Some of you assholes are about to make me do an entire essay on writing structure, serialized fiction and like, fucking, the basic iterative creative process as it relates to HB.
Broad strokes though:
Pilot. 👏 Episodes 👏 Are 👏 Just 👏 Concepts 👏
Concepts are the INITIAL stage of the creative process. You may start with a character looking and behaving a certain way but by the time you get a final product they are completely fucking different. Or a story starts out in one direction in your early drafts but once you’ve really sat down and fleshed it out you realize you need to change it completely. This is why we have sketches, why we do drafts, why we do concept art. Every creative endeavor involves these steps. It’s rough -> refine -> refine -> refine -> finished product (or as finished as you can get with time/money/resource constraints).
That’s how every creative endeavor goes plus or minus some refinement steps. Things like money, time, and the number of people working on a project and tools available can change this math a bit but it’s ALWAYS the same basic principle. You start with a concept, you refine it over and over until it’s as close to done as you can make it. This can take a few days, this can take a few decades, but it still happens every time. Whether you SEE it or not.
Most of the time you don’t see the pilots of television shows. In major corporate productions all the behind the scenes growing pains happen before you lay your eyes on it. Examples we do have of true pilots often differ vastly from the end product and are usually released as special bonus material. Sometimes a show will call an episode the Pilot but there were versions of that pilot that got left on the cutting room floor. Before that there were character sketches, draft scripts, set designs, story breaking sessions etc that no one but the main creators see.
Independent productions, however, like Helluva Boss, like indie games, like web comics often don’t have the resources to go through that process without some transparency, they need to generate interest and capital. So they release concept art, pilots, Alpha versions and other pre-production materials to the public to get people to buy in and help them fund the project. That’s how they get it made.
The problem is some of you can’t seem to see past that rough draft.
Helluva Boss gave audiences the basic idea of the show with the Pilot. After they had secured interest and resources they could actually afford to flesh it out. And guess what? Like all creative cycles, shit changed. Characters changed. Designs changed. Stories changed. Then they released the first episodes, the final product, and those episodes said “Hey, this is what we landed on in terms of direction and this is the story we decided to tell. Here are the setups for what you’ll see going forward. Those set ups are:
“IMP is a business is hell specializing in the assasination of humans at the request of people already in Hell. There are four employees, Millie, Moxxie, Loona and the boss Blitzø. They accomplish this through the use of a grimoire that the title character (the boss) Blitzø is in possession of. He got this book from another character Stolas, they make a consensual sexual deal for use of the book. We have some indications of personality and characterization, financial struggles, but we’ll find out more in subsequent episodes.”
That’s episode 1. The first goddamn episode for the series.
Episode 2 is “Here is what we’ll actually be exploring through the course of this show beyond the broad premise you saw in episode 1: Blitzo’s relationship with Stolas. Stolas’s relationship with his family specifically his daughter and his failing marriage. Blitzo’s relationship with Millie and Moxxie. Blitzo’s relationship with his daughter. Blitzo’s issue with the Fizzarolli bot. Moxxie and Millie’s relationship dynamic.” All these things are setup and that is what the show is about. It’s what the show remains about, it’s what we’ve slowly been revealing and exploring.
So this whole “the show BECAME about Stolitz and Stolas is all sad owl now” is only an argument if all you saw and internalized was the rough draft. Because the actual FIRST. TWO. EPISODES. OF. THE. FINAL. PRODUCT. Very Explicitly layout what the show is going to be about and THATS WHAT ITS ABOUT. Blitzo’s relationships, including and very importantly his relationship with Stolas, Stolas’s relationships, and very importantly his relationship with Blitzø. Moxxie, Millie, Loona, Octavia and Stella are part of that. IMP is part of that but the central core of the show, as setup in the first two episodes are IMP, Blitzø, Stolas and the relationships that spiral off from those core things. And they have not changed, they have been expanded upon and revealed because….its a story, and that’s what happens in stories.

Blitz somehow lets himself go mentally enough for baby to take over when he wrote the names they’re deciding on on the wall, pick one yourself honey! Though you don’t really know what letters are yet! Clutch one in your fist that you choose and the daddies will see which it is
She ends up poking at the 'no whores' lemon tree sign and the 'wild and free' horse poster. Fun, but not helpful!
(Then she pokes at a little star tapestry while blowing her blepped-out tongue, and Stolas starts Thinking.)

My messy thoughts on the new episode
(spoilers for Ghostf**kers)
tldr I LOVED this one the animation saw POPING OFF the writing was great, it was well paced, everything. I just wanted to ramble so here i am talking to no one:
Ok right off the bat i had to pause this like 7 times in the first five minutes because the beginning of this is just packed with insane jokes, glass to see they havent forgotten about being a comedy show
It’s so sad to see Blitzo in this state, especially that it’s been over a month. Like look at this guy he is GOING THROUGH IT.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
also this was uncalled for how can you do me like this?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ok like my one problem i don’t like this little Scooby-doo reference with old people. I just skipped it and lost nothing, i don’t know why this is here.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the fight between Blitzo and Millie in the vents was also really well done im so glad Millie is putting up boundaries on dealing with everybody elses Bullshit.
I also don’t hear anyone talking about this but Vivinie Williams (Millie’s VA) did so well in this. Like all the voice acting in this show is peak but I’ve only really heard praise for Brendon and Bryce. Their argument here specifically, the fury in her voice was so well done, bravo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
JESUS CHRIST THEY DID NOT NEED TO GO THIS HARD this scene has been stuck in my head for the past two days, Brandon killed it in he recording booth, the animation is also just so VICERAL. Also the way the fire starts from his hands because he blames himself for it, like Viv went too far with this one. That was not ok.
Bitzo’s panic attack was also done so well. Little detail but i love that when Blitzo screams “Don’t touch me!”, Millie respects this and doesnt, instead comforting him with words. They only touch when he’s calm and ready. Love that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bro i was NOT expecting a flashback on how Millie met Blitz, also Millies design slays so hard
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the way I gasped.
I also didn’t realize how much I needed an episode focusing on these twos friendship until now. Like FINALLY a Millie episode that doesn’t suck!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Little thing i realized but notice how Blitzo doesn’t make a sex joke at this. Blitzo. Not making a provocative joke. Really just goes to show how UNCOMFORTABLE and SCARED he is. I physically recoil every time I see this it’s gross
Tumblr media
Those flashback scenes were also just so brutal. Like chaining his horns so he’s FORCED to watch is so psychotic I can’t.
its kinda sad that Blitzo’s whole motivation for doing this is to distract himself from his feelings, when that’s what he’s literally forced to confront by Ronaldo.
Tumblr media
Love a possession story. I can really appreciate how Millie does not believe Ronaldo for a second, she knows that Blitzo would never think that of her and she trusts him enough to be confident in it. Nice subversion, you go girl.
Tumblr media
This was so needlessly brutal and funny, they really went all out with this one
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yeah I think that’s all I wanted to day, just again i loved this one and it was definantly worth the multiple-month wait. Though my Hyperfixation has mostly died im hopeful that it will resurrect soon. We’ll have to wait and see.

oooh love to see yandere tag team between Blitzo and Moxie both trying to court imp darling please
hcs if possible and maybe reader can be female (or gn if that makes it easier for u UWU)
I'll try my best! I'll use GN because I've found it easier recently.
Yandere! Blitzø + Moxxie with Imp! Darling
(FT. Enabler! Millie)
Pairing: Romantic - Sharing
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Stalking, Manipulation, Possessive behavior, Polygamy (Moxxie, Millie, Reader, Probably Blitz), Violence, Mature themes, Murder, Kidnapping, Isolation, Dubious relationship(s).
Tumblr media
I feel this pairing gets more complicated than I first thought.
Mostly because I feel Moxxie is rather loyal to Millie romantically.
However, one way I can see it working is if Millie encourages it.
Like maybe Millie sees how Moxxie looks at you and suggests making you their third... which enables Moxxie.
That would explain how Moxxie's obsession works.
Then Blitzø is self explanatory... He chases after you because he fears not being loved.
I feel these two would both fight over you... yet later work on helping each other courting you.
You're no doubt a new hire to I.M.P, yet another skilled assassin hired by Blitzø to make jobs more efficient.
Although... Soon your job ends up more complicated than you thought.
You took the job expecting to just be an assassin.
Instead, it seems you're getting pulled into relationship drama involving you.
Blitzø is naturally a mess, especially after Stolas.
When you join, he no doubt finds you attractive.
Which usually ends up with Blitzø flirting crude comments around you, even during missions.
He isn't the romantic type... unlike Moxxie and Millie.
Blitzø is used to intimacy being how you showed love.
He's used to being physical, as that's how his previous relationships went.
Moxxie is different while courting...
With Millie's permission, he tries to plan things out more.
He isn't trying to seduce you.
He wants to give you warm feelings, the fuzzy kind you get from poetic words and songs.
Moxxie likes planning dates and hang outs when not on missions.
He's more romantic and less intense compared to Blitzø.
Not only that, but Millie encourages him and reassures you.
If they want anyone to be their third... It would probably be you.
This originally causes conflict.
Blitzø is upset because Moxxie already has a partner.
Meanwhile, Moxxie accuses Blitzø of just trying to sleep with you.
Although, eventually they come to a deal.
You'll be shared.
Being part of imp polygamy was not what you joined the job for, honestly.
For the most part you avoid it, the feelings your coworkers have for you being one-sided in nature.
Blitzø still tries to be seductive, secretly craving some sort of attention due to no longer being with Stolas.
You often turn him down, which frustrates your boss.
Moxxie and Millie would no doubt try making songs for you or inviting you on outings.
Yet you no doubt can tell it's a subtle way of inviting you on a date.
You often decline, trying to be friends but be firm that you aren't interested in confusing relationships at work.
Of course... That isn't enough for your fellow imps....
Blitzø and Moxxie are the main ones who court you.
Millie lets them and mostly just helps plan things.
Poor you is just trying to do your job...
Only to catch your two coworkers stalking your every move.
They both remember nearly everything about you.
Things such as your coffee order, preferred place to hang out, preferred weapon...
Oh yeah, they keep track.
You have a feeling you know how...
But you never want to press the issue.
Both imps can be quite clingy, too.
Moxxie is naturally affectionate and Blitzø is... well, I think you know why....
Both imps are violent, it's natural since you're all assassins.
I can even see them trying to impress you during jobs.
For example... Who can get rid of the target the fastest?
They try so hard to court you... even to the point of agreeing to share you.
Yet you always decline.
Unfortunately, both of them are quite persistent.
I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually just wear you down.
You may be coerced into a 'beneficial' pairing with them just to keep them happy.
You just have a little fun... it's not really a proper relationship.
But both imps seem to treat it that way... or at least Moxxie does.
You may play along for a little while.
Although, what happens when you cut things off?
Maybe you find someone else to be your partner?
It wouldn't end well.
To them, the little affection and intimacy you gave them meant a lot.
So if you left to pursue something with another demon, both imps are going to follow.
Truth is, while they can share with each other...
They'd never share you with anyone outside of I.M.P.
You should've known better, honestly...
One day, when you least expect it, both imps are going to get rid of your lover.
They don't mind teaming up to get rid of someone they feel is stealing you.
By the time you realize what happened... You already have a sack over your head.
Both of them probably kidnap you and keep you somewhere they can both have access to you.
Once you come to, you're being scolded by them.
Scolded for cheating and being disloyal.
Now the two have decided they're going to keep you away from everyone else, you'll have just them.
Blitzø is the one most irritated about it... while Moxxie is more forgiving despite being hurt.
The two are tired of their love fleeing and avoiding them.
It seems they need to be more strict... This was never a casual fling...
You're going to be theirs, forever, and you aren't leaving until you understand that.

Do you mind giving a recap for those of us who dropped the show ages ago?
Episode begins with Millie happily coming in to work.
Blitzo is spiraling hard over the fact that his rapist wrote him off, blowing all the company's money/M&M's pensions on taxidermy owls (that he makes Loona burn) and horse plates while gorging on cheese whiz and TV in his office. This has been going on for a month.
Millie hasn't been paid in a month. Moxxie's melting down trying to make the numbers add up.
Client who was killed by a ghost comes in, Millie says humans only go to one of two places when they die and ghosts don't exist. Blitz is super jazzed for it though, so Blitz and Millie take the job.
Blitz dresses and larps as the sexy ghosthunter from the show he likes. About a million unfunny sex jokes ensue.
Blitzo uses a vibrator as a ghost tracking device. I wish I was kidding.
Rolando, the guy from the leaks, works at the hotel. He's voiced by John Waters.
Blitz runs around the hotel in ghosthunter drag with a "ghost sucker" machine, disturbs a naked elderly couple who swear at him, a poorly done Scooby Doo chase scene ensues.
I can't stress enough how unfunny the first half of this episode is.
Millie just kind of takes all of this because "he needs this", eventually snaps and she and Blitz split up.
John Waters attacks Blitz with black goo and visions of people from his life telling him he sucks, including his mother.
Blah blah blah nothing happens, Millie finds Blitz curled up sobbing and a flashback ensues.
Millie used to be a total fucking badass assassin from Wrath until Blitz walked in, grappled with her, and in a scene that feels vaguely ripped off from Firefly, hires her. This is how she met Moxxie.
The fact that Blitz worked for himself is unprecedented, shame how little it's come up over the course of the show.
We see Blitz moving them all into their current headquarters, Millie says they don't deserve it, Blitz tells her to knock it off because he's poured blood, sweat, and sex into this and yes they do.
Millie's got some hangups over only being the hired muscle but fortunately doesn't try to hang herself on screen over it like in the leaks.
Millie relies on Blitz, looks up to him, was surprised to see him brought so low by the fact that the guy who coerced him into a sexual deal while listening to him be shot at doesn't want to date him anymore.
No, they don't address that last part. Of course not.
They realize their guy is a "fester demon."
Something something whatever.
Ronald McDonald possesses Blitz, makes him watch more footage of himself "ruining peoples' lives" ala A Clockwork Orange. This mostly consists of Stolas having his feelings hurt by being rightfully called out for his sexual abuse of Blitz.
I guess Cash was the one to tell Blitz Fizz didn't want to see him in the hospital but it's a blink and you miss it scene.
Millie pounds the shit out of Rolaids because she knows Blitz can take it, Blitz horks him up into the pool, then electrocutes him.
They get out of there because "hotels suck." It's not funny.
Millie calls Blitz her best friend. No indication of this has ever appeared in the show before.
Blitz has never had a friend he didn't want to fuck before. The show's words, not mine.
Blitz is done trying to muscle in on M&M's relationship.
Blitz is still sad over his rapist.
Moxxie thought he balanced their books but didn't.
The end.
Viv is still transphobic.

she is defo the big spoon when cuddling
she love resting her cheek in your soft hair
Loona~
tries so hard to act cool around you
but is secretly overthinking every little thing she does in her head
she is just scared you will get bored and find someone more cool and exiting than her
she defo shows you her human form because she wants to impress you
she also gets protective pretty easily too
Blitzo adores you
he thinks your the perfect person for his loony
but definately threatened to shoot you in the ass when you first met
but deep down has Loona's best interest at hear so he will tolerate you if that's what Loona wants
soon he ends up loving you nearly as much as Loona
it was hard for her to start discussing her feelings with you
she thinks opening up is weak, and she want to be strong because she knows hell is one of the worst places to be weak
and she wants to be that strong protector for you
but when she does open up about what life was like before Blitzo adopted her, he feels alot more relieved and thanks you for listening to her
also you really need to watch out for her mod swings
they can get messy
even if you are her bf/gf
Millie~
dating her is basically getting a new surprise everyday
she is very random
you both could be randomly going on a sweet walk and talking when she suddenly decides she wants to go on a road trip or sumthin and starts planning every little detail
when this first happened you didn't think he was serious
but the next day when you woke up to see her sat in the living room with her suitcases stacked around her
you realised what you got yourself into
sometimes she takes you to work with her so you can see what her work life i like
there is no way she is taking you into the human realm tho
it is dangerous enough for her and she would tear down herself if anything ever happened to you while you were there
but she is more than happy to tell you bout all her adventures when she gets back tho sometimes she even brings you back something cool she found that she think you would like
she remembers every small thing about you
like if you tell her a fact about you she will be like "i know"
you are beginning to think she knows you better than you know yourself
but she just wants to make you happy in every way possible
Kiki~
every nickname that exists under the sun she has called you
but her favourites are "sweets, darling, babe, baby and dollface"
she loves the flustered look on your face when she says it
she is so stylish
like she has every brand of clothes to exist
and if she really likes an outfit she will have he same outfit in like 20 different colours
she can be kinda possessive sometime tho
i hc that she is best friends with Verosika
she can get self concious that you will leave her for Versoika because she ha more fame, and she is more pretty and rich
she doesn't let you near the other succubi because she knows what they are like and she doesn't want them to try anything with you
they never would anyway
they respect that Kiki is happy
hell she might even give up her life as a succubus for you
you must be really special huh

Some Millie and IMP Thoughts
Tumblr media
I love Helluva Boss's new episode for all the reasons everyone else does! In particular, my favorite part is Millie getting fleshed out more.
I have always liked Millie and I disagree with people saying she is badly written. That said, the focus she got this episode adds a ton of depth to both her, her role in the series and the dynamics within IMP.
BLITZ AND IMP
Blitz is the titular character and protagonist of the series. He is the boss in Helluva Boss. As a result, everyone else is in the story for his sake. In particular, IMP is Blitz's found family:
Blitzo: Look, the point is, Loona is a valued member of our family, and we don't get rid of family. Moxxie: We aren't a family, sir! You are the boss! We are the employees!
Through them (and Stolas) Blitz gets to explore his ghosts and to heal. How is that so?
Loona and Moxxie seem to me two sides of the same coin:
-Loona is like Blitz, as she is told by the world she has no real value:
Adoption Center Lady: Oh, her? That's just Loona. What a nightmare. Serious attitude problems. She'll be out of our hair next month when she ages out. Good riddance, if you ask me. She'll never amount to anything much.
So, Blitz latches on her and adopts her. He showers her with the love he never got from his father.
-Moxxie is like Blitz, as he is abused by his father and loses his mother. As a result, he grows up unsure of himself and in need of love and approval:
Blitzo: Well, I'm glad everything ended up okay. Good to know we both have daddy issues, Mox.
However, Blitz often treats him poorly, downplays his abilities and mocks him.
So, Loona and Moxxie are Blitz's mirrors, as he projects on them in opposite ways. He treats Loona like he wishes his father treated him. He treats Moxxie similarly to how his father treated him. Obviously, Blitz isn't an abuser like Buckzo. He loves Moxxie and more importantly he is not his father. However, he and Moxxie do have a mentor-mentee dynamic and it is clear as day Moxxie wants Blitz's approval:
Blitzo: Gonna be honest, Moxxie- Not too bad for your first solo mission. Moxxie: Reeeeeally, siiiir? Blitzo: Nooo, no, not really. You're a fucking disgrace.
Still, Blitz is often unable to give it to him, despite the fact he clearly cares. This is also why Loona and Moxxie get often on each other's nerves:
Loona: How am I supposed to smell anything in this city? Moxxie: Can't you even do one thing right? Loona: Can't you finally do something about how fat you are?
Moxxie is the most critical of Blitz's favoritism towards Loona and is the one insisting Blitz calls her out on her poor attitude towards clients. This is not by chance. They are just like bickering siblings :''')
In a sense, this episode even subtly confirms this foiling:
Blitz: Loonie's perfect, and Moxxie's… probably got some good traits too and I'm sure we'll figure them out eventually.
Loona is perfect and Moxxie has no good traits. What about seeing the world in black and white?
So, where does Millie fit in all of this?
Blitzo: So I'm your best friend, huh? Millie: What do you think? Blitzo: I think…I- I've never had a real friend that I didn't wanna fuck.
She is the only one Blitz does not project over, so they grow into genuine friends. They are equals, value each other and love each other. So, Millie freely states what Loona and Moxxie also think, but can't properly convey:
Millie: He (Blitz) gave me so much…A career, a husband, a future. And now…He's my best friend. Blitzo: You… you don't hate me? Millie: Naw, never.
Blitz gave her, Moxxie and Loona a better future. He is their precious boss and a treasured family member.
MILLIE'S THEME
Helluva Boss has two main themes:
Relationships
Classism
Moxxie is linked to Blitz's unhealthy way to build relationships. Their bond is a complicated mix of friendship, family love, professional interest and a little bit of possessiveness on Blitz's part. That's why it is so complicated and contradictive. Millie ties into this as Moxxie's wife, since M&M's relationship is Blitz's ideal one.
Still, this episode makes clear Millie's true thematic relevance is for the topic of classism:
Millie: We… heh. We don't deserve this. We're just Wrathians, Blitzo. Muscle. It's all we're good for, all I'm good for. It's why you hired me. Any demon good at making a buck is welcome in Lust or Greed, but here? Demons like us ain't cut out for this.
Classism permeates Hell, which is built on a strong hierarchy. All characters have suffered the consequences of this, while being influenced by it at the same time. For example:
Blitz is an imp, who has been looked down and victimized by society. However, he also embraces classist prejudices and uses them as an excuse to push Stolas away.
Stolas is a Goetia, who has been a prisoner of his family's expectations and of his role in society. However, he is also unconsciously discriminating towards imps. He has no ill will towards them, but he calls them silly names and belittles them
Millie is the same. She is a wrathian imp of humble origins. In a sense, she is a stereotypical imp. She is incredibly strong, was born and lived the majority of her life in Wrath, aka imps' original ring. She fits the expectations of both her family and society. However, she deep down wishes for more, which is why she leaves the family ranch to become an assassin. This choice is already seen as subversive by her family, who expected her to stay home, so she could help with the family business. However, Millie herself has no high expectations for her future:
Millie: Bullshit! Who sent you? Millie: Who are you working for?! Blitzo: What? You don't believe me? Millie: Imps don't work for themselves, asshole.
She still sees herself stuck in Wrath. She will be one of many underpaid goons, who work for higher ranking demons. A life a little bit more adventurous than the one at the farm. Still, nothing extraordinary. Then, she meets Blitz:
Millie: Who's that? Your boss? Hah! Blitzo: HA he fucking wishes. No, I work for myself, lady.
Blitz is the first one, who recognizes her potential and who believes she can become more than what she is. He gives her the chance to explore the world outside the Wrath Ring and brings her up to Pride. When Millie doubts herself and her role in society, he is the one to reassure her:
Blitzo: Millie, I have spent too much of my time, energy, and holes into setting this up for us to entertain your bullshit. I brought you into this company for a reason, okay? You're tougher, smarter, and frankly more capable than anyone I've ever met in any ring.
Blitz gives Millie a new life, where she is free to be herself and to choose a husband she would have never chosen, if she had stayed home with her family.
Thanks to Blitz and her work at IMP she is by this point a different person than the one she was. She does not completely fit in Wrath anymore:
Sallie May: Heh, yeah, I mean, with so many exciting things here, it's no wonder you never make your way back home. SHIT! That slipped out. Millie: ..What? Sallie May: You know… the Wrath Ring, all that dirt and rust and boring nothingness. Not much of a thriving club scene down there, why visit that, right?
Which is why she is now slowly overcoming her prejudices:
Millie: Oh yeah! Y'all haven't met my boss Blitzo! And his hellhound! Loona: I'm not just his hellhound.
It is not by chance Millie is the one calling Loona Blitz's Hellbound, as if she were a pet. Moreover, it is not by chance she does so, while talking with her family. It is probably normal for wrathian imps to see hellbounds as property. So, when she visits home, she goes back to a familiar language and mindset, without even realizing how offensive it is. That is why it is relevant this episode has Millie share a bonding moment with Loona, where she calls her by name:
Millie: Thanks. Loona.
She is not only overcoming her self-insecurities, but she is also starting to see other demons differently. She is growing not only more happy, but also more open minded. All thanks to Blitz's impact on her life:
Millie: Most of my life I bought into the idea that all I could ever be was a simple farm girl. Or best an underpaid goon. Until I met some knucklehead who never gave a fuck about what anyone else said he could or couldn't be. He made me believe he could be anything. And that made me feel like I could be anything, too.
CHARLIE AND BLITZ
Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are twin series. They are complementary stories, with different focuses and a shared heart. This is shown in Charlie and Blitz, their respective protagonists. They are opposites.
Charlie is a royal demon, a young rich girl, who is optimistic and idealistic. She is obsessed with seeing the good in others. Blitz is instead a humble imp, an adult man, who is cynical and genre-savy. He sees only the worst in people to protect himself. However, both disrupt the status quo:
Charlie decides to completely change the hierarchy between hell and heaven. She is breaking the system the world is built on and re-writing the laws of the universe.
Blitz changes things in little ways. He is not trying to reform society, but he still acts in ways society does not expect, so he subverts hierarchies and transforms people around him.
That's something that comes up several times:
Striker: Boss, huh…? Ohhh, so YOU'RE the bold imp to start his own killing biz? Blitzo: Yeah, well if you're good at somethin', you should probably capitalize. Striker: Not many Imps start businesses on their own. That's pretty impressive, sir.
Crimson: Oh, I'm sure. You got to be Blitz, with the silent "o", right? I've heard a lot of good things about you and your work. Blitzo: Really? What kind of shit has Moxxie been spreading about me? I'll fucking kill you Moxxie, don't you fucking test me! Crimson: No, no! From all over. Looks like you're building a bit of a name for yourself here, kid.
Both Striker and Crimson comment on Blitz's business, in two moments that are to be seen as parallels:
-Striker says so, as the group visits Millie's family. Millie's family is a relatively happy one, as they all clearly love each other. However, it is an economically struggling one:
Joe: We lost our old farm hand to one of them terrors last week.
Millie's parents are loving, but traditionalists and stuck in the old ways.
-Crimson says so, as the group meets him and discovers he is Moxxie's father. Crimson is an imp, who built an empire. Moreover, he is not scared to go against the hierarchy and to challenge even the deadly sins:
Crimson: You probably just asked if I know who I'm dealing with. And, oh yes, I know. The weakest and most non-threatening of the Sins. The king who will do whatever it takes to save the worst-kept secret in all of Hell. We both know you won't risk anything happening to the clown. So be a good little bitch boy, and do the thing. My lawyers will be over shortly with the contract of demands. You have until the witching hour to sign it. Hueheheheheheheh!
Still, he sacrifices everything else to greed. In order to climb up, he destroys everyone around him. He killed his wife and abused Moxxie, so his son leaves him the first chance he gets.
In other words, Blitz offers Millie the opportunity to social climb and he offers Moxxie true friendship and comraderie. He gives them what they miss and want.
STRIKER
Finally, this episode indirectly adds a new layer to Striker's character and his role in the series. So, Striker is clearly everyone's dark foil.
Specifically, he is Blitz's jungian shadow aka what Blitz represses:
Striker: Blitzo, come on. You know, the two of us are superior than most of our kind. And you were so above suckin' on a disgusting, rich, pompous Goetia, only to sneak topside for scraps and work for bitter sinners, who could care less who you are, when you could be slaying Overlords.
He embodies Blitz's darkest side and tempts him to give in to it. For example, he backs Blitz up in his fight with Fizz over Royal Demons:
Striker: As far as I'm concerned, you two are BOTH embarrassments to our kind for meddlin' with blue-bloods to begin with. But at least loud-mouth here has the sense to only fuck his rich bitch, instead of bein' a little purse dog. Blitzo: Oh, great. The fuckin' supremacist is on my side, wonderful. Fizzarolli: Neither of you filth bags know what you're even talkin' about. If you think you're superior to ANYONE, then you're no better than any royal— Striker: DON'T. You. Dare… Finish that sentence, clown…
And let's say it is not by chance Striker is burnt and probably gets some scars the same episode it is revealed Blitz accidentally set his family circus on fire:
Tumblr media
He is clearly meant to embody the anti-theme, both when it comes to relationships and classism. He is who Blitz might become, if he gave in to his worst instincts. That is why he is the character physically threatening Stolas's life and calling him out on his privilege at the same time:
Striker: YOU. Don't get to talk over me! I don't have to listen to your bullshit! All you royals ever do is try to talk over us!
He challenges Stolas to see the darkness in Blitz he keeps ignoring. Moreover, Striker's attempt on Stolas only works because Blitz himself does not warn Stolas, believing that with his powers the goetia can easily survive an imp's attack:
Blitzo: Stolas got what? How?… He can get hurt?
In short, Striker is a key character for both Blitz and Stolas. That said, he does foil also Moxxie and Millie. (Which is why they get to fight him twice, just like Blitz - they lose the first time and win the second).
In his debut episode, he is openly juxtaposed to Moxxie. He is the ideal imp, the one Millie's parents would have liked their daughter to marry. He is a great farmer and an even better fighter. He is strong and charming and easily defeats Moxxie at everything, even music. That said, it turns out Moxxie is a far better person and husband and gets to call out Millie's parents on it, gaining their respect in the process:
Moxxie: Y'know, she protected me. And maybe I'm not a strong beefy dickhead, but Millie has the strength enough for both of us! You two are getting on her case about being hurt by a psychopath you hired?! Shaaaaame on you!
Ghostf***ckers instead makes Striker and Millie's foiling obvious. Both are wrathian assassins, who work as goons for others:
Millie: Not exactly a shortage of imp assassins in Wrath. Reputation is everything.
Here lies Striker's contradiction. He keeps saying he hates the hierarchy, but in the end he acts exactly as society expects him to:
Stolas: Well, you seem to be forgetting; you are working for a royal right now!
He hates royals, but takes orders from them. Even when he decides to leave Wrath, he goes to Greed, so exactly where "imps able to make a buck are welcome", according to Millie:
Crimson: HEY! Hick-for-hire! I said watch 'em, not fuck 'em. Keep ya hands off the merchandise!
See? Striker acts like some big shot, but in the end he operates within the system, rather than subverting it. Both Fizz and Blitz are far more successful at overcoming the hierarchy than he is. Fizz does not take orders from royals, but becomes a romantic and business partner to one. Blitz does not resort depending on royals or imps for his job. Rather, he takes orders only from himself and invents a new business.
Striker says not everyone gets the chance to live in Pride:
Striker: Look. Not every ring is some fancy-ass city, with some fancy-ass mansion, that only fancy-ass royals get to live in. Some of us have hard lives to live.
And yet, he is offered it by Blitz, just like Millie:
Blitzo: Isn't this guy great? It's gonna be nice workin' with him. Yeaaaah! I asked him if he wants to join I.M.P.
If he had joined IMP, he could have found a family, a strong business partner and could have embraced a new life. He did not and became IMP's enemy instead. On the contrary, Millie did and is now a happier and better person.
WHAT ABOUT LOONA?
Tumblr media
Personally, I think Loona is gonna be key in Blitz's development, as both her past, arc and relationship with her dad are very well set up. If Moxxie focuses on relationships, whereas Millie on classism, Loona will probably offer a synthesis of both themes:
Loona is Blitz's adoptive daughter and the first member of his new found family.
Loona is a hellbound, so a demon even lower than imps.
I am very curious to see how her story develops and I am looking forward to discover more about her past and to see if her foiling with Bee gets explored more. After this episode I am more curious than ever!

Note
an anonymous asker already said this on chais blog but its worth mentioning again since someone brought it up - what stolas did in apology tour is a technique often used by narcissists called "triangulation". simplypsychology.org states: triangulation in relationships refers to a communication pattern where one person (stolas) avoids direct interaction with another (blitz), instead using a third person (verosika) as an intermediary. this can create misunderstandings and conflicts, often serving as a manipulative strategy to control or gain power. triangulation typically entails a dynamic where the victim (blitz) and persecutor (stolas) engage in conflict while a third party (verosika) assumes the role of the rescuer. (ex; "how you doin', baby? you holding up okay?" "tell us all about your experience with blitzo. that cock sucking motherfucker! c'mon baby, speak from the heart, we all here know how you feel." (they dont know that they dont,) followed by stolas not truthfully going into details and claiming that he thinks "it ("it", being their full moon deal,) didnt mean a thing at all" when yeah, i sure hope your "favors for favors", your "transactional fucking" DIDNT mean a thing romantically, thats a weird and entilted thing for him to think.) this creates a communication triangle, often exacerbating conflicts and misunderstandings, serving to control or divert attention from the core issues. (the full moon deal,) it is problematic because a third person (verosika acting like stolas has been severely wounded by blitz when the reverse is far more true,) becomes intertwined in a situation that should be between the two individuals participating in the conflict. (again, the full moon deal,) it is a strategy emotionally unstable people can use to influence a situation. triangulation is often an attempt for individuals to try and possess control of a situation (stolas being confronted on his behavior by blitz directly and him understandably demanding confrontation because he feels he deserves it after yeah, like he says, everything stolas has put him through in s1, and even s2 tbh,) and seek advantage from it in the form of loyalty or attention from the other parties. (which in this case is literally just the anti blitz party,) it brings difficulties and confusion because too many people (again, anti blitz party,) can get involved, raising the risks for the occurrence of harmful behaviors. (these people festering on their feelings EVERY YEAR on halloween, literally making pinatas, voodoo dolls, an entire cake of blitz they mutilate, which is all portrayed as a rightfully batshit crazy thing to do, but also not towards the end of the episode when they need to make blitz seem like a dick who actually deserves this treatment,) if verosika wouldve been disgusted and been able to relate to feeling used like she felt used by blitz for sex due to the lack of reciprocation, just imagine how an entire party of people who felt used by blitz would feel if they knew about the full moon deal, ESPECIALLY since theyre all imps of some kind. stolas is the real motherfucker here, and that bird wouldve been burned like a goddamn walmart roisterer chicken if at any point blitz had revealed himself on stage at the party, which would be more in character then him letting his self loathing get the better of him when it comes to stolas, and said, "YOU shouldnt even be allowed to be here, bitch! why do you count as an ex when THE ONLY THING we did was FUCK, because YOU MADE ME FUCK YOU?! how the FUCK was i supposed to keep my business afloat without your fucking fancy ass book that let me up to the human world?! THATS why you made me pound your pathetic bird pussy on the full moon every month! and now you wanna act like what we had was actually a RELATIONSHIP?! WELL, FUCK YOU!"
Reading this really makes me want Stolas as a villian that IMP can overcome and kill. Stolas is such a professional victim that it’s not even funny anymore. I really wish Blitz said that instead of watching Stolas, Vortex, and Verosika sing how Blitz is a motherfucker.

HELLUVA BOSS DEVIATING FROM ITS ORIGINAL PREMISE FUNDAMENTALLY DESTROYED THE SHOW
So, it has already been discussed many times in HB critical community that HB deviated from its premise after S1 and that anyone with an once of media literacy can tell that you can't describe it in any way other than horrible writing.
Now, I'm going to ask you this for a second - imagine that you haven't seen S1, the pilot or read the premise of Helluva Boss anywhere. Imagine that you watch all (available) episodes of S2 and are asked to write a premise about it on some movie review website. How would you briefly describe what happens in S2?
Oh, you can't or are having major trouble doing it? Don't worry, you are not media illiterate, my friend. That is the case because IT'S LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO TELL WHAT HELLUVA BOSS IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT ANYMORE.
There are many flaws that your writing could possess - inconsistent characterization, too fast/slow pacing and so on. However, they do not automatically derail your work. It is very much possible to recognize those faults, learn from them and do better in the future.
But the premise of your work is its literal BONES. You build up the plot and characters based on it. You just can't expect your show to be good, if you tear out its basis. Of course the pacing, character development and how plot points are wrapped up in HB is horrible - how can anything function without the very thing that holds it all together?
And I MEAN that the premise of HB completely disappears, not shifts or changes. Like, seriously, what the hell is HB supposed to be about now?
Stolitz?
Their interactions indicate zero meaningful development and are tediously spaced out to the point that it's hard to care about their relationship. It is made even worse by the fact that Stolas, just like in S1, still keeps pressuring Blitzo, despite him being clearly uncomfortable.
Blitzo making amends with people he hurt?
Even ignoring S1's nonexistent buildup of this plotline (Blitzo looking at photos on his phone doesn't count, since it's literally the ONLY moment that barely suggests it), there's no buildup in S2 either, when it comes to both Barbie and Fizz. It is certainly not helped by the fact that Barbie just vanishes after Unhappy Campers and Blitzo and Fizz's beef is resolved in a single episode.
Any other plotlines of S2, like Fizz's job, Crimson, Striker, or Stolas and Stella's separation are just too small or insignificant to be considered part of the supposed premise, INCLUDING the assassination business, which arguably takes up the least amount of time of aspects of the show listed.
It's no surprise that Helluva Boss is slowly crumbling. At this point, it's just a paralysed zombie who completely forgot what it once was. And it's damn sad to watch, because the show comforted me during some dark times and, despite Viv being an awful person, I truly hoped for HB to be great.

Am I the only once who thinks that the whole trial for Blitzo is... Kinda unnecessary? Like... Do we really need all the Deadly sins to appear for a trial? Cause I feel like this matter should only concern the Goetia demons only...
Maybe Im dumb or skipped some world building (if there is any that is...) cause, stealing a goetia demon's book? Yeah thats treason but does it need to involve the deadly sin?
Isnt there a hierarchy in the goetia demons as well? Why not introduce Paimon again?
It's just a little gripe from me personally. Like I said I might be dumb but this trial should only involve the goetia demons.......
Oh no, you’re not dumb! I agree with you!
What’s wilder though is that the trial could’ve been justified if HB used any of the possibilities introduced in its own setups??? Like:
Hell has a strict social structure — Blitzø is at the bottom of the structure — he enters into an illicit agreement with someone near the top — he and his business flourish and gain notoriety — the business draws attention from the top — I.M.P. break rules by getting seen by humans and causing widespread panic with their murder sprees which has huge ramifications for Hell and everyone in it, so requires intervention
OR
— Stolas is assassinated and I.M.P. is implicated by Stella Goetia while being in possession of the grimoire and the offense is made worse when they are framed with angelic weaponry, leading to the fear of an uprising by the lower class
OR
— I.M.P. is implicated in the trial for aiding and abetting of class warfare by A Sin when Fizz and Asmodeus are outed and Fizz is connected to I.M.P. after giving them access to the Asmodean crystals
These could all have occurred in the show as a series of escalating events that would require the Sins to step in. And it would’ve been a really fun ride! But the show was dismantled for a ship, so it now has no reason to involve the Sins other than to squeeze out as much melodrama as possible for that ship’s sake.
Also if it was a trial with just the Ars Goetia, Paimon attending would be a given and Jonathan Freeman ain’t cheap.

Is the knowledge of magic gatekept by Hell's elite?
Time for another shitpost speculative analysis. And, suddenly, no conclusions—just some facts I’ve gathered about the topic from the show and a bunch of questions for you. Because this time, as much as I would’ve liked to deliver some hot details, there isn’t enough information yet, and I prefer not to claim anything without having at least some degree of certainty in it.
So let's just talk and make some fun, semi-educated guesses, shall we?
Yesterday, @tealvenetianmask released a wonderful post about Blitzø and his insecurity regarding his intelligence. Give it a read—it's a topic that isn’t discussed enough. One of the points raised was his limited access to education, which made me think.
Grimoire.
An infinitely powerful artifact possessed by Stolas Goetia is central to the series, at least before The Full Moon episode, as it is the only way for Blitzø to access the mortal realm. While it serves its own purposes for bringing together—and ultimately breaking apart—Stolas and Blitzø, it also has many interesting properties and details that allow us to speculate on magic as a whole.
It made me think: Who theoretically can use this grimoire or other spell artifacts? Why is it that no one but Stolas is permitted to use it? Are there genetic and/or biological reasons for this, or is the restriction societally driven?
Namely, would all hell beings be able to use magic if given the chance to learn it?
Let’s examine the evidence we have and try to answer at least some of these questions.
Clue one: Using the grimoire by anyone other than Stolas is illegal
It is clearly stated by Stolas himself in these two episodes.
Tumblr media
You know, I have been... permitting you to access the mortal realm less than... legally for quite some time now? S1EP1, Murder Family, 8:31
Tumblr media
You will be able to go anywhere you want in the human realm without fear of consequence. Without breaking demon law. You no longer need my grimoire. S2EP8, The Full Moon, 19:05
The question is, why? We know it’s not crucial to have Goetia blood to channel magic from the grimoire—Loona has read spells from it, as we'll discuss later.
Could the reason be that the Goetia family wants to keep their powerful artifacts a secret and maintain their hold on power?
Clue two: Magic books are written in runes
The grimoire and Stolas's book about Asmodean crystals are written in runes, suggesting the potential existence of a language barrier when sharing magic-related knowledge.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Left - S1EP6, Truth Seekers, 17:44 Right - S2EP1, The Circus, 19:45
It is oddly convenient if you want fewer people to understand the sacred information you wish to keep to yourself.
Clue three: Stolas does not need his grimoire to cast spells from it
It is briefly discussed in the Seeing Stars episode.
Tumblr media
[Blitzo]: No chance you can conjure us a couple of those, can ya? [Stolas]: Sadly, no. I'm afraid without my grimoire, my powers are just a tad limited in the human world. [Blitzo]: What, you can't memorize your fucking spells? [Stolas]: Oh, your memory's so great?  S2EP2, Seeing Stars, 6:33
See, Stolas does not deny Blitzø's assumption and gets annoyed when his memory is belittled. Therefore, I believe we can safely deduce that it is indeed a matter of only remembering the necessary chants to cast a spell. It is still possible that the artifact holds power on its own and Stolas needs it to access magic in the mortal realm, but it doesn't seem like the absence of the book prevented him from making two poor little human beings soil their little fancy trousers.
Tumblr media
S1EP6, Truth Seekers, 19:11
And he does not need the book to summon the portals, it is seen multiple times throughout the series.
Tumblr media
S1EP6, Truth Seekers, 20:10
Not mentioning him performing small magic tricks quite regularly:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Left - S2EP6, Oops, 7:42 Right - S2EP8, The Full Moon, 2:00
So, can we make a conclusion the grimoire is not so unique after all, if to memorize all the spells? Not sure, because... okay, I promise, we will get back to it later.
Clue four: Loona can use the grimoire, even though she is a lower-class demon
And she can shapeshift without any artifacts, which might suggest she has more magical abilities than other members of I.M.P. Her ability to read runes is also noteworthy.
Tumblr media
Shhhit! I can't... I can't read the spell in this light! I can't see dick! S1EP6, Truth Seekers, 17:43
Do you think she could become a skilled magician with proper education? It's quite impressive that she knows the rune language to begin with, given her origin!
Clue five: Blitzø, Millie, and Moxxie are never seen using the book
Is this accidental, or are they simply unable to use the book? If the latter, is it because they are physically incapable of channeling magic (e.g., due to being imps), or is it because they don’t understand the language of the spells?
I noticed them bantering about replacing Loona because of her horrible attitude once or twice (such as at the beginning of the Seeing Stars episode). Does this mean they could take on her responsibility of opening the portal, or is it just bluff? There’s no way to know for sure.
Tumblr media
If I'm so terrible, how about you just grow a pair and replace me? S2EP2, Seeing Stars, 3:03
Clue six: The I.M.P. crew is never shown trying any spells from the book other than those for portals
I.M.P. never tries any spells other than opening the portal, which seems strange, especially since they could have used disguise spells, as mentioned earlier in clue three.
Is it because they physically can’t use other spells, or is it an unspoken rule not to meddle with a powerful artifact whose true implications they might not fully understand?
Clue seven: Without the grimoire, the I.M.P. crew is not able to access the mortal realm
And it is posed as a big deal—the whole Season 2 setup revolves around Stolas freeing Blitzø by calling off the transactional agreement and providing a grimoire replacement, the Asmodean crystal.
Tumblr media
Official Music Video, Just Look My Way, 0:11
This seems to contradict clue three. Perhaps there are specifics we have yet to learn or understand.
Why? If simply remembering the spell is enough, they would only need the book once. If Loona can read runes, she could write the spells down when Blitzø stole it, making the entire ordeal unnecessary.
Maybe, just knowing the spell isn’t enough to use it without the book. Maybe, special education or training is needed to prepare the body for it. Or, maybe, being born into royalty is a prerequisite for channeling magic without artifacts.
Maybe, if not conclusions, let's at least make a guess?
So, here’s everything I’ve gathered on the matter.
Without additional information, it seems a bit contradictory, and I admit, I sometimes get the feeling these might be plot holes left because this isn’t the focus of the story. This would be surprising though, as the show is usually very detailed and well-built in terms of worldbuilding.
I’m going to try to fill in these gaps with my speculations, just for fun. Please don’t consider this as making any claims; it’s more about me engaging in some mental gymnastics because I’m a lore geek and love figuring out how the fictional world works in media.
So, my take on whether the knowledge is gatekept or not: in short, it is.
If not so short:
I speculate (like highly speculate, because I have no proof), that any hellbeing could theoretically learn and use magic. It might require certain genetic preconditions, natural talent, and extensive training, but success is possible to varying degrees;
Artifacts assist in channeling magic for those who are untrained—like the grimoire helps the I.M.P. crew open portals;
Magic knowledge is encoded in runes to complicate the learning process for those not taught in it;
This knowledge is kept secret and shared only within royal circles, with different branches having their own secret techniques and specialties;
There are also laws prohibiting the sharing of this knowledge with lower-class demons.
Why? It’s simple—power wouldn’t be power if it could be used by just anyone. Withholding resources and granting access to it only to the wealthy is a characteristic of non-democratic regimes, and, mind you, Hell is an absolute monarchy at best.
But what do you think? Share your opinion via poll, reblogs, and comments!
Instead of my usual funny giggles at the end, I’ll reiterate from my reblog yesterday:
FREE AND ACCESSIBLE EDUCATION FOR ALL
Because only by sharing knowledge and making it public can the community truly prosper.

Ghostfuckers is incredible (episode review)
Damn, they really delivered with this. Everything from the action, the animation, the horror, and especially the character writing was amazing.
For one, it gave us the first actual Millie episode and centers around a relationship she has besides Moxxie. It's focused mainly on Millie and Blitzo's friendship as well as a bit of Millie's background and way of thinking. This might have just given her the most exploration of her character than in any of her previous appearances combined.
Blitzo's character is explored greatly as well. With him coping hard after officially breaking up with Stolas, yet Stolas is barely brought up, which I like. His traumas and insecurities are shown in a horrifying light through a horrific possession scene. Finally, there's my favorite part of the episode, Millie and Blitzo's friendship. My god, this episode just made these two have such a strong and powerful emotional bond. The way it explained through Millie's flashback exactly why she values IMP so much as well as how her childhood in the Wrath Ring shaped her initially cynical attitude was really well done. And this episode emphasizes how Blitzo values Millie as his closest and best friend and how out of all of them, she is the one who's the most patient and understanding of all the friends he has. It's just so sweet to watch.
It comes as no surprise that Vivziepop did not write this episode, Brandon Rogers did. While I have many problems with Brandon as a writer and as a person, his needlessly vulgar humor is still in this episode, he absolutely knows how to write great character drama as evidenced by BRYCE. So it didn't shock me that this episode's clear focus and in-depth character exploration of Millie was done by him and not Viv, who barely or just doesn't care about Millie at all.
It also fulfills what Viv apparently wanted in Millie: Make her interesting without the need of giving her so much trauma like the others. And Brandon managed to do it. This episode finally made her an interesting character and it did so without giving her any trauma stuff.
Overall, this is easily my favorite episode of Season 2 so far and definitely the best written one. I may be critical of this series now, but I'll acknowledge when it can still be good or even great (the latter in this episode's case)

Heavenly Angel ReImagined Concepts
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Concept drawings I did for the ReImagined versions of the angels in this AU. Note: While I did take inspiration from Biblical angels for aspects of these designs, the mythology is entirely different. I labeled this as Heavenly Angel just because it’s easier to distinguish from Angel Dust when I eventually post about him.
(The first two are halves of a concept page of general angel design aspects, the drawings on paper are meant for a specific angel that is important in an episode of the Helluva Boss Rewrite. Pardon the Blitzo I drew him entirely from memory there.)
Hot take(?): I do not like the design for the Hazbin angels in the slightest- the Seraphim Sisters are fine I guess, but Adam and Lute just look like recolored Imps with those horns. The strange body shape given to Adam as well throws me off, I think there are plenty of other ways to make his robe design look a little better. That, however, is not entirely the focus of these reimagined angels (however the original Hazbin Angel designs will play a certain role in this rewrite, which will be explained below).
For more details and a full version of the split image, check under the cut!
- The angels have three different forms: their default (which resembles the ones shown here), their more Humanoid form, and their True/Powered Up form.
- Their bodies are made from a sort of liquid metallic substance, which can shapeshift and transform at will. Their ‘hair’ is the most clear example of this on their bodies in the default forms.
- The only Solid piece of their body that cannot transform is their torso, which houses the angel’s ‘core’ (that Eye shown in the image above). When they enter their Full Powered form, their torso opens up and exposes the core as the rest of their body transforms.
- An angel’s rank can be seen in the number of wings they possess on their pendent- More wings indicating a higher position.
- Their wings fold around their bodies and act as a sort of robe when not needed- that aforementioned pendent acts as a sort of ‘magic clasp’ that holds the robe in place.
- When an angel becomes corrupted or ‘falls,’ the liquids of their body begins to melt and deform them into a twisted version of themself. One can see this in the example I gave above of Adam, whose form twisted into something more akin to that of the Hazbin Angel design. Their halos also blacken when they become corrupted, and eventually will break and disappear entirely as they fall from grace.
- These Fallen Angels, while still being immortal, come to possess aspects akin to the weaknesses of mortals- that being, they can now feel pain and suffering, as well as conceive and fall ill. They fell from grace and now will suffer for the rest of eternity.
- Children of these fallen angels will often bear scars that represent ‘what could have been’ as well as possess seemingly random aspects associated with these angels. Ie. Multiple eyes, small wings decorating their limbs, melting, etc.
