merlin rewrite where gwen finds out about merlins magic in s1. so gwen is always there with him whenever something magical happens. also merlin finally has good advice from gwen instead of just gauis and the gecko. gwen also just does things for him no questions asked.

like merlin shows up at her doorstep dripping wet talking about a serial killing merman, and she just goes and brings out a sword and says ok lets go. merlin wasn't even there to ask her to fight but at this point he'll get all the assistance he can get.

everyone in the castle thinks they're dating cause they're always together. and they both go along with it cause it gives them an excuse to wander the town or castle alone whenever theres a magical threat.

arthur finds them in an abandoned room making a salt circle and burning herbs in a bowl and they just go "we're on a date" and "this is how commoners have a romantic date arthur, you wouldn't understand".

qcard hurt/comfort, where Picard (very unintenionally) just .. breaks down in Qs presence. And Picard is so utterly mortified at showing this kind of weakness in front of Q of all people and expects to be met with mockery and condescending comments but instead Q is just feverishly trying to come up with a way to comfort his human.

Anyway, I like to think there have been some amusing misunderstandings on the Normandy around Archangel-related media.

Shep and Tali, having an enthusiastic discussion about "the film", which they both claim to have seen recently and enjoyed. Tali is treating Shep to an indepth nerdy analysis of backstory and character development, which seems to puzzle Shep. Shep keeps bringing up lines she found funny, which Tali doesn't remember hearing. Both are silently thinking girl, did we watch the same vid???

To Joker, loitering nearby making himself a coffee, it becomes increasingly clear that they are talking about two different vids, both of which he has watched (for Ripping The Piss Out Of Garrus purposes, obviously)

Tali thinks they're talking about Archangel (2189), the human-made Marvel-esque movie by a big-budget studio, starring big-name actors - the turian who played Bellicus in Fleet & Flotilla and the hot asari from that movie Vaenia - in a fast-paced action-packed story about hope and justice and forbidden love. The one she went to see with Traynor, with the ending that made her cry.

But Shep, bless her filthy little heart, thinks they're talking about Archangel (2189), the cheesy low-budget porn parody produced by an indie studio on Omega, full of terrible jokes about projectiles and rockets and finishing three guys with one round, starring some long-fringed narrow-waisted well-endowed turian who is, in fairness, having the time of his life with that role, and a 98%-fake human woman in a terrible red wig and highly battlefield-inappropriate N7 armour. The one she's been quoting back and forth with Garrus all week, trying to make each other crease up or cringe at inconvenient times.

Now he just has to decide whether to wait for them to figure it out, or confuse them both even more by joining their conversation and talking about Archangel (2189), the new comic series in which the titular vigilante joins forces with his archenemy to defend Omega's people from invading Cerberus forces.

It was .. bewildering when Q shook everyones hands, even congratulating Beverly on her new position and Riker on his captaincy.

"I am sure you all will be very busy. But don't you worry. I'll take good care of him from now on."

Putting his arm around Picard, Q snapped his fingers and they both were gone.

Dorcas looked up. It was a completely out of the blue question from Evan, but it made sense for him to ask it with the accident over break.

"Someone else's story?" Dorcas said, laughing a bit and nudging him with her shoulder. "Ev, we're the villains in ours."

Barty was staring at his hands. Evan could practically see the horror in his eyes at what he had done.

"Why did I do that?" he asked, voice breaking a bit as though he could still see blood on his hands.

"Did you have a choice?" Evan asked, grabbing Barty's chin to make him look away from his hands. "You're not a violent person. That was the bravest goddamn thing I've ever seen you do, Bat."

Tears were on Barty's eyelashes, not quite on his cheeks yet. "But I did it."

Evan leaned his forehead against his boyfriend's. "So did I."

"Reg," Pandora said, wrapping him into her arms. "What happened?I thought you were with James."

"I was," Regulus replied voice strained and choked. "It turns out he's just like my brother."

"What happened?" Pandora asked, knowing the anger she felt towards whatever the fuck James Potter had done to her Reg had seeped into her voice. "What the fuck did he do to you? I'll fucking kill him."

"It's me, not him," Regulus said, pulling his left sleeve up.

Pandora's breath caught in her throat.

(well other than bc of his great appreciation for different cuisines, and just for the sake of liking food)

Is because bullet time/focus is extremely taxing and takes a massive amount of energy to maintain

And thus has to eat more to keep up those energy reserves.

Kinda like how Barry Allen (the flash) has to eat more to compensate for the energy drain caused by his super speed
