i mean in canon it's a security blanket because he's able to say that one insignificant part of him is what makes him stand out (have you ever seen me without this stupid hat on? that's weird) without examining the real reasons he feels othered from his friends. he had to get rid of it after graduation because he's shedding his experience at stonewall (relationship with bret) (stonewall) and getting out of riverdale is his effort at becoming a part of normal society (don't think too hard about what makes him abnormal) (where are betty and veronica in this?). i do wish that she got a crown tattoo post-time skip but i understand why he didn't. he's not self aware enough to realize that nothing changed and he's always going to be this way. and that's not a bad thing.

i'll admit i am a little cynical about popular interpretation of hua cheng because of the aspects of his character that people tend to focus on. but the animation... i am so happy that they took the time to let him have his soft expressions. his surprise, his vulnerability... the little look on his face at the end of episode four has me losing my mind a little bit. everything i could've asked for in a hua cheng depiction. and the little trailer of him with his golden fan in the next ep... i am so glad he gets to be sharp and violent too :D

I wanna know: We know how Forgo Meta Knight turned in the Forgo Knight AU(My name to the Forgo Meta Knight AU, it's that or Beast Knight AU), would he faintly recognize Dedede as his sworn partner in his state, like he doesn't remember Dedede at all but he just feels some sort of familiarity for him, that can make him hesitate in a possible fight. Except for the fight near the lab, where Forgos influence is strongest.

... except, it was all a lie from Vlad. He didn't let go of any of his goals, and has been plotting all these years, and he strikes a coup in an attempt to take the Crown.

The Ghost Zone enters a civil war as the halfas fight for the throne and then-

-Danny makes his hardest choice as King, and excecutes Vlad, vanishing his soul for good. No afterlife, no cycle of rebirth. That's it.

The war ends, the good guys win, order is restored.
