeth and chucking them, she ran and jumped up onto the ropes, kissing her fingers, before putting both arms in the air and looking up.
“That’s for you big brother.” She mumbled, it was inaudible to anyone else but she knew her brother was there with her, he was in her heart and always would be.
Her team flooded the ring, hosting her on their shoulders before they cleared off and let her grab the refs had before he raised it announcing she now had all 4 belts.
She was pulled aside to talk to a reporter, tears were streaming down her face.
“So, what was that celebration aimed at?” The reporter asked.
Sam wrapped his arm around her shoulder and moods his head encouraging her to continue.
“I lost me older brother, Kyle, 6 days ago. He was meant to be here tonight, buts he’s not, he took his own life after losing a long hard battle with depression, and I never want anymore of me family to feel like they have no one cos I’ve been there before and it’s a dark and lonely place. Boxing saved is but if I hadn’t stumbled into that gym at 16, I can guarantee I wouldn’t be here today.” The tears streamed steadily down the young Geordie’s face, her accent become almost incomprehensible.
“You were the underdog going into that fight, how does it feel to come out on top?” The report asked, scribbling down her last answer.
“I’ve always been the fucken underdog, nouts changed. I just like proving people wrong.”
“What can we expect to see from you in the next year?”
“I want a family, and while I would love me own kids, it’s not the right time in my career or me partners, so maybe a new member to me family, we want to adopt. And fighting wise, who knows the world I’d ready for my to conquer. I’m 26 and already have won every single belt there is too win, so I divint nar to be honest”
“And finally is there any one you would like to call out?” The reporter asked.
“Anyone who thinks they can take these belts of me, come and give it a try.”
They story of her brother was now public knowledge as 4 days later there was hoards of reports outside Newcastle Crematorium as they laid Kyle to rest. The service was beautiful and Sam and Jordan never left her side once.
“I don’t know if I’ve ever told you, but I’m so fucken proud of you, after everything your still here and fighting.” Jordan said as he pulled her closer and kissed her forehead .
He shielded Lacey away from the flashing cameras of the newspaper as he guided her out to his car with Sam and Rebecca, Jordan’s wife and Rosie not far behind.
They pulled up outside of the Low Lights in North Shields to give there brother a proper send off and that was just what they did. They drank the day away with stories of the last and their youth all the way up to the last time they had all been together at Lacey and Sam’s house for Christmas, when Sam burnt the turkey and Jordan got that drunk he fell on top of the Christmas tree, knocking over Lacey’s candles, nearly setting the house on fire.
They had laughed, cried and grieved together but this wasn’t the hardest part of kissing there brother that part was still to come but Lacey would be fine, Sam would be by her side thought everything, just like he had been every time Lacey needed him and even when she didn’t he was there and for that she was forever great full for him.
In the months to come Lacey and Sam would become parents, just not in the way they thought, as it turns out Rosie had been 4 months pregnant when Kyle had passed. After finding out she was 6 months gone and was not getting rid of it.
The pregnancy was stressful and hard but Lacey was by her side thought it all, even when she took her last breath after delivering a beautiful little boy into the world.
It had been Sam and Lacey to take her brother and sister in laws children in. They would raise the two kids as there own but never letting them forgot how brave and strong there parents really were.
Rosie was buried next to Kyle and Sam and Lacey would take the kids to visit there parents every few weeks.
Little did they know at the time but the two children would be forever great full for there aunt and uncle.
Growing old together was all Sam and Lacey ever wanted and that was what they did. They had raised two kids, and being grandparents to their kids and many dogs and both had extremely successful careers so when they both passed at the age of 86 together in the home in North Shields, everyone knew they had lived fulfilling lives and had no regrets.
It was a perfect end to a story with a horrible start but everyone deserves a happy ending eventually.
Pics: Republikkkan lies.
1. If espionage is so important for the extreme Reich, why haven't they gone after The Big Orange Rump for selling out our national secrets?
Did any of their billion dollar payments (from foreign enemies) trickle down to your blood-stained hands?
I'm betting nothing did...
Not even change for a dollar.
2. This is why minorities don't vote for your Party.
Rather than trying to re-enslave folks, you should have tried to uplift the whole country...
But, your heart doesn't worry about the welfare of others - right?
It's all about your access to power, sex & money - right?
Is this why you surround yourself with soulless, yes-folk?
People who are only interested in their own dreams of power & money...
Folk that stab you in the back when you fire them - or, leave them to take the fall for you...
You're hurting your own Party about as much as you wish you could hurt the real Law & Order Party - the Democrats.
3. This is what the U.S. will look like under Putin's rule.
But, you don't care about that.
Instead, you've surrounded yourself with traitors - hoping so to be safe.
Traitors forever together - right?
You're forgetting that you've had to 'buy' so many of them to your side.
That's makes them dangerous - when Putin has no more need of you...
You didn't think that he'd actually let you live as some kind of overlord?
Your own 'popularity' would mark you out to be a possible challenger to his powerbase.
That's something he won't tolerate...
4. As for the billionaires that bought your spiel, if they can buy your help - they can buy anybody.
You'll have to be wary of anyone who becomes more popular than you with these corporate 'barons.'
They're so 'money conscious' that they'll always be on the lookout for someone who costs them less...
5. As for the white folk that follow you blindly, they don't understand their future use in your dystopia.
While minorities & Democrats will be fighting for their freedoms, poor white folk will have to serve as cannon fodder for your new, privileged Nazi leaders.
Some of you are even looking forward to a new Civil War.
Hoping to re-ignite the self esteem of your Aryan hate & jealousy of others.
But, you're just disposable toys that couldn't even kill the Vice-President.
All you did that January day was to become marked folk. Liable for your actions - just as you thought you had gotten away, Scott free...
So, how many of you were actually pardoned by tRump?
Without, that is, having to pay for the 'favor.'
6. So, how many of you have lived in a totalitarian nation?
Not many I'd bet.
It's not like living in the U.K. - that's a constitutional monarchy. You still have rights.
I'm talking about China, Russia or North Korea...
In these countries, everyone lives in fear. Especially those in power.
Any act, no matter how innocent, can be your last.
Anyone can be picked up by the Secret Police.
And, you have no real legal protect- ions against false arrest.
Nobody has a totally safe life.
7. We should all be working together to fight against the real problems of our times.
Things like climate change, solar eruptions & meteor strikes - for God's sake!!
"Think of your children. They're the ones who will suffer thru a hellish future...
I know the American political system is capitalistic & doesn't really care - much - about relieving poverty or easing medical assistance.
But, you still have access to better personal freedoms than in any known totalitarian state.
Banana republics are places where there's no question that you live in an oppressive & invaded land.
Closed countries that good people are dying to leave...
What does it take for you to see the truth?
Aren't you a good person?
Aren't you worthy of better treat- ment?
Let me know...
I cried my eyes out on and before my birth date, i thinking, reaching a new level of sudden burts of tears and dehydration – my throat felt like i had cold after. Its because I'm now a newer digit & nothing major have changed my whole life and only seems my resilience and power have declined to a point even drawing, which is my sanity,  my sanctuary,  my solace and fuel to live- the only thing I did consistingly for 8 hours a day or more, I can't do more than a few & in between days..
I prayed to God to take me, I'm still here clearly
One guardians also had the gall to ask me, while saying that they don't wanna anger me, now I'm 30 will I "inroll" for it now? For a split second I thought they ment I take a loan or something but no ofc its the same degeneracy of thinking that will never change. To marry and poop children. To restart the servant cycle that I have already endured with raising my 5 siblings that they completely checked out on the majority of the time and reached me a hazardous retching level of despising children and never really had a childhood because of it.
I was always the caretaker even with the people who I'm supposed to be friends with and I refuse to do so any more I REFUSE TO O REFUSE I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE
I screamed at them obviously, told them you already know my stance and how it hurt me every time this brought up, cuz already if u don't have family connections or you're poor, theres no chance. Just no chance. I know this society runs on the idea of pooping out family and supports no independence specially if u don't have the right peeing tools, even if its "advancing"..
Again they bring up its religiously required but they will not force it on me, I can't even bring up to them how the concept of sex makes me want to die rather then even consider it, but I stop myself and walked away, them still talking about how they only wanted to know
They at least know I want to live, I fucking did not have a proper underwear untill I started getting commissions, literally had nothing and still nothing, as I see my efforts fail horrendously to my fault lacking in my own surroundings or online social cues, school almost driven me mad so there's no hope for work or anyone to consider me.. I'm not even on square one of recovery, rather on -100
My other guardian unprompted told me that's not realistic, when later I told them I found something to hope for and it made me feel better.. I told them I need to have hope why u say this while our fucking life IS ALREADY UNREALISTIC YET IT STILL HAPPENING!! In a community u can't even walk 2 steps without everyone's in your business and social with u, weather u like it or not, yet we lived almost our entire lives completely isolated. Completely cut off the world to a point my latest baby sib having troubles speaking Arabic and understanding the concept of people. Poverty and having horrible extended family were the main excuses to this but they have not taken any chance to change anything, either.
Literally I couldn't tell my story to anyone cuz of how unbelievably exaggerated the issues are. And I can't do anything unless I want to ruin not only my life, but all of my sibs too. The previous  tries proved so..
.. so hopeless my chest hurt.. I can't get up from bed less my sib see my swollen face.. I still have to laugh nd play with them, nd only share my sorrow here
Looking at all the games I never got to play over the years simply due to poverty sucks. I've never played a pokemon game. The only Mario game I ever touched was Mario cart and that was at a friend's house. I had no clue how to make a Club penguin account simply because no one would teach me. And I'll never get to experience most of these games because everything is too expensive or it's too late.
This isn't ment to undermine more serious problems. I was homeless as a kid so I know the struggles, but it really dose suck that kids out there will feel alienated because they can't enjoy the things other kids do. It's heartbreaking...
“Anyways, you can be sure of one thing, a man’s got to fake just to stay alive.”
(The Setting Sun, (Girl, you know who wrote it) PG 68)
Analysis below. TW for Suicide ment on the part of the characters.
…..I am so totally normal about this line. So normal. I’m even more normal about this line at the end of a character’s suicide note.
Actually the entire note is like getting punched in the face but this line encapsulates the core of the pain(for me anyways). The act of pretending is a hard one to keep up. Which is why Naoji bemoans acting like a certain person, being seen that way, then purposefully pretending to be someone else, and then being seen as them. Realizing people, and by extension You, are so easy to manipulate is hard for someone with a loose sense of self like decadent writers(or addicts). It’s becomes easy for them(or should I say, us?) to behave a certain way, receive positive feedback, and continue with the behavior regardless as to it’s authenticity.
All of which happened to Naoji. Except his mother had such a strong sense of self that it caused him incredible shame. This coupled with facing abject poverty in post-war Japan, the sight of his ailing mother, and without access to opium(or really any kind of vices: women, sake, etc) probably drove him into a deep depression.
It makes sense when he says on Pg: “To die by being sucked into an act of desperation. No thanks. I had rather die by my own hand.” Because Naoji found himself desperate and without his typical methods of coping, there was no other course of action for him. The game was over and he knew he lost.
A fascinating look into the masculine themes of post war japan. Especially when compared to the book’s protagonist, Naoji’s sister. Kazuko finds pleasure in working in her garden, in sitting quietly with her mother. But every time she starts to feel that same desperation, she also starts getting panicked and ashamed.
I predict the book will not end with her suicide but rather her grim acceptance of a truly heinous life. Everyone has lost and now she’ll be forced to reckon with all the bills. In other modern Japanese works, she might even end up as a sex worker but Tsushima tends to look upon his female characters with much gentler and is less excited to see them brought so low.
Which is, of course, ironic considering his treatment of his own wife and other women.
-PG 68.
Curly C H A R Q U I T O
el verbo encarnado de Juanito Laguna
Para desmitificar que es categoría necesaria y excluyente, tener cantidades enormes de dinero para ser artista y sus rubros aledaños, es que me hice cargo de encarnar a Juanito Laguna, adulto, en forma de mujer artista y aún pobre. Más no así desdichad@. A Juanito que entró en el cuadro de los desperdicios, para mostrar desde el punto de vista del artista creador, la situación socioeconómica del país que le dió origen, Curly Charquito, sale del cuadro mostrando lo que muchos artistas ocultan de sus comienzos. La austeridad de mal o buen gusto, dependiendo qué tan refinado haya sido la experiencia estética vivida en el contexto familiar a temprana edad. Dado que allí radican los principales gustos o disgustos estéticos, las polémicas del buen gusto, llanto y portazos. Por ejemplo: la permanente rizada y las hombreras en las blusas de mi madre, como contrapunto de mi elección por ser objeto amado hétero, prefería el bigote y gamulán de mi padre. Pero me resultaban muy estimulantes los floripondios de los pareos etéricos burbujeantes de Rosa a las remeras rosa bebé de cuello rígido del lagarto del Cacho. Otro ejemplo. La camisa color calypso con saco blanco de punto en un casorio todos de fino negro, me resultó estrepitoso como la disputa travesada toda la noche. El exceso de objetos tejidos de lana al crochet, abultado, emparedado, afrazado me resultó muy tortuguita Manuelita. Era difícil caminar a su lado, sin esbozar una sonrisa de costado queriendo ser carcajada. Pero como María me ofendí era tan sensible, tenía que hacer esfuerzos por mantener la diplomacia de 5 a diez minutos más.
Esta herencia de capital cultural, que no sólo ha sido transferido a través de las extravagantes formas del vestir en un pueblo oxidado, me ha conferido el poder de la desmesura en la decisión y elección de adoptar una única forma de hacer las cosas con un sentido entre lo bello y lo ocurrente. Utilizar lo que se tiene cerca, no ocultar el error, incorporar al feo, al torcido, al frunce. A la mancha, a lo corrido, a lo hecho pelotita. Todo forma parte. Incluso el pelo largo que asoma por la nariz. Es que no lo quito, no porque no sepa que está allí, sino porque si hablamos de frunce, al quitarlo sufre el sacro-santo. En esto estamos todos de acuerdo por eso se le conoce como el bello más largo del cuerpo, no porque sea lindo sino porque se te frunce hasta él.
Con todo esto para decir, que el goce y quehacer artístico va acompañado de su emergente y todo lo que le rodea. No está escindido de contexto y tampoco muestra lo que no es. Es decir. No pretende ser. Es en sí mismo lo que hay hasta el momento. Si la suerte ha de cambiar quizá diseñe piezas de orfebrería con zafiros y esmeraldas. Mientras tanto, no puedo ni debo dejar de explorar las diferentes ramas del arte, porque no les tengo miedo y tengo el tiempo para hacerlo. Curar, montar, planificar, hacer, contar, justificar, argumentar, poder explayar todo el campo semiótico del antes de obra, la obra en sí, y el post no me atormenta. El nonágono semiótico, sigue siendo una herramienta que sustenta cada paso que doy y no me achico. Cada fenómeno espera su tiempo de ser mostrado al público. No era que faltara obra. Ni faltara discurso. Ni experiencias de vida. Faltaba la herramienta para contar algo que no es admisible actualmente en los circuitos de arte establecidos. Con toda audacia me abro y permito a usar los recursos del poverty style, de la mendicant® haciendo de Youtube una galería y de Tumblr el apoyo teórico escrito, poético, ensayístico y crítico. Por ahora me dá hasta aquí la mente y los recursos materiales. Agradezco no haber sido deportista de élite, porque un artista visual tiene su punto álgido de madurez a los 80. Me siento a gusto. Estoy en carrera.
Dimos cara de pena con mi primo y nos dieron unos pororó en el catamarán, comienzos de la.mendicant®
Afiche de mi ópera prima en dramaturgia: Finale de casita robada.
Autoretrato postura del loto completo en el patio del ficus pantufla gorda rosa, San Juan 2960, Santa Fe.
Curaduría del patrimonio de Nikin en su propio habitáculo. Entre los cuadros sobre la pared, hay dibujos míos y una foto de unos sapos de Alto Verde.
Obra presentada en el Rosa Galisteo en la muestra de final de cursada del profesorado en Artes Visuales "Juan y Rosa" que anduvo girando por la casa del Ossi -centro cultural y radio- Ossilandia y Radio Tomada respectivamente, a la que rescaté y reutilicé en un evento synthe que llamamos "El vórtice" junto con Jø y Jido y luego lo regalé por instagram como pizarrón y ahí lo vemos al dueño disfrutando de su conquista. Y... y... y
Viajé por error a Bariloche y esa chica Natalia me invitó a pasar unos días en el hotel de su familia. El Hotel era "Los Duendes" y ya que estaba ahí, me ofrecí a pintarles un café volador para estrenar el nuevo sector de bar.
Escritura automática sobre la envidia principal emoción perturbadora de un ENEATIPO 4: el artista
Autoretrato "mirá cómo contemplo y de fondo el descascare y el soquete de las formas abstractas sobre tablón"
Yasunari Kawabata, una recolección_gitana de esas que uno sale a caminar y encuentra misteriosamente lo que quería leer pero salía muy caro de comprar.
Planificación de montaje, todo muy casero. No me admitieron obvio. Tenía problemas sentimentales con el jurado. Aunque para el rosarino yo era una chica "muy bien vinculada".
Dificultad del artista que emprende: qué comemos.
Retrato de Papu un día de grandes avalanchas de agua cayendo dentro de nuestra charla. Nunca fui a Concordia, pero ése mate fue uno de los mejores. Era de una difunta. Lo compré sin curar en Emaus. Lo aceité con pachuli. Tenía sus cosas.
Resultados pedagógicos: enseñar a dibujar a mis sobrinas era una de mis actividades favoritas. Llevaban el grafito a otro nivel. Retrato de Monisita. El mejor que haya visto.
Diseño de interiores e indorfit cuarentenal. A caballo regalado no se le mira la cartera. Paco Jaumandreu no llamen a los bomberos, llamen al gasero.
Fotografía que me encantaría en C-print. "El patio tiene la dejadez justa. Su hojarazca y mística. El ficus ascendido. Y la Sky Dancer. Free jazz del libre albedrío, qué empalagosa redundancia"
Cuarentein and post Cuarentein production. Todos los derechos en conserva.
