Carol Danvers enjoyed the isolation of long journeys through distant space... at least, for a while. They allowed her to spend time alone and to get to know herself — as a woman, as a hero, as an icon — without the noise or clamor of busy life planet-side.

Did being alone give her a chip on her shoulder? Perhaps, but Carol wasn't one to admit it.

Carol had thought she'd seen it all, but her next mission would bend the laws of reality in ways that even she hadn't anticipated. A rescue mission near the Duplicus wormhole resulted in a risky flyby far too close to the vortex center. A bombardment of gravitational waves warped her cells down to a molecular level... all said and done, Carol survived. But she had been duplicated at a quantum level.

She flew back to her ship for an analysis, but the data proved what Carol — both of her — already expected to be true. There were now two Carol Danvers, identical down to the atom, and each with equal claim to her identity.

There was no discernible difference between the clone and the original.

One Captain Marvel was enough for this universe — having a second bullheaded, cocky, arrogant Captain floating through space was a recipe for disaster. The two Carols hated each other... at least at first, when they felt competitive over their shared identity.

But as the hours passed, Carol saw things to appreciate in her quantum clone. She liked her wit, and her determination. All the best qualities she had admired in herself, she admired in her double, too.

And it was nice finally having someone to talk to. Someone she could trust without limitation.

And there were more things Carol liked about herself, it soon became clear. She liked her own laugh, and her own smile. She liked seeing her own body from an outsider's perspective. She had a beautiful face, and a dynamite body that made Carol more sexually confused that she had felt her entire life.

Seriously, Carol couldn't take her eyes off the clone. They each caught the other steeling glances and blushing.

Had this other woman been anyone else, Carol might have considered this... a crush, in a way. It had been years since she had felt that type of spark.

But this was herself. The two of her acknowledged the chemistry, but chalked it up to simply self-confidence and a bit of harmless narcissism. Right?

"Can I be honest with you?" Carol asked.

The other laughed, "I certainly hope so."

She leaned in. "It's nice knowing — like, really knowing — that I'm hot stuff." They were already standing close at this point, but Carol reached a hand to grab the clone and pull her even closer. She ran a hand up her clone's ribs, underneath her tank top, tracing fingers along the bottom of her breast. "Fuck, I can't get over how good we look."

The other Carol just mirrored her actions, indulging in every touch as they smiled in unison.

They flirted for hours; countless near-kisses and gentle, glancing touches. Carol had never felt this relaxed around another human — if she could even call it that. It felt easy.

It was obvious to both of them what could happen next – and Carol (both of her) knew was no use keeping secrets from herself. They talked about what it might feel like to really kiss and touch each other. They joked about which Carol would take charge, and which Carol would be submissive, given that they'd both want to be the aggressor.

It was all hypothetical, of course. Until it wasn't. The tone grew tense when they both realized what would happen next.

The first kiss was slow, and deep. Neither held back. They let their lips part and their tongues connect — it was ecstatic for them to finally let their libido loose on another woman after all this time alone.

Carol finally had someone to connect with, at the deepest and most carnal level. Soon, she couldn't get enough.

since buck tommy happened i said this is gonna play out how buck and taylor was going to play out, because I've always suspected that the real reason buck and taylor were going to break up in s5 is because buck put so much more focus and energy on eddie especially going through his breakdown but of course fox said no to Buddie. Will not surprise me if the same thing happens here and Tommy realizes that Buck is in love with Eddie sometime in S8 when Buck is their for Eddie during his recovery period and Tommy is like you're in love with him. Just how Taylor would have done.

im super fascinated to see how their relationship plays out tho, having someone who is somewhat established in the canon of the story (like taylor) but who is actually like. nice to/good for buck fjfhdhfh

in hindsight, i am pretty surprised that we really didn’t get too much of taylor being annoyed about buck’s commitment to the 118, and never really much explicitly about the eddie and chris of it all, (on one hand, i dont think it was really pertinent in the writers room, but on the other i could easily see taylor being too independent to mind much that buck leaves her to her own devices yknow) so i am super intrigued about what that dynamic will look like here. especially with someone who has been textually on good terms with eddie and chris!

very curious to see how it all plays out!

Info about my chs au cause i'm bored

Ages:

Kinda random, just chose most for vibes. Organisations/Unions/whatevers are normally older.

Height: 

Based on how big the country is, example: Canada being tall, Greece being short.

Relationships and stuff: 

It really depends. Some countries decide to have mortal partners, but most of them, being done with the grief of losing them so quickly, date other countries. This is frowned upon by the leaders of the countries, so it is mostly kept secret (unless it’s for alliance purposes).

Gender: 

While all countries are born sexless, their parents/the country that founded them, often decides their gender, leading it to be possible to be trans, technically.

Wings:

Some countries have wings, most are born with them (mostly if their national animal has wings), but some gain them after a victory or a change in their government. Most countries with wings don’t like them being touched, as they are very easily broken.

Continents: 

While they do exist, they don’t interact with anyone much due to how devastating it would be to the world if an entire damn continent died. They all have wings. They work closely with organizations. 

Animal parts:

A bit different than wings, as sometimes it’s just if the country has a connection to the animal example: White Deer tail Canada, due to the large amount of deer. It’s most common for countries to have tails or mutations in their limbs, while ears are much rarer.

Children:

Countryhumans cannot get pregnant, they simply can’t. Rather, the way “children'' work, is more like when they/ the country’s leaders ‘create’ a country, it spawns in (sometimes as a child or sometimes as an adult, it depends)This explains how the usa and france only have two years in difference, despite france technically being his ‘dad’. In cases like that, when they’re close in age, they act more like siblings.

States and provinces and stuff: 

They’re technically children of the country they’re from, but again, normally they act like siblings

Boku no Hero headcanon #4

Jirou knows how to play most instruments, and learned multiple of them at once while growing up.

She usually plays guitar or bass, or the drums, but she actually knows how to play classical piano, violin, harp and cello and really likes this last one. They don't fit her punk rock vibe, so she usually hides this, but her parents have a wall of pictures of her as first chair in her city classical children orchestra, in various years.

She doesn't know how to play any instrument that requires breath, like flute, trumpet or clarinet. She's an absolute disaster, and she hides this with all her might. God forbid someone find out her only musical failure.

Her favourite instrument, contrary to popular belief, is not her electric guitar. It's actually her theremin, and she takes pride in her ability to play it. She likes the way it sounds, and how playing it looks like magic, like music is coming out of thin air through her hands. She makes it looks so easy, so fluid and natural, that Denki decides to teach himself how to play it too. I mean she just moves her hands how hard can it be? (He is an absolute disaster, and even with Jirou's help, he can't play it. Not even get a single musical note right. He decides it's impossible and the only reason Jirou can play that devil creation? Witchcraft)

She has an youtube channel just for her musical covers, and it's pretty successful. Her most viewed videos are the ones where she colabs with some classmate. Yaomomo plays piano beautifully, and their bohemian rapsody cover is by far her best video. She caught Bakugou singing quietly in the kitchen once, and has been trying to get him to colab with her since, but he threatened to blow up her theremin if she ever let anyone knows he sings, so she kinda gave up - for now.

She is The Queen of spotify playlists, and has one for each classmate, and a bunch of others, each one for a weirdly specific vibe. Mina teams up with her to create new ones, finding the perfect aesthetic and vibe, and letting Jirou go wild with the musics for hours. It's Their Thing. Not a single playlist is less than three hours long, and her rock playlist is over eight hours. She has a secret, extra playlist for Momo, and she's building up the courage to send her the link. It's five hours long, full of romantic songs, and is named "for the girl who stole my heart". Not even Mina is aware of this playlist.
