I always thought it was poetic that Aang was able to stop Ozai without killing him. For one, Aang did not have to give up any of his personal and cultural values to defeat one of the people who tried to destroy them.

But also, isn’t it hilarious that Ozai doesn’t get the glory of a death like that? He’s not going to be remembered as a powerful villain who was claimed by the avatar in an epic final battle that literally leveled a forest and a rocky outcropping. No, he’s going to be remembered as a pathetic man who lost a fight to a twelve year old while trying to commit genocide at the height of his power and was stripped of his power as a result. Then, he was just forgotten. He spent the rest of his days withering away in a cell, helpless to do anything about it.

Done in Procreate entirely with the syrup brush to capture the feel of MS Paint because that’s the mood I was in lol, and only a single blend layer right at the end to harmonize the colors. Those shadows and highlights were picked entirely by hand and I feel stronger for it <3

Leo’s story intersects and is often a direct parallel with every other characters’ throughout the series, he has the most narrative points and chapters, has a POV in every single book except SON, and owns/is a catalyst for the majority of the lines in the prophecy. He built that damn warship essentially solo and was constantly isolated from the rest of the seven despite them all supposedly being on equal footing.

Gaea didn’t try to kill the other seven’s parents, Hera didn’t watch them as children despite her literally claiming Jason as a champion. Just Leo.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and if you didn’t like tsats that’s completely valid, however I truly feel like many of y’all are making shit up… because yes, the book is indeed not the best book ever written, but some of you guys just completely erase 90% of it and MAKE UP critiques abt things that are literally NOT THERE

For instance, I’ve seen many many people saying that tsats heavily suggested a “Will is trying to fix Nico” narrative and let me tell you! You need reading glasses, because that did NOT happen. One of the main points in Will’s character development was quite literally and explicitly him accepting his own darkness, and the fact that it’s okay to not always and solely be “light”. I don’t know what could possibly make y’all say otherwise when it’s not even “heavily implied” but EXPLICIT that’s what happened. There’s a very present change bwtween how Will reacts to the underworld initially (qnd I could make a whole post abt it cause y’all need to lowkey give him a break) and how he does later in the book. Or maybe I should mention the whole Aphrodite scene? Or his reaction to the cocopuffs (=literally Nico’s demons)? Or even the JOKE of the “really dark toast”??

What I love about Warframe as a newcomer is that there doesn't seem to be any sort of shipping wars or fandom discourse at all. I've been into a lot of shooters before (ie. Overwatch, Apex Legends, etc.) so Warframe is a huge breath of fresh, clean air.
