part of mspec gay discourse that pisses me off is the use of "mspec mono" to describe mspec gays and mspec straights alike, because the whole point is that lesbian, gay, veldian, straight etc. aren't as rigid as people think, that they aren't inherently mono, but then you all turn around calling it mono again???

like the term mspec mono only makes sense for someone who's varioriented, like sexually attracted to multiple genders but romantically only to one

you're literally just also undoing queer history by erasing the fact that especially lesbianism and veldianism aren't inherently mono and always included mspecs. the very existence of mspec lesbians and veldians is proof that lesbian and veldian aren't inherently mono, but you all's need for some easy umbrella term has made you frame mono as the default again

like, a lot of mspec gays and straights aren't actually both mspec and mono, unless they're varioriented. we're literally just..mspec but also use other labels. the fact that i call myself gay doesn't make me mono. stop fucking erasing mspecness.

Felibond: an alteraffectis attraction label that describes the relationship between pair-bonded cats or the bond between a domestic cat and their owner.

I divided the seven stripes into three sections with the white lines so it would be easier to modify for oriented versions of felibond attraction. Other than that, I just tried to combine the catkin and alteraffectis flags in a way that looked good, so the colors don’t have any meaning.

Poly Veldian Flags

Based on Kenochoric's Poly Veldian flag. Poly referring to poly/ply the orientation and not polyamorous

#1: Summertime Poly Veldian

Meaning: Someone who considers themselves a poly veldian because they're equally attracted to multiple genders that are considered part of gay/veldian/vincian/turian attraction! Ex: mlm and mlnb.

#2: Autumn/Falltime Poly Veldian

Meaning: Someone who considers themselves a poly veldian because they are poly, but their attraction to genders considered part of veldian attraction is prioritized, most likely due to comfort, or because their attracted to more masc-aligned genders and others under veldian attraction than they are to strictly fem-aligned genders.

#3: Wintertime Poly Veldian

Meaning: Someone who considers themselves a poly veldian because they use the split attraction model, and are solian in one form of attraction and poly in another.

#4: Springtime Poly Veldian

Meaning: Someone who considers themselves a poly veldian because they are mspec, and refer to themselves as a gay man as an umbrella term, possibly due to general use but the reason differs from person to person

#5: Revolutionary Poly Veldian

Meaning: Someone who's reason for identifying as a poly veldian is fluid and changes. They go through the many phases of possibilities just like how the seasons gradually change as the earth revolves around the sun

#6: Equinox Poly Veldian

Meaning: Someone who's experience as a poly veldian is a mix between the different reasons already listed here. For example, an equinox poly veldian could be polysexual and veldiromantic, but also consider their veldiromantic attraction poly because it's towards several genders.

#7: Solstice Poly Veldian

Meaning: Someone who's experience as a poly veldian was not listed. I can't possibly know everything, and I encourage you to make your own seasonal terms if you want a microlabel for your experience! You're still valid even if you weren't listed.

Ply Turian: Someone who identifies as poly(sexual, romantic, etc) and a turian, or a gay man. An intentionally vague term, for a broad umbrella that community can gather under. Mostly used by multigender, genderfluid, and otherwise nonbinary individuals, though it is not a closed label. Also known as ply gay, or ply veldian.

Polyflux

Experiencing attraction to multiple genders, but not all genders, and also experiencing fluid or fluctuating attraction.

For example, a polyflux person might experience attraction to several genders at one point, fewer genders at another, and none at another. A polyflux person might also have varying preferences between the genders they're attracted to.

This word is also sometimes used in reference to gender identity, as a shortening of polygenderflux. Plyflux may instead be used for the orientation to prevent confusion.

Poly-lesbian

Someone who is both ply (e.g. polysexual, polyromantic, etc.) and a lesbian. This could mean:

They experience fluid attraction

They use the split attraction model

They're attracted to many genders, but not (binary) men
