Hi, I wanted to know on your headcannons of your Octonauts :)

Ahoy there, matey! Thanks so much for askin’!

Here are some of my fave Octonauts headcanons (with a splash of cozy feels and cuddly vibes):

Kwazii is deaf and uses sea-sign (Octopod Sign Language!) to chat with the crew. Most of ‘em are fluent or learning—Barnacles is nearly perfect, Peso signs really gently, and Shellington still accidentally signs jellyfish when he means jelly!

Tweak made him a custom communicator in his eyepatch that helps with alerts and vibrations, and he reads lips like a pro! He's also great at sensing movement in the water before anyone else.

He taught Tunip and the Vegimals some signs too, and now they have a secret little dancey-sign language of their own.

Peso has a plushie of every creature he's helped, and they all sit on a shelf in his bunk. Sometimes the others find him tucking them in at night.

Tweak talks to the Octopod like it’s her bestie (“C’mon darlin’, just one more deep-sea dive today!”) and secretly gives all her gadgets names and little backstories.

Shellington sleepwalks and ends up in the lab mumbling fun facts about sea stars. Kwazii once found him snuggled up with a bucket of barnacles.

Barnacles is the best at bedtime routines. He has lullabies in polar bear grumbles and warm cocoa on standby. He even does special cuddle huddles for little crew members having a tough time.
