🎮 — favorite video game(s)?

I don't really have an all-time favorite, but my current obsession in gaming is probably Lies of P. I guess Honkai Star Rail too, and Sun Haven.

Lies of P is a soulslike/soulsborne. Whatever people call it. Now I'm not too find of soulslike games because I'm a casual gamer. I'm moreso into a video game for the storyline and development. I also like to play casually. Sometimes I'm not up for the challenge. I just like to take my sweet time, go at my own pace, enjoy a game, and enjoy a story instead of trying to speedrun or rush through.

Anyhoo what got me into Lies of P is because I'm a sucker for fairy tales and folk tales. I'm also a sucker for like medieval, victorian, steampunk, renaissance, all those ancient stuff ahahahaha. I even own some renaissance-themed clothing that I also wear to work. LOP is probably gonna be the only soulslike game I ever play. Most people seem to be into soulslike for the challenge. 'Least the ones I've met. So far despite the challenge, I'm enjoying LOP, and I do write a muse from there.~ Still have yet to beat the game though.

Honkai Star Rail is one of those gacha games meant for mobile, but can be played on playstation and desktop. It's alright. I wouldn't give it too much praise, but that's just me. It can be f2p-friendly, and sometimes it can be p2w. Depends on how people wanna play the game, I guess. I tried to avoid HSR but then I saw Gallagher, and it was very hard for me to resist him, so I finally gave this game a chance, and yeah. It's fun. It's alright. It's a simple game and doesn't feel too overwhelming for me. I said Genshin Impact was gonna be the last gacha game I ever play, but I think HSR will now be the last gacha game I ever play since tbh... I've played a lot of gacha games end eventually got bored or burnt out from them. There are better games to play and completed too imo.

Sun Haven is one of those farming simulation games. Right now it's only out on steam. They said they have plans to release it for the Nintendo switch, but no idea when exactly. You can do quests in this game. You can make anything your main focus. My main focus is to plant stuff, harvest them, and then sell the plants I've harvested. I'm also slowly trying to make my farm look better than before.

There's quite a lot to do in this game. It might be overwhelming for some with all these quests we can do, and I admit I got burnt out from this game at some point because of that, but once I got back to it I just decided to go at my own pace and do my own thing.

This game is also multiplayer btw, and I think you can have up to 8 players~

Aaron Tveit is neat too, I guess, and it seems his latest role in the world of broadway is Sweeney Todd. It seems he's also starring in some new show now that I forgot wtf it's called. He seems to mostly land roles in broadway though than shows or movies.

tbh I don't really have any celebrity crushes, but Revo and Aaron Tveit are cool. Uhhhhh.... I guess Justin Timberlake is okay too LOL.

I do listen to music while trying to write stuff! It helps with inspiration a lot for me. Though sometimes even with music, I might not get any inspiration at all still, but I'll still be vibing with my playlists.

• July 30, 2023 - Derek, Jojo Levesque, Maya Bowles, and Sarah Bowden all took their final bows at 'Moulin Rouge'. Each of them embarked on new exciting journeys in their lives and continued on with their respective career paths as an actor, actress, dancer, singer, teacher and including an author!

Several months later, all of us got surprise news that Derek would be returning to the stage again at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Derek reprised his role as Christian from February 6th to July 21st alongside Courtney Reed as Satine. Following their run, Jojo took over the role of Satine, performing alongside Aaron Tveit as Christian from July 23rd to October 13th, marking their final performances.

Covenant Notes: The Warlord, killer of billions. According to historical documentation, it's Megatron (nee D-16) that we have to blame for the death of our homeworld. Hard to pinpoint the specifics on that, but I get the feeling it has to do with far too many bombs and an inferiority complex.

Trion says Megatron turned the Decepticons, once a band of upstarts bent on killing Senators and such, into a complete rebellion after he was scorned for the position of Prime. In favour of Optimus, of course. Hard to beat that!

Nowadays, he spends most of his time on colony-work and conquering other planets from the sidelines. He's still terrifying, of course, but he's... old. And tired.

He looks at me strangely sometimes.

Secrets, Lies, and Other Stuff:

Megatron, split-spark twin of Galvatron, started the rebellion with the focus of abolishing Functionism. His reasons vary greatly, of course, but a major point was the refusal from all medical centers to treat his sibling after a serious accident. Miners are disposable, after all. Terrible thing to tell someone with a pickaxe in hand.

Like his sibling, he's Combination-capable. With Soundwave, he forms Soundblaster Overlord; with Shockwave, Shockblaster Overlord. He has another combination partner but... maybe more on that some other day.

His gold cracks showed up a bit before Optimus' death, before a poorly-remembered attack by the Quintessions. Maybe after? Or during. Hard to say. Most just remember a horrible scream and a titan rising from the sunset.

Design Notes: Megatron takes inspiration from kintsugi, the method of repairing pottery with gold. Other motifs include ill-fitting armor, piecemeal sets, and someone who deeply needs more repairs. His limbs look almost like they could be popped off and reused on someone else.

Brief consideration for his cannon was something deeply broken and in constant need of repair. This was forgone as Shockwave, the designer, spends the series on the CSS Vos. He wouldn't let it break down, no matter how bad Megatron got after Optimus' death.

Maybe this is the first iteration of the cannon? It was experimental when first gifted, and probably not as pretty as Shockwave would have liked it to be.

BACKGROUND: 

The son of a Queen and a Rook, meant that Elijah was always destined to choose Virtue, he was always destined to be bigger, better and more powerful, which is why once he started to attend the academy and had his views completely shattered open caused his parents to begin to drift away from their son, the more space between him and them, the better in their opinion but he was never quite severed from the family completely.

He met Beverly when they were children, she always fascinated him whenever he spotted that beautiful head of golden curls, he was fixated with wanting to know more, about the world, about *her*. Elijah continued his pursuit of her well into their adult years whenever she came back, he would find her and they would talk, spend time together, learn from each other, eventually he would become her first because Elijah wanted her to at least feel loved if he should never see her again. Elijah had kept the flower she gave him years ago pressed in a book, he plans on gifting it back when he asks her to marry him.

Career-wise, Elijah is very driven, the moment he joined Aldridge station, he had one goal in mind, be chosen to join the ranks of the Gambit's. Here is where he met a long time friend, mentor and father figure, James Goldstein, the other man hated being saddled with him but they developed an unlikely friendship during their time as partners. BACKGROUND: Sawyer’s parents divorced when she was young, after that she idolized her dad and they did everything together. He taught her all about cars and fixing things, and that became something they did together all the time. She had visited Hiraeth once, and loved it, but couldn’t imagine a place without her dad. Unfortunately when she was 22, he passed away, and she felt completely alone. So she went back to Hiraeth and decided to stay. BACKGROUND: (pregnancy tw, abuse tw, death tw, domestic abuse tw) Cecilia had a strict but wealthy upbringing, her parents obsessed with their noble status and future. Cecilia ruined that in their eyes when she became pregnant at 16, so they locked her away so no one would know, and took her baby away from her before she could even hold it, giving it away in secret so that Cecilia would never find her child. She became a shell of herself after that, giving in when her parents arranged a marriage for her. Her new husband was a horrible and violent man, who only wanted her family money. When she was 25 he was fed up with not yet having an heir from her, and at a family dinner he killed Cecilia’s parents and turned on her, but she was able to get away and he died in the struggle. To escape the hell her life had become, she came to Hiraeth and never told anyone about her past. She used her knowledge of what the rich liked and her charm for entertaining to run the Four Aces Casino, and build her own life for herself, but she still struggles with trusting anyone with her past.
