My husband and I are rewatching breaking bad and we’re at the scene where Walt is under the house fixing the floor and I was like “oh my god, this reminds me of something from my childhood.” And I proceeded to tell him about how my cousin and I used to crawl around under the house all the time as kids… for fun. 🤣 and then that reminded me of how we used to “fish” for trash and lost items with wire coat hangers through the cracks in the front porch floor. Lmfao, and I was just like “damn… I’m just realizing how fucking insane and sad that sounds. We were like straight up trash rat children” 💀😭

Their dynamic ? Cruel n proud Warlord and very rebellious prize after he won a war .

In which Mac is the prize, plaything, spoils of war , who knows what or who else - big drama overall sksksk. They are just fuckin with each other literal and metaphorical sense

He really doesn't like listening to Wukong and will find any passive To avoid what Wukong wants from him. He would avoid Wukong himself included. And that's what was the problem but Wukong driven mostly by emotions (not mind , like he usually does, he still doesn't know why he can't use his mind near his warrior- ) about his lil warrior - he bit his ear to punish him .

And uh well - it didn't turn out great .

Like yeah , Mac didn't disobey him after that, that he gained, but this ear won't heal how it should and well... Sore reminder not counting Mac flinching from him if he were to touch him

Also! Yes, Yandere Wukong does know that Macaque would use his high hearing to make sure to stay away from him. This just fill his heart with more love because Macaque was LISTENING to him and him alone. It just made his heart flutter with so much love and affection for his Moonlight. Sadly yes it would scare Macaque since his hearing was always on Wukong 24/7 that he forgets to listening around and get startled by any small noise. The poor baby was always on edge when he was hiding from Yandere Wukong. 🥺

Yeah, if he lets them. I think a line from Bojack horseman, from the character Princess Caroline, sums up Wukongs mindset best.

It’s something he, sadly, shares with Mk. The fact that people downplay his intelligence doesn’t help with the slump. He works so hard only to be cut down each time. Syntax and Macaque have to practically pin him down and sit on him in order to make him rest.

It would mostly be Mac doing the pinning, since the darker simian would be more experienced. Syntax would be the one cuddling Wukong and reassuring him that those people are just the dumb ones, and that they could never understand because they could barely understand their own stupidity. (He’s not good at it, but it makes the king laugh, so it’s a win)

Erlang doesn’t really know what to do, but he’s there for moral support.

Erlang: “I had always assumed people were exaggerating. All your plans against the Jade Emperor were too calculated to be mere coincidence.”

Wukong, nested between Syntax and Macawue: “Really? 🥺”

Honestly, LMK turns the plot on its head so often that I've never voiced this due to the Macaque hate club, but legit. What if Wukong killed Macky trying to save him because as we've seen with MK, he can use that amount of force, that same line, trying to keep someone from certain doom, so why not an out of control monkey with hijacked powers? Macky just. doesn't remember. but that might even be plot relevant since Wukong also doesn't remember things, supposedly. *stares at Nine.* He might've never done anything to Tripitaka and friends, I mean, current Macky has never even SAID anything about hating those guys, heck. He out right SAYS the Monk was good for Wukong and he was allegedly killed AFTER the journey, even if the friendship ties between them never ended afterwards, I honestly struggle to see Macky even being angry enough to want to "save" Wukong as he never did before to just.....be so crazy about it to the point Wukong needs to kill him over it. He'd stand down, he WOULD listen to reason, right? Unless if something else was going on? There'd have to be some other trigger for him to just go off like that, as for all these memories. I bet the "he" Nines was talking about could have been the Demon King of Confusion. You can really make up some fun new powers there, the guy's the first villain ever in JTTW, it's kind of poetic, and also. "Demon KING." Sure, good foe for the Monkey King. They can give him the LBD treatment in raising the prestige.

What if Wukong killed Macky trying to save him[…]?

this has, honestly, been my own theory for what went down since i started lmk. like i knew they would be vague about Wukong and Mackoach’s circumstance because, you know, Wukong did a murder in jttw and this is a kid show intended for an audience of 8-10 year olds. and that kind of topic is a doozy to do right in media (Western media especially).

anyway, by s3, i was under the impression that Macky assumed Wukong killed him final blow style, but Wukong actually left him incapacitated enough for him to admit defeat (and maybe, possibly leaving him for dead, oblivious to the fact that Mac might be too weak to use his shadow powers) because of how much lmk utilizes unreliable narratives. but then, watching Wukong’s and MK’s fight really solidified that original theory of mine. when Mackintosh frees Wukong from his memories in 5x07 (also jfc Wukong literally spent a whole season trapped in his memories and has to do it all over again, my poor babygirl ;-; he’s exhausted!!!!) Wukong looks horrified.

STOP MAKING HIM RELIVE HIS PAST HE ISNT OVER IT AT ALL AND HOLDS TO MUCH GUILT AND REGRET (pls continue!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏 put him through the ringer!!!!! make him snap por favor 🥺🥺🥺🥺)

clearly, that fight is considered one of Wukong’s deepest and darkest memories (which were what the 100-eyed Demon was looking for. because he likes the good tea like me frfr) and doesn’t like looking back at. in a way, it makes sense with how much distance he placed between himself and Macody in 1x09 (almost….indifferent one might say 👀 or trying to act apathetic about it which comes off annoyed…..ain’t that interesting?)

but yeah. good food for thought :3

The frigid nighttime air felt like a punch in the chest with each heavy inhale, and MacCready's knuckles cracked painfully as he clung to the railing of the porch outside your Sanctuary home.

"This has gotta stop." He whispered, tilting his head back to look up towards the stars. Puffs of his warm breath spilled out into the air, shielding the bright, shimmering speckles from his sight with the haze. The wetness in his eyes only made matters worse, his unshed tears cooling with each moment he spent outdoors, away from his warm place in bed beside you.

He couldn't go back in yet, though. Couldn't wake you when you slept so peacefully. Between the two of you, your pasts, your traumas, your loss... Deep sleep was hard to come by, and he couldn't steal even one precious wink from you, on account of his own nightmares.

Especially when it was the same as always.

There were variations, sure, but this one... This one had left him not only with the overwhelming panic and grief, as his memories of that fateful night with Lucy and Duncan always did, but it left him with a crippling guilt that stuck deep in his gut. It was uncomfortable, churning out memories and wishes, thoughts and hopes all surrounding the son he hadn't seen in... over a year now. If the letters were sound, then Duncan was alright, the cure was beginning to work, but still, he was too weak to travel, they'd said. On the surface, he was getting better, but healing was exhausting work, especially for someone so young.

And what the heck was he doing? It had been over 200 years, and you had seen your son more recently than he had.

That was just sad. It was pitiful.

Mac shook his head as his hands turned numb where they grasped at the wooden railing.

"Poor excuse for a father..." He growled through his teeth, a disgusted look surely hanging from his face as he thought of his priorities, of his actions these past couple months.

Months.

I could've been there and back twice by now, if I'd left right after sending the medication.

What am I doing?

"You okay?" Your sleepy voice sounded from the threshold of the front door as you peeked out at him.

MacCready almost jumped at the sound, too lost in his own thoughts to have noticed your approach.

"Y-yeah." He stammered out, "All fine. Just... Y'know."

"Yeah." You said, your voice sympathetic. Knowing.

He continued looking out into the darkness, towards the rest of Sanctuary. Then he felt your arms around him.

Your chin rested on his bony shoulder as your hands wrapped warmly around his waist, causing a chill to run up his spine from the sudden temperature change.

"Don't wanna talk about it?" You asked him softly.

MacCready shook his head before allowing it to tip sideways, bumping affectionately into yours.

"Mkay. Well, I'm here for you, either way."

His breath released shakily at that, and MacCready closed his eyes, leaning into the feeling of your warmth against him.

"I know, Sole..."

He almost left the next bit unvoiced, the thought that was lingering at the front of his mind, but it slipped through like water between grasping fingers. "But maybe you shouldn't be."

"Hm?" Your head snapped backwards, forcing his own to jerk as it lost the point of contact on which it was resting.

"I don't know..." He continued, "I just... I know you're here for me. You're here for me, and you're there for your son, even after everything, after 200 years and him being older than you now, even with the Institute and all the crappy stuff they've done, you still talk to him, still see him. A-and you're there for Preston, and Cait and Curie and Nick, with all of their own problems, and with all of your own still, too, and just... How the heck do you do it, baby? When I can't even-- I've only got one person, or um, two now, I guess, but even when it was just Duncan..."

His sleep-addled brain could hardly keep up with his mouth as it poured the thoughts from his head unfiltered.

"Woah, Mac, sweetie, just slow down." As if to prove a point, you slowly unraveled your arms from around him, encouraging instead, for his body to face yours as your hands grasped his own. They were icy to the touch, and you rubbed your fingers over them to bring the feeling back.

"Duncan knows how much you're doing for him. He knows that you had to leave in order to help him. And I know, too. I know how much you care about him, I see it every day, hear about him every day, see the way he makes you light up. Even just the mention of him. And me? You wanna know how I help so many others, how I was able to stay strong as I went into the Institute, how I made myself cope with Shaun being so... well, not what I expected?"

MacCready shrugged at your question, ocean-blue eyes still downcast.

You released his hands, moving to hold the sides of his face between your palms, pouring emphasis into the tender caress.

"It was you, Robert. I saw you, struggling for everything out here in the Commonwealth, scraping together caps and false leads on a medication that maybe didn't even exist, all for Duncan's sake. I saw you missing him every day, but still working tirelessly to save him, to see him again one day. And then, even after you mailed the cure out, you put that off."

He flinched at that statement, but your hands stayed glued to his cheeks.

"You put that off to help me, and I... It couldn't mean more to me, okay? I never would've... Seeing the way you always thought about Duncan, with every decision you make, the way your love for him bleeds into everything you do, even with how far away he is, that made me want to be a better parent to Shaun. Whether he was the baby I remembered, or the child I saw in Kellogg's memories, or the older man he turned out to be, I wanted to be there for him the way I saw that you were there for your boy."

You noted the way his lip quivered, the way his eyebrows drew together beneath his sleep-mussed hair, and felt relief flowing through you at the thought that your words were getting through to him.

"You inspire me, Mac." Your thumb wiped away the lone tear that rolled down his cheek. "Every day, you make me want to be better, and you've helped me with... everything, more than you could know."

As though one of you had offered it aloud, both you and MacCready leaned into each other at the very same time, falling into another warm embrace.

"I was so lost out here in this new world, until I found you. I wouldn't be half of who I am now, without you being there for me." You told him with a sniffle, your voice heavy with emotion.

"Okay, okay, lady/man! You can stop now." Your partner chuckled tearily, his chest trembling against yours. "I'm already crying, you don't need to keep droning on."

Your shoulders shook as you returned his laugh, still holding onto him tightly.

"I didn't mean to make you cry, I just wanted to tell you the truth."

"'Didn't mean to make me--' okay, yeah, whatever you say, Sole."

You giggled again, before pulling away.

His eyes were startling, even in the darkness of the late night. The tears brought out their sheer, sapphire vibrance, and you found yourself lost, awash in them as he looked at you with such fondness.

"Thank you, though. It really... I needed to hear it. My dream, just made me feel like shi-- ahem, like crap."

You nodded knowingly at that.

"You miss him. I think you're just trying to compensate it for it when you're asleep."

"Maybe." He shrugged. "I do miss the little rascal... But we'll see him soon, right?"

You smiled sadly, grabbing one of his hands with your own again as you nodded vigorously to him.

"You just say the word, baby. We'll go tomorrow, if you want."

He grinned, broad enough that his crooked teeth peeped out from between his lips.

"Tomorrow, eh?"

"That's what I said, right?"

"Sure is..." With that, Robert leaned forward, pressing a light kiss to you briefly. "I love you, you know that?"

Your eyes shone as you looked into his, seeing his own truth reflected there, and you nodded to him.

"I love you too." You echoed sweetly, "Now, c'mere, you. Let's get back to sleep. Big day tomorrow, after all."

You started pulling him along with you as you stepped through the front door and back into the house.

"Sleep? After all that? You're crazy."

Though he couldn't see it, you rolled your eyes at him playfully.

"Okay, maybe not sleep. But... cuddling, then. At least."

"Oh yeah, I can get on board with that."

@bb-enablefreebuild it's true, but asa says it himself, "I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I have everything a person could want and a better family than some could ever imagine - but it’s not enough for me. I don’t know why. I want to be happy, but I don’t know how." it was important for me to include that part in there, because that has nothing to do with finn – well, only a little bit in that he knows he can come across as ungrateful given that his family is incredibly supportive and some people's families, like finn's, are the opposite. otherwise, this is entirely centered around asa's internal feelings. he's had depression nearly his entire life, it's just that when finn is around he's able to find reasons to take care of himself (going outside for long walks, sleeping regularly, paying attention in class because finn tells him to, taking his meds, etc.) and without finn there to ground him, asa is falling apart for more reasons than one. so yes it's the heartbreak of losing your first love, but it's more than that for him. it's losing the primary reason for living in the moment and looking forward to the future :(

he will be soooooooo pissed :( we'll have to wait and see if asa tells him the truth (or the full truth) about how he got to this point... especially after everything asa said in this post; he KNOWS finn wouldn't approve of any of his actions thus far, but he keeps digging his grave deeper and deeper because he's already gone too far, he's already broken finn's trust and he can't leave things like this now :(

I’m sorry I’ve been so bad at answering asks. I promise I’ll answer a couple I’ve let gather dust in my inbox soon!

But when it comes to my all-time favorite episode, it’s really difficult to pick just one. There are so many good ones, and so many that have had a profound impact on me.

But I’ll choose just one anyway.

It’s The Laser-Inth, which I’m sure is not a surprise to those who know me.

I adore this episode for so many reasons, and it’s definitely my favorite Bob and Gene bonding episode. It’s so nice seeing just how good of a father Bob is. Even though it’s his birthday (I always need to emphasize this) and he was so excited to see this performance, nothing is more important than his son. NOTHING.

And when Gene ultimately changes his mind, does he get upset for having wasted all that money for nothing? No. This is Robert Belcher Jr. we’re talking about. This man freaking SNEAKS BACK IN so the two of them can watch the climax of the show. If that’s not dedication, then I don’t know what is. Plus, if memory serves me correctly, he paid even more money to get back in.

This episode is such a comfort one for me. It feels like snuggling into warm blankets after being outside on a cold day. It’s my mac n’ cheese or ice cream after a breakup. It’s just endlessly rewatchable for me. I love seeing these two bond and end up having a great time at the show. They get legitimately closer after this episode, and you can tell. And I adore that.

Also, can we talk about how adorable Bob’s genuine love for Zentipede is? It’s like his love for Cake, it’s amazing.

He’s so excited, bless him.

And, one aspect of the episode I enjoy quite a bit that I don’t talk about enough is the subplot! Of course, Bob and Gene’s main plot is the star of the show, but I think the subplot is quite sweet as well. It’s so kind of Tina to agree to let Louise keep the doll even though she’s terrified. Poor girl! But Louise values her sister over the doll, so she ultimately decides to leave it behind. I love it.

This post is getting way too long, but I love this episode so much. It means so much to me 😭💛

Learned a bit of everything from your team with SHIELD. The leadership and bonding from Coulson, the flexibility of Daisy (but the name of Skye is cooler, you think, more hacker vibe), the kicks and punches from May, the brainiac vibe from Fitz-Simmons, and a shotgun-axe from Mac (Well, you had it custommade for your size and grasp). Hell, even a few words of Spanish from Yo-yo.

Also you promised yourself, never fall into an office romance like Hunter and Barbara.

And that's until, whoops, the Avengers Initiative.

You can't help but bursting out a damn fit of giggles after his not-so-funny jokes. Your heart beat quickens everytime he mentions your name. And you DO NOT have a poster of him bought from the Smithsonian, that is, may or may not stashed in the back of your wardrobe.

Basically, your crush is painfully obvious to a couple of close friends.

But you hold it together during missions. You try your best to outgun and outwit the arms dealers and universe-annihilating psycopaths. The giggles and grins only appear behind close doors and, mostly, on your own.

Natasha calls you adorable when she approaches you about your crush, reminding you that in your line of work, any day could well be your last day.

You simply tell her that it's a harmless crush, and you wouldn't want office romance either way when you can still ogle a bunch of hot agents instead of only one. It's a lie, she could tell, so could you.

Yet this one time a few months later when you forgot your files in the briefing room and went back to get it. Before stepping into the room, you accidentally overheard two men talking.

"So you're saying you have absolutely no thoughts over her?" Sergeant Barnes quipped up, adding your name at the end of the question just to be certain.

"No." Replied Captain Rogers calmly, adding, "She is charming, witty, funny, laughs at every poor attempt of my jokes. The best right-punch I've seen from an agent and sure, that is the least attractive thing in my mind - what the hell do you think, jerk? Of course I am into her!"

I don't know what I did to deserve this, but I-- *resumes giggling and kicking feet*

You're giving me tooooo much credit of what I could learn and how badass I could be 😭 but a girl's gotta try if she wants to be an Avenger.

Also I would so totally tell myself an office romance was a terrible idea and forbid myself from even looking too much - HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT?? Am I that obvious good girl goody two shoes and sticker for rules?

But Then. Of course. Then this wild MF walks in and-

...yeah.

I will most definitely giggle at even lame jokes, because his eyes light up so much, be it laughter or mischef when he makes them and he. is. just. so. pretty. And kind. And strong. And smart.

I'd probably squeal but managed to muffle the sound upon hearing that, but would stand frozen when they walk out and it might be hard to tell who is more O_O - me or Steve 😂 But I totally see Bucky patting his shoulder wth a smirk, because he had noticed I forgot my files and heard me coming back.

"You're welcome, punk."

And then, because I couldn't have helped listening and noticing everything, both Steve and I echo at the same time: "Jerk."
