AA needs to clean house but if I were to get rid of 3 people first, it would be Patience, JJ and Asher. Think about it. Coop as annoying as she is, is Spencer’s best friend. I have my own issues with her but I don’t need Spencer to feel abandoned by another important person in his life, so she has to stay. Layla is boring as hell with this music shit but she’s basically just a love interest now anyway so once Jordan is here, she is as well. Patience has become so unbelievably insufferable that I actually hate seeing her on my screen. She’s depressing. She’s boring. She has no purpose. She brings nothing to the show. She needs to go. JJ also has no purpose. Had they kept him recurring and just brought him in for fun the way they do with Denise and the moms, then it would be fun. But they butchered his character and I have no interest in watching him get peer pressured every week or pretend to take football seriously. He needs to go. Asher is just too far removed from the plot at this point. And I actually don’t mind him and Jaymee. They kinda cute. But he’s boring now. Sorry to say. The downfall of a villain having growth in tv shows sometimes is they become boring. And that has happened to Asher. He can go and come back twice next season so the boys can babysit or something. With the amount of screentime these 3 characters get, imagine if they weren’t here and that time was replaced with actual college stuff or Spencer’s progression as an athlete. In the words of MLK I have a dream!!!!

i frequently spend several ingame days at a time doing challenges, stranger missions, or various compendium stuff for 100% completion, and i can’t help but imagine that every time john returns home he has a new, even more stupid sounding excuse for abigail as to Why.
she probably (rightfully so) asks where the hell he’s been off doing god knows what instead of Raising your son, John Marston, and he sputters some nonsense like “Sorry, darlin’, spent a few nights sleeping outside a run down fort in Lemoyne shooting birds out of the sky” or “Was watchin’ a real annoying fisherman get killed by a catfish” or “Almost fell off a cliff lookin’ for dinosaur bones for a crazy lady” and other dumb shit that no sane person would believe. but the dumbest part is that every single word of it is true and he comes home with physical evidence to back it up.

Do you think even with his spouse/partner (Cameron or the nun if they ended up together), Chase would still self-serving, putting himself first?
Absolutely. We even see it with Dibala.
Once the initial shock wears off, Chase immediately switches into coverup mode, spending most of Instant Karma badgering Foreman about lying for him, coming up with a story, etc. We very briefly see Chase consider coming clean to Cuddy, but when the moment passes so does that impulse: he’s right back to insisting Forenan lie for him and keep him out of jail.
Admittedly, Chase and Foreman aren’t exactly close friends, but… there’s no moment in this entire ordeal that Chase goes “shit, this is a lot to put on you, I’ll figure it out myself.” As soon as Foreman is involved, Chase puts most of the burden and work in his lap. And you know what else Chase (doesn’t) do? Tell his wife. Anything.
Some of this is definitely Chase’s “never burden the people you love” philosophy: burdening Foreman is obviously okay, but we see him trying to protect Cameron here. But also: it’s self serving. Cameron is absolutely suspicious. As the weeks go by, she goes from worried to extremely worried to “I guess Chase is having an affair because he won’t even look at me anymore.” Chase is going through hell, but he’s also kind of putting Cameron through it. Telling her the truth would be the right thing to do — not for his marriage but for Cameron’s sake, he is actively hurting her — but it’s bad for Chase (destroying their marriage, something we know he was actually very invested in and wanted very badly).
We see this same thing in a microcasm in Teamwork: as soon as House plants doubts in Chase’s head about Cameron’s forgiveness, he starts planning an escape route. He takes House’s job offer when the official plan is still leaving. He tells Cameron after agreeing, and I think Chase was being sincere when he wanted her to stay and take the job too — but he made sure to have that backup before he told her his plans.
Would he have preferred to have his marriage and stay in Princeton? Absolutely. Does he want to hurt Cameron and destroy their marriage and relationship? Obviously no. But he does.
Obviously Dibala is an extreme example, but that’s also kind of my point. In day to day life, Chase is probably perfectly capable of giving someone the last slice of cake, making basic sacrifices… working 28 hours in a row trying to save lives. But when things get bad, Chase is a survivor. And he’s going to put himself first.

Cersei murdered several of Robert's bastards (some in their cradles) and sold one of the mothers into slavery but sure, Cat is evil for not wanting Jon to sit with them at a feast. What a horrible woman for... just trying to ignore the bastard her husband brought to their home and said would be raised here with their own children 14 years ago???

Life is happening… Gaston is a strong man, but sometimes muscular strength is not everything…
day 02 - patience
He remembers falling, but only vaguely. It is enough to make him shiver, as if he had woken from a nightmare. He has never told anyone except his wife about his dreams of falling from the castle top. What he can't tell her is that this here now is worse.

All Layla had to do was ask Laura not to throw away the mail until everybody looks through it and decides what goes in the trash and what’s important. All them shady looks between her and Patience was uncalled for. She’s being a hovering mother because she’s grieving. And complaining about it to her daughter who’s grieving the same thing isn’t any better. She could easily kick y’all asses out. You on the wrong side of history if TAMIA is the one making sense… she ain’t made sense like that since season 1. How is Laura allowing your ass to live there because you don’t feel safe in your own home around your own father, but you can’t extend that same level of kindness to the fact she just lost her husband?? And Patience’s entitled ass worrying about clothes being in the wrong spot like they looked terrible last night.

Back half of All American has been really good and I loved this episode. I’m still mad Alicia is around because at this point why! Liv and Jordan shined in this episode but Jordan’s dance was definitely the highlight😂

genuinely feel like i’ve already asked this but oh well! so i know that when they found out they were expecting, robert was team girl and giselle was team boy, but were they both in agreement to find out ASAP on the sonogram? or were either of them like “no let’s wait til the baby is born!!” was giselle wanting to return to her andalasian roots and wait? was robert wanting to wait, just for the excitement? or were they both antsy to know what they were having!!!
Oh, I think Giselle is way too impatient, there's no way she could've waited nine months.
when it comes to what they thought they were having, Giselle was really only team boy because Robert was so sure they were having a girl, and she wanted to win their silly bet. every time he called her his "little princess" he sounded so smug (and sweet, but also very smug) about it, and Giselle wanted to wipe that smirk off his face so bad.
I headcanon they make silly bets all the time, and she loses more often than not, which drives her nuts.
so, because of that bet, she wanted to know as soon as possible. and Robert wanted to know, too, but because he was so certain, he wouldn't have minded waiting if that was what Giselle wanted.
she wanted to brag about her victory so, so bad, but, as you know, she didn't get to, and that was, of course, more than fine ! I think after they found out, Giselle couldn't stop crying because she was just so Happy, and Robert lovingly brags about winning later, but she doesn't even care because she's just !!!!!!! so happy !!!!!
I also think Giselle wouldn't have been able to wait because she wanted to start calling their baby by her name almost immediately. like I think the same night she takes her pregnancy test, she starts working on a list, and Robert's kind of taken aback, because of how things went with his ex-wife, but he's also sitting next to her falling even more in love than he already was.
BUT yeah, she wants to start calling their baby by her name like. Right Away. which, of course, doesn't happen as fast as she'd like, because finding "Sofia" takes them a month or so, but yeah !!
overall, Giselle is simply not capable of waiting for anything. I think if they tried, she'd give up as soon as they stepped into the doctor's office, and beg said doctor to tell her. In fact, I'm sure she was begging to know on their first appointment, and the doctor had to tell her it's too soon, which made her sigh dramatically while Robert stared at her with hearts in his eyes.

I saw the tags in your recent reblog about Thomas being a vampire and wanted to say yes. Just yes. I love this idea so much. He literally looks just like a vampire, complete with sad lone wolf vibes 🥺
This is the most accurate description of Thomas I've ever read: the look of a vampire and the soul of a sad, lone wolf. It's him, 100%. 🥺
I know I repeat myself in the tags, I know, with this vampire thing, but I can't help but think that Fellowes, the costume designers, the make-up artists and the whole crew thought like us... Certain shots, certain lights, they're straight out of vampire movies.
And then he, misunderstood, condemned to a sad and lonely life (at least so he believes), but full of love. He's basically Bram Stoker's Dracula. Or Etienne Navarre, if you like 😊
I propose a petition to have Rob play all the movie vampires 😆
Anyway, thank you for your words and your support in my madness. And thanks for listening to my rant 😊
