thinking about this one Superbat fic I read where they had to fake date or whatever but in it while they’re still in pre- relationship, they like fall asleep in the same bed, play games with their kids, and like shower while the other one is also in the bathroom and it’s like “oh yeah they’ve dealt with shit from crying into the others shoulder to literally trying to fuck each other during sex pollen episodes; there’s no world where they’re not the epitome of comfortable with each other even if they don’t think the other one returns their romantic feelings” and I just have to say I agree and I think about that hc at least once a week

Sure, I don't mind being called a furry. My art certainly qualifies as furry art and my characters are furry characters. But I've never been that connected or active in the furry fandom in general. There's a lot of core experiences that I'm missing: I don't have a fursona, I don't own a fursuit and I've never been to a furry con. My online circles are very furry-centric but I don't think any of my irl friends consider themselves furries, despite our shared tastes and interests.

I was thinking about quadrants and mxtx throuples (most on brand series of words for me to say) and I've realized 3zun is just bingliushen 2.0

We've got

Person A, who is generally kind and held in high esteem by the people who know him

Person B, who is a swordsman with a hot temper who is prone to qi deviations and has a strict moral code

Person C, who is a tragic little orphan boy with insane mommy issues and no one can decide if he did nothing wrong or everything wrong

Person C is Person A's Special Little Guy. His emotional support war criminal ❤️ If he did anything wrong, no he didn't

Person B thinks Person C is a lying liar who lies and would like to put him through a woodchipper. The feeling is mutual

The only thing keeping Person B and Person C from stabbing each other in public is mutual affection for Person A

The unfortunate difference is 3zun did end with homicide, while there's still potential for bingliushen to work something out. Maybe if Lan Xichen had taken a page out of Shen Qingqiu's book and thought "maybe if I fuck him he'll calm down" then they might've had a chance

I've been seeing some recent discourse about ATSV painting Miguel as someone that was "going after" Miles and, as much as he's an asshole right now, he never went after him until the very end when he escaped. He was content with leaving him alone, practically in the dark, until Miles got caught up with Gwen's quest. I'm not saying he's less of an asshole for what he does, but he's not this villain that's out to ruin Miles (at least, not in the typical sense). He's a good guy with a twisted sense of morality in the grand scheme of the Spider-Man archetype, the "bigger picture" guy.

Basically, cut him some slack, but not too much.

Only for the Continuum to admit that the Trial is less about Humanity and more about giving Q something 'important' to do since Q has just been getting worse and more 'pathetic' over the last couple of thousand years and Humanity, being as strange and weird of a species as it is, presented itself to be a fitting distraction for Q. And once they saw Picard, so self-important, self-rightous, curious and also the family disappointment, they knew that he would just be the perfect toy for Q. And look here they are. Q may get on their collective nerves about constantly talking and thinking about him but at least now that Q has a focus, an obsession, the chaos and the trouble caused and the whining about boredom (and loneliness) has dropped substantially.

Did Shiva and Saturn ever actually love eachother? Their relationship seems manipulative at the very best

They did, but they also like manipulating each other. Plus Saturn can't really look into Shiva's eyes without feeling a surge of negative emotions and a need to cause destruction, so that's another hurdle in their relationship. Jupiter has to stop Saturn from thinking manipulation between two partners is commonplace because he's so gullible that Saturn can't help but feel more and more guilty when he tries it.
