The games been bot-free for a few months now. At worst I've run into a few closet cheaters.

I won't spend a dime on the game till at least a year has passed, but the game's playable. #FixTF2 did what it needed to. It feels super weird to say, but the game is essentially fixed. You can queue into casual without expecting a lobby full of bots spewing gross and hateful shit in the chat (now its just the bottom scoring scout doing that, though with a significant lack of cheats).

For now I'll be enjoying the game to the fullest.

oh yeah, all my works have been locked for a while now. my reluctance to post new fics on A03 is kinda complicated, i guess?? cuz like, it’s not just bots, real human people can (and do) feed fics to chatGPT, but anyone could scrape my writing off tumblr too. i hate the thought of preventing unregistered guests from reading anything i post from now on, but not posting at all prevents even more ppl from finding it.

it’s like i’m caught between a rock and a hard place HAH but in any case, i think i’m gonna just have to concede. once i’m finished with this chapter i’m working on and have the time, i’m gonna slowly start getting all my recent mcyt stuff on A03 and unlock my works again. cuz yknow, there’s nothing i can do to combat art-stealing AI but at least i can share my writing with people who will appreciate it. i wrote this line the other day actually:

“i’m tired of making decisions based on what i’m afraid other people might do.” so i’m gonna try and take my own advice, and just do my thing.

Hiiii! So I saw you mention SunnyBlue in that post you made about Blue and the twins and I wasn't sure if you were actually into that ship but if you are I would like to offer you my favorite fic of those two. It's Saturated Sunlight by @inkfamy It's honestly the greatest characterization of the two, and on top of it being a romantic fic of the two, it dives into Blue's ptsd and how he earned the title of the best sniper in the Autobots as well as the issues Sunny and Sides have and it's just so fascinating. Idk, it seemed like something you would enjoy based off of the other fics you like.

The characterisation of Blue?? And the twins?? Muah~ Absolutely wonderful. The emphasis on Blue being a really fucking good sniper is so interesting. Like I've never seen sniper programming being used in that way.

Despite being fairly short this fic still managed to make me love them so much ehehe I crave more now

Only trait that I think a Starscream always has is that Starscream is persistent as HELL. He just doesn't let shit go, he always keeps coming back no matter how much you knock him down.

I know this is like not a priority right now but I really hope they kick Neil gaiman off of good omens and sandman and get someone else to finish the shows. Cause I just. Don't wanna see these shows canceled. I don't know how much legal stuff is involved considering gaiman wrote the source material and Pratchett is dead but I hope they can just. Fire him and hire someone to write good omens season three.

I know the first priority is getting victims justice and care, but I'm posting this in a fandom space because I'm sure others feel the same way. Good Omens specifically meant and means a lot to me and to leave it unfinished and to leave it There on a note of sadness... Man.
