I saw your answer to the fanfiction anon about how the buddie fandom is all about isolating buck from everyone else until the only one that's left is eddie. And thinking back to most of the fanfics I've read, that is exactly what happens. Like the theory that if you isolate two roosters for long enough, at one point they are bound to mate. I believe one of the major reasons behind that is the fact that Buddie only works through the fandom lense but once you broaden your perspective though, you are left with a very ordinary relationship and everytime i see any post by a buddie fan, I have to really wonder if they have ever had friends because if you think that is romantic behaviour, then me and my best friend are practically soulmates bound through the ages (well, we are but not like that). which is probably why it's so hard for the GA - particularly people who are not used to how fandom sees things, to care about buddie. because believe it or not, most people have an eddie in their life. actually most people have someone better than eddie in their life but that is a discussion for another day. raising a kid? my mother's best friend has half raised me even though i have a full set of parents, to the extent that she is still the only one whose approval i need for academic decisions. doing chores? i used to do my best friend's dishes every week because she hated doing them. people thinking they are together? our professor in college genuinely thought we were together and this is back when homosexuality was illegal in my country. shipping is fun, it's cool to find meaning where there might be none. it is death of the author at its finest. but that doesn't mean that you get to burn the book and posit that your version is the only version that's real. be a fan, don't be a white colonizer.

It sounds bad, and it is not my intention to be mean, but it does feel like a lot of them either lack a deep friendship in their irl life, or they choose not to see the similarities. I spent hours on end next to one of my best friends, helping her with her enrollment in her Master's because it was confusing her. A friend called me when she had something bad happening to her because she felt like I could be the one giving her comfort. One of my best friends had his Dad go through a very bad health crisis, and I spent days by his side so he wouldn't be alone. And, newsflash, I'm not in love with any of them.

When it comes down to it, I think this is why I can't bring myself to ship Buddie anymore, not even in a casual way. It is what stopped me from shipping them that much initially (Tommy coming into our screens was just the nail in the coffin) - I'd read a fanfic, and then go and rewatch the series, and I would realise just 1. how different both things were (yet how it was almost an unsaid rule that fanon was the actual canon) and 2. That Buddie just wasn't there in the way that was pushed in the fandom. All the moments of jealousy they claimed happened? Didn't happen. Buck spending all of his free time with the Diaz boys? Didn't happen. Buck and Eddie being co-dependent to the point everyone teased them about it? Didn't happen.

Their friendship, even? Not even half as good or deep as the fanfics write it to be. But that's a whole other rant lol.

My point is, it's fine to have a world created in fanon. My OTP isn't canon, all of my works exist solely in fanon. And it's fine! But a line is crossed whenever they try to force fanon into canon, and harass everyone who refuses to do that.

Also - I really don't like how they make Buck this defenseless man-child that needs Eddie to fight his battles because everyone is so mean to him, and only Eddie can save him. Bffr. Buck lived on his own for years, was a nomad for years. He's been shown to have a temper if pushed and poked enough. His sunny outer persona distracts people from it, but honestly? Buck can fight his own battles perfectly fine on his own (and has, in fact, done exactly that for the entirety of the show).

As long as that devil doesn't pose a threat to you, he's fine with letting you date whoever you want

If you try to comfront him about it he's just like "You are under my care and he's under Marbas' care, there's no reason for him to be in the same wing as you"

He wants to break you two off, but not directly. So he just hopes that the physical distance between you and your boyfriend would make the relationship deteriorate by itself.

How I feel about this character

I love him, plain and simple.

I remember watching a friend play through OG years ago, before I played it, idly going through the strategy guide he had while he was bumbling around the overworld map, and seeing the Nibelheim section - and the guide going over how to get Vincent. Pointed right at the screenshot of him standing on the back of his coffin and told my friend, "you ARE getting him, right??"

Both my dad and I remember when I pulled a literal all-nighter to get Vincent when I played - from 5 PM to 5 AM, my poor dad checking on me right before he left for work just as Vincent did That Backflip, and his deadpan "...this is who you played all night for?"

Me: Dad, I love him.

Dad: ...please go to sleep after you save your game.

But I honestly adore just about everything about him. His overall character designs ping my love of vampires and gothic artstyles (though he is not a vampire), and his character arc in all its tragedy and redemption - he's gone through so much in his life, death, and existence now, and I love that he finally triumphs over it all and is on the way to finally being able to LIVE HIS LIFE, post-Dirge. He's helped me get through some really shitty times (to put it lightly) in my life, he's introduced me to some of my best friends... I owe him a lot~

I'm excited (and a little nervous/reserved) to see his storyline in the Remake continuity. We've gotten little tastes of it with his initial reactions to the group, THAT BATTLE (that yes, I cried through the first time, and teared up at the Rebirth concert), the design of the mansion basement (GODS IT ACHES ;; ), and the side-quests he's involved in... I want to see him get his showdown with Hojo. I want to see him starting to come to grips with everything now that he's decided to leave the mansion for good.

I want to hug him, goddammit (and I kinda get to in a few weeks when I go to C2E2 lol).

All the people I ship romantically with this character

Vincent/Reilena, aka VinRei. Yes, she is my OC, and has been my brainchild for over 20 years (watch me age myself).

Allow me to share a plate from this bountiful buffet I have cultivated, for I am a canon/oc shipper who makes her own food and will always welcome a new seat to the table~

Though I know now this makes me look incredibly biased, if we go strictly by canon, the only romantic ships I have with him are both unrequited - Vincent/Lucrecia (though I headcanon that they definitely had an emotional affair, and remained friends up until he was murdered, hence his initial "?!?!?!" when he discovers what Lucrecia's done to him as well in DoC), and Vincent/Reeve (Reeve is crushing HARD, alas).

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Platonic Valenwind gives me SUCH goddamn life, and Dirge made me SO happy when it revealed that Vincent and the Highwinds are still close friends, to the extent that Shera worries about his well-being, and Cid talks about "grabbing some cold ones" after the Deepground crisis. The mental image I have of Vincent, Cid, and Shera on a moonlit porch, stargazing and shooting the shit while having drinks is priceless.

My unpopular opinion about this character

I don't like the spikiness of his hair in Rebirth; give him back his original/AC or Dirge hair, dammit.

In all seriousness though - I don't like his appearance in Before Crisis (I don't like most of BC as a whole, but that's a ramble for another day). Instead of giving us a potential flashback to his time as a Turk, actually showing us what he did before he was sent to his death Nibelheim, we instead get yet another person waking him up before the OG just for him to give the location of a materia and for shippers to squeal "BUT THEY WERE ~PARTNERS~" because if you have two men partnered together in the Turks, they're obviously fucking.

Yes, I'm being sarcastic.

It feels like an unnecessary cameo done purely to snag fans of his from the OG. I would have rather the Player Turk peeked in, get freaked out a la Zack, and been like "LET'S LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE."

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

SHOW US VINCENT AS A TURK.

SHOW HIM ACTUALLY DOING TURK THINGS.

Short of that, please give us ALL of his Limit Breaks in R3, SE. Do not soften them either - you gave us a big, beautiful beast with Galian (I said what I said), I am certain you're going all out with Chaos, I want to see Death Gigas and Hellmasker given a loving glow-up as well. Really get into those horror movie, Gothic influences.

My instinct regarding accusations of 'queerbaiting' is if a piece of media ultimately ends with the queer characters in question in an established relationship, it is not queerbaiting.

"The Finale" of What We Do in the Shadows, in its OG or 'sacred timeline' if you will, ends with Nandor not only assuring Guillermo that he has a place with the vampires (with him) regardless of his mortal status which is in line with Nandor's established love languages; and then, he invites Guillermo to sit in his coffin with him the way a couple might occupy a two-seater sweetheart sofa, and surprises him with the secret superhero lair that nobody thought he was serious about (one of the most delightful recurring tropes of the show imo). Even more obvious is the alternate universe ending supplied helpfully by Nadja's vampire hypnosis wherein a human Guillermo and Nandor are incontrovertibly gay married and in bed together. By all accounts, Nandermo is canon and married and a couple, et cetera, ad nauseum.

Still, for all of the quiet, soft moments between them across the past six seasons + all of their homoerotic fighting and such, it surprised me that the show sort of failed to "stick the landing," as Colin Robinson offers. I doubt anyone expected the flagrant homosexual dance between Blackbeard and Steed in Our Flag Means Death to be so romantically and exquisitely realized, and perhaps this set an impossible standard, but I can't help but wonder what ultimately accounted for the decision to soft shoe Nandermo into "The Finale" vs. allowing them to finally kiss and be married and co-plan the next Staten Island vampire orgy (because somehow they'd figure out how to make it work for Guillermo to be a vampire); essentially all of the 'boring' hallmarks that the final episode intentionally catalogued through meta fourth wall-breaking and that whose absence makes the cheeky nature of said cataloging kind of feel like whomever made the call to end the show as such is laughing at vs. with the fans.

Alas, "The Finale" feels a tad mean compared to the way similar OTP ships are dealt with in Taika media, and maybe it's simply that he wasn't directly involved and Paul Simms was feeling hounded and peckish. Given how antagonistic much of fandom's one-sided parasocial relationship with media makers can be - and unfortunately, be it borne from immaturity or malice or desperation to see a much-loved concept be realized, this is a huge issue among some Shadows fen - I wouldn't blame the writer(s) for going into "The Finale" at least somewhat embittered. Even so, I can't help but read some compromise and disappointment between the lines of a recent interview with Harvey Guillen regarding how Nandermo ends up:

I think that, for the longest time, when I started playing Guillermo, that was the idea behind the character was like, "Are they, will they, does he?" And I think, because they have a little bit of Stockholm Syndrome, you start feeling a little bit of a way, because the only thing you see in front of you becomes like this person you idolize. He really does idolize Nandor, and he really does want to be a great vampire like him one day. And I think, sometimes, those lines can get blurry. So, the way that Guillermo is, I always say, I walk him on a tightrope, and it's like if he falls one way, he could be in love, and if he falls the other way, it was admiration, it was just admiration for this person. And that's a nice tight rope, because it's such a balance that people are always asking, "Will they, won't they?" I think sometimes we have to normalize two male friends being really close and not making it sexual. I think that we don't do that in society. If we saw two best friends who are female holding hands on the playground, we'd be like, "Oh, my God, they're best friends." But if we see two boys holding hands on the playground, all of a sudden, "What are you guys doing? What are you guys doing? Separate them." Because that's not normal in society, that's not "normal," but it is, and it should be normalized, that we can have close friends and not be sexual, it doesn't have to be. We could have close, same-sex friends and do everything like in a relationship, go to movies, talk about your personal beliefs, your struggles, your life, crying on each other's shoulders, and not have to make it sexual. Because I think once we cross that line, people are like, "Well, you might as well be married, why don't you marry them?" And it's like, you don't have to marry them, you could be in love and have love for someone and not have to make it sexual. I think with these characters, we've done a really great job of keeping the audience on their toes of that. Now, will something happen this season that questions that even more, or makes them one way or the other? I guess you'll have to find out.

TL;DR: Optimistically, my 'ideal' ending that I've had lodged in my head for at least three seasons was not, in fact, realized on the small screen, and thus, I shall see you all over at AO3 and/or lurking in the show's Tumblr tags!

What’s the origin of your blog title?

Well I just wanna start by giving an honorary mention to my former, longstanding url bc I had that one since this blog’s inception!

My former url, ‘selfindulgentfandomstuff’ was born of my half assed attempt at coming up with a blog name that indicated that I was a selfshipper and not just a normal fandom blog! I realize in hindsight, it probably did just the opposite haha! Still, it became kind of iconic amongst my mutuals/followers, I think, which is why I mention it haha!

My ACTUAL url as it is currently, ‘murdocs-sweetheart’, is the final nail in the metaphorical coffin that is my relationship with Murdoc (CBS MacGyver). I love that guy so so much and I wanted a url to reflect that yknow?

And I think my alternate, that I’m still equally enthused about- so much so that I added it here- is working in research in quantum physics. Particularly stuff in quantum field theory! Cliche, I know, eeeeverybody wants to do ✨Quantum Physics✨ now but idccc I love the subject so much!!

random headcanon- i have already talked about him being fan of reading but did you know he also writes sometimes? It is not *great* and almost all of them are wips because he is never sure how to end a story but he is trying

unpopular opinion- if i see one more "Kuron the evil mean clone" i will scream.

Other than- ok. You know how much i love him right? He is one of my favourites and i like him more than Shiro, you know that right? I need you to know and remember that when i say the next part.

Entire clone arc was just not needed. Like you could have had the same effect with Shiro being mind controlled and i personally feel it would have been better. Clone arc just overcomplicated an already messy plot, added even more elements and questions that went absolutely nowhere, left behind a shit load of plot holes, became the final nail in the coffin of Shiro having any possible arc or development, and added a new sympathetic character just to kill him off as a plot device.

And the entire "You are my brother Shiro, i love you" who is it for? Literally who is it for? It would have been much more heart wrenching if it was mind controlled Shiro but we clearly established that is not him. That guy is not Shiro, and Keith as i recall had like 3 on screen conversations with him, 2 of them being strained and then Keith just fucks off with the Blades for most of 3 seasons. Is it really me if I didn't put my otps through it? Aka, Gabarie, but it's post LoS1 and pre MoF. Careful, the warnings are there for a reason, be mindful if you get squeamish around graphic content.

Dracul's hands were shaking, his mind fuzzy from the blood of the Castle. He was so cold and tired, his body felt like a puppet on strings. His eyes were dazed and his feet traveled a path he has traveled many, many times. In the light of the moon, he comes to a grave. The stone was illegible to his blurry eyes, but he knew who this grave belonged to.

He sank to his knees, the ground beneath him was cold and wet. Was it raining? He didn't know. Leaning forward, he dug his hands into the wet dirt, and started to dig. The mud clung to his body as his claws scratch the casket inside the grave. With a gasp, he pulls the casket out. So close, he was so close. He just needed...

He stands back up and dragged the casket through the mud and rain. He needed to keep her safe, that was part of his vows. Dracul didn't care if this led the Brotherhood back to the Castle. As long as his beloved was safely back in his arms, God, himself, could come down and destroy everything. Dracul wasn't aware of when he got back to the safety of the Castle, but he couldn't focus on that, he needed to show his beloved to her new bed!

He carried the casket up the stairs, pushing open one of the wooden doors. Within the room were two tombs. One was small, housing the body of his dam. Laura, the one, who under better circumstances, would've been a beloved member of the Belmont family. With Dracul's presence, candles on top of the coffin came alight, bringing light into the room.

He greets Laura, before turning his head and dragging the casket close to the second tomb. This tomb was larger, with the softest silk and fur inside it. Marie deserved the best, and he was determined to give her such. Carefully, he opened the casket. Curse the Sisters within the Brotherhood of Light! They never bothered to put her in proper funeral attire, nor did they reattach her poor head. That would never do for his Consort!

He pulls her out and carefully strips her of her clothes, being mindful of her now bloated body. Dracul could smell the scent of rot from her body, but didn't mind. He was certain that he didn't smell much better. With a soft hum, he begins to gently clean her.

"There we are. I don't want you getting sick once I reattach your head!" Dracul gleefully states, as he grabs the thread and needle. Carefully realigning her head to her body, he began to sew into the soft flesh. It wasn't his neatest work, but, as he bit his hand and rubbed it onto the threads, he made sure to make it strong.

Once he was done with her head, something in him paused. Something pulled him forward, making him lean his head into her chest. Dracul listened closely, hearing nothing at first, until a subtle bu-bump bu-bump filled his ears. A heart beat? He lifts his head, bewildered. His hand comes up and his claw traces down her chest. He could feel the heart thumping against his hand, making him cut into her flesh. The rotting flesh gave way easily, putting up no resistance as he dug into her body, pulling out the beating organ. Dracul held the organ delicately in his hand. It was decaying, yet beating. This..... This was a gift! A gift from his beloved! Eagerly accepting the gift, he ripped himself open. Nudging his own organs around, he places her heart close to his, forcing his body to accept the organ. After his body heals, he cleans and sews up the mess he made of her.

One of his minions brings up a beautiful burial gown. A white and blue gown, with gold silk embroidery, made into beautiful and elegant patterns, complete with a Belmont crest brooch; a blue hose, that Dracul very carefully placed on her legs; and white silk slips that he slid onto her feet. A succubus gently lifted Marie's body, making it easier for Dracul to brush her hair, and then wrap it up. Dracul smiled at the succubus, good. They know who their princess was, and responded accordingly.

Once Marie had her wrap, he picked her up and, very gently, slid her into her tomb. Once she was in place, he decorated the inside with flowers and treasures, before placing a beautiful, ornate crown close to her head. Marie was the Princess Consort, she deserved all of this.

Then he stares at her, gently petting her cheek with his knuckles. Leaning down, he presses a kiss to her cold lips. He savored this final kiss, savoring the feel of her under his hand. Dracul pulls away, and slides the tomb lid in place, locking it in place. He traces his hand along her tomb as he walks towards a stash of unlit candles. Each candle found a new home atop Marie's tomb, being lit by Dracul's magic as he places each one.

Dracul made a vow years ago to keep Marie safe, and he'd be damned if Death stopped him from fulfilling his husbandly duties to his beloved.

I see SWD as a second love for LW - he can never replace Bai Jing, but he's also not pushing her on it. And SWD is extremely grateful for her help with the fate swap that he has decided that he is ride or die for this woman (I have a lot of headcanons regarding LW's motivations there haha)

I just see them at two people who would be very open with each other, and LW as the one person who could tame the water tyrant

So Jey’s whole deal is; Despite hailing from Astral World and being obligated to participate in their favor during the war ﹣ he’s actually the Son of Balance. His father, Protos, (the Heart of Astral World, as some called) was the guardian/overseer of the harmony between Chaos and Order. Before shit hit the fan in every conceivable way lmfao On top of that, Jey’s just.. a rogue and a rapscallion ahsgdhjs He never was keen on how black-&-white the war seemed, but relearning about the complete villainization of one half of a necessary energy was the final coffin nail. And that disagreeance is literally in his soul makeup! He was created in equal Chaotic Energy and Pure Energy. That balance is intermittently tied throughout him; He is meant to be the harbinger of Balance. Even Jey himself isn’t fully aware of how ingrained it is due to his own amnesia, but he does know obliterating all Chaos is not the answer, there’s something in his bones defying it. It’s a rather big plot point in his story that he starts to feel divided from the main crew because of this. Not Yuma﹣ Yuma is the only one backing Jey up at all ﹣but Astral. And it’s Astral’s rejection (spawned from the envoy's own rigid ideals and mission) that hurts Jey enough to push him out of the group for a brief period. ✨breakup arc woes✨

. . . And this is how and when Mist finds him. They make an alarming well fit duo. Their personalities mesh, and they do surprisingly? Okay? To avoid overt toxicity in their alliance? Mist doesn’t get preached at to change, or to “join a side of the war”, or be force locked in his card, so he tolerates having Jey around. And obviously Jey can’t be affected by Mist’s number influence, and he's naturally domineering enough to counteract when Mist gets too... himself lmao. Jey has a Robin Hood type of suave and charm whereas Mist acts increasingly seductive and invades people’s space because he wants to intimidate. Jey knows how to beat Mist at his own game, which both intrigues and aggravates the Number. Like two people who know one another via a friend-of-a-friend, and go on this epic journey and end up unconventionally thick as thieves like halfway through the movie. ASDFGH

Mist likes Jey’s assertiveness and darker side - the viability to resort to vicious methods and being such a rebel personality despite supposed loyalty to the world of “pure” ideals. Jey is pulled in by Mist’s unapologetic “take me or leave me” nature and his recognition of the hypocrisy regarding the war from both ends. And ofc the Number's unique brand of effortless beauty and free-bird, unaffiliated presence. Those two tend to, pretty universally, have a quick chemistry and natural connection. [ It’s also thanks to that natural connection that a certain lightbulb gets his first experiences dealing with an ‘unknown’ and green-eyed emotion. 😉 ] Also also, fun fact - if it could not already be told by these answers lol - These two are my second highest OTP, right after Goldenship (Jey x Astral /JeiAsu) ! I call them Pierceshipping. Since they have a lot of piercing qualities (particularly their affinity for bedroom-eyed stares and smirks) And because they each canonically stab someone through the chest.

Some news (I guess)

I went through my desk and drawers and went through all my art WIPS. Lots going years back, some nearly a decade old now, that I never got around to finishing. Some I'm not going to finish, that I'm just going to shred and put on the garden as the art has no interest to me now. But others I really want to finish. I'm going to have to redo them from scratch as my art style has improved a lot since when I began creating fanart. (I didn't believe I could draw people before then.) I also have a lot of fic WIPs I want to finish too. Some I've started posting, most that I haven't.

I'm also kind of wanting to get into writing some longer fics. I still love drabbles. But I've got some fic ideas too large for drabbles. I've re-organized my AO3 with this in mind. I had all my bingo and event content grouped together in different series (93 in all - with multiple rounds all saved in the one series). I moved these all into Collections (119 of them, wow) which works so much better for me. This means my AO3 series contains only series, which is great (It's nice to be able to fine my actual series now). I was surprised that I had only created three series. I have plans to create a few more 😉

I gained a few new fandoms. Not that I'm leaving the Marvel fandom. I'm not! I've stopped watching the newer MCU stuff though.

I got around to seeing the DnD film, Honour Among Thieves. Xenk Yendar is dear to me. The movie was so earnest with its storytelling. I could see the way it was going, the tropes were heavily signposted. But it deviled perfectly. You could see what was coming and weren't disappointed with its application. (i.e. Simon/Confidence, Edgin/Letting go etc). It was really well done.

Black Sails is a pit I've fallen into and can't crawl out of... The show - Flint, really - reignited something in me I hadn't realized had gone out. The belief that it's still possible to fight for a better world.

Gates was my favourite until his death. Flint had a lot of redeeming to do in my eyes after that, but he became my new favourite. I'm sorry to say I wasn't a fan of S!lver. He gave me anxiety from the get-go with all his plotting and antics (some of which, I admittedly found amusing). I was torn between laughing and wanting to throttle him until season 3. During which, my opinion of him started going downhill with few redeeming moments. (The final episode was the nail in the coffin for me.)

Do I think S!lver killed Flint?  I don't think it matters. Both endings are equally devastating. Death or the plantation (possibly allowed to be with Thomas if the owner is benevolent enough to let them have time together - unlikely - Oglethorpe speaks of people 'cease[ing] to be' in the same way S!lver talks of 'unmaking' people. **Cough Cough Conversion Vibes Cough**.)

Funny aside. When I first saw Mariana (coupled with how Flint responded to her - He looked really grief-stricken and a little shocked? and tried), I legitimately thought she might be a ghost of someone from his past. My friend, who I was sharing my watch-through with, laughed uncontrollably. I didn't understand why... Until she actually became a ghost that haunted him.

I adore FlintHamiltons. I would say the three are my OTP of the series... but... I also really like Flane. I didn't like Vane at first but he really grew on me. I jokingly started shipping it when Vane said he was going to save Flint. I started shipping it a little more earnestly as he did as he said he would. But when Vane saved Flint from Teach it was like falling down the stairs into the ship. I was hopelessly, irrevocably lost to Flane. FlintHamiltons and Flane are near equal in my heart. So FlaneHamiltons are my really OTP because why not both?

I really loved how Teach was handled? Normally when Blackbeard is in a show I've just been disappointed. Mostly he's just a two-dimensional villain who wants ultimate power. Very boring. The sigh of relief I gave in episode one when Blackbeard was just one of Noonan's girls. I was so relieved. Then he was introduced in season 3 and I was admittedly disappointed. I loved pirates as a kid. So I recognized the name Teach. I perked up when I heard his name, because I was like "Hey, I know that name! I know Teach!!!" only seconds later to go, oh crap, it's Teach. They brought in Blackbeard. Great. I was happily surprised with how they portrayed him. That my expectations were proven very wrong. I love him. That moment with Vane in Season 3 Episode 3 where Teach offers Vane a choice, not an ultimatum hit me in the heart. The way he asks Vane to be his son/legacy. Doesn't claim. Asks! Offers him the choice. I've never seen that in a show. And it got to me. I felt horrible for Teach when Vane sided with Flint on the beach. And sad that it was in part because Teach slipped up and created an ultimatum for Vane. Him or Flint. And Vane picked Flint.

(I shall stop talking about Black Sails... for now. That show has taken up residence in my soul, I swear.)

I've reignited my love of Star Wars (though I'm not a fan of the direction Disney has taken things.), though my ships have changed slightly (Obi-Wan is still my favourite). Ob!k!n is very much a NOPE! Anak!n too, kind of... sorry (I can't get past a lot of his choices. or political views, especially with how real-world stuff has gone). Still adore the Jedi, love my soft found family of space empath wizards.

I've read a fic where Boddy was also undercover and they are partners... and I'm not letting that go. The whole "Sit" moment is really funny now with that added fantext.)

Playing Coffin of Andy and Leyley is like... wow, it is sure a long time ago I shipped a really toxic pairing. My last incest OTP was Uchihacest too... and that was truly two decades ago.

I really miss the times where I could read a lot of shippy fics with guro. Sure, Transformers had tons of guro, but my OTPs were pretty tame and it does not feel the same when reading about some randos getting dissected vs. your beautiful OTP destroying each other.

(Scratch that, now that I think about it Ajin fandom was pretty nice... it had plenty of guro, but it being a small fandom, it did not feed me for long.)

I guess, it also has something to do with the fact that lately I switched over to reading books. Maybe it's time to read Administration series again or to find some slasher books. Or maybe both.
