How did the band form? 

Joker Out was formed from two bands, Apokalipsa and Buržuazija. 

Apokalipsa included Bojan Cvjetićanin (vocals), Martin Jurkovič (bass) and Matic Kovačič (drums) 

They gained some traction with young people around Slovenia, particularly with their song 'Mogoče' ('Maybe'), which you can watch on YouTube here.

They came to the attention of Kris Guštin, who was inspired to start learning guitar! He discusses the details in this video (at 9:40). 

Kris then met Jan Peteh, another student of his guitar teacher, and at their teachers advice, they formed the band Buržuazija. 

Bojan attended their second ever gig in 2016, and decided these two excellent guitarists were exactly what had been missing from Apokalipsa, as he wasn’t happy with their current guitarists. He asked them to join, and they accepted

The new lineup (Bojan, Jan, Kris, Martin and Matic) decided to rename themselves Joker Out. The name means nothing, but they thought it sounded good and was the ‘least horrible’ of all the ideas they could think of. 

So, in 2016, Joker Out was officially formed! 

November 2016, Kot srce ki kri poganja: 

Joker Out’s first music video was for their song ‘Kot srce ki kri poganja’ ('Like a heart that pumps blood'), filmed in Jan’s hometown of Vrhnika! We eventually got this song on Spotify on their 2023 album Live from Arena Stožice!

June 2017, Špil Liga:

One of the earliest performances for Joker Out was at Špil Liga, a competition for young bands in Slovenia. They won, and recorded their winning song, Omamljeno telo (intoxicated body) in November as part of the prize.

c.2017/18, Bojan’s attempt at going solo:

The band took a hiatus c.2017/18, and Bojan considered going solo at that time, even working with a few producers. He eventually realised that he belonged with the band! Hear him tell the story:

2019, A change up for the band:

The band began working with their current producer, Žare Pak, and their videographer Mark Pirc, in 2019 - both of whom have been referred to as the sixth member of the band. This led to a change in their sound and production quality, which culminated in ‘Gola’ ('Naked'), the first of their songs to be a big hit!

Zlata piščal ('Golden Flute') - Best New Artist 2019:

Joker Out won their first Zlata piščal award in 2019, for best new artist (one of many they’d go on to win!) This is a kind of Slovenian Grammy! Covid interrupted the proceedings, but you can see their interview for it here (3m 59s)-

Umazane misli, and a new member: 

During the Covid times, the band began recording their first studio album, 'Umazane misli' ('Dirty thoughts'), which was originally going to be released in March 2020 but was repeatedly delayed until October 2021. The first half was recorded with drummer Matic Kovačič, but the band felt they needed something extra and brought in Jure Maček to help write the arrangements. They loved him so much, he never left!

COVID times, and Cvetličarna: 

The band had arranged to do two concerts at Cvetličarna, a very important venue in Slovenia and a big break for them. This was delayed several times due to Covid, but eventually managed to go ahead in October 2021 for the release of their first album.

Umazane misli album launch: 

'Umazane misli' was extremely well received! The band would go on to win two more Zlata piščal awards, Newcomers of the Year in 2020 and Artist of the Year in 2021.

An acting career for Bojan? 

Around the same time as 'Umazane misli' was released, Bojan began considering an acting career. He acted in two episodes of the series ‘Gospod Professor’ and in another series, which was eventually reworked as a film called ‘Kaj pa Ester’ and released in December 2023. He decided music was his passion though, and he wanted to fully focus on that.

September 2022, Križanke:

The band got straight to work writing their second album, 'Demoni' ('Demons'), and decided to present it in September 2022 at Križanke, another hugely important venue in Slovenia. This whole concert wasn’t recorded, but we have an interesting advertisement they did for it, an interview and a clip of one song live from Križanke!

Another new member! 

After Križanke at the end of 2022, Martin Jurkovič, one of the founding members of the band, made the decision to leave to focus on his studies.

2023, Eurovision:

Joker Out were then internally selected to go to Eurovision 2023, and began recording their Eurovision song, 'Carpe Diem', in Hamburg in December 2022. To learn more, you can watch the Carpe Diem series, a documentary series which followed their entire journey.

Luckily, the best was still to come for Joker Out! The rest of 2023 was spent on an extremely successful European tour, and they also released their first English single, 'Sunny Side of London', in September.

6th of October 2023, Stožice:

All of this, however, was building up to Stožice. This is the biggest closed venue in Slovenia and Joker Out managed to sell out their October show there - an extremely important milestone for Slovenian artists.

London era and Everybody’s Waiting: 

Joker Out spent the beginning of 2024 in London, where they wrote new music, did live cooking shows on Instagram and met the incredibly talented photographer, Damon Baker, who did a beautiful series of photoshoots with them. They also released their next English single, 'Everybody’s Waiting', in February.

My WHV Timeline

I got that WHV with my name on it!

This post is going to be super long! Jadi, karena aku termasuk tipe yang suka menceritakan semua hal secara detail dan memang sudah niat juga sih, aku pengen tulis ini sebagai kenang-kenangan karena aku berhasil mendapatkan WHV!

Here’s my timeline, each moment a small but sweet step toward the dream: 12-02-2024: The day I made a quiet but powerful promise to myself—to see my name on that WHV, no matter what. 02-03-2024: Took my visa photos. Just one tiny step, but it felt like a step toward something big. 23-04-2024: Got my SKCK done at Mabes Polri. A little closer, a little more real. 22-05-2024: Took the PTE test, butterflies in my stomach, but my sights set firmly on the goal. 08-10-2024: Prepared my bank reference letter, and then—out of nowhere—the SDUWHV opening was announced! My heart raced; it was really happening. 10-10-2024: Received that precious SDUWHV letter. Holding it felt surreal, like I was holding a piece of my future. 25-10-2024: Lodged my visa application, sending off all my hopes and dreams along with it. 27-10-2024: Completed my Medical Check-Up (MCU), feeling both excitement and calm; the finish line was in sight. 12-11-2024: The day that made everything worth it—Visa granted! I felt pure joy, knowing the adventure of a lifetime was now just around the corner.

Jadi, aku sudah mengincar program WHV ini dari tahun lalu, gara-gara orang-orang di sekitarku tiba-tiba banyak yang berangkat ke Australia. Honestly, back in 2021, aku juga sempat berandai-andai, "Asyik juga ya kalau bisa ke Melbourne," waktu itu mikirnya pengen lanjut kuliah lagi, sih. Plus, one of my bucket list items is to work abroad, dan rasanya negara yang paling potensial buat goal itu adalah Australia. Banyak orang Pontianak juga yang hijrah ke sana, jadi makin kebayang, deh. Impian itu aku pendam, sambil terus cari kesempatan dan peluang, supaya bisa mewujudkan one of my ultimate dreams.

Ternyata, di tahun 2024, aku merasakan dorongan yang kuat untuk mengejar visa ini. Aku mulai mencari tahu semua persyaratannya, dan langkah pertama yang harus diambil adalah mendapatkan surat sakti SDUWHV. Nah, untuk bisa mendapatkan SDUWHV, ternyata ada beberapa persyaratan lagi yang harus dipenuhi. Waktu itu, aku masih berpatokan pada persyaratan tahun 2023, yaitu: foto, KTP, paspor, sertifikat bahasa Inggris, SKCK, ijazah, surat keterangan bank, dan surat keabsahan dokumen. Jadi, pelan-pelan aku mulai melengkapi semua dokumen yang bisa dicicil dulu sebelum pembukaan SDUWHV.

02 Maret 2024 Sore ini, aku pergi ke studio foto untuk ambil pas foto visa. Sempat bingung karena belum pernah foto visa sebelumnya, tapi untungnya studio tersebut sudah paham ketentuannya. Mereka mengarahkan dan membantu pengambilan foto serta pencetakan sesuai kebutuhan. Aku juga sekalian print ekstra untuk bikin SKCK.

28 Maret 2024 Setelah mendaftar antre online lewat aplikasi, pagi ini aku melakukan rekam sidik jari di Polda Kalbar. Aku datang pagi-pagi sekali agar bisa mendapat antrean pertama. Staff di sana dengan cekatan membantu dan sempat bertanya, "Apa tujuannya?" Aku jawab, "Untuk ke Australia, Pak." Mereka sangat mendukung dan turut mendoakan semoga prosesku lancar hingga mendapatkan visanya.

Perekaman sidik jari ini adalah salah satu syarat untuk membuat SKCK. Awalnya, aku pikir masih bisa membuat SKCK dengan tujuan WHV di Polda Kalbar, tapi ternyata sekarang ketentuannya sudah berubah dan harus diurus di Mabes Polri. Sempat bingung juga kalau harus ke Jakarta untuk mengurus SKCK. Beruntungnya, temanku bisa pergi ke Jakarta dan mewakilkan aku untuk membuat SKCK, dan pada 23 April 2024, SKCK-ku akhirnya terbit.

22 Mei 2024 Lanjut, dokumen-dokumen yang mudah sudah berhasil aku kumpulkan. Sekarang tantangan berikutnya adalah lolos tes Bahasa Inggris. Ada beberapa pilihan tes yang bisa diambil, dan dua yang paling populer adalah IELTS dan PTE. Kebetulan di Pontianak tersedia tes PTE, jadi aku memilih PTE saja. Jadwal tesnya juga lebih fleksibel. Sebenarnya, aku sudah mulai persiapan IELTS dari awal tahun, tapi H-2 bulan ini aku mulai intens belajar untuk PTE setiap malam dari YouTube dan website PTE Study, agar skorku tidak hanya lolos, tapi juga memuaskan. Sudah lama aku tidak merasakan sensasi belajar sambil menunggu-nunggu hari ujian.

Hari itu akhirnya tiba: hari tes PTE-ku. Lokasi tes di gedung PTE Academic, Universitas Tanjungpura, persis di depan fakultas kampusku dulu—nostalgia, hehe. Jadwal tesku jam 11. Pagi itu aku terbangun dengan deg-degan, rasanya seperti menghadapi ujian akhir semester lagi. Ada skor minimal yang harus aku capai (minimal 30), dan kalau tidak lolos, berarti harus mengulang tes—yang berarti keluar biaya lagi.

Jam 8.30, aku pergi ke kafe sendirian untuk sarapan sambil mengulas tips dan trik dari setiap bagian tes. Setelah itu, aku pasrahkan semuanya pada usahaku sejauh ini. Jam 10.00 aku berangkat ke gedung ujian. Setibanya di sana, aku melakukan registrasi. Ujiannya terasa cukup formal, mungkin karena ini tes internasional. Setiap sesi hanya bisa diikuti oleh 6 orang, jadi jadwalnya memang terbatas. Aku duduk di komputer nomor 1, dan semua tes dilakukan secara komputerisasi. Jawaban kita direkam dan disimpan dalam sistem. Menurutku, bagian yang paling sulit adalah writing, haha, karena temanya tidak diketahui sebelumnya dan mendadak aku merasa blank harus menyusun kata-kata seperti apa.

Dua jam berlalu, dan tes akhirnya selesai. Kata petugasnya, hasilnya bisa keluar dalam waktu 2 jam dan akan dikirim melalui email. Setidaknya, salah satu tahapan sudah kulewati, dan aku hanya bisa berdoa semoga hasilnya sesuai harapan! Seusai ujian, aku pergi makan ramen bersama teman yang juga ikut tes. Kami sempat berandai-andai seolah-olah sudah siap berangkat ke Australia dan visa sudah di tangan—padahal waktu itu, jadwal pembukaan SDUWHV saja belum pasti.

Sore itu aku lalui dengan harap-harap cemas menunggu skor. Dan… akhirnya, malamnya, hasilnya keluar! Skorku jeng jeng jeng… 81/90! Not bad! Aku langsung merasa lega. Satu langkah lebih dekat. Salah satu dokumen penting sudah ada di tangan, dan malam itu aku bisa tidur dengan tenang.

01 Juli 2024 Jujur, di tanggal ini aku sempat deg-degan banget. Soalnya, aku pernah lihat di IG Kedubes Australia yang memposting bahwa pendaftaran program WHV tahun 2023 sudah ditutup, dan pendaftaran WHV untuk tahun 2024 akan dibuka pada 1 Juli 2024. Kupikir itu adalah hari “war” untuk SDUWHV. Ternyata, itu adalah tanggal pembukaan kembali untuk lodge visa WHV. Waktu itu aku masih belum paham, haha, jadi aku sudah ngebut mempersiapkan segalanya dari awal. Pas tanggal 1 Juli tiba, ternyata tidak ada info apa pun dari Ditjen Imigrasi.

Sebulan… dua bulan berlalu…

Tidak ada kabar dari MIDO soal pembukaan SDUWHV. Hingga akhirnya, tanggal 02 September 2024, muncul pengumuman dari MIDO yang membawa kabar gembira: pembukaan kuota SDUWHV akan segera dilaksanakan! Deg-degan makin terasa! Lalu, pada 27 September 2024, MIDO mengumumkan bahwa untuk tahun 2024 hanya akan ada satu batch SDUWHV. That means, hanya ada satu kesempatan untuk “war”—jika tidak berhasil, berarti harus coba lagi tahun depan.

Overthinking dan kalut semakin terasa. Ada ketakutan terselubung, “What if aku nggak dapat?” Pasti akan sangat kecewa, karena ini adalah impian yang sudah lama aku nantikan—satu kesempatan berharga untuk explore dunia luar, bekerja di luar negeri, dan melalang buana, melihat dunia dari perspektif yang berbeda.

08 Oktober 2024 Siang itu, aku sedang santai-santai mengurus surat keterangan bank di BCA. Ini kali ketiga aku datang ke CS untuk minta surat tersebut, sampai-sampai CS-nya masih ingat dan bilang, “Lho, Cece lagi, bikin surat referensi bank lagi ya, Ce? Kapan buka kuotanya? Btw, tadi sebelum Cece juga ada yang minta surat keterangan bank, lho.” Aku cuma bisa tertawa kecil, ini sudah ketiga kalinya aku minta surat yang sama, haha.

Di saat yang hampir bersamaan, aku melihat postingan di IG Ditjen Imigrasi yang menyatakan bahwa tanggal pembukaan kuota SDUWHV adalah 10 Oktober 2024—which is lusa ini! Hatiku langsung berdetak tidak karuan! Malam itu, aku bahkan tidak bisa tidur dengan tenang, memikirkan semua persiapan untuk “war” yang harus semaksimal mungkin. Aku cek berulang-ulang file dokumen yang perlu diunggah, membaca kembali semua ketentuan agar tidak ada informasi sekecil apa pun yang terlewat.

Untungnya, aku sudah membuat akun di website-nya sebelumnya, jadi tidak perlu repot di tahap ini. Banyak pengaju lain yang mengalami error karena terlalu banyak orang yang membuat akun di waktu bersamaan.

10 Oktober 2024 Hari war dimulai! Pagi ini aku bangun lebih awal dari biasanya. Jujur, semalaman aku hampir tidak bisa tidur. Yang ada di pikiranku hanya satu: aku ingin bisa melewati hari ini dengan tenang dan lega. Banyak cerita dari tahun lalu tentang war SDUWHV yang katanya menegangkan dan “hidup-mati”—hanya ada satu kesempatan, dan kalau tidak berhasil, harus menunggu batch berikutnya yang entah kapan diadakan lagi. Jadi, hari ini, no matter what, aku harus mendapatkan surat sakti itu.

Jam 9 teng war dimulai. Laptop sudah siap, Wi-Fi aman, website sudah dibuka, dan akun sudah login. Masih menunjukkan pukul 08.45, tapi hatiku sudah dag-dig-dug, dan waktu terasa lambat. Detik demi detik berlalu sampai jam 9 tiba. Aku berpikir, Pasti bisa kok, sudah doa dan yakin. Tapi… tiba-tiba website down, dan aku ter-logout sendiri. Panik! Aku coba login lagi, hasilnya nihil, hanya muncul pesan error! Semakin panik, aku baca di grup, ternyata banyak yang mengalami hal yang sama. Temanku juga mengatakan hal yang sama, semua orang kesulitan login ke website.

Jam 9.11 aku berhasil masuk. Pengaju sudah terisi 423 dari kuota 4.796. Panik lagi! Aku coba segala cara—refresh browser, buka incognito, buka berbagai jenis browser—supaya bisa klik tab permohonan. Jika tombol “Ajukan Permohonan” berwarna biru, artinya kita bisa masuk ke halaman pendaftaran. Setelah beberapa waktu, tombol itu akhirnya berwarna biru. Aku langsung bersujud syukur, segera mengisi biodata dengan cepat karena waktu yang diberikan hanya 15 menit. Halaman 1 lancar, halaman 2 lancar, tapi di halaman 3, tersendat! Panik lagi! Setiap file yang aku coba unggah gagal. Waktu semakin habis. Aku coba ganti Wi-Fi ke tethering HP, tapi tetap gagal. Hingga waktu benar-benar habis, dan permohonanku terpental. Aku pun ter-logout sendiri.

Lemas… Rasanya mau nangis.

Usahaku seketika runtuh. Aku coba login lagi ke website tapi tidak bisa!

Aku pikir itu satu-satunya kesempatan, dan kalau sudah terpental berarti kesempatan itu hangus. Dunia rasanya runtuh. Tapi aku baca di grup lagi untuk mencari solusi. Mereka bilang coba terus masuk lagi dan ulangi dari awal. Akhirnya, meskipun panik, aku tetap mencoba. Ter-logout hingga ratusan kali kualami saat itu. Sampai akhirnya aku mendapat kesempatan kedua. Cepat-cepat aku isi lagi dan cek semuanya, tapi lagi-lagi terkendala di halaman ketiga untuk unggah file. Dan kembali lagi terpental sama seperti sebelumnya. Rasanya dunia runtuh untuk kedua kalinya. Kesempatan berharga yang kedua kali terbuang begitu saja. Kupikir semesta belum berpihak padaku.

Namun, aku tetap mencoba lagi dan lagi hingga masuk kesempatan ketiga. Kuota sudah terisi 3.000-an orang. Angka terus bertambah, mungkin karena banyak peminat dari seluruh Indonesia. Di IG MIDO, banyak yang protes dan mengeluh, hingga MIDO memberi pernyataan resmi bahwa pemohon mencapai 12.000 orang, sementara kuota hanya 4.796. Tidak heran jika website down. Tapi aku tetap berdoa. Aku yakin, surat sakti itu akan ada di tanganku hari ini! Akhirnya, aku berhasil masuk untuk ketiga kalinya, dan entah keajaiban dari mana aku bisa unggah semua file dengan bantuan tetheringHP. Aku langsung submit tanpa memikirkan sisa waktu, berserah. Yang penting aku sudah berusaha maksimal dan mengikuti semua prosedur.

Ternyata, untuk tahun ini, SDUWHV akan terbit di hari yang sama sekitar 1 jam setelah pengajuan diterima dan diverifikasi. Meski sudah lega karena berhasil submit, aku masih harus menunggu terbitnya SDUWHV. Dua jam berlalu tanpa kabar, membuatku cemas. Aku selesai submit jam 11.59, seharusnya jam 1 siang sudah terbit, tapi belum juga. Jujur, aku takut kalau ada dokumen yang terverifikasi gagal atau ada halangan lain, bahkan takut ditolak. Overthinking semakin menjadi-jadi. Aku hanya bisa duduk diam di depan laptop, menunggu status berubah ke penerbitan SDUWHV.

Tidak ada mood untuk makan sejak pagi hingga jam 14.40 sore, saat surat sakti itu akhirnya terbit!

Mau nangis bahagia! Tidak tahu lagi bagaimana mengekspresikan perasaanku. Ini adalah langkah awal untuk bisa apply WHV. Saat aku buka dan baca SDUWHV itu, rasanya seperti mimpi. Dari bulan Februari aku memimpikan ini, dan ini hari dimana aku benaar-benar mendapatkan surat berharga ini. Terima kasih banyak, Tuhan!

13 Oktober 2024 Hari Minggu yang cerah, aku memutuskan untuk fokus lodge visa. Karena ini pertama kalinya aku lodge visa, rasanya cukup deg-degan. Untungnya, aku punya banyak panduan yang bisa diikuti. Tapi tetap saja, aku sempat bingung—gimana caranya lodge visa kalau aku belum MCU? Kebingungan pertamaku: apa itu HAP ID, dan gimana caranya daftar MCU? Blank total. Untungnya, temanku mengirimkan link YouTube yang menjelaskan langkah-langkahnya. Baru deh aku paham prosesnya, termasuk cara mendapatkan HAP ID dan daftar MCU.

Aku segera menghubungi rumah sakit yang khusus untuk MCU Visa Australia, yaitu RS Premier Jatinegara. Aku memilih jadwal MCU hari Minggu, 27 Oktober 2024. Awalnya, aku berencana MCU pada 20 Oktober 2024, tapi karena suatu alasan, aku mau rescheduleke RS Bintaro. Sayangnya, RS Bintaro tidak melayani MCU pada hari Minggu. Akhirnya, aku kembali ke jadwal awal di RS Jatinegara. Namun, karena aku sudah mengajukan reschedule, jadwalku tanggal 20 Oktober hangus, jadi aku harus mundur jadwal MCU-ku ke tanggal 27 Oktober 2024.

23 Oktober 2024 Karena belum MCU, aku memutuskan untuk save dulu permohonan lodgement visa-ku. Alurnya memang bisa lodge visa dulu baru MCU, tapi aku belum punya dokumen yang di-translate, jadi rasanya lebih baik MCU dulu. Aku pun mulai mencari penerjemah tersumpah untuk menerjemahkan beberapa dokumen pendukung, seperti akta lahir dan kartu keluarga. Sayangnya, jadwal penerjemah penuh! Aku jadi menyesal kenapa tidak mengurus terjemahan lebih awal. Tapi, sudahlah. Aku terus menghubungi beberapa penerjemah tersumpah yang menerima layanan express. Untungnya, aku dapat Pak Joseph yang menyediakan layanan express dengan waktu pengerjaan 2 hari kerja. Dokumenku selesai diterjemahkan pada tanggal 23 Oktober 2024.

Saat aku mengecek hasil terjemahan dokumen—FYI, aku hanya menerjemahkan akta lahir dan kartu keluarga karena dokumen lainnya sudah bilingual—aku baru sadar kalau nama orangtuaku berbeda antara akta lahir dan KK. Wah, ini bikin aku galau berat. Seharusnya, aku lebih teliti sebelumnya untuk memastikan dokumen-dokumenku tidak ada masalah kecil seperti ini yang bisa menghambat proses visaku. Sebagai tambahan kekhawatiranku, SKCK-ku juga expired tepat tanggal 23 Oktober 2024. Aku tahu, SKCK adalah dokumen opsional untuk visa ini, tapi semakin banyak dokumen pendukung yang diunggah, kemungkinan visa granted akan lebih besar. Sayangnya, aku tidak punya waktu untuk memperpanjang SKCK karena harus mengurusnya langsung di Mabes Polri.

Aku bertanya di grup, dan mereka memastikan bahwa SKCK tidak wajib diunggah. Tapi tetap saja, aku merasa was-was. Tidak ada jaminan pasti apakah visaku akan grantedtanpa SKCK. Di tengah drama ini, muncul lagi kabar kalau ada masalah di immiaccount—katanya banyak yang tidak bisa lodge visa karena website error. Bahkan, beberapa orang menyebarkan rumor bahwa pendaftaran visa akan ditutup sampai tahun depan. Wah, ini benar-benar bikin panik dan overthinking.

Benar saja, malam itu, setelah aku mendapatkan hasil terjemahan dokumen, aku mencoba lodge visa. Tapi ternyata, immiaccount benar-benar tidak bisa diakses. Memang, aku sudah menyimpan semua data sejak 13 Oktober 2024, tapi halaman tersebut tidak bisa dilanjutkan. Yang muncul hanya notifikasi maintenance, dan itu membuatku semakin galau karena tidak bisa memproses visaku. Padahal, aku hanya tinggal lodge dan membayar biaya permohonan visa. Rasanya frustrasi karena sudah begitu dekat, tapi masih terhalang masalah teknis.

Hari itu, pikiranku penuh dengan kekhawatiran: soal nama orangtua yang tidak sinkron, SKCK expired, masalah immiaccount, dan waktu yang terus berjalan.

Rasanya seperti drama tak berujung.

Tiap jam aku terus refresh immiaccount, berharap ada perubahan. Aku juga rajin cek grup, siapa tahu ada teman-teman yang berbagi info kalau maintenance sudah selesai. Tapi tetap saja, hasilnya nihil—selalu gagal. Mungkin karena terlalu banyak orang yang mencoba lodge WHV ini, jadi aksesnya dibatasi. Aku mulai merasa menyesal, kenapa aku tidak lebih cekatan dan mengamankan lodge visa lebih awal. Overthinking pun muncul. Bagaimana kalau benar-benar kuota tahunan ditutup dan baru dibuka tahun depan? Kalau itu terjadi, perjuangan war SDUWHV-ku jadi sia-sia. Pikiran-pikiran itu membuatku tidak bisa tidur, hati gelisah, benar-benar galau.

Sampai akhirnya, 25 Oktober 2024, sekitar jam 12 siang, aku coba login ke immiaccount lagi, dan ternyata BISA! Tanpa pikir panjang, aku langsung lodge visa dan melakukan pembayaran. Untungnya, semua dokumen sudah aku unggah dan simpan sebelumnya, jadi begitu maintenance selesai, aku tinggal klik submit. Syukurlah, pada 25 Oktober 2024, jam 12.29, visaku tersubmit dan status berubah menjadi received.

Lega banget rasanya!

Tapi, tidak lama kemudian muncul kekhawatiran baru. Aku sudah punya HAP ID yang aku request sendiri sebelumnya, tapi aku lodge visa-nya dulu sebelum MCU. Saat lodge, ada pertanyaan apakah sudah pernah MCU sebelumnya. Kalau sudah, aku tinggal memasukkan HAP ID-ku. Masalahnya, aku belum MCU, tapi HAP ID-ku sudah ada. Kalau aku tidak memasukkan HAP ID, nanti malah dapat HAP ID baru dari imigrasi, yang berarti bisa jadi double. Bingung banget! Akhirnya, aku tetap nekat lodge visa dengan menyertakan HAP ID-ku yang aku request di awal, meskipun aku belum MCU. Aku hanya bisa berdoa semoga tidak ada masalah besar karena keputusan ini.

27 Oktober 2024 Aku berangkat ke Jakarta malam Minggu, 26 Oktober 2024, dengan penerbangan sore jam 6. Pesawat sempat sedikit delay, tapi aku tetap tenang karena Sabtu sore setelah pulang kerja aku tidak perlu terburu-buru mengejar ke bandara. Untungnya, proses MCU tidak lama, jadi aku tidak perlu mengajukan cuti. Tapi tentu saja, muncul lagi kekhawatiran baru. Malam sebelum MCU, aku haid! Panik lagi, karena salah satu persyaratan MCU adalah tes urin. Kenapa ya rasanya selalu ada saja masalah bertubi-tubi?

Sabtu pagi, aku benar-benar galau. Aku langsung memastikan ke pihak RS apakah aku masih bisa lanjut MCU dengan kondisi haid. Kalau tidak, aku harus reschedule tiket pesawat dan jadwal MCU, yang mana saat ini MCU sedang penuh-penuhnya karena banyak pengaju visa yang daftar. Kebayang antrean panjang dan waktu tunggu yang makin lama, dan itu bikin aku khawatir proses visaku jadi semakin tertunda. Untungnya, pihak RS mengonfirmasi bahwa tes urin sudah tidak lagi menjadi bagian dari MCU untuk visa ini. Lega banget!!! Setidaknya, aku tidak perlu reschedule, dan proses MCU bisa tetap berjalan sesuai jadwal.

Pagi itu, aku sampai di RS Premier Jatinegara sekitar jam 6.30 pagi dan langsung menuju tempat MCU di lantai 7. Meskipun pelayanannya baru buka jam 8, sekitar jam 7 lebih aku sudah diperbolehkan masuk untuk pengisian administrasi oleh stafnya. Estimasi awal, aku dapat giliran jam 9.05, tapi karena aku datang pertama, aku langsung dapat antrean pertama.

Jam 8.30, aku dipanggil untuk cek fisik dan mata. Dokternya melakukan sedikit wawancara tentang riwayat kesehatan dan menanyakan beberapa hal seputar diri kita. Setelah itu, dilakukan pemeriksaan fisik seperti cek nafas, detak jantung, dan refleks tubuh. Kemudian, lanjut ke tes mata seperti membaca huruf-huruf pada papan optik.

Selanjutnya, aku diarahkan ke ruangan kedua untuk timbang berat badan, cek tinggi badan, dan tensi. Di sini, aku juga diberitahu bahwa hasil MCU akan dikirimkan langsung ke imigrasi Australia dalam 3 hari kerja. Hasilnya bisa mulai ditanyakan pada H+1 setelah selesai. Setelah itu, aku diarahkan ke ruangan lain untuk pengambilan darah. Sebelum tes, aku sempat disarankan untuk banyak minum air agar hasilnya lebih baik. Oh ya, seminggu sebelum MCU, aku sampai nyetok susu Bear Brand dan minum rutin karena katanya itu bagus untuk kesehatan, terutama paru-paru. Did it work? Aku nggak tahu pasti, tapi aku tetap mengikuti saran orang-orang, siapa tahu memang ada manfaatnya.

Setelah selesai di lantai 7, aku lanjut ke kasir untuk melakukan pembayaran, kemudian diarahkan ke radiologi untuk Chest X-Ray. Proses Chest X-Ray cukup cepat ternyata. Saat tes, kita diminta mengikuti arahan staf, seperti cara bernapas yang sesuai prosedur. Di ruangan ini, kita hanya diperbolehkan memakai baju luar tanpa aksesoris seperti kalung, agar tidak mengganggu hasil foto. Seluruh proses MCU telah dipenuhi. Malamnya, aku pun langsung terbang kembali ke Pontianak.

MCU selesai! Berarti, aku tinggal menunggu hasilnya di-submit oleh pihak RS dan difinalisasi oleh imigrasi Australia.

Keesokan harinya setelah MCU, status Health Assessment di immiaccount-ku berubah menjadi finalised. Artinya, hasil MCU-ku bagus, dan pihak RS juga mengonfirmasi bahwa semua hasil normal. Lega rasanya! At least, aku tidak perlu MCU ulang, dan peluangku untuk granted semakin besar.

Tapi, apakah aku bisa menunggu dengan tenang? Oh, tentu tidak!

Masih ingat kekhawatiranku sebelumnya? Soal SKCK, aku sudah tidak terlalu cemas karena membaca banyak pengalaman orang yang tetap granted meskipun tanpa SKCK. Kalau pun nanti diminta, aku pikir aku bisa memperpanjang SKCK lagi.

Namun, yang benar-benar jadi sumber overthinking setiap hari adalah perbedaan nama orang tua di akta lahir dan kartu keluarga. Tiap hari aku kepikiran, apalagi setelah membaca case di Facebook tentang orang-orang yang kena random check karena masalah data ini. Ada yang harus bikin surat pernyataan kalau nama itu mengacu pada orang yang sama, ada juga yang diminta update KK, yang jelas itu semua butuh waktu dan proses yang tidak cepat, belum lagi harus di-translate lagi. Banyak juga yang bilang kalau tahu data ada perbedaan seperti ini, jangan coba-coba unggah KK karena bisa jadi malah bikin posisi kita lebih sulit kalau terkena random check. Rasanya, setiap hari aku tidak bisa tidur tenang, hanya bisa berdoa agar prosesku berjalan mulus dan visaku tidak menemui hambatan.

12 November 2024 18 hari berlalu sejak lodge visa dan selesai MCU. Setiap hari, aku rajin login ke immiaccount, berharap status visaku berubah dari received menjadi finalised dan granted. Tapi, nihil. Aku juga cek email berkali-kali, namun tidak ada notifikasi baru. Sementara itu, di grup, banyak pejuang WHV lain yang visanya sudah granted, dan aku mulai memperhatikan polanya—ternyata waktu lodge sangat berpengaruh. Semakin cepat kita lodge, semakin cepat visanya diproses. Karena aku lodge pada 25 Oktober 2024, berarti aku harus menunggu giliran teman-teman yang lodge pada 23 Oktober 2024 selesai granted terlebih dahulu sebelum giliranku. Setiap kali ada notifikasi dari Gmail, jantungku langsung berdebar kencang, tapi selalu saja bukan email granted. Rasanya mau nangis dan kecewa setiap kali harapan itu pupus.

14.46 Sore itu, aku memutuskan untuk refresh immiaccount untuk terakhir kalinya hari itu. Aku pikir, kalau tidak ada kabar, aku akan logout dan berharap lagi keesokan harinya.

Tapi… tiba-tiba, statusnya berubah menjadi FINALISED!

Aku terdiam. Bengong. Rasanya detik itu berhenti. Tanganku gemetaran. Aku refreshlagi untuk memastikan, dan di sebelah namaku tertulis GRANTED.

Aku mengecek kembali emailku, apa ada Grant Notification-nya? Beneran ada!

Semua overthinking-ku langsung buyar. Rasanya tidak bisa diungkapkan dengan kata-kata. Aku tidak perlu lagi memikirkan perbedaan nama dokumen atau takut terkena random check. Jantungku berdegup kencang, tapi kali ini penuh dengan kebahagiaan. Hari itu, semua impianku mulai terlihat semakin nyata.

Aku baca lagi granted letter-ku, dan akhirnya aku bisa mengatakan: Yes, I got that WHV with my name on it.

BREAK THE CURSE is an album best defined by its hyperpop, electropop, and clubpop flare. almost all tracks were written and produced by DREAMCHIC’S main rapper and lead vocalist MICKEY MOON. mickey has went onto express that her main inspiration behind the sound and direction for the album was the clubbing and raving scene. in an interview, she states: “we’ve been working really diligently on this album for awhile now, and we felt that there was no better time to release it like now. as for the inspiration behind the creative process…” she laughs trying to choose her next words carefully. “i really got inspired by the partying scene. i wanted to make music that i could party to…i really like the vibe of raving, not—not to say that i’ve been partying or anything,” she laughs again alongside her members, attempting to explain in the best way possible. “but i would best describe this as a party album that you can play in clubs or when you just want to dance. we had a lot of fun making this album. i would say break the curse in its entirety has brought us even closer and has been our best creative session to date.”

additionally, BTC has quickly become a fan favorite and a staple in both pop culture and the music industry. the era has gotten the internet talking with the fashion choices, music videos, concepts, and lyrics. the lyrics in certain tracks have raised several brows and has been at the center of many discussions with netizens and fans alike. for example, TRACK SEVEN: GUESS, has received an abundance of love from fans, going viral, and being one of the highest charting songs on the album — peaking at #2. however, many have also questioned the lyrics. some lines in particular that created quite the stir being: “you wanna guess the color of my underwear, you wanna know what i’ve got going on down there…” these lyrics have brought the girls a lot of judgement in spite of its massive popularity. a lot of netizens even going as far as to scrutinize them for being too “provocative,” however stronger words were often used. when asked about the lyrics, mickey moon responded: “we were just messing around in the studio. ‘just having fun and, like, greatness just popped into our head regardless of the lyrics. it’s just spontaneous and fun.” though, hailey had a spicier response in comparison: “i mean, the lyrics are there! we all know what they mean but at the same time…i’m grown! so is mickey and like—it’s not like the lyrics are a lie!” the lyrics for the promo single 365 were also questioned for their ‘allusion’ to drug use (especially considering natalia hwang having a hand in the writing process) but the girls never spoke on it.

001. this era literally opened doors for the dreamchic girls. dreamchic was already a big name in their generation, but this era was something totally different. something shifted when this came out. once again, both ENVIE and DREAMCHIC were pitted against one another (nobody’s surprised) but this time was different. it felt more personal, which some fans could pick up on, due to a few incidents that happened. though it seemed to be a tough battle when both of them had comebacks only a few days apart—pre-sales only being different by half a million sales—when it was all said and done dreamchic won by a landslide! it was a victory for the girls and dreamers.

002. the promotion period was one for the books, lasting for a little over ten weeks total; filled with radio show appearances, variety show appearances, performances, music videos, commercial films, brand deals, editorials, livestreams, and so much more.

003. the members were evidently closer. not to say that they weren’t close already, but you can tell that the behind the scenes created an extremely strong bond between them. this coalition brought some solo stans together…that’s saying A LOT.

004. another thing that showed how much fun they had behind the scenes was the live listening party they hosted on FLORYVERSE. you could really see how passionate they were in the songs and how they would dance and sing along to the songs they enjoyed the most together. it was a real fun time like damn these girls are really a family 🥲

005. even though they had a lot of fun with this release, they also worked a lot. like they were being overworked but they didn’t complain. all the months before were literally all just dedicated to producing, writing, dance rehearsals, filming, etc. very little time for sleeping and eating, just sneaking in naps and snacks on set or for a couple of minutes in between rehearsals.

006. all members except hana took part in writing at least one track on the album. mickey, of course, wrote and produced all tracks (aside from truth be told though she did take part in writing it). hailey has credits on four tracks and ruo has credits on one track but she’s also participated in a lot of decision making when it came to composition. but where hana lacked in the writing department, she had a hand in choreographing. though they had a choreographer, it was left to hana to revise the demos for 365, SUPERNOVA 2, and MIDAS TOUCH.

DreadOut Remastered Collection announced for PS5, Switch

Singapore-based publisher Soft Source Publishing and developer Digital Happiness have announced DreadOut Remastered Collection for PlayStation 5 and Switch. It includes the original DreadOut and the new standalone game DreadOut: Keepers of the Dark. It will launch in 2024. A physical edition will also be available in Asia.

“Having worked on bringing DreadOut 2 to consoles, the team at Soft Source Publishing were enthralled by the idea when Pak Rachmad CEO of Digital Happiness threw out the idea of bringing back DreadOut and DreadOut: Keepers of the Dark to consoles,” said Soft Source Publishing director Sameer Pandit in a press release. “It’s an immediate thought that we want to be a part of this new project. DreadOut is an iconic IP in Asia and has been spreading its wings in the rest of the world with the release of DreadOut 2 on consoles.”

How the Blue Angels convinced Tom Cruise to make the movie "Top Gun"

It's hard to imagine a world without the Top Gun movie. Aviation lovers watch at least once a year, despite the banality of the 80s, because the flight scenes are as cool now as they were more than 30 years ago. The best talents were hired to ensure a successful production, but the star of the film needed to be convinced by the Blue Angels to finally decide to become Maverick.

In another fantastic interview with Ryan Notthaft on Blue Angel Phantoms on YouTube, the Blue Angel pilot who piloted Tom Cruise, Curt "Griz" Watson, talks about his experience.

When reading the script alone, Cruise didn't find it funny. He was a serious actor who was still standing out, and there was a lot of apprehension about how the audience would receive an aviation film. Because the truth is that no aviation movie was really a big box office success before Top Gun.

But the producers knew they had a winner. They considered Top Gun as "Star Wars on Earth", inspired by a story years earlier in California Magazine. But Cruise initially did not share his vision, nor did many producers before Paramount. They had no real characters or stories, just cool jets.

"When I first read it, I thought they had a very limited story and script," Cruise recalled in an old behind-the-scenes article about the production of the film, which you can watch at this link. "I thought so, I don't know about it."

In a final desperate attempt to convince Cruise to join, producer Jerry Bruckheimer called Navy Admiral Peter Garrow, asking Cruise of the Navy to convince him to make the film. Garrow, of course, called the Blues Angels with the orders.

Grizz exceeded Cruise's expectations very well on the team's No. 7 jet, an A-4 Skyhawk. With a bag full of vomit, Cruise was hooked and his love affair with aviation began. When he landed he walked to the nearest public phone, called Bruckheimer and said "I do this".

But he was not satisfied only with the flight on the A-4 of the Blue Angels. After all, Mav is an F-14 Tomcat pilot. So Cruise requested flight time on the F-14 as part of his character's development. What made perfect sense. Cruise even put this in his contract. The producers and the Navy happily accommodated him.

His first F-14 flight also hit him in the head. Your pilot, indicative of call Bozo, put him in a difficult situation. You can watch the interview above about some of these flights, or better yet, watch the video here where Cruise and Bozo talk about it.

He loved piloting the F-14 so much that he even told his pilots "let's film these scenes and then tear everything apart. I'll evaluate you about who is the best driver." Each pilot wanted to know how his other pilots fared and then competed to see who could kick Tom's ass harder.

Cruise has been in love with flying since then. He is now a talented pilot, certified for various types of aircraft. He also owns a World War II P-51 Mustang fighter.

Nemůžu uvěřit, jak disciplinovaná jsem, ale bez větších potíží vplouváme do další fáze našeho turnaje. Z první jste si vybrali 32 největších štramáctev, ale to je pořád strašně moc. Zopakujme si základní pravidla a pak se vrhneme na druhé kolo.

v turnaji jde o souboje jeden na jednoho

turnaj si nehraje na systém pavouk, lidi do dvojic dávám já osobně většinou podle toho, že mezi těmi dvěma nacházím podobné rysy, ať už vzhledové nebo typové (nezávisle na době, kdy byli herecky na výši, naopak jsem některé dvojice dala dohromady právě proto, že hráli v úplně jiné době) + jak turnaj postupuje, budu v úvahu brát taky úspěch v předchozích kolech, aby souboje nebyly nevyrovnané

v případě remízy následuje jednodenní nové hlasování

v případě druhé remízy (lepší posichrovat) nepostupuje nikdo a budu zvažovat vstup divoké karty, nejspíš někoho z těsně vyřazených účastníků zájezdu z předchozího kola

Prosím, nevrstvěte propagandu na sebe (u reblogů), nechci tu mít tři metry dlouhé posty ;).

Představte si, že jsme v roce 1970. Fotky apod. z pozdějších let nebudu přijímat jako propagandu. Nic vám ale nebrání modernější propagandu provozovat u sebe na blogu, jen se prostě nedostane sem.

Budu ignorovat veškerou antipropagandu, chovejme se jako lidi.

The notion that every single scene must advance the plot is responsible for many of the thin, untextured big-budget action pictures that are dulling the imagination of the mass movie audience. One of the many charms of "Fargo" was the way it allowed the three-dimensional humanity of the characters to coexist with the kidnapping plot.

"do you ever get sad," you started, flicking your eyes upward to look at the young boy in the mirror, "knowing you're never going to have your first kiss?"

this was a thought that had been lingering in your mind a lot lately. never before had you been very interested in the idea of being kissed or anything of the sort, but being forced into your marriage with johnny seo has really caused you to think about everything that could have been and will never be. there was a small part of you that regretted not making a greater attempt to seek out romance and physical affection earlier in life, as all of your options were now stripped away from you in a way you never could have imagined. johnny has made it abundantly clear that he will never make an attempt to touch you unless it's on your terms and in your own time, but he has also made himself the only contender for every first and every last you will ever have in life. with this realization came a sense of mourning, but you couldn't exactly put your finger on why that was. it wasn't as though you were dying to do these things, anyway. 

the boy giggled softly to himself. with his free hand, he pushed your head back down, using the other to brush the knots from your hair.

„Něčeho bych se napil,“ povzdechl si Tasse. Seděl na otevřeném okně v Mařině pokoji, zabalený do jedné z jejích strakatých dek a díval se ven, na hvězdnou oblohu. 

„Můžu donýst vodu,“ nabídla Mara a spustila nohy z parapetu na podlahu. 

„Spíš něco ostřejšího.“

„Můžu ti do ní přidat trošku prášku z těch pálivejch papriček, co si v zeleninový zahradě pěstuje mistr Rahim.“

Pohled, který jí Tasse věnoval, byl mírně zděšený. 

„Kdyby to aspoň byla horká čokoláda…“ zamumlal. „Ale já myslel spíš něco…alkoholického? Stačila by jenom kapička…“

„To ti tvoji bohatý rodiče dovolej?“ nadzvedla Mara obočí. „Nasávat po nocích?“

„Myslíš, že to je něco, co bych dělal před nimi?“ zasmál se. „Ti mi povolili tak možná čas od času sklenku vína u večeře, takhle bych se pít opravdu nenaučil.“

Mara vytáhla nohy zpátky na parapet. Její maminka měla doma vždycky lahev nějaké pálenky nebo domácího vína od sousedů a Mara z ní občas tajně upila. A někdy to ani nemuselo být tajně, hlavně pokud měla její rodina hosty. Předpokládala ale, že u boháčů byly tyhle věci trochu jiné. „Jak ses to teda naučil?“

„Většina kuchyní ve velkých domech má přístup do nějakého sklepení. A součástí sklepení bývá nějaký vinný sklípek.“

„Tak víno, jo?“

„Nejen… ale zrovna můj otec má vinný sklípek dost velký na to, aby se hned nepoznalo, že něco chybí. Takže hlavně víno.“ Tasse se najednou napřímil a spustil nohy dolů z parapetu. „Teď mě napadá, Kalle odvedle má tenhle týden službu v kuchyni, že? Myslíš, že by nás pustil dovnitř?“

„Chceš do toho zapojit Kalla?“

„Proč ne?“

„Taky z toho bude něco chtít.“

„Tak ať, o kapičku něčeho se podělit můžeme,“ pokrčil Tasse rameny a slezl z parapetu. „Ale jenom kapičku!“

Maru znovu překvapilo, jak rychle se Tasse dovede pohybovat, pokud jde o jídlo nebo alkohol. Boty, se kterými si obvykle dával na čas, měl obuté v rekordním čase a ze dveří skoro vyběhl, provázen klapáním hole na dřevěné podlaze. Mara ho dohnala až ve chvíli, kdy už klepal na sousední dveře.

Než se Kalle uráčil připloužit ke dveřím, uplynuly skoro dvě minuty, během kterých Mara Tasseho málem odtáhla zpátky do svého pokoje. Než se pro to ale rozhodla, dveře se se zavrzáním otevřely a do chodby vykoukl rozespalý člověk přibližně v jejich věku. Tmavé kudrny mu trčely do všech směrů a na sobě neměl nic kromě volných lněných kalhot, ve kterých patrně spal. Tasse tiše zalapal po dechu a Mara do něj zezadu trochu drcla. Teď nebyl čas na hloupé okukování. Naštěstí měl Tasse očividně srovnané priority, protože velice rychle nasadil široký úsměv.

„Kalle! Nevzbudil jsem tě, že ne? Poslyš, ty máš tenhle týden službu v kuchyni, že?“

„Mhm?“ zamručel Kalle. 

„Takže určitě víš i kde se tam dá sehnat něco k pití?“

Kalle zamrkal.

„Myslíš jako alkohol?“

„Myslím jako alkohol,“ přikývl Tasse nadšeně. 

„Tak počkej,“ řekl Kalle a dveře zase zavřel. Hlomození, které se začalo ozývat z jeho pokoje, napovědělo, že se zřejmě zpátky do postele nechystá. Úplně jasné to bylo, jakmile dveře zase otevřel a vyšel do chodby znovu, tentokrát už i v košili a botách. „Jdem,“ prohlásil. „Vím, kde je klíč od vinnýho sklepa. A když probudíme i Gittu, ukáže nám, kde přesně mistři skladujou medovinu.“

„Tak to už můžeme rovnou probudit i Zandera,“ navrhl Tasse. „Zmiňoval něco o tom, že ví, kde má mistryně Luitgarda tu svoji palírnu.“

„Tak tohle je ta tvoje kapička?“ zasmála se Mara. 

„Taková kapička alkoholu se musí brát vážně,“ upozornil ji Tasse. „Obzvlášť, když se o ni má dělit tolik lidí.“

„V tom případě bysme teda neměli nic zanedbat,“ pokrčila Mara rameny. „Co kdybyste teda vy dva zašli pro Gittu a vyrazili obhlídnout tu kuchyň a sklípek a já zatím zkusím, jestli se mi podaří něco vytáhnout ze Zandera.“

„Tak to zkus rovnou zjistit, jestli jsou vzhůru i Amra a Priska, ať to stojí za to,“ navrhl Tasse. „Sejít se pak můžeme u mně v pokoji, mám tam o místo k sezení navíc.“

Jumat, 16 Juni 2023 bulan lalu, alhamdulillah aku sudah mengikuti Sidang Seminar Proposal Tesis. Aku melakukan penelitian lanjutan dari penelitian Skripsi saat S1. Judul penelitianku sekarang yaitu "Using Semantic Analysis to Investigate Customer Experience Case P2P Lending" .

Saat Seminar Proposal Tesis aku mendapatkan 2 Penguji, Penguji 1: Pak Teguh Widodo dan Penguji 2: Pak Mohammad Riza Sutjipto. Saat Seminar Proposal Tesis alhamdulillah aku mendapatkan banyak masukan dari Penguji, sehingga hal tersebut bisa aku gunakan untuk memperbaiki dokumen Proposal Tesisku nanti.

Sidang yang diadakan pada hari Jumat adalah jadwal sidang yang di adakan pertama setelah mendaftar Seminar Proposal melalui website kampus. Foto di atas adalah teman-teman DMKT yang mendapatkan jadwal sidang pada hari Jumat. Jumlah mahasiswa yang sidang pada hari Jumat sangat banyak jika di banding dengan hari-hari setelahnya.

Tanggal 05 Juli 2023, aku melakukan submit dokumen revisi pada website kampus. Sekarang tinggal beberapa bulan lagi insya Allah aku bisa mendapatkan gelar "Magister Manajemen". Targetku bulan Agustus nanti bisa mengikuti pendaftaran sidang akhir Tesis dan bulan November bisa mengikuti wisuda.

Semoga Allah selalu mudahkan semua rencana-rencana baik kita. Semoga kita bisa maksimal dalam berikhtiar dan berdoa kepada Allah. Semoga kita bisa memaksimalkan usia kita untuk selalu belajar khususnya belajar ilmu syar'i atau ilmu agama islam. Selamat menjadi pembelajar seumur hidup.

Minggu lalu di hari Rabu "Minggu depan kontrol lagi ya pak" Logika ikan Piranha berpikir oh berarti Rabu depan saya harus kesini lagi . Tapi ternyata dikasi kode 08/05 dan itu artinya hari Senin kemarin bukan hari Rabu . Gak ada penjelasan sama sekali

Ini udah kaya petualangan Doraemon nyari bajai roda empat segala pake kode . Terus pas sekali nya deffend dia menjawab "Kan Minggu depan gak harus hari Rabu pak,bisa Senin Selasa Rabu Kamis Jum'at"

Aku takut menuliskannya, tapi nyatanya memang demikian yang aku rasakan sendiri

bahwa ternyata ketika kita yakin Allah akan membantu kita dan yakin bahwa harapan selalu ada, ternyata Allah benar-benar akan membuka kesempatan untuk kita menjadi lebih baik. dan itu nyata yang aku rasakan.

aku bersyukur, memiliki support system yang luar biasa mendukung, terima kasih banyak kepada yasmin yang terlalu banyak mendengarkan celotehan manusia ini.

juga terima kasih banyak kepada bapak dosen seperti pak Dudung, pak Alex, pak Agoes, pak Rizqie, pak Dwi, pak Muiz, pak Basar, dll yang membuka kesempatan bagiku untuk belajar dan terus menjadi manusia lebih baik setiap waktunya.

juga kepada orangtua yang terus menafkahi tak kenal lelah dan saudariku tercinta, yang penuh perhatian dan bukti nyata menyokong untuk menguatkan, menasehati, juga membantu uang makan wkwk

Baik dan Benar

Seorang teman baik pernah bilang, dalam belajar agama, bukan gurunya yang garang / pemarah / keras, tapi keras atau tidaknya hati dalam menerima ajarannya.

Wawwwwww jlebbbb! Mashooookk Pak Eko!!

Pelan-pelan jadinya saya coba, mendengar nasehat, mencoba mencari ilmu dari yang "pemarah-pemarah" ini 😄. Iya juga ya, benar kok ajarannya, cara penyampaian yang berbeda. Ada yang lemah lembut, ada yang jelas tegas. Sayanya aja yang kemarin-kemarin lebih keras hatinya, hehe. Belum dicoba kok udah bilang ndak.

Beberapa tahun lalu saya pikir, susah ya untuk menjadi orang baik tuh. Karena menjadi baik itu identik dengan orang yang menyenangkan hati orang lain. Sering kita dengar ada pujian, "Waaah si fulan itu baik." Sangat relatif penilaian ini. Bergantung kepada banyak faktor. Menjadi baik itu, hatinya mesti lapaaaaaangggg, mesti siap kalau yang dilakukan itu berujung pada hal yang tidak sesuai ekspektasi, supaya tidak muncul istilah "Nasiblah jadi orang yang dimanfaatkan orang lain." Lhaaaa itulah dia seninya, sebaik-baik manusia kan yang bermanfaat bagi orang lain. Heheeheheheheheheh pusing ndak?

Akhir-akhir ini saya ketemu poin baru, yang membuat upayanya manusia untuk menjadi baik bisa lebih mudah dan jelas. Crystal clear. Menjadi baik itu... HARUS dengan benar. Pakai capslock. Mutlak. Takut ngga? Galak ngga nih? Yaaaaa mau gimana lagi, agama yang atur itu. Ndak ada pilihan selain patuh. Sami'na wa atho'na.

Awalnya ini memang terdengar seram. Kok banyak larangan nih. Ini ndak boleh, itu ndak boleh. Padahal yaaa mungkin seperti kita jalan, kalau ndak ada pagarnya, sesuka-sukanya, yaudah masuk jurang. Ternyata mencoba menjadi baik dan benar akan mendatangkan ketenangan. Tidak lagi fokus pada hasil akhir, tapi lebih kepada proses. Oh nda apa gagal, selama jalan yang ditempuh ini diupayakan benar, berarti mungkin ya jalan yang cocok untuk saya memang bukan yang ini. Akhirnya hati lebih tenang dan nrimo.

Tegasnya agama bahwa menjadi baik itu juga harus benar, sesungguhnya adalah penolong kita. Islam itu memudahkan, menyederhanakan. Semua manusia itu lemah, sepaket ada kurang dan lebihnya, punya blind spot, belum lagi jika mesti sering berada dalam ramai dan riuh, lupa bagaimana harusnya berbicara dengan hati sendiri, sulit mendengar ilham langsung dari Ilahi, sehingga rentan sekali terbiasa dengan aturan dan norma buatan manusia, yang belum tentu benarnya. Mungkin itulah maknanya kenapa menjadi sebaik-baik manusia adalah bermanfaat kepada orang lain, karena wawawawawwwwww ujiannya ternyata bukan volume dan ragam manusia yang dihadapi, tapi rasanya lebih kepada diri sendiri lagi.

Saya yakin Allah itu mendengar apa yang tidak mampu kita katakan, apa yang kita sembunyikan, maka Allah pasti bantu, karena Allah Ar Rahmaan Ar Rahiim (bagian nulis ini saya sampai merinding mau nangis). Keragu-raguan apakah diri ini sudah baik atau belum akan jelas dibantu dengan tuntunan agama tentang kebenaran. Ada saja jalan untuk kembali kepada Allah. Makanya kita diingatkan... bikin salah? Ya bertaubat, Allah yang terima. Bukan urusan manusia untuk ambil alih tugas malaikat jadi tim pencatat (sungguh menulis ini adalah nasehat untuk diri sendiri 😅).

Mohon bantuan ya, ingatkan saya kalau kelakuan saya mulai hanya ingin jadi baik. Ndak apa dibenci manusia kalau kita ingin jadi baik dan benar, kan kita ini punya Allah yang perintahkan memang harus baik dan benar. InshaAllah kita akan dikuatkan, akan ditenangkan. Laa hawla walaa quwwata illa billaah.
