Grief Poses - Bathroom Edition

So i’ve collaborated with Rebouks again... It is kind of an accidental collab actually. She has tons of poses and I have some too ... and we chuck all of our old stuff together to make another grief pose pack

And since Sims are the gloomiest and most emo pixels around. The bathroom seemed like the most fitting scene for more drama, sadness, howling, bawling.... and all them things that make for a good read.

There is 31 poses in this pack But 15 couple poses. It works for all base game items. We tested them with the screen showers and they are all good to go. It works for the claw base game bath and most sinks and benches. This comes with its own custom icons so its easy to find. You will need to play these in game, these are not for CAS. You will need Andrew’s Pose Player for these to work well! USE X2 TELEPORTERS WHERE YOU WANT THEM TO POSE TOGETHER. There is obviously some clipping in some of the poses which is completely unavoidable with bigger bodies and bigger clothes.

NOVEMBER & DECEMBER ROUNDUP Lately, I've been thinking about all the amazing stories and legacies that've influenced who I want to be as a writer. I realized that I wanted to share the ones that I've loved most over the past month or so, and hopefully inspire others to share what inspired them! In no particular order, here are my November and December loves.

Forever In Between (18+) by @rebouks

Forever In Between has always been one of my favorite stories on tumblr, and it's usually what I read through to get myself back in gear and inspired to write! Becca puts so much love and passion into each line-- every character is rich with humanity-- it's hard not to get swept away.

WARWICK: Chapter III (16+) by @warwickroyals

Ayanna is truly a master in storytelling, and showcases her work through the sims in a way I'd never thought possible. Reading her posts is like stepping into a film. I can't recommend it enough, especially if you love devouring stories the same way I do!

Questioning: Identity by @lotuso3o

As part of Lotus' sixth gen in their whimsy stories legacy, they crafted this gorgeous post about Mariah's gender identity. I am a huge lover of any editing style that exudes warmth, and this one wrapped me up in a cozy blanket. Lotus' post is absolute perfection, it could be its own short story.

Nightlife Series (18+) by @nightlifeseries

Everything about the Nightlife Series brings out such nostalgia in me. It reminds me of of all the late night romantic, dramatic, and wild shows that were strictly off-limits growing up. This series has twists at every corner-- there's even a YouTube series to watch, too! I absolutely love coming back to it, and can't wait to see what happens next.

@bb-enablefreebuild it's true, but asa says it himself, "I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I have everything a person could want and a better family than some could ever imagine - but it’s not enough for me. I don’t know why. I want to be happy, but I don’t know how." it was important for me to include that part in there, because that has nothing to do with finn – well, only a little bit in that he knows he can come across as ungrateful given that his family is incredibly supportive and some people's families, like finn's, are the opposite. otherwise, this is entirely centered around asa's internal feelings. he's had depression nearly his entire life, it's just that when finn is around he's able to find reasons to take care of himself (going outside for long walks, sleeping regularly, paying attention in class because finn tells him to, taking his meds, etc.) and without finn there to ground him, asa is falling apart for more reasons than one. so yes it's the heartbreak of losing your first love, but it's more than that for him. it's losing the primary reason for living in the moment and looking forward to the future :(

he will be soooooooo pissed :( we'll have to wait and see if asa tells him the truth (or the full truth) about how he got to this point... especially after everything asa said in this post; he KNOWS finn wouldn't approve of any of his actions thus far, but he keeps digging his grave deeper and deeper because he's already gone too far, he's already broken finn's trust and he can't leave things like this now :(

that tag is so funny, i wasn't even referring to myself in Sim God terms i was just mad at him as if i'm a powerless reader like the rest of you jfkjsds and YEAH poor casper :( he'll come up in one of the next posts so i don't want to say too much, but the fact that his worst fear is missing out on something important while he's away, to the extent that he's calling constantly to check on his family is so..... :(

@forgotten-pixels ahhhh i love this question, i was JUST thinking about mac while i was making vegan chili mac the other day fjkjsds i'm actually going to save this in my inbox and take some pictures for you when i have the energy because i miss mac and honey too :') they're always hanging out in the same room while i'm taking screenshots, they just NEVER make it into any good pics. it's actually a curse i swear

I'm really glad people like my fantasy sims, because I really enjoy making them, akjdadsa. And I'm also glad that my comments are fun to read! I love making both thoughtful and funny comments on people's story posts when I can, cause I know that comments are truly what makes a storyteller's world go 'round. As for cat pics... hmm... maybe I should post them more often.... My mom is looking for a 2nd kitten, so I'll have to keep you guys update on how that goes!

Alright so three different edits (of mine) I waited until I updated Sink or Swim for that cap. Sink or Swim has a lot of caps that I'm proud of, but I just love the atmosphere with Nico and Pietro between Mendel. The dramatic ceiling fan! I love it! The second is my Bad Habit lyric edit, because I was impressed at how I managed to get the lyrics and aesthetics exactly the way I wanted them to be. Lyric placement isn't always my strong suit. And my third is the Dear Diary soundtrack edit~! I never made a part two to that 😂

Becca is a big inspiration to me in how she places her dialogue, takes caps, I just love her work and it's influenced mine. But this little video is so incredible and I hate I can't just slap it onto this post. The time progression is so good showing the differences in lighting. The way the room goes from grungey to more aesthetically pleasing. People can do incredible things with this game I swear.

When this was updated I remember thinking, "HOW did she do this!? How did she get this looking so FLAWLESS?!" color is one thing (and it's very on point) but the transparency! The emotions I imagine Ghost Elliot to be having. It's fantastic, and I hope one day I can pull something off like this in an edit.

Dreams of the Sea • Rosie Memorial Art Gallery, Sable Square, Brindleton Bay • Nov.26-Dec.18 The Rosie Memorial Art Gallery presents its last exhibition of the year: Dreams of the Sea, by young artist Noah Finch. The exhibit centers around the beautiful yet menacing aura of the sea, the paintings reflecting its eerie elegance and deathly charms, heightened by the masterful watercolour technique of the painter. Evening showings feature haunting piano or violin performances by the artist himself, complementing the various compositions of the exhibition. Noah Finch, native of the Bay, studied art at the University of Britechester and has known a steady rise in popularity since his graduation. The exhibition is on until December, 18th, evening showings are scheduled every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 6pm.

SERIES

Arkhelios, the iconic drama series, has been renewed for another season! Will Melvin's murder investigation finally reach its conclusion? Will the different resurrections around town be discovered? Will Abe and Roman's relationship survive college life? Whose secrets will finally be revealed by local gossip queen Alex? While we wait for all these questions (and more) to be answered next season (or not), why not binge the whole series again on potentialfate-sims.tv? Hey Becca,

Oh my! 🥺! You're super sweet to me! Thank you so much for your sweet ask and that you have me on your mind🥺🥺. I adore you ❤️ and your legacy my dear! But to answer your question I think I can relate to two OCs of mine, and here is why.

Even tho I created other OCs first like Cloude, Amara (Teylia), and Hara - who are my core OCs my faves are some newer ones. I love them all. But I do have rather a deeper connection to two newer ones. I simply can't get enough of 'em.

First of all, there is THANE: He is a very cheerful, creative, artistic, and super charming soul. He loves to dive deep into thoughts and analyze them. As a very loyal bean, he values truth over lies. Thane loves coffee and Oreo cookies (we share the same passion😆) Most of all he appreciates small gestures. Him and me? Have a TONNNN of things in common. I would even go that far as to say - he is my counterpart. So yeah feel very deeply connected to my Thane babe. I would kiss him simply because I love him so freakin' much 🥺 and I think he is a keeper. I can't stop staring at him, such a babe! 🥵🤤😌😍

And then there is AURORA: She is cool and does stuff I wish I would do. She enjoys life to the fullest. Regardless of her up and downs with her "affairs" and failures in life. She knows that she is beautiful, but somehow it seems that nobody loves her for who she really is. Everybody tells her how awesome and beautiful she is but nobody wants to be IN a relationship with her or give her a chance to grow. Also, she always gets the wrong guys - but maybe because she is simply into the bad-boy type? 🤔 She claims she does not have a type but in reality, she has. 🙄 Aurora needs to break up her pattern and open her eyes to those who could make her happy. Seeing her suffering kinda breaks my heart for her, cause she has it all to be a cool love worth staying a lifetime with.🥺🥺🥺

So i’ve wanted to collaborate Rebouks for a while... and since we both are story writers and have literally thousands of poses hanging about, we decided to put together a Grief Posepack!

I swear Sims are literally the saddest and most sorry pixels around. There in the thick of drama, sadness, grief, worry, and all things that make for a good read.

What are their love languages? kiara is all about quality time. she loves to spend time with jace, even when they were just friends (still in that phase at the moment eheh) but she's there and she wants to be there for him. just the spending the afternoon watching a movie cuddled up on the couch is something she adores. she's very much a moment cherisher if that word even exists and my boy jace is all about the physical touch. he's a very touchy person! holding hands, giving hugs, kisses on the cheek, the little things, he enjoys being around her all of the times and showering with all types of love <3 they merge very well together imo

answering this finally after like an entire month, sorry hi!! ty for the ask :-) i'm gonna answer under the cut bc i am rambly

i definitely think i relate to all of my characters in one way or another, especially after having them so long & watching them change over time! it feels a bit like i grew up w them & they all have a lil part of me.

i probably relate to kel the most, bc he's really sensitive & kind of a crybaby & i am too. but he's also really artistic & creative! we're also both 4w5 on the enneagram!

with dhes, i would say he & i are very dissimilar upon first glance as he's a lot more aggressive & outspoken than i am. but i actually really relate to his inner turmoil & journey of self acceptance! he's also very introspective & thoughtful, even if he doesn't outwardly seem so. fun fact: i actually write from his point of view the most bc i find his perspective of the story to be really interesting & the easiest/most natural to write.

steviiiie my girl stevie. i don't pick favorites but she does have a special place in my heart (unfortunately for her, that means i pass a lot of my own issues onto her lmao but what else is writing for?) to answer your question: the dream she had as a kid was just a regular "wishful thinking" type dream, nothing prophetic! but if stevie got the chance, she absolutely would go comfort her younger self. she needed the hug :(

godddd this is so sweet, thank you so so much for taking the time to share this with me (it's not too much, it's juuust right haha) 💖 these are some of my favorite scenes i've ever worked on, so i'm really glad you like them!! it's rare that i ever look at one of my own posts and wouldn't change anything, but that's how i feel about jada & alisa's confrontation, like it literally jumped out of my brain and onto the screen exactly how i pictured it. it makes me crazyyy 🥴 i just recently re-read the stevie + truck driver story and the funny thing is, i have no memory of whatever "daddy issues tiktok trend" i was angry about, but i'm glad i wrote it. you're not alone in it being a little too relatable lol. NYC griffin!!! i miss him :( he was probably the happiest version of finn we've seen yet. at the very least, he was the version with the most freedom.
