Found a dried up violet in a customer return box at work, and took the liberty of decorating my pocket notebook with it.

#Paper does a job #you'd never expect the things we sometimes find in the return packages #some send back the packaging materials from items they've kept along with the return items #(with shoes and dog items that's great actually. but sometimes the amount of plastic bags torn open is just exessive)#I've found cookies. scissors. a singular kid's glove. a rock once (that I later drew eyes on after forgetting to take it out for few weeks)#a phone case #there's also been a knife more than once though not for me #a lego once #I've heard of a coworker finding a child's toy once that we sent back #and eyeglasses couple weeks ago #we usually don't send things back as we don't have the budget nor time (and I don't know if it's quite okay to look for customer info)#but sometimes exceptions have been made for important items #the flower was just nice though

I had a dream with Vasco and Machete last night, I don't remember all details, but I do remember people talking about Machete being some sort of fallen angel or something. I even saw flashes of his angelic form in between, I'll have to draw those when I get back home. It was both scary and delightful.

#aaa that sounds so poetic #and epic #and cool #you're having way nicer dreams than I do #???#answered #salem-lunaris #earlier this week I had an apocalyptic dream where earth was about to blow up and I thought “oh geez I have to warn The Dogs"#so I went to their house and this time their decor was oddly grandmacore sorta pastel and vintage and well worn #I can't recall what we talked about but Machete had just started some new meds or had some procedure done to him #he wasn't feeling himself his pupils were freakishly blown out and he couldn't walk or talk properly so they weren't planning to evacuate #Vasco dropped me off to the spaceship airport (his car was yellow)#but first we got some shady alien takeout that looked like red plastic straws and ping pong balls in a yellow toy bucket #we hugged and I boarded the dingy spaceship #and then the dream morphed into a vague retelling of that Raised by Wolves series #I felt bad about leaving them behind knowing they would get smashed to smithereens later that day

#will literally never understand why my parents thought two 70 pound dogs was a good idea #i mean i love them but it's so much harder taking them places than one medium dog #and their giant maws destroy even the most sturdy of toys #and also they like to eat granola bars and then throw up the plastic wrappers onto the floor #one time kassie ate an entire hotdog without chewing and then threw it up. they are walking idiot stomachs #im going through the cat food 5x as fast because they figured out they can bust my door open with their giant heads and eat her food #they know it's hers too they only do it when she's not near it. menaces. and they will straight up eat cat litter

Didn't nab her since we were closing but I can't get over how lalaloopsies are like ontologically perfect. shape, texture, weight, color, outfit. All the cuddly charm of a plush doll w perpetually perfectly shaped plastic. the kidcore autism hurts even me sometimes.
