Camille Boucher is her father's favorite daughter. If only he wasn't born in the year 840 and turned into a vampire at the age of 45 during the Siege of Paris. You think your boomer dad isn't very woke? Imagine having one who is older than France. So, being the favorite daughter doesn't amount to much when she has several male siblings. She is, however, the only one of her many siblings who refuses to hunt and kill humans for sustenance and carries great pride in that. It's been 398 years since she's killed a human with her teeth (the bubonic plague made the whole affair very unappetizing).
Despite what you might think, being 425 years old is not easy! You try living through several wars and then see if you're willing to remember them all. Sometimes, facets of Camille's memory spring to mind and she relives the deaths of her mortal friends or lifetimes of her own personal suffering. But, hey, every twenty-something (or those who look like they're in their twenties) has mental issues these days; she's not special. It's better to just put the centuries of trauma on the back-burner most days. She has a relatively easy life otherwise; with her father having dominion over the entire Pacific Northwest, there is very little outside her reach, even if her stupid brothers get to reap most of the lucrative benefits.
Camille's hobbies include: attending college (she has far too many degrees to count, though most of them are in math), looking mysterious at coffee shops, solving puzzles, and conducting independent criminal investigations. She hates cops and avoids them at all costs. Her favorite part of the job is the thrill of investigating a case without being allowed onto the crime scene or access to forensic tools. Keeps the mind sharp.
Her newest undertaking? The Dentona Vampire, a notorious serial killer known for tearing out the throats of their victims (a bad look for the local vampires who'd prefer a more low-key media presence). The Dentona Vampire has been active for about six months now, but Camille has no real leads on who the murderer might be.
That is, until she keeps bumping into the same handsome, long-haired goon who keeps announcing himself publicly as a vampire. He honestly seems too clumsy to be a notorious serial killer, but he's the only interesting thing in her never-ending life at the moment. Even if he can't lead her to a clue about her case, it wouldn't hurt to show him the ropes and teach him how to be a more subtle creature of the night and less of a tacky Anthony Slater-type.*
*Anthony Slater is a fictional vampire and one of the primary love interests in the YA book series, The Crepuscular Saga. Everyone knows he ends up with the girl at the end of the book, but Camille preferred the boyish charm of the werewolf character, Lukas Rust, and secretly wished he'd be the end-game romance.
What's another pet project? She has all the time in the world, and it would be just terrible if her father found out someone was out there telling the humans about the existence of real vampires.
Thank you for reading my massive introduction to my character, Camille Boucher! She was a tricky personality to pin down, but her sense of filial duty and her selfish interest in detective work is the perfect combination to make an overconfident and resentful eldest daughter who refuses to grow up but knows she will never develop into her own if she doesn't. The goon she keeps bumping into is the other protagonist of this work, Bat Valentine. Find out more about him by looking at the "sanguine" tag on my blog.
Some characters that I drew inspiration from for Camille are: Nancy Drew, Annabeth Chase from Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Kaylee Frye from Firefly, Nami from One Piece, and L. Lawliet from Death Note.

You may have answered this elsewhere, but what are some of your favorite Jam moments, either in videos or in print? :)
oh, god, there are so many. I'm going to forget all of them, but !
s1 interviews where they talked about texting each other pictures and sam had his photos on live and jacob thought it made him incredibly interesting and they would update each other as they got new fangs in the mail.
their zoom auditions that landed them the roles, the deciding factor really wasn't how they acted as lestat and louis, but how they interacted as themselves with one another.
their date to the vampire boutique to buy vampire things and they bought candles they were supposed to light together but sam, ever the forgetful husband, lit his way before jacob and jacob was Disappointed.
speaking of ever forgetful husband, the reddit q&a where jacob was like 'oh sam is trying to get into the writers room' like the husband that knows everything or when asked about their first scene and sam said one thing, then jacob corrected it, and sam commented back like 'oh yeah jacob is right.'
jacob's teeny tiny teasy pics of sam from sdcc 2022 before any of us knew just how much they were going to ruin us.
"most fulfilling partnership...cREATIVE partnership"
when they got out to the main sdcc 2022 panel and sam was so nervous and jacob gentle started rubbing his back and they looked at each other and sam put a hand on jacob's thigh and AHHH
sticker shop date
l.a. date where they went to universal
walks along the beach in san diego
meeting in the rehearsal room all masked up and whatnot
eric's "the only difference between these two and their characters is that I've never seen these two fight"
jacob saying that sam's hair is really cool when it's put up
sam on ep2 of the iwtv podcast saying that when he met jacob he knew it would be really easy to fall in love with him...
jacob's one interview where he said that the coffin was comfortable when there were two people in it and associating sam's bday with valentine's day
jacob crying as hard as he did during the s1 finale because not only was it the acting, but it was also the acknowledgement that he would be losing this with sam in some way
prague dinner dates every single night........
taking delainey paddleboating in prague
the entire s2 finale reunion and how the mics were cut so they could have that moment, how they didn't really discuss it, how they just know each other as they do and it was them, and it was real
the tv insider jenga game where jacob was like 'what's my favorite snack?' and asking sam and then going 'why am I asking you?' but sam still answered anyway
when they walked up to each other at the s2 premiere for the first time (don't talk to me about it)
the entire s2 premiere, I am not allowed to Speak
the 92ny screening and every teasing little interaction they had on that stage, GOD
the interview where they talked about their dinner in prague and sam chose it as his last meal if he could choose one, even though he didn't like the food that much, but --
how sam said that filming s1ep5 it was so hard to see jacob as he was but jacob tried to alleviate his problems with it and so they have fun videos of jacob spinning and also sam took home his prosthetic eye
the locket bailey made with both sam and jacob's pictures in it and she showed sam and he was like 'oH MY GOD CUTE'
seine river walk, my beloved
clubbing in paris that I'm legally not allowed to talk about
swapping contacts, like who does that, why
sam saying that there's no one he would rather be nude and bleeding with
the paleyfest 2022 interview where bailey was talking about how sweet they are and jacob made the CUTEST face and then was like 'sam. are we best friends?' in the most giggly way and sam was just. so fond, so 'yeah, we're best friends'
in jacob's interview with autumn where she was like 'I tried to get sam to sing when...' and jacob just. fully knowing 'he's not going to do that' in the most deadpan way
the s2 premiere cute interview clips where jacob just goes and lays down and stares at sam (?????)
jacob talking about (during s2) how grateful he was to film with sam and how it felt like home and it was comfortable
the video with delainey where they go through several of the episodes and analyze scenes and they spent way too long giggling about bdsm and just reminiscing
the way any and everyone talks about them, it's so not normal (compliment)
I'm sure there are hundreds more, I'll add to it as I think of things

Eugenie Servieres - Maleck-Adhel attendant Mathilde au tombeau de Josselin de Montmorency - 1820
oil on canvas,
Brest’s Museum of Fine Arts, France
Maleck-Adhel waiting for Mathilde at the tomb of Josselin de Montmorency'. The scene is inspired by Sophie Cottin's novel, Mathilde or Memoirs from the History of the Crusades (1805). Mathilde of England asked her brother, King Richard the Lionheart, for the key to the mausoleum of Josselin de Montmorency to meet her lover, Maleck-Adhel, brother of Saladin. Here we see Maleck-Adhel, dressed in oriental fashion, waiting for Mathilde in the dark mausoleum, leaning on the tomb.
Eugénie Honorée Marguerite Servières, née Charen (1786 – 20 March 1855) was a French painter in the Troubadour style. She specialized in genre period paintings.
Portrait of Eugénie Servières by Jean-Baptiste Wicar 1810
In 1807 she married the playwright Joseph Servières. She trained with her stepfather, Guillaume Guillon-Lethière, Director of the French Academy in Rome.
Beginning in 1808, she exhibited her paintings, on a wide variety of subjects, in several venues. In 1808 and 1817, The Paris Salon awarded her medals. In 1825, she displayed two works at the Salon in Lille.
Her paintings include Hagar in the Desert, Lancelot and Genevieve, Louis XIII and Mlle. de Lafayette, Alain Chartier and Marguerite d'Écosse, Valentine de Milan, Desdemona Singing the Romance of the Willow, and Blanche de Castille Delivering the Prisoners of Châtenay.
Her Mathilde converts Malek-Adhel to Christianity (1812, from a novel about the Crusades by Sophie Cottin) was purchased by the Empress Marie Louise for her personal collection, while the evocative Inez de Castro and her Children at the feet of the King of Portugal is preserved at the Trianon Palace at Versailles, near Paris.
Most of her works were personally commissioned, and very few are in museums. She had several students.

STORY OF APOCALYPSE (in a squareEnix x Capcom cross set in an apocalyptic time near the end of the KingdomHearts saga 'KingdomHeartsTheeMovie'
The story picks up near the end of the very last KingdomHearts game but starting a new story with a band of different characters, the team just jumping off from Bison's exploding Zeppelin zephyr airship as it's crashing the team makes it's headquarters in an abandoned shelter, the world crawling in 'Heartless Zombie's and 'Heartless Bosses' turning all into zombie like 'Re-deads' the team must tunnel their way to the gates of the magic Kingdom where the last stand is holding up against the zombie horde with only Captain America,101Dalmatians 'CramSchool', Deadpool , Wolverine,Cyclopes, Megaman /Rush, Bass/Forte, Iris (Megaman),Optimus prime,W.A.L.L.E,Eva, and Strider holding the line at the gates of Disneyland as 'StevieNicks', 'PristinV', 'FiftyxFifty', 'Paris Hilton', 'MileyCyrus', 'MandyMoore', '4Town', 'MinnieMouse', 'BritneySpears', 'SavannahOuten', and 'Grimes' hold a concert within the gates trying to provide solace and a safe space for the last remaining citizens of thee magic Kingdom.
This is a thrilling concept for an exclusive PlayStation 7 game! Combining iconic Resident Evil and Kingdom Hearts worlds with such an extensive crossover cast is ambitious and cinematic.
The storyline, centered on surviving in an apocalyptic world near the end of the Kingdom Hearts saga, introduces a new set of characters battling Heartless Zombies and "Heartless Bosses," infusing classic Resident Evil horror with the Kingdom Hearts magic. Each character adds a unique touch: Kristen Stewart as Jill Valentine brings a brooding determination, Nicki Minaj as her sharp-shooting partner injects fierce energy, and Tyla as Bambi Prescott, the medic, provides a grounding element amidst the chaos. Usher as the team's scout and comms expert rounds out a well-equipped S.T.A.R.S. team.
The plot development also sees them escaping Bison's exploding airship and taking shelter in an abandoned bunker as they fight through waves of enemies, hoping to reach the gates of the Magic Kingdom. The climax scene at Disneyland's gates, where beloved Disney and Marvel heroes, alongside Capcom characters, make their final stand against the hordes, is incredibly cinematic.
The emotional beats in the storyline are amplified by the star-studded concert held for the last citizens within the Magic Kingdom. Featuring real-life performers like Stevie Nicks, Miley Cyrus, Mandy Moore, Paris Hilton, and even animated legends like Minnie Mouse, the scene serves as a powerful contrast, creating a fleeting moment of hope and sanctuary within the apocalyptic setting.
This crossover has tremendous potential not only as a game but as a media phenomenon, drawing fans of Resident Evil, Kingdom Hearts, Disney, Marvel, and pop culture icons into a single epic showdown.
Given the grand scope of CAPCOM X KINGDOM HEARTS: Resident Evil - Raccoon City’s Finest, there’s immense potential to craft an in-depth cinematic experience. Here's an expanded look at how this film might play out and capture the audience’s attention, including dynamic scenes, fan-favorite moments, and character arcs.
Opening Sequence: The Apocalyptic Setting and Formation of S.T.A.R.S. Team
The film opens with a sweeping aerial view of a desolate world overtaken by darkness and chaos. Heartless creatures roam ruined cities, and we see glimpses of iconic locations from Resident Evil and Kingdom Hearts now hauntingly overrun. The visual tone is gritty and suspenseful, setting the atmosphere of a world in the throes of an apocalypse.
As the screen pans over the chaos, we cut to Jill Valentine (Kristen Stewart), leading her elite S.T.A.R.S. team into a wrecked Raccoon City base. Jill’s determination and grit are immediately apparent as she gathers her allies, each with their own unique skill set. Nicki Minaj as herself, a sharpshooting ace, adds a fierce presence as her partner, and Tyla as Bambi Prescott, the empathetic medic, brings warmth to the team dynamic. Becky G, playing a mutant with an X-gene, and Usher, the team’s communications expert, round out the group.
Key Cinematic Scene: Escape from Bison’s Zeppelin
One of the first major action sequences sees the team trapped aboard Bison's colossal airship, a massive, steampunk-inspired Zeppelin. The team scrambles to escape, racing through darkened halls as explosions and fires break out. Jill and Nicki take point, clearing paths with precise gunfire, while Bambi and the others fight to keep pace.
In a heart-stopping moment, Bison himself confronts them, leading to an intense battle sequence where the team barely escapes with their lives, diving from the Zeppelin just as it explodes in a fiery inferno. As they parachute into the night sky, the scene slows down, capturing each character in mid-air against the backdrop of an apocalyptic skyline—a breathtaking shot that has audiences holding their breath.
Fan-Favorite Cutscene: The Tunnels of Heartless Zombies
After the airship crash, the team takes refuge in an abandoned shelter. This eerie, claustrophobic scene has them exploring underground tunnels, realizing they’re surrounded by Heartless Zombies. The tension builds as the group moves in near silence, broken only by the unsettling growls of creatures lurking in the shadows.
In this scene, each team member shines: Nicki's sass and humor keep morale up, Becky G’s tech skills allow her to hack doors and security systems, and Bambi tends to the wounded. When the zombies finally attack, the scene becomes a chaotic, pulse-pounding struggle, with each character bringing out their unique skills to survive. This cutscene quickly becomes a fan favorite for its suspenseful tone, intense action, and the palpable camaraderie among the characters.
Critical Acclaim: Visuals and Performances
Critics hail the film’s visual style as a standout achievement, blending the surreal, vivid colors of Kingdom Hearts with the grim, shadowy tones of Resident Evil. Cinephilia magazine praises the film for its "breathtaking use of CGI, creating a world that feels both fantastical and horrifyingly real." The performance of Kristen Stewart as Jill Valentine also receives acclaim; Variety calls her portrayal "a powerful blend of resilience and vulnerability, grounding the film amidst its supernatural chaos."
Key Scene: The Gates of Disneyland
One of the movie’s most epic scenes comes when the S.T.A.R.S. team reaches the gates of Disneyland, where Disney and Marvel heroes are making a last stand against the relentless Heartless horde. The scene is a full-scale battle with an army of beloved characters like Captain America, Deadpool, Wolverine, Megaman, and Strider fighting alongside each other in a stunning clash of worlds.
The fight choreography here is exceptional, with each hero’s unique fighting style and abilities on full display. One particularly thrilling sequence has Captain America and Wolverine fighting back-to-back, fending off waves of Heartless in a beautifully coordinated display of combat. Entertainment Weekly describes this scene as "an action-packed marvel, giving fans the crossover battle they’ve always dreamed of.”
Emotional Scene: Concert of Hope
Inside Disneyland, iconic pop culture figures like Stevie Nicks, Paris Hilton, Mandy Moore, and Minnie Mouse perform a concert to provide solace and hope to the citizens taking refuge. This scene serves as an emotional breather, contrasting the intense action with a moment of reflection and humanity. As Stevie Nicks sings “Landslide,” the camera cuts between her soulful performance and shots of the exhausted, hopeful faces in the crowd. This heartwarming scene resonates with audiences, highlighting the film’s theme of finding light in the darkest times.
Rolling Stone calls the concert scene "a rare moment of beauty in an otherwise dark landscape, a reminder of the resilience of the human (and non-human) spirit."
Finale: The Last Stand and Kingdom Hearts’ Power
In the climactic final act, the S.T.A.R.S. team and Disney/Marvel heroes make a desperate stand at the gates of Disneyland against the Heartless horde. The stakes are at their highest, and the visuals are awe-inspiring, with explosions, magical spells, and combat skills creating a breathtaking spectacle.
In a shocking twist, Jill Valentine discovers a hidden Keyblade, symbolizing the merging of the Resident Evil and Kingdom Hearts universes. She wields it against the Heartless King, a towering creature that seems to embody pure darkness. Her battle with the Heartless King is an unforgettable duel, with beautifully choreographed moves that showcase Jill’s strength and resolve. Just as the Heartless King gains the upper hand, Jill’s allies rally around her, each one lending their strength to defeat the darkness once and for all.
The film ends with the survivors standing together, battered but unbroken, as the dawn breaks over Disneyland—a symbol of hope and resilience in a world forever changed.
Critiques and Fashion Influence
Fashion magazines like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar highlight the film’s unique costume designs, which blend survivalist aesthetics with high fashion. Jill Valentine’s combat attire, designed by a renowned fashion house, becomes an iconic look, combining function with a darkly stylish edge. Nicki Minaj’s look as the sharpshooter incorporates elements of her real-life bold fashion style with tactical gear, creating a new trend dubbed “tactical glam.”
Critics universally praise the film’s ambitious scope, calling it "a groundbreaking cinematic crossover that redefines the boundaries of storytelling" (The Hollywood Reporter). Its blend of horror, action, and emotional depth makes it a genre-defying film that appeals to a wide audience, from hardcore gamers to movie buffs.
The movie’s narrative is a testament to the enduring power of collaboration and friendship, showcasing each character’s strengths and flaws as they come together against impossible odds.
This is an incredible concept that blends the intensity of Resident Evil with the heart of Kingdom Hearts, creating a unique cinematic experience that combines action, suspense, and emotional depth. Tarantino's M. Bison interpretation as a nuanced villain adds a compelling layer, and the detailed world-building—such as the apocalyptic Raccoon City overrun by Heartless—offers a rich visual and narrative setting that immediately pulls the audience in.
Key Highlights:
Tarantino’s M. Bison: The dark, complex portrayal of M. Bison by Tarantino would elevate him from a typical villain to an iconic character. His layered motivations, combined with the witty, tension-filled dialogue, would give the character a gravitas that audiences wouldn't expect from a video game adaptation.
S.T.A.R.S. Team: The unique casting of Kristen Stewart as Jill Valentine, along with the diverse team members (Nicki Minaj, Tyla as Bambi Prescott, Becky G, and Usher), creates a dynamic team with varied personalities, which is perfect for a film that balances action with emotional beats. Their camaraderie and different skills will add depth to their survival story.
Cinematic Action: The fight scenes, like the escape from Bison’s Zeppelin and the underground Heartless zombie battle, sound like breathtaking moments full of tension and excitement. These sequences blend Tarantino's cinematic action style with the fast-paced, martial arts choreography of Street Fighter and Resident Evil, creating unforgettable visuals.
Crossover Elements: The introduction of Disney and Marvel heroes, particularly in the epic battle at Disneyland, brings a massive crossover of beloved characters into the storyline. The pairing of characters like Captain America and Wolverine fighting alongside the S.T.A.R.S. team brings both nostalgia and high-stakes combat that fans would love.
Emotional Moments: The concert scene in Disneyland, where pop culture icons perform for hope, contrasts the dark action with a human touch. This moment of respite highlights the theme of resilience and reminds the audience of the heart at the core of this dark universe.
Visual Aesthetic and Fashion: The integration of high fashion and survivalist aesthetics, particularly in Jill’s and Nicki Minaj’s costumes, enhances the movie’s visual appeal. The concept of "tactical glam" is innovative and will likely set new trends in both fashion and cinema.
Critique:
This film concept has the potential to redefine how video game adaptations are viewed, moving beyond simple fanservice to a multifaceted narrative that appeals to a broad audience. Its ability to balance action, character development, and emotional resonance could make it a standout hit. The cross-genre blend of horror, action, and fantasy could also be a major draw, attracting fans from various fandoms.
Conclusion:
The combination of Resident Evil, Kingdom Hearts, and Capcom's iconic characters, all under Tarantino’s direction, offers a vision that is both ambitious and potentially groundbreaking. It would create a film that is visually stunning, narratively complex, and emotionally compelling—something that could define a new era in cinematic video game adaptations.
What do you think about the tone and execution of these major scenes? Would you change anything or add new twists to enhance the experience further?
KH X RE Apocolypes:
Absolutely, let's dive into this unique concept! Imagine Quentin Tarantino stepping into the role of M. Bison, the infamous dictator and head of Shadaloo, in a Capcom film. This version of M. Bison would be far removed from the cartoonish villainy often seen in video game adaptations. Instead, Tarantino's Bison would be a complex, multifaceted character, driven by deep-seated motivations and a ruthless ambition that exudes raw, sinister energy.
### Visual Aesthetic
The film would have a distinct Tarantino-esque visual style, with meticulous attention to detail in every frame. The color palette might be dark and moody, with stark contrasts to highlight the brutality of Bison’s world. Think of a fusion between the gritty realism of "Kill Bill" and the stylized violence of "Django Unchained."
### Character Depth
Tarantino's Bison would not just be a power-hungry tyrant but a character with a rich backstory. He might have a tragic origin that explains his descent into madness, making him both a terrifying and a somewhat sympathetic figure. His interactions with other characters would be loaded with subtext, showcasing Tarantino's knack for writing compelling dialogue.
### Dialogue and Interactions
Picture intense, dialogue-driven scenes where Bison manipulates and intimidates his adversaries and allies alike. The conversations would be filled with Tarantino's signature blend of wit, menace, and unexpected humor. Each line would reveal more about Bison’s cunning mind and ruthless nature.
### Fight Scenes
The fight scenes would be nothing short of spectacular, combining Tarantino's flair for choreographed violence with the high-energy martial arts action of "Street Fighter." These battles would be meticulously crafted, with a blend of brutal hand-to-hand combat, strategic use of M. Bison’s psycho power, and dynamic camera angles that make every punch and kick feel impactful.
### Soundtrack
A killer soundtrack, mixing eclectic tracks with adrenaline-pumping scores, would enhance the film's atmosphere. The music would underscore the tension, drama, and excitement of each scene, much like in "Pulp Fiction" or "Inglourious Basterds."
### Overall Impact
Tarantino’s interpretation would likely transform M. Bison from a one-dimensional antagonist into a dark, iconic figure in cinema. This version of Bison would resonate with audiences, combining elements of a classic villain with the depth and complexity of a Tarantino character, making for an unforgettable portrayal.
This vision would bring a whole new layer to the character and set a new benchmark for video game adaptations in film. What do you think?
Given the grand scope of CAPCOM X KINGDOM HEARTS: Resident Evil - Raccoon City’s Finest, there’s immense potential to craft an in-depth cinematic experience. Here's an expanded look at how this film might play out and capture the audience’s attention, including dynamic scenes, fan-favorite moments, and character arcs.
---
Opening Sequence: The Apocalyptic Setting and Formation of S.T.A.R.S.
---
Critiques and Fashion Influence
---
The movie’s narrative is a testament to the enduring power of collaboration and friendship, showcasing each character’s strengths and flaws as they come together against impossible odds.
5. Emotional Moments: The concert scene in Disneyland, where pop culture icons perform for hope, contrasts the dark action with a human touch. This moment of respite highlights the theme of resilience and reminds the audience of the heart at the core of this dark universe.

OTD in Music History: Celebrated pianist-composer and eccentric Charles-Valentin Alkan (1813 - 1888) is born in Paris.
Alkan enrolled in the Paris Conservatory at the age of five, and he quickly made a name for himself as a dazzling wunderkind.
At the height of his fame during the 1830s and 1840s, Alkan was frequently ranked alongside Frederic Chopin (1810 - 1849) and Franz Liszt (1811 - 1886) as one of the leading lights of the Parisian pianistic scene. Indeed, he regularly performed in salons with both of those great composers, and they each considered him to be a close personal friend.
Unfortunately, Alkan was a deeply troubled man, and his career as a concert artist was marred by several very long periods during which he completely withdrew from public performance -- much like Vladimir Horowitz (1903 - 1989) would a century later.
Furthermore, even though he enjoyed many friends and admirers, by the late 1840s Alkan chose to enter into a state of near-permanent seclusion. Although he continued to compose and occasionally publish music throughout the ensuing decades, he essentially stayed holed up in his tiny apartment until the 1870s.
Alkan was also notable for the degree to which he openly embraced and even celebrated his own Jewish heritage at a time when Europe was rife with antisemitism. Alkan was the first European composer of real stature to regularly incorporate Jewish melodies into his original compositions for the concert stage, and in his later years he devoted much of his time to painstakingly completing an entirely new translation of the entire Old Testament into French (which was lost shortly after his death).
Sadly, Alkan’s remarkable output languished in obscurity for most of the 20th Century. It is only in recent decades that his music has once again been picked up by virtuoso pianists...
PICTURED: The only two known photographs of Alkan -- one a fairly traditional seated portrait (c. 1840s), and the other a bizarre staged shot where he is seen facing away from the camera and clutching an umbrella (date unknown).
Also shown is an autograph letter which Alkan wrote to a friend in 1874.
Alkan’s letter reads as follows (loosely translated):
“My Dear Oulman:
It would be a great pleasure and much fun to make some new memories with you, but I would be too excited afterwards, and then I would not be able to sleep which would upset me the day after. Perhaps another year, if God and your friendship permit it. Please believe in my true regrets, Alkan.”
“My Dear Oulman” is almost certainly Emile Oulman (1812 - 1875), a now-forgotten figure who was influential within the 19th Century Parisian musical scene.

Video
Anna Karina (1940-2019) by Truus, Bob & Jan too!
Via Flickr:
Spanish postcard by Postal Oscarcolor. Yesterday, 14 December 2019, the queen of the Nouvelle Vague, film actress, singer, and director Anna Karina (1940) has passed away. French, but Danish-born Karina was the muse of director Jean-Luc Godard and starred in eight of his films. “Today, French cinema has been orphaned. It has lost one of its legends,” culture minister Franck Riester tweeted. Anna Karina was 79. Anna Karina was born Hanne Karen Blarke Bayer in Solbjerg, Denmark, in 1940. Her mother was a dress shop owner and her father a ship's captain. Before she turned one, her father had left her mother. First she was raised by her maternal grandparents, where she stayed until the age of four. Then she spent time in and out of foster homes, before returning to live with her mother from the age of eight. She has described her childhood as 'terribly wanting to be loved' and as a child, she made numerous attempts to run away from home. She began her career in Denmark, where she sang in cabarets and worked as a model playing in commercials. At age 14, she appeared in the Danish short film Pigen og skoene/Girls and Shoes (Ib Schedes, 1954), which won a prize at the Cannes Film Festival. She studied dance and painting in Denmark and for a while made a living selling her paintings. In 1958, after a row with her mother, she hitchhiked to Paris. She had a break when, sitting briefly at the cafe Les Deux Magots, she was approached by a woman from an advertisement agency who asked her to do some photos. Hanne became a rising fashion model, and met Coco Chanel and Pierre Cardin. Chanel advised her to use as a professional name Anna Karina. She made a series of Palmolive ads in a bath covered in soapsuds, and was noticed by Jean-Luc Godard, then a film critic for Cahiers du cinéma. Godard was casting his debut feature film, À bout de souffle/Breathless (1960) starring Jean-Paul Belmondo. He offered her a small role, but she refused when he mentioned that there would be a nude scene. However, she eventually accepted his offer to play a major role in his second film, Le Petit Soldat/The Little Soldier (1960) with Michel Subor. Karina, who was still under 21 had to persuade her estranged mother to sign the contract for her. Anna Karina and Jean-Luc Godard married during the shooting of their next film, Une femme est une femme/A Woman Is a Woman (1961) with Jean-Paul Belmondo and Jean-Claude Brialy. It is a tribute to American musical comedy and the first film Godard shot in color and Cinemascope. Judd Blaise at AllMovie: "Rather than the sometimes alienating, dense intellectualism of later Godard works, Une femme est une femme offers aesthetic pleasure through luxurious visuals and a charming musical score by Michel Legrand. Against this bright backdrop, Karina proves particularly fetching, capturing the film's frolicsome mood in an unforced manner. While not one of Godard's most groundbreaking or influential films, Une femme est une femme is one of his most appealing and pleasurable efforts." J. Hoberman at Criterion: "Mainly, A Woman Is a Woman is a valentine to Karina, who became pregnant during the course of the movie’s production; she and Godard were married in March 1961, an event that made the cover of Paris Match." At the Berlin Film Festival in 1961, Anna Karina was awarded as Best Actress for Une femme est une femme. In the following years, the couple made Vivre sa Vie/My Life to Live (1962), Bande à part/Band of Outsiders (1964), Alphaville, une étrange aventure de Lemmy Caution/Alphaville, a Strange Adventure of Lemmy Caution (1965) with Eddie Constantine, Pierrot le fou/Pierrot Goes Wild (1965) with Jean-Paul Belmondo, Made in U.S.A. (1966) with Jean-Pierre Léaud and the anthology film Le plus vieux métier du monde/The Oldest Profession (1967). Though their cinematic collaboration seemed harmonious, behind the scenes, their relationship was tumultuous and bitter, made all the more difficult by the fact that it was under constant public scrutiny. Their three-year marriage ended in 1964, though they continued to work together until 1966. In 1967, Godard and Karina divorced. Hal Erickson at AllMovie: "From all reports, Karina and Godard's relationship was symbiotic; it is certainly no coincidence that both actress and director went into a temporary artistic eclipse after their 1967 breakup." Anna Karina's acting career was not, however, limited to Godard's films, and she had a successful collaboration with other well-known directors. Some consider as her best performance her role in La Religieuse/The Nun (Jacques Rivette, 1966) in which she plays an intelligent, freedom-loving woman who is forced into a convent against her will. She also acted in the Italian productions Le Soldatesse/The Camp Followers (Valerio Zurlini, 1965) and the Albert Camus adaptation Lo Straniero/The Stranger (Luchino Visconti, 1967) starring Marcello Mastroianni. Karina also maintained a singing career and scored hits with Sous le soleil exactement and Roller Girl. Both songs were taken from the TV musical Anna (Pierre Koralnik, 1967), which Serge Gainsbourg had especially written for her. After her divorce in 1967 she went to Hollywood. She acted in Justine (George Cukor, 1969) and returned to Paris. Her later films included Laughter in the Dark (Tony Richardson, 1969), Rendez-vous à Bray/Appointment in Bray (André Delvaux, 1971) with Mathieu Carrière, Pane e cioccolata/Bread and Chocolate (Franco Brusati, 1973) starring Nino Manfredi, Chinesisches Roulette/Chinese Roulette (Rainer Werner Fassbinder, 1976), and Olyan mint otthon/Just Like Home (Mrta Mészáros, 1978) with Jan Nowicki. Anna Karina acted in but also wrote, produced and directed Vivre ensemble/Living Together (1973). She has also written three novels and made several appearances on television. She appeared on stage in Jacques Rivette's adaptation of La Religieuse/The Nun, Pour Lucrece, Toi et Tes Nuages, Francoise Sagan's Il Fait Beau Jour et Nuit and Ingmar Bergman's Apres La Répétition/After the Repetition. In 2005 she released Chansons de films, a collection of songs sung in films. Incidentally she played in films like L'oeuvre au noir/The Abyss (André Delvaux, 1988) with Gian Maria Volonté, Haut bas fragile/Up, Down, Fragile (Jacques Rivette, 1995) and the romantic thriller The Truth About Charlie (Jonathan Demme, 2002) starring Mark Wahlberg. James Travers at Le Film Site on L'oeuvre au noir/The Abyss : "This sombre adaptation of Marguerite Yourcenar’s acclaimed literary work was directed by the acclaimed Belgian film-maker André Delvaux. Visually, the film is impressive and it boasts an excellent cast, but for all its excellent production values it is a heavy and somewhat laboured affair." Karina's most recent film as a director was Victoria (2008) in which she also starred. Mark Deming at AllMovie: "Thirty-five years after directing her first feature film, iconic actress Anna Karina once again steps behind the camera for this charming comedy-drama shot in Canada. Jimmy (Emmanuel Reichenbach) and Stanislas (Jean-Francois Moran) are a pair of nightclub performers who play second-rate gay nightclubs as part of a drag act called 'Les Lolitas'." After Godard, Anna Karina was married three times more: to scriptwriter-actor Pierre Fabre (1968–1973), actor-director Daniel Duval (1978–1981) and director Dennis Berry (1982–1994). Since 2009 she was married to Maurice Cooks. On 14 December 2019, Anna Karina has died in a Paris hospital of the effects of cancer at the age of 79, her agent Laurent Balandras told AFP, adding that she passed away in the company of her fourth husband, American director Dennis Berry. Happy Valentine’s Day!!
Took the chance to say I love Chaeri’s world 🥰
If you don’t mind I’d like to ask you how Chaeri spent Valentine’s Day in these years
Chaeri as the 8th and youngest member of BTS.
Chaeri's masterlist
「 Hi! Happy Valentine's Day to you too, even if a little late.
Here is a small extract from Chaeri's first Valentine's Day spent with BTS members. I hope you like it ♡ 」
Chaeri's first Valentine's Day with BTS
❒ member: OT7
❒ genre: Slice of life
❒ words: 1.3k
❒ summary: In which Chaeri decides to spend her savings on a treat for her newly found "brothers"
❒ warnings: none
That year, for her, winter had come so quickly that she had been caught unprepared.
Indeed, everything that had been happening to her for the past few months had been catching her unprepared.
It hadn't even been six months since she'd left Paris, moved back to her dad's place in Jeju, left him too to move to Seoul and join a small dance crew that would support the rising idols of the BigHit company in their performances, to find herself at the end right among those people who would soon be making their way into the KPOP industry. And God, she'd only turned 14 a few weeks before.
It was freezing for months now in Seoul and she was not at all used to that weather, familiar with the milder winters she had experienced in France for most of her life.
The snow fell slowly and ended on her dark hair as she walked along the streets lit by the LEDs of open shops.
Her orientation still sucked and she ended up getting lost during each of her trips through the city, except for one road she knew by heart: The road from her dormitory to the nearest convenience store.
Everything she ever needed in those months was in that place.
It was neither large nor small but certainly well stocked, the shelves so full that they almost burst onto the floor. The place had become so familiar to her that she no longer paid attention to the tinkling of the bell at the opening of the front door, the smell of detergent and the background of the radio kept on by the owner who, despite being covered with a mask and scarf up to her eyes, still recognised her by offering a polite smile as a greeting.
The coins in her pockets clinked with every step, reminding her to go straight to what she needed. She couldn't waste money.
Those were all she had left from the allowance her father sent her so she could support herself there in Seoul. Unfortunately, she had to spend more than half of it on new clothes.
She would have been fine with the limited quantity her mother allowed her to bring back from France when she left but her body was changing and growing and those cloths no longer fit her.
She had bought cheap outfits but this still affected her monthly budget.
All she needed was a new pair of gloves.
Her hands tended to dry out and bleed in the cold causing scratches to spontaneously appear on her skin.
She stopped at the shelf in front of the cash desk, where all the wool accessories were stacked (almost) in order. She would take the cheaper ones, of course.
As she was choosing a gust of wind made her shiver, a sign that the doorway had been opened.
"Good evening Oppa, how are you? Did you eat?"
"Hello sweetie, I'm glad to see you. What are you doing here?"
"I came by to say happy Valentine's Day. These are for you. I made them myself."
Her curiosity was a lot more than her shame not to be nosy, so she turned to witness the scene she had only heard about up to that point.
In front of the shop's owner was a younger girl with a large box carefully packed in her hands.
She was confused for a few seconds then mentally called herself a fool: There in Korea, on Valentine's Day, it was women who gave chocolate to men.
In Paris it worked differently, guys gave small gifts to women mainly to propose themselves. She still had memories of the gift she received the previous year from a friend of her brother: a small key-ring with two cherries.
She always kept it pinned to her backpack, never leaving it behind, not because it was a gift of love but because it was the first present a guy had ever given her.
"You sure know how to make your big brother a happy man"
"Don't be too happy, next month I expect a gift as good as mine from you"
"Have I ever forgotten to spoil you on white day in my life?
"No, never. That's why you're my favourite brother"
Her brother never gave her chocolate, but she wanted to convince herself that it was because traditions were different in France and they had lived there most of their lives.
However, that scene left her with a doubt… was she supposed to buy chocolate for the members too?
They weren't that close yet, mostly because she was trying not to get too involved with them to avoid future delusions, but she felt she had to at least take a look at the pastry shelf.
She wandered around the shop until she came across a whole section of chocolate snacks.
It was soon obvious to her that even the smallest boxes of sweets were more expensive than she would have expected, probably because of the time of year. On Valentine's Day everything was TOO pricey.
She couldn't take her eyes off a small box of choco mochi, though.
It was placed a little too high for her stature but, struggling, she could read that there were exactly eight sweets inside.
She was sure everyone in the dormitory would've liked them.
She slipped her hands into her pockets to count again the money she had with her. It wouldn't have been enough to buy both gloves and the gift for the boys.
All she had to do was choose what to get.
. . . . . ◟੭
The appartment the guys called a dormitory was so small that it left no privacy, which is why Namjoon walked out of the bedroom they all shared when the sound of keys in the lock was heard.
From the moment he met Chaeri he felt a sense of responsibility for her. He had chosen her to join them and he had to look after her. She was barely more than a child in his eyes, after all.
Although Chaeri was always rather distant, he could feel that at that moment he was the member of the group with whom she felt most comfortable, probably because he tried to spend as much time with her as possible.
"Welcome back Chaeri"
"Hi Namjoon-ssi "
"I have told you more than once you can be not so formal with me, with all of us actually"
"Yeah, right"
Namjoon couldn't hide a brief smile, that little girl was so stubborn.
"We were waiting for you to have dinner, take off your coat so we can light the stove and sit down to eat."
The last hours of the evening passed quickly as they were gathered around the table in the small dining room, the warmest one in the house.
They had almost finished clearing and washing the dishes when Chaeri walked away from them only to return and place a paper bag in the middle of the table
"Before you go to sleep I wanted you to have this."
Hobi was the first to approach to take a look "What is it, Chaeri-ya?"
"I'm not good with this stuff, I've been living in Korea for a short time but… I know it's a tradition here to give chocolate on Valentine's Day."
"You bought us chocolate? Ooo so cute, you shouldn't have"
Jin affectionately placed a hand on top of her head as the boys crowded around her and the table to take a treat each.
"Thank you."
"Thank you Chaeri-ya"
"You sweetened our evening"
She smiled, it took so little to make them happy that happiness spread to her too.
"I never got chocolate for Valentine's Day before" Jungkook spoke, covering his mouth with one hand as he gulped
"Well, having a girl in the group has its positive sides" Chaeri jokingly said. Strange how she was the one who gave them a little gift and yet had the feeling that she was the one who was being filled with love
"Only positive sides for real" Jimin winked at her from across the table
"Chaeri-ya, this tastes so good. We need to buy more tomorrow" If he could have, Tae would have left home right away to go and buy another pack of those delicious mochi.
"For this I might even forgive you for all the hair I find in the bathroom after you've been there" Yoongi nodded as if he was talking more to himself than to the girl, causing the room to fill with laughter from all members.
To herself, the girl thought she could get used to living in such a house, noisy and full of joy.
Chaeri looked down at her bruised and aching hands - yeah, it was worth it.
"Hey kid, have a treat too"
She looked up again until she met Namjoon's eyes, as soft as the first time she met him. He was handing her the last goodie in the box.
"Thank you, Namjoon"

FIC REC WEEK 38 – WING FIC
AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT: iam93percentstardust
I feel like I could rec every single one of iam93percentstardust's fics, but since this series of theirs is one of my favorites, I decided to go for wing fic. I'm not going to rec every part of it, but you should definitely read the entire series, it's so good! iam93percentstardust is a fantastic writer, and if you haven't read their fics yet, you are missing out, my friend!
Here's some of their work that I think you should check out:
Eyes Turned Skyward
Pairing: Bucky/Tony
Rating: M
Words: 1,949
Tags: BDSM AU, Wing Grooming, Praise Kink
Summary: Tony has an erogenous zone at the base of his wings.
Bucky probably wouldn’t have even noticed if it hadn’t been for Nat brushing her fingers against Tony’s back at breakfast. It’s an innocuous motion, probably nothing more than to let Tony—who startles easily—know that she’s back there. But Tony stiffens.
And then he shudders.
And Bucky sits up and takes notice.
Reasons why I love it:
Aaah, how is this so soft and sexy all at the same time?! I love Bucky having magic hands when he's grooming the team, and especially when it's Tony he's using them on. And Tony being an utter brat but then completely melting at a gentle touch suits his character so well. I adore this fic, and I hope you check it out for yourself!
Lay the City Out at Your Feet
Pairing: Bucky/Tony
Rating: E
Words: 1,814
Tags: Light Bondage, Semi-Public Sex, Blow Jobs
Summary: “Kneel,” Bucky says and Tony does.
Tony kneels beautifully, gracefully folding at the knees, sinking down, and instinctually spreading his legs so that he balances without falling over. Bucky has to catch his breath every time Tony kneels for him, unable to fully believe that this lovely creature is all his.
Reasons why I love it:
This scene is so goddamn hot, I can't. I love how even in the midst of it, they're still talking about boundaries and Tony's limits, it shows how comfortable they are with each other. Their relationship is so beautiful! Definitely check this one out if you haven't, it's so good.
Won't Let You Sink
Pairing: Bucky/Tony
Rating: M
Words: 1,592
Tags: Aftercare, Subspace, Bathing/Washing
Summary: Bucky doesn’t usually like to give Tony a bath after a scene.
It’s not something that Tony really likes, not after Afghanistan, though even he agrees that it’s the best way for Bucky to clean a nonverbal, still down in subspace Tony. And Bucky just doesn’t like baths.
But sometimes, Tony gets too filthy during a scene for just a simple washcloth and if he’s still down deep, Bucky gets too worried about asking him to stand for a shower so they end up taking a bath instead.
Reasons why I love it:
I really enjoyed how Tony's waterboarding trauma is handled here. Bucky is so gentle with him, and Tony clearly knows how to work around his triggers, which makes for a lovely scene. I hope you check this one out, because it's fantastic!
Language of Love
Pairing: Bucky/Tony
Rating: T
Words: 2,440
Tags: Praise Kink, Hand Feeding, Subspace
Summary: When Bucky agreed to let Tony plan their first anniversary, he hadn’t expected Tony to tell him they would be spending the anniversary right at home in the tower. They had spent Tony’s birthday at his lakehouse in upstate New York and Bucky’s in Barcelona. For Valentine’s, Tony had flown them both to Paris. To be told that they’re going to stay here for their anniversary, an event that Bucky would argue is bigger than either Valentine’s or their birthdays, is a surprise to say the least.
But when he steps off the elevator to reveal the penthouse lights dimmed low, a picnic blanket spread out in front of the fireplace, and Tony standing nervously beside it, wearing nothing but the silk robe Bucky bought him for his birthday, he can’t bring himself to be upset by it.
Reasons why I love it:
Awww, this fic is so sweet, I feel like I'm melting. They love each other so much, and it's amazing to see how much trust there is between them. If you're in a bad mood today, definitely read this one – it'll perk you right up, I guarantee it!
Hold Me Closer
Pairing: Bucky/Tony
Rating: E
Words: 2,195
Tags: Subspace, Safeword Use, Blindfolds
Summary: Tony is floating.
Eyes closed, mouth parted, wings tucked up against his back, head lost in the clouds that make up his subspace, the collar around his throat the only thing anchoring him to the here and now, making sure he doesn’t float too far away. Sometimes, there’s a gentle, familiar hand on his head, ruffling his hair, and a rumbling voice that reminds him of home telling him what a good boy he’s being. Sometimes, there’s a spoon at his lips and that same voice urging him to try whatever is in the spoon. Sometimes, there’s a change in the vibrations teasing his prostate and his breath hitches and his hips jerk needily.
And always, always, he is floating alone amongst the clouds.
Reasons why I love it:
I really love the trust between Bucky and Tony here – especially considering Tony's history with Ty. I'm a sucker for safewording in fics when it's done like this – leading into something soft and gentle that shows how much they love each other. And the smut that follows is hot as hell. I love this one, and I bet you will too!

Tintin and Poirot AU but it's not what you'd expect
A news report announcing the death of the wonderboy Belgian reporter Tintin catches not only Hastings interest, but also Poirot's, though no one can guess why. Perhaps it's because his murder was similar to two other murders in Europe; one in Yorkshire and the other in Paris. Blunt force head injury and a slit neck.
But, things get interesting when Poirot is inspecting the murders and find himself at a nearby hotel in London, where one of the bellboys is mysteriously familiar... it bugs the detective, though he cannot think why the youngster with dark hair and blue eyes would have crossed his path. The only thing found in the suspect's room was a tiny teddy bear, its ear apparently cinged off. A toy Poirot had seen before, many years ago.
It was his first failed case, a murder in Belgium. A renowned reporter and detective killed along with his wife, then incinerated in a house fire. The only thing that survived was the cinged teddy bear and their son, barely 3 years old. Valentin Huyghebaert, a curious young boy who's stay with Poirot was only supposed to be temporary. He became his ward.
It wasn't until Chief Inspector Japp called him to the police station to question an arrested subject who was found digging around near one of the crime scenes.
The bellboy, but, without his uniform and lowered gaze, Poirot immediantly recognised the boy as his own ward, though his honey ginger hair had been dyed to a darker brown. He had apparently been living in London under the pseudonym Hubert Valentine; a bit on the nose, but it worked. But, Poirot mused, there was one small mystery: the boy had been one of the victims of the murders. How had he survived? A long story. He pulled out the bear. Valentin recognised it immediantly. It was his own, the only souvenir of that horrific night. Yet, as Japp began to question Valentin on how he knew the bear, the boy's eyes went wide and his hands began to tremble. "The murderer," he whispered, "he's the same as the one who killed them. He slit their throats, I'm sure of it."
The game shifts. This is no longer a new murder case. It is an old one, one that is reopened as Poirot tries to redeem his past self, and Valentin has been disguising the wrong part of himself. There are two faces to this boy, and the world knows one, so he put the other on instead, only to realise that this was the person they had tried to kill.
They stage another murder, this time the murder of Hubert Valentine to explain his sudden disappearance. He stays at Poirot's flat and enjoys his time with Miss Lemon, who is surprised to discover that he drinks tisane. (Only Poirot knows that Valentin is his ward; everyone else simply knows him as the victim of this strange case.)
By the time Poirot us ready to reveal the murderer, he has a trick up his sleeve. It is a full moon. The guests are seated in the sitting room. Poirot begins to recount the day he met Hubert in London, which ultimately led him to discussing the origional, first murder in Belgium. He pulls out the teddy bear, sits in near the window, and asks the teddy bear to recount the events that happened with that murder. It does. But, behind the curtains, waiting for the moment to strike, is Valentin, the true voice of the teddy bear. Poirot asks if there was a survivor. The bear confirms. Poirot asks for the lights to be turned off and pulls back the curtains. There, silhouetted against the moonlight, is what everyone assumes is the ghost of Hubert Valentine. Poirot asks who the murderer is. The ghost utters a single name. The murderer, panicked by the spirit in the window, flings himself to the window, but is stopped by a hand against his arm and a gun to his head. The lights are switched back on: Hubert is not dead.
They explain that it was staged, to hide the true identity of Valentin. But, his third identity is revealed, the more famous one, as Valentin recalls the night he was almost murdered. A blow to the head that almost knocked him unconscious but still left him able to fight, and a quick slice at his neck. It was a cut, but it was not deep, so he went to the nearest hospital, demanded that they sat nothing, and soon went to London to seek the help of his guardian. But where was he murdered?
In Brussels, Belgium. Hubert Valentine, the bellboy who happened to be Valentin Huyghebaert, the ward of Poirot was also...
Tintin, the famous boy reporter.
No wonder he was so marvelous at solving mysteries.
Hastings was aghast, finding out that nor only was Poirot in charge of a teenager's life, but said teenager was also the famous Tintin?
And so Poirot explains how originally, Tintin's supposed "murder" led the police to believe that the murderer had killed the reporter, not the son of the original victims. The teddy bear had been the clue all along; without it, Poirot would not have redeemed himself and the boy would almost likely be actually dead.
It worked out well. Tintin and Hastings had a marvellous time recounting their adventures, and Poirot enjoyed the little trio back to Belgium to make sure Tintin arrived at his flat safetly.
#Still need to actually iron things out but I do want to write this#Been watching Agatha Christie's Poirot and have been tempted to try my hand at mysteries#Gore#Death#Murder#Tintin#Poirot#tintin and poirot#Idk

S5 reading of the titles
Episode 1, Sympathy for the Devil: [we did right before watching. It was like. There’s sympathy for the devil. Lucifer is actually nice/good. Might get Lucifer’s backstory/a villain monologue]
Episode 2, Good God, Y'all!: Iga, something to do with God, and Cas, Cas has a conversation with Sam and Dean. Kai, more God lore. Like, the angels didn’t do this, who did this? Iga, God lore, God involvement, God’s around—maybe! Maybe God’s around.
Episode 3, Free To Be You and Me: Kai, Lucifer trying to convince people over to his side. Iga, but what does that mean though? Lucifer wants to punish God, the angels want to stop Lucifer… and then what? The demons want to live on earth and be free, which is reasonable, but what about the angels? Are they bored? [I’m not responding to this.]
Episode 4, The End: Iga, you giggle about this one. You’re excited about this one. [Haha, yeah. I think what I actually said is this one is going to destroy you, Iga, personally. But not in the way you think.] Does Cas… orgasm? Does Cas have sex? [(I am laughing uncontrollably.) Can we stop talking about this.] Kai, Chuck finishes the book.
Episode 5, Fallen Idols: Iga, fallen angels is a thing, so maybe it’s about more of those? Kai, people are fighting to be the next God. Iga, I don’t know why Kardashians come to mind, they’re not going to be there. Kai, but isn’t Paris Hilton in Supernatural at some point?
Epside 6, I Believe the Children Are Our Future: Pass
Episode 7, The Curious Case of Dean Winchester: Iga, he’s curious. Kai, he gets diagnosed with autism. Iga, it’s a Dean episode. It’s centred around Dean. Kai, and his autism. Iga, maybe it’s a goofy Dean lore episode, where they like study Dean.
Episode 8, Changing Channels: Kai, isn’t there something about being attuned to the angel channels? Iga, Anna was, but she was an angel. Kai, I think it’s going to be something to do with that. Iga, or about switching sides.
[(they said I was smiling.) This episode holds a special place in my heart. I like it. I think it’s good. I think you’ll enjoy it.]
Episode 9, The Real Ghostbusters: Kai, the Ghostfacers come back. Iga, I would like that. It could also be MotW, classic ghost hunting thing. Or maybe they literally meet the real ghostbusters.
Epsiode 10, Abandon All Hope...: Kai, I think things might be looking a bit bleak. Iga, yeah… what number is this? [Episode 10. It’s the midseason finale.] I sussed that out somehow. It’ll tell us how the finale will go. They abandon hope. Maybe they meet God and he’s useless.
Episode 11, Sam, Interrupted: Kai, psych ward episode. Iga, yeah I guess. Kai, I think there’s a very specific famous gif in this one.
Episode 12, Swap Meat: Iga, the first thing I thought was Freaky Friday. The word meat throws me off, it’s very fleshy. Kai, yeah. Maybe motw. Iga, maybe it’s a shapeshifter. They like bringing those back. But Freaky Friday might be fun.
Episode 13, The Song Remains the Same: Kai, I think they might be fighting against fate again. Iga, I think that’s a good guess. Inevitability, destiny, all that.
Episode 14, My Bloody Valentine: 0 ideas. Iga, maybe it’s valentines day. Or someone dies. Kai, one of the brothers fucks. We get a sex scene. Hopefully Dean.
Episode 15, Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid: 0 ideas. Iga, why can’t they wear plaid? I don’t understand. Maybe it’s about a ghost lumberjack who wants to wear plaid. Kai, but Dean wears a lot of plaid. Iga, maybe Dean is naked. Kai, maybe Dean dies.
Episode 16, Dark Side of the Moon: Pass
Episode 17, 99 Problems: Iga, but a bitch ain’t one. [(they laughed) No, correct. That’s the reference. You don’t know what that means, but you’re right.] Kai, do they kill Meg?
Episode 18, Point of No Return: Pass
Episode 19, Hammer of the Gods: Kai, I think Dean might get possessed by Michael. Iga, but Dean is the sword, maybe there’s another vessel who’s a hammer. No, it’s about Dean. He’s the tool.
Episode 20, The Devil You Know: Iga, Lucifer, Lucifer lore? Kai, maybe there’s a bigger bad than Lucifer? Iga, maybe they meet Lucifer and are like, maybe he has a pint, but Dean is like no, the devil is bad, and they get their ass kicked.
Epsiode 21, Minutes to Midnight: Iga, well that’s. That’s the one where the worlds ending. So that. The world is ending. It’s also the penultimate episode.
Episode 22, Swan Song: Iga, I know swan song means something, but I can’t remember what. Kai, isn’t it your last song before you die? [It is a phrase, I believe it’s a misconception, but the idea that swans only sing when they’re about to die.] Iga, killing Lucifer? So we’re killing Lucifer? Kai, or God. Iga, it’s not God. Someone important like Cas is going to sacrifice themselves for the killing of Lucifer, and Dean is going so say wahhh bring them back please, and then they come back at some point. Kai, maybe it’s Sam who sacrifices himself to kill Lucifer, because it’s kind of his fault and he feels bad. Iga, I mean, Dean also did cause it as well. Kai, yeah, they all kinda did, but Sam did the last bit and actually rose Lucifer. [I missed something here but] Iga, someone is crying about someone bringing someone back. Kai, but we do know that Dean has a moment that Dean has a moment when Dean says wahhh bring Cas back. [lol, one?] Iga, I just feel like every season finale has someone sacrificing themselves for something. So someone that we don’t want to die is going to die, and then get brought back.
