Shadow will have to call in, he might've gotten bit in the ensuing scuffle, because he's a Werehog, too, now.

I would someday love to do an AU of Sonic Unleashed with Shadow (my favourite Sonic game and favourite character) and something like this would sooo happen. Maybe Shadow gets called in to investigate the Dark Gaia stuff?

I finally bit the bullet and quit my joooob !!! Now im gonna actually have time to rest and catch up on owed art and just fucjin sleep for 3 weeks

(And then scramble to find a job but thars for future me to worry abour)

#dw i still live w my parents and ill save my last paycheck for rent and testosterone ill be fine #but fuck im so relieved #like this job has been getting steadily worse over the past year.#it was meant to be a green/conservation based job but it ended up being 90% landscaping and garden clearances #and there was 0 communication and management and organization is fucking terrible like #its a wonder this company is still going #plus my terf coworker grinds my gears so bad i may have commited murder if i stayed any longer #the only good part of this job was my rly sweet supervisor who is also leavong at the end of the month skdjsj #hes so silly and kind and knowledgable and a bright spot in my life leo my best friend leo <3 he knows soo much about plants!!#anyway he reccomended some horticulture apprenticeships and my other supervisor mentioned an apprenticeship school type thing too #so thats what ill go for next year #so that i can actually work with plants someday. instead of hauling 2 tons of litter out of someones shed cos the owner cba #and the housing association/council refuses to do it cos its shit work #so they pass it off to us #anyway #finn.txt #im gomma be freeeee soon

im scared for them and i wont get into the details of their situation but im glad they know their way around not having the worst happen while it happens but like…. shittt dude. i cant help but still feel a little scared for them

So I've had no time to write today bc work etc etc but I've been thinking about it like All day and

I have chapter 17 all plotted out, and tbh could potentially write it in a matter of days, brain willing. It's finally back to Not action, which as fun as action is to write its also fucking Hard. So it'll be nice not having to agonize over the sound of a fucking chain (Twice) etc etc. Add in the fact that it's gonna be angsty as hell (angst is always the Easiest for me to write) & I rly think I could knock this one out quickly.

And the Great news is that. Examining the timeline and what I have planned...

Wolfwood is definitely arriving in chapter 18. And not at the end like I'd suspected. No, he's probably gonna be there towards the Start.

I've gotten through the two most difficult arcs to write for early ITNL, so the ball is really rolling now. We are Finally getting places...

#speculation nation #itnl shit #the sandsteamer and the legato & monev things were Important #and i wanted to capture them in ways that was exciting to read #and displayed the sorts of things vash is doing to Make Things Better (with varying levels of success)#plus the experience of his friendship with the girls growing... these arcs have been ESSENTIAL for the progression of their relationships #so yes early manga stuff isnt really applicable for the vw but this isnt ONLY a vw fic #it's an examination of ALL of vash's important relationships. like with the girls. and with his brother.#thats why i got the platonic tags too. #if one of the words you guess kinda make sense but is wrong then your ass is not getting that page filled in #also they made some game designs that i disagree with #actually im gonna talk about it right now in the tags #i will only be talking about the tutorial puzzle room so no spoilers #well i will be spoiling this puzzle but whatev #theres a lever and a closed door and a note next to it that says 'up = closed door. down = open door.'#the goal of this level is to figure out what the words say because its in a made up language with words represented by symbols #So naturally #you flip the lever and realize that doing so opens the door and then you can assume what the symbols mean #OH WAIT #YOU LOOK BACK AT THE LEVER AND ITS GONE BACK TO THE UP POSITION #AND THE DOOR IS STILL OPEN #so that really messes up how youre supposed to figure out the words?? like how do you know the down position is open what if someone had fl #flipped it before so down meant close because they closed it by pulling the lever down #IT JUST DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE!!!!#THEN AFTER THAT they force you to fill out the pages to get the words locked in #they dont let you proceed until you do so #so. Naturally #you assume that whenever the pages show up youre supposed to be able to figure it out at that point #which is like saying youre supposed to fill out a crewmates name on the Obra Dinn as soon as their face gets unblurred #in other words its only there because you got the smallest of hints. you are at the earliest possible point that you can figure it out on #UNREASONABLE BUT THATS WHAT IT TEACHES YOU #all in all it doesnt feel like the game was playtested by other people #plus the movement is too slow

#.pdf #rd #i was actually feeling excited to start putting some work into my aquarium hobby again after a year and a half of feeling too demoralized #(because of june 2022 when my air conditioner went out while i was away from home for a few days and i came back to 95 degree tanks-#-and a total loss of all the fish i had in them for no reason at all other than the fact that the ONE TIME my ac stopped working i was away #so i lost motivation to do aquarium stuff for ages after that. and i was just getting back into it and making plans to get more supplies etc #aaaand now it looks like im going to have to push that back a long ass while! because i noticed one of my cats has a few loose teeth and i-#-dont know how long theyve been like that and while i dont have money for this i DEFINITELY dont have the money to spend thousands later if-#-its left untreated and develops into something worse #but the cheapest place near me i can find is 50 exam fee plus 275 dental base rate plus up to 250 dollars for extractions. so. fuck me #especially if thats a per tooth extraction rate. and then including costs for bloodwork and medication and shit. god.#anyway. gonna call and ask for details about their dental rates and payment options soon i guess. wish me and oolong luck #(oolong is cat)
