Cassgenic )
Cassgenic : A plural origin term in which a system has a specific origin (or multiple) but finds their origin unimportant, not worth discussing, and may even be uncomfortable sharing it.
This term is not inherently endogenic, it can refer to any origin!

Secrecopegenic
A term for system members that formed/were created to help cope with certain things that the system or a few system members very secretly enjoys or likes but struggles to be open/comfortable about it due to a variation of reasons, and wishes for those things they secretly like to be remained a secret forever and taken to the grave.
This can be talking about sexual and nonsexual kinks, interests, hobbies, so on and so forth.
In a way, it is similar to the secret keeper role, but not entirely.
Tumblr media
(Lowkey personal for us because this is our experience; we are not giving away a lot of info, but we do have a specific kink that is very controversal for us because it clashes with one of our triggers. Its not even a kink based around anything illegal or anything morally wrong its just so unfortunate that a very few select couple of us have it so now we're finally coining a term for our experience :(((( )

if its uploaded to like pluralpedia or a wiki or somn pls give us credit or somn gang thanks

Posicgenic
[PT: Posicgenic]]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Posicgenic, also known as POSICgenic or POSIC+genic, is a -genic term defined as when a system or headmate's origin is influenced by their POSIC+ identity. This typically presents as: • A POSIC+ beholder identifying as plural due to their hoarde • A POSIC+ companion becoming a headmate • An already existing system introjecting their companion • Etc.
Hi guys! I forgot to post this when we coined it the other day. We wanted something to describe our experiences, and we couldn't find anything like it. Hopefully this will help someone else out there too!
The flag is inspired by the original POSIC flag colors, but with a little spin on it. Anyone on either side of syscourse is free to use this in good faith, so please don't start drama.

The genus Silurian ("Person of the Silures", in reference to the historical territory of Wales in which they were first found) was initially known only from a single fossil, notable in part for the unusual object fossilized alongside it (1). Though this was generally accepted to simply be a large petrified stick, the "Silurian Artifact" and the associated "Silurian Hypothesis" were often a point of discussion in the topic of dinosaur intelligence and the theory of pre-human civilizations. It wasn't until large-scale mining operations began to impede on their extensive networks of stasis chambers that the Silurians themselves finally woke up and were able to meet humankind in person. To the surprise of many (and dismay of a few) the Silurians were not the scaled, humanoid "dinosauroids" so often depicted, but colorful, feathered, and relatively goose-shaped. Most Silurians who were present in the planet's underground represent the gentry and high ranking military, who were given priority in the earth-based shelters. Most others were evacuated on large, extensive spaceships, all of which are yet to return to Earth. Due to this, the varied mindsets and cultures of the Silurians are in shambles at best, largely replaced by the speciesism and real estate concerns of the upper classes. (1) Much later, the original type fossil was identified as Rohlik, a student who fell to his death after attempting to drunkenly pole vault over a ravine with a large petrified stick.

Something something Fitzjames and Hodgson are two of the most dandy-ish characters in The Terror but they're also two of the most dangerous; they've both been to war, both do the greatest damage to Tuunbaq using the weaponry they were trained in by the navy (Hodgson with the cannon and Fitzjames with the congreves), and Hodgson is also the one to kill the Inuit family, directly connecting the violence of imperialism with the gentlemanly facade it likes to use.

Prompt 271
“Grandmother is visiting,” Damian suddenly said with no warning and with his usual not-quite demanding tone.
“Who?” Tim wasn’t the only one to startle, seeing as Bruce had practically froze, a downturn to his lips in a silent show of confusion.
Damian scowled. “Are you deaf Drake? Grandmother is coming to Gotham to, quote, make sure I am being properly cared for.” None of them had known that Ras was with anyone actually. At least Tim was pretty sure that would have been in the files.
“Oh?” Dick didn’t quite crouch to Damian’s height but it was a near thing. “She-” “He,” Damian corrected, interrupting him. They all exchanged a glance before Dick continued.
“Is he coming to the Manor or…”
Damian scoffed again, a tiny bit of a flush against his face. “No, Grandmother will most likely be staying with Akhi-”
Now wait one moment-
“YOU HAVE ANOTHER BROTHER?!”

God it would rule to be an early 70s hitman, cruising up to the location in my black 1965 Lincoln Continental, getting out, black suit, sunglasses on a cloudy day, walking to the back to retrieve the briefcase with my disassembled rifle before heading inside to the vantage point. No expression, fully dead inside. The dream.

"While all this is happening, Orym has gone full shell shock mode. He's not talking anymore. He's going to go slump down onto a rock and is listening to all the debating at this point and he doesn't know what to do. He's been so sure for so long, and doesn't know what to do. Going in feels so wrong to him. But he hears the logic that it's only a matter of time before someone or something, a day from now, a year from now, six months from now. And just let's them figure it out, because he's took all his energy to make it to this point."

i just read about the "narcissism of small differences," aka the idea that the more a community has in common, the more likely the people in it are to engage in interpersonal feuds and mutual ridicule because of hypersensitivity to minor differences perceived in each other, and i knew there was a reason my time in academia and fandom felt oddly similar lmao

I do wonder if people who used to constantly complain about "filler" are finally happy now if they're enjoying the state of television series or if they're now complaining that tv shows only have 8 episodes per season like the rest of us
