New intro time since I’m back from hibernation!

Hello there. Welcome to my humble home, excuse the mess.

You can call me Wade, Deadpool, Will, Wilson or anything of the sort. I’ve been on fictionkin tumblr for about a year now but I figured out the whole thing long before I stepped foot here and even now I’m still figuring out the ropes

I sometimes write longer post about the fictionkin/alterhuman community but I haven’t been doing that as much since my 3rd movie came out. I’m kind of still shaky from that whole ordeal. Source stress took me out for months

it's a little intro about my sea serpent kin! it's a pretty solid one that i've discovered more than four years ago. it's flickering in intensity, but the subconscious presence of this identity is pretty strong even when i'm in doubt or denial. it has a link to one of the alters, but a small one: we have a specific alter who is a sea serpent, too, but a very different one, so i don't think these identities are strongly related (and i'm absolutely sure they're not the same)

a long, serpentine dragon with pale blue scales, long snout with two even longer carp-like whiskers, a pair of straight ivory horns, webbed ear-like fins on the sides of the head and a long spinal fin. all four feet have long, webbed and clawed fingers, the tip of the tail has a large fish-like fin. the size from the tip of the snout to the tip of the tail must be under 10 m, which makes me a rather small dragon in comparison to the typical image.

i lack any special type of breath and have no ability to fly. i also have no gills, which means i have to breathe air, but i can hold my breath for a very long time. my main diet consists of fish, crustaceans, mollusks and seaweed.

- cravings of seafood, preferably raw, during shifts.

- urges to click, growl, make guttural purrs and other vocalisations.

Hi everybody! I am a therian. My main theriotype is that of the European Badger (Meles meles).

I didn't have an "awakening" (which is normal and does not make me any less of a therian), but I realized I was a therian some time in elementary school. I suppressed it for a long time. I didn't know my theriotype until 2021.

I have some other alterhuman identities, but they're not going to be the main focus of this blog.

My Theriotype

No therian can solidly tell you why they are what they are. I couldn't tell you why I'm a badger even if I tried. It's just what I am!

My theriotype does not have a name separate from mine.

It appears as a standard European badger.

I rarely get shifts, but when I do they're usually dream shifts. Never too vivid, but I wake up aware of what has happened.

I don't practice quadrobics or wear gear. These are relatively new concepts to the therianthropy community, and I'm just not in a place to do that.

I plan on getting a tattoo of my badger one day. That's the way I feel I'll be most connected to it!

Who am I? What am I?

Hm. Good question.

I'm supposed to be a human. I think at least a part of me is. Though I'm good at adapting to most anything, so maybe it wouldn't matter either way

I sometimes feel like a cat. I like the idea of sleeping and waking at any time. Hunting like a cat, stretching like a cat, emoting like a cat, being able to defend myself like a cat. Sometimes I like the idea of being someone's pet cat, a cozy and domestic life. Or being a wild one, free to do as I please.

I have a bit of dog in me too. I get very excited seeing people I care about, even if I consider myself an introvert (alone time is still my recharge time). Wagging my tail would be such a good happy stim.

Horses too, I think. I can fairly vividly imagine emoting like a horse. I have always liked horses.

I love birds. I used to pretend to be a bird as a kid (and probably a cat too but I digress). I love to sing. My heart aches a little whenever I see crows crossing the sky, or hear their calls. I miss my wings. I never had any.

I can imagine being a mermaid. That's not supposed to be a real thing, but I can imagine swimming out in the ocean with a mermaid tail just as well as, if not better than, how I can imagine flying with bird wings while in a human body. I've never swam out in the open ocean before. but I miss it
