As they step out of Aqualette.
Jade: Azul are you alright
Floyd: Yeah Azul
Azul: I’m alright. Rielle just wanted to give his apologies from when we were younger.
Jade and Floyd: Really
Round 5!
Start - Daydreamers (pt.2) - Jungleheart (Ch.3) - Aqualetta (Ch.4)
Potential
Rollo paused and turned to look at the trio of fishmen. "Who's Rielle?"
"The prince of Coral Sea." Jade responded. "And one of Azul's childhood bullies."
He blinks and looks at Azul as he adjusts his glasses. "Bullies? You were bullied?"
"Yeah~" Floyd chirped. "Back when Azul was a little Octo-mmph!"
Azul had shoved his hand over his mouth. "Enough."
"If you are done with your conversation." They turned to see Jamil with his arms crossed. "I'm going to assume she wasn't there by the fact that she isn't with you."
"Ah, Jamil-san... you're right." Azul sighed. "Rielle said she might be in Potential."
Jamil's frown deepen as Kalim perked up next to him.
"Oh! We get to Jahzi!" Kalim pulled Jamil's arm in direction of an archway with an emblem of a genie's lamp on it. "Rollo, you too!"
"Kalim-" Jamil tried to say as he and Rollo were forced through the portal.
The heat blasted Rollo in the face as they emerged on the other side. Before them stood a massive marketplace with what looked like a palace in the background. Potential dorm members were walking around the makeshift city and conversing with one another as they seemed to be buying the crafts created by the other dorm members. Jamil was quick to pull up his hood and hide his face as Kalim looks around with glee.
"Let's see." He opened his mouth to yell. "Jah-Mmph!"
Jamil covered his ward's mouth and hissed out. "Kalim, we're not supposed to be drawing attention to ourselves."
"Oh, right. My bad!" He smiled and took off further into the dorm. "Let's look around!"
"Kalim!" Jamil followed after him, leaving Rollo sighing and running a hand down his face.
"I'm going to confide myself to Ramshackle after this little adventure." He grumbled to himself and, regrettable, followed the pair.
They got to the walkway above the market before someone greeted them.
"Kalim."
The trio were faced with a teenager with long brown hair and red eyes staring at them. Beside him was a taller and stockier tiger beastman, his ears twitched on top of his orange and black hair.
"Jahzi!" Kalim rushed to hug his cousin. "Hi, Amur!"
Jahzi staggered back as he took the full force of his cousin's hug as Amur steadied him.
"Hello, Al-Asim."
"Sevens, Kalim, as happy as I am to see you, why are you in RSA?" Jahzi's eyes moved up as he glared at Jamil. "With Viper of all people."
"Jahzi." Jamil crossed his arms and glared back. "We're here because your classmate kidnapped an NRC student."
"Was it the girl who was here earlier?" Amur asked with a flick of his tail.
"So she was here....at a point?" Rollo sighed. "This is a cat and mouse chase..."
"Am I right in assuming she's your betrothed?" Amur tilts his head. "Although, how a woman of her skill wound up in NRC is a mystery."
"Indeed..." He tried ignoring that tiger basically said they were engaged.
"So we know she's not here." Jamil pulled Kalim back by his cardigan. "We should be going."
Jahzi tighten his grip on Kalim. "Why not have him stay here? You can pick him up later, Viper."
"We're leaving now."
"What's the rush?"
"Jahzi-"
"Now, now, no fighting in the dorm." They paused to see a short brown haired and tan skinned student walking towards them. "Jahzi, c'mon."
Jahzi sighed and let Kalim go as the white haired Al-Asim laughed. "Riley, you're back."
"Yeah." He gave Jahzi a kiss on the cheek. "Saw a bunch of people in the lobby and got curious as to what was going on. Manged to piece together that they're here for Yuu, no doubt." He moved away from the teen and stuck his hand out to Rollo. "You're Rollo, right? I'm Riley Nights, Dorm leader of Potential. Jahzi is my vice and Amur is his retainer."
Rollo blinked and shook his hand. "Yes, how did you know?"
"Yuu informed me that her boyfriend and the other NRC students were on their way over. I'm sorry for what Neige and Chen'ya did." Riley sighed. "And now Phara's been thrown into the mix...."
Rollo looked at Riley and paused as he felt not a drop of magic coming from him. "I see..."
"She's over in Nevemela, sorry again for all the trouble."
"Thank you, Riley." Jamil pulled Kalim towards the entrance.
"You're welcome, Viper." Riley pulled his own Al-Asim away. "May we meet again on better terms."

================================================
‘How to Live Free in a Dangerous World’- Lawson, Shayla
[ID: A book cover. The background is a pale orange colour. In the centre, a large photograph of a person with brown skin standing in front a desert under a blue sky. They have short braided brown hair swept over their left eye, and have their arms crossed over their chest, with one hand resting on the side of their face. The title “How to Live Free in a Dangerous World” is around them in large orange writing that covers the length of the photo. The subtitle “A Decolonial Memoir” is to the right their head in very small white writing. The author’s name “Shayla Lawson” is below the title, at the bottom of the photograph, in smaller yellow writing. Black text at the bottom of the cover reads, under the author’s name, reads “author of ‘this is major’, a national book critics circle award finalist”. /end]
Summary:
Poet and journalist Shayla Lawson follows their National Book Critics Circle finalist This Is Major with these daring and exquisitely crafted essays, where Lawson journeys across the globe, finds beauty in tumultuous times, and powerfully disrupts the constraints of race, gender, and disability.
With their signature prose, at turns bold, muscular, and luminous, Shayla Lawson travels the world to explore deeper meanings held within love, time, and the self.
Through encounters with a gorgeous gondolier in Venice, an ex-husband in the Netherlands, and a lost love on New Year’s Eve in Mexico City, Lawson’s travels bring unexpected wisdom about life in and out of love. They learn the strength of friendships and the dangers of beauty during a narrow escape in Egypt. They examine Blackness in post-dictatorship Zimbabwe, then take us on a secretive tour of Black freedom movements in Portugal.
Through a deeply insightful journey, Lawson leads readers from a castle in France to a hula hoop competition in Jamaica to a traditional theater in Tokyo to a Prince concert in Minnesota and, finally, to finding liberation on a beach in Bermuda, exploring each location—and their deepest emotions—to the fullest. In the end, they discover how the trials of marriage, grief, and missed connections can lead to self-transformation and unimagined new freedoms.
‘Being Seen’- Sjunneson, Elsa
[ID: A book cover. It is a dark black with faint, grey, writing over it. The writing, from top to bottom, reads: “Elsa Sjunneson” “Being Seen” “One Deafblind Woman’s Fight to End Ableism” All in capitals. The “I” in “Being Seen” is designed to look like an opening of sorts, with a ray of light coming through. /end]
Summary:
A deafblind writer and professor explores how the misrepresentation of disability in books, movies, and TV harms both the disabled community and everyone else.
As a deafblind woman with partial vision in one eye and bilateral hearing aids, Elsa Sjunneson lives at the crossroads of blindness and sight, hearing and deafnessmuch to the confusion of the world around her. While she cannot see well enough to operate without a guide dog or cane, she can see enough to know when someone is reacting to the visible signs of her blindness and can hear when they’re whispering behind her back. And she certainly knows how wrong our one-size-fits-all definitions of disability can be.
As a media studies professor, she’s also seen the full range of blind and deaf portrayals on film, and here she deconstructs their impact, following common tropes through horror, romance, and everything in between. Part memoir, part cultural criticism, part history of the deafblind experience, Being Seen explores how our cultural concept of disability is more myth than fact, and the damage it does to us all.
‘Disability Pride’- Mattlin, Ben
[ID: A book cover. The background is made of simple, colourful red, cream, white, yellow and teal shapes. Large text reads, from top to bottom: “Disability Pride” in large, black capitals, “Dispatches from a Post-ADA World”in smaller, black capitals, “Ben Mattlin”, in slightly bigger red capitals. /end]
Summary:
An eye-opening portrait of the diverse disability community as it is today and how attitudes, activism, and representation have evolved since the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
In Disability Pride, disabled journalist Ben Mattlin weaves together interviews and reportage to introduce a cavalcade of individuals, ideas, and events in engaging, fast-paced prose. He traces the generation that came of age after the ADA reshaped America, and how it is influencing the future. He documents how autistic self-advocacy and the neurodiversity movement upended views of those whose brains work differently. He lifts the veil on a thriving disability culture—from social media to high fashion, Hollywood to Broadway—showing how the politics of beauty for those with marginalized body types and facial features is sparking widespread change.
He also explores the movement’s shortcomings, particularly the erasure of nonwhite and LGBTQIA+ people that helped give rise to Disability Justice. He delves into systemic ableism in health care, the right-to-die movement, institutionalization, and the scourge of subminimum-wage labor that some call legalized slavery. And he finds glimmers of hope in how disabled people never give up their fight for parity and fair play.
Beautifully written, without anger or pity, Disability Pride is a revealing account of an often misunderstood movement and identity, an inclusive reexamination of society’s treatment of those it deems different.
‘Crip Kinship’- Kafai, Shayda
[ID: A book cover. The background is light blue, with colourful pictures of butterflies, flowers and a house setting featured in the centre. Lower right centre of the image, a black figure in a long sleeved, billowing dress, holding a curved black walking stick in their right hand. Behind them, a drawing of a room with a table, chair, pink wall with a window, and a blank wall with an orange picture. Text on the book cover, from top to bottom, reads: The title “Crip Kinship” in large black font at the top of the image, The subtitle “The Disability Justice & Art Activism of Sins Invalid” in smaller black capitals, in the upper right corner of the image, The authors name “Shayda Kafai” in medium black capitals in the lower right of the image, partially overlapping the figure in the dress. /end]
Summary:
The remarkable story of Sins Invalid, a performance project that centres queer disability justice.
In recent years, disability activism has come into its own as a vital and necessary means to acknowledge the power and resilience of the disabled community, and to call out ableist culture wherever it appears.
Crip Kinship explores the art activism of Sins Invalid, a San Francisco Bay Area-based performance project, and its radical imaginings of what disabled, queer, trans, and gender-nonconforming bodyminds of colour can do: how they can rewrite oppression, and how they can gift us with transformational lessons for our collective survival.
Grounded in the disability justice framework, Crip Kinship investigates the revolutionary survival teachings that disabled, queer of colour community offers to all our bodyminds. From their focus on crip beauty and sexuality to manifesting digital kinship networks and crip-centric liberated zones, Sins Invalid empowers and moves us toward generating our collective liberation from our bodyminds outward.
‘Sounds Like Home’- Wright, Mary Herring
[ID: A book cover. The background is yellow. A black and white photograph in the centre shows two young black children and a dog in front of a car. The title “Sounds Like Home” is at the tope in large, curvy black writing. The subtitle “Growing Up Black and Deaf in the South” is written in small orange writing, on three black bars on the right side of the cover. The author’s name “Mary Herring Wright” is written in curvy black writing, slightly smaller than the title, at the bottom of the cover. /end]
Summary:
Mary Herring Wright’s memoir adds an important dimension to the current literature in that it is a story by and about an African American deaf child. The author recounts her experiences growing up as a deaf person in Iron Mine, North Carolina, from the 1920s through the 1940s. Her story is unique and historically significant because it provides valuable descriptive information about the faculty and staff of the North Carolina school for Black deaf and blind students from the perspective of a student as well as a student teacher. In addition, this engrossing narrative contains details about the curriculum, which included a week-long Black History celebration where students learned about important Blacks such as Madame Walker, Paul Laurence Dunbar, and George Washington Carver. It also describes the physical facilities as well as the changes in those facilities over the years. In addition, Sounds Like Home occurs over a period of time that covers two major events in American history, the Depression and World War II.
Wright’s account is one of enduring faith, perseverance, and optimism. Her keen observations will serve as a source of inspiration for others who are challenged in their own ways by life’s obstacles.
‘The Right to Maim’- Puar, Jasbir K.
[ID: A book cover. The background is white. A painting stretches from the bottom of the cover to bottom of top quarter. In the upper quarter of the cover, text reads: The author’s name “Jasbir K. Puar” is at the top in black writing. The title “The Right to Maim” is immediately below this in red caps. The subtitle “Debility, Capacity, Disability” is immediately below this in smaller, yellow caps. The painting is immediately below this. The background is a dark cream. It appears to show a humanoid figure climbing a mound. Two other figures appear to be falling off the mound. There are splashes of red paint around the mound and the figure on it. /end]
Summary:
In The Right to Maim Jasbir K. Puar brings her pathbreaking work on the liberal state, sexuality, and biopolitics to bear on our understanding of disability. Drawing on a stunning array of theoretical and methodological frameworks, Puar uses the concept of “debility”—bodily injury and social exclusion brought on by economic and political factors—to disrupt the category of disability. She shows how debility, disability, and capacity together constitute an assemblage that states use to control populations. Puar’s analysis culminates in an interrogation of Israel’s policies toward Palestine, in which she outlines how Israel brings Palestinians into biopolitical being by designating them available for injury. Supplementing its right to kill with what Puar calls the right to maim, the Israeli state relies on liberal frameworks of disability to obscure and enable the mass debilitation of Palestinian bodies. Tracing disability’s interaction with debility and capacity, Puar offers a brilliant rethinking of Foucauldian biopolitics while showing how disability functions at the intersection of imperialism and racialized capital.
‘Uncomfortable Labels’- Dale, Laura Kate
[ID: A book cover. The background is a close photograph of some kind of knitted garment, and its label. The garment is blue. The label is in the centre. Text on the label reads: The title “Uncomfortable Labels” in large black caps The subtitle “My Life as a Gay Autistic Trans Woman” in smaller black caps, lower left of this The author’s name “Laura Kate Dale” at the bottom of the label in black writing. A smaller label attached to the bottom has a single, black capitalised “M” written on it. /end]
Summary:
“So while the assumption when I was born was that I was or would grow up to be a neurotypical heterosexual boy, that whole idea didn’t really pan out long term.”
In this candid, first-of-its-kind memoir, Laura Kate Dale recounts what life is like growing up as a gay trans woman on the autism spectrum. From struggling with sensory processing, managing socially demanding situations and learning social cues and feminine presentation, through to coming out as trans during an autistic meltdown, Laura draws on her personal experiences from life prior to transition and diagnosis, and moving on to the years of self-discovery, to give a unique insight into the nuances of sexuality, gender and autism, and how they intersect.
Charting the ups and downs of being autistic and on the LGBT spectrum with searing honesty and humour, this is an empowering, life-affirming read for anyone who’s felt they don’t fit in.
'Brilliant Imperfections'- Clare, Eli
[ID: A book cover. A photograph of stones can be seen. Over it, a dark box stretching from left to right at the top of the image. Text in the box reads: “Brilliant Imperfection”, in large caps. “Brilliant” is in green, “Imperfection is in white. “Grappling With Cure”, in small, green caps. “Eli Clare”, in white caps. /end]
Summary:
In Brilliant Imperfection Eli Clare uses memoir, history, and critical analysis to explore cure—the deeply held belief that body-minds considered broken need to be fixed.
Cure serves many purposes. It saves lives, manipulates lives, and prioritizes some lives over others. It provides comfort, makes profits, justifies violence, and promises resolution to body-mind loss. Clare grapples with this knot of contradictions, maintaining that neither an anti-cure politics nor a pro-cure worldview can account for the messy, complex relationships we have with our body-minds.
The stories he tells range widely, stretching from disability stereotypes to weight loss surgery, gender transition to skin lightening creams. At each turn, Clare weaves race, disability, sexuality, class, and gender together, insisting on the nonnegotiable value of body-mind difference. Into this mix, he adds environmental politics, thinking about ecosystem loss and restoration as a way of delving more deeply into cure.
Ultimately Brilliant Imperfection reveals cure to be an ideology grounded in the twin notions of normal and natural, slippery and powerful, necessary and damaging all at the same time.

Drunken Autumn Nights
Fingon x reader
A/N: Some fluff for a change instead of my usual October content. I was in the mood for lots of cozy autumn fluff this time of year. So, to start Flufftober, have some Fingon. Enjoy!
Warnings: fluff, intoxication (drunk reader), humour
Words: 2.1k
Synopsis: The best way to spend autumn nights when your beloved was free of duties, was to give him an impromptu (drunken) task.
The evening had settled with a soft breeze that rustled the vibrant leaves, painting the world in shades of burnt orange, deep red, and gold. Fingon and you had chosen the quiet seclusion of a small forest clearing, far from the demands of his duties as Crown Prince. The air was crisp, biting just enough to be refreshing, but not so cold that it chased you indoors. A perfect autumn evening, really—where the natural beauty of Arda was at its finest, and the skies had only just begun to darken with the twilight.
You had both brought a few bottles of wine along, eager to unwind after a particularly long stretch of obligations that Fingon had been forced to endure. He had been working tirelessly, and the chance to escape into nature was a rare one. So here you were, seated on a blanket in the soft grass, bottles uncorked and laughter already in the air. Fingon poured another glass, watching the liquid swirl before he handed it to you with a gentle smile, his eyes sparkling beneath his dark, braided hair.
At first, the conversation had been light—about the trees and how their leaves looked like flames against the sky. About Fingon’s recent duties and how he felt relief now that he could spend time away from court. But as the night grew older and the wine flowed more freely, something began to shift.
You were laughing at something Fingon had said—something about how Maglor once tried to compose an entire song about leaves, and it somehow ended up being a dirge for lost love. “He’s so dramatic,” Fingon chuckled, his smile widening as he glanced at you. “I swear, if he could write a tragic ballad about his morning tea, he would.”
But you weren’t really listening anymore. Not properly, anyway. The warmth of the wine had begun to work its magic, wrapping you in a pleasant haze where everything felt a little softer, a little funnier. You leaned back, gazing up at the sky that was now peppered with stars, and took another long sip from your glass. Fingon’s voice was still in the background, but your thoughts were wandering, losing focus, drifting like the leaves that tumbled gently from the trees.
“Fingon,” you said after a moment, your voice just a little too loud and slurred at the edges. “Did you know…did you know that leaves…they fall because they’re trying to run away from trees?”
He blinked and glanced over at you with a bemused smile. “Run away? Is that so?”
You nodded, as if you had just revealed some great secret of the universe. “Yes. Yes, they’re done with the whole tree business. They’re like, ‘Nope. I’m out of here.’ And then—” You made a dramatic hand gesture that sent some of the wine from your glass sloshing onto the grass. “—they just drop, you know? Just…they’re free.”
Laughing, Fingon set his glass aside as he leaned back on his hands, watching you with clear amusement. “I had no idea you were such an expert on leaves.”
“Well, now you do,” you said, leaning forward as if to share something even more important. “And, and the pumpkins…do you know why we carve them?”
“I’m almost afraid to ask,” he said, trying to hold back another laugh.
“It’s to scare away the spirits of all the pies we didn’t make last year,” you said with utmost seriousness. “They’re vengeful. That’s why they’re orange. It’s the colour of rage.”
At this point, Fingon was openly laughing with his head thrown back, the sound rich and warm in the crisp night air. You, however, were utterly lost in your own world of autumnal conspiracy. “And the hay bales! Oh, don’t even get me started on those. They’re…they’re a trap for the woodland creatures. But they’re too clever. They know. That’s why you never see any animals near hay bales. Only humans fall for that trick.”
With all your enthusiasm for conspiracies, Fingon had shifted closer to you, his gaze soft but still amused as he took in your increasingly incoherent ramblings. “You’re quite the scholar tonight, aren’t you?” he teased affectionately.
“Of course,” you said, finishing off your glass of wine with a flourish. “I know all the secrets of autumn.”
The wine had hit you hard by this point, your thoughts growing more tangled with every passing moment. You tried to stand up, but your legs wobbled beneath you, and before you knew it, he was at your side, his hands gently guiding you back down to the blanket. “Easy now,” he murmured, his laughter still lingering on his lips. “I don’t think you’re in any state to be walking around.”
You pouted and rested your head against his shoulder as your body felt heavy and warm. “But I wanted to dance with the ghosts,” you muttered, your words slurring together.
Fingon raised an eyebrow. “Dance with the ghosts?”
“They’re here. Watching us. Waiting…” You waved your hand dramatically at the trees, your voice taking on a ghostly tone. “Ooooooooh, they want to join our fun.”
Wrapping an arm around your shoulders to steady you, he chuckled at your statement. “I think you’ve had enough wine for tonight.”
You frowned. “But what about the spirits? You can’t just ignore them, Finno. That’s how they get you.”
“I’ll make sure to keep an eye out for them,” he promised as humour danced in his eyes. “No spirits are getting to you while I’m around.”
As if weighing the sincerity of his words, you squinted up at him. After a moment, you seemed satisfied and leaned further into him with a contented sigh. “Good. Because I’d hate to be taken by a ghost during the best part of autumn.”
Fingon smiled down at you, brushing a stray lock of hair away from your face. “Of course. I wouldn’t let that happen.” Watching as you settled back onto the grass, your thoughts drifting along with the gentle flow of the brook. The night was growing cooler now, but the warmth of the flask still lingered in your veins, keeping you comfortable as you continued to mumble incoherently about leaves, stars, and whatever else your mind latched onto.
Fingon shifted slightly, pulling his cloak around himself as he kept an eye on you, making sure you didn’t attempt any more dangerous feats. He had grown accustomed to your antics over the years, and while he knew he’d likely have to deal with the aftermath of your intoxicated state in the morning, for now, he was content to enjoy the absurdity of it all.
“You know what else is spooky?” you muttered with your eyes half closed as you lay on the grass, your voice a little more sluggish now as the effects of the alcohol weighed down your limbs.
“What else is spooky?” Fingon asked, clearly humouring you as he shifted to sit more comfortably against the tree, his gaze still trained on you with a mix of amusement and fondness.
“The moon,” you mumbled, as if you had just revealed some great cosmic secret. “It’s always watching. But not like…the stars. The stars are nice. The moon is…suspicious.”
“Suspicious, you say? And why is that?” he chocked as he attempted to bit back a laugh bubbling in his throat.
You struggled to sit up again, your movements clumsy and uncoordinated as you pointed a wobbly finger at the sky. “It just hangs there, all big and bright, but it never says anything. Always just…lurking.”
“Lurking,” he repeated, nodding solemnly, though his lips were twitching with barely concealed laughter. “I see.”
You waved your arms dramatically, nearly losing your balance as you did so. “Exactly! One day…one day it’s going to do something. I’m telling you. We need to keep an eye on it.”
Before you could topple over completely, he reached out to steady gently. “I’ll be sure to keep watch,” he said, his voice gentle and amused.
Satisfied that he had taken your warning seriously, you gave a drunken grin. “Good. Someone has to. You never know when the moon might make its move.”
With a soft sigh, you finally allowed yourself to flop back onto the grass, your body sinking into the cool earth as the last remnants of daylight faded away, leaving the sky a deep, velvety blue. Fingon watched you for a moment, the smile still playing on his lips as he pulled his cloak tighter around himself to ward off the growing chill.
Despite your increasingly ridiculous ramblings, there was something endearing about seeing you so carefree, so lost in your own drunken thoughts. He rarely saw you this unguarded, and though you’d surely regret the amount of alcohol you’d consumed come morning, for now, he was content to enjoy the peaceful, if slightly absurd, moment.
You turned your head to look at him again, blinking slowly as if it took a great effort to focus. “You’re my favourite person, you know that?” you slurred, a lazy grin spreading across your face. “Always looking out for me…and listening to my nonsense.”
Fingon chuckled softly, shaking his head. “I wouldn’t say it’s nonsense. It’s certainly…creative.”
“I’m a genius,” you declared, raising a finger as if to emphasise your point. “A visionary. No one understands the moon like I do.”
Fingon raised an eyebrow, smiling. “A visionary, are you? Perhaps you should write a treatise on the subject.”
You gasped, as if the idea had never occurred to you before. “Yes! I’ll write a book. ‘The Suspicious Moon and Other Spooky Things.’ It’ll be a bestseller.”
“I have no doubt it will be,” Fingon said with a grin, unable to suppress the warmth that bubbled up in his chest at the sight of you, so thoroughly convinced of your own brilliance in this inebriated state.
The night deepened around you both, the woods growing quieter as the last of the birds settled for sleep, and the soft rustle of leaves in the breeze was the only sound that accompanied the gentle trickle of the brook. Fingon leaned his head back against the tree, his gaze fixed on the sky where the stars now sparkled in full force, the moon casting a silvery glow over the landscape.
Beside him, you had fallen into a more subdued state, your drunken ramblings slowing as your body grew heavier with exhaustion. Fingon could tell you were nearing the point of falling asleep where you lay, and as much as he enjoyed the peacefulness of the evening, he knew it wouldn’t be wise to let you sleep out here in the open.
“You know,” he said after a moment, his voice low but gentle, “it might be time to head back. The moon may be suspicious, but it’s getting cold.”
You groaned in response, rolling over onto your stomach with a grumble. “Don’t wanna move.”
Fingon sighed softly, though his tone remained patient. “If you stay out here, you’ll be regretting it in the morning even more than you already will.”
With a great deal of effort, you pushed yourself halfway up, your head spinning as you tried to find your balance. Fingon was quick to help, wrapping an arm around your waist to steady you as you swayed on your feet. As much as he knew you’d be feeling the effects of your little adventure in the morning, for now, there was a quiet contentment that settled over him, a rare sense of peace that came from knowing you were both safe, happy, and—for the moment at least—free from the worries of the world.
“Let’s get you home,” he murmured softly, his voice barely audible over the rustle of the trees. The night air was cool, but not unpleasant, and as the two of you walked together beneath the watchful gaze of the “suspicious” moon, Fingon couldn’t help but smile.
Despite the silliness of the evening, despite your nonsensical ramblings about leaf spirits and conspiratorial celestial bodies, there was something undeniably perfect about the moment. It was a brief respite from the weight of responsibility, a chance to simply enjoy each other’s company without the pressures of duty or the looming shadow of the future.
And for Fingon, that was more than enough.

Transcript of Edvin's radio interview
This is nowhere near perfect and not a word by word translation. BUt it took me over 2 hours so...
You owe me hahaha
Some discussions of season 3 and minor spoilers but nothing huge.
I: Edvin Ryding, it will soon be time for the third season of Young Royals, that's why we are here to talk about that among other things. I just have to start off- you arrive here blonde and with what looks like a racing jacket in orange, red, beige, lots of colours.
E: Yes, I like it, I bought it this weekend when I was in Paris and walked past a Second-Hand Store where I found it and thought it was cool. There’s something a bit cool with stark colours and logos and with the blond hair. I’m at a phase where I need to experiment a bit I think.
I: Yeah, because as Wilhelm in young royals you don’t, Wilhelm doesn’t want to stand out.
E: In particular it’s the way he’s been raised. He is told what to wear and how to style his hair, how long his hair is allowed to be. You should look the part so to speak. Not standing out from the norms which is what the royal family wants to portray.
I: In season 3 he says “I’m not allowed to cut my hair shorter”
E: Exactly, he’s trapped in those norms. I remember when I tried to map Wilhelm down before season 1 I wrote down some of his interests and dreams. As soon as I did it I thought it was beautiful that he had these dreams, thoughts and interests but then I realised that he won’t be allowed to realise them, they will always remain vague interests. I’ve always thought of him as into fashion that’s into style but he’s stuck in history, traditions and expectation which is prominent in his whole life. In many ways, that’s what the series is about. That's the reason why he’s not allowed to cut his his hair shorter.
I: Could you say he lives out through his love?
E: Yeah, that's where he actually can’t resist anymore. These traditions and expectations have kept him from realising who he wants to be but when moves to Hillerska he meets Simon and realises this is a person I can be myself with, a person I’m in love with, oh wow I’m in love with him. And that becomes a catalyst for other parts of his life where he wants to be free and test his wings.
I: And Simon can dress the way he wants and be more free.
E: Exactly, he comes from a background where he’s allowed to be who he is with his family but when he comes to Hillerska with all those traditions he is also influenced by that and now in season three they have chosen each other and are a couple officially after the speech in season two. ANd that changes Simon's life too. He’s suddenly in the spotlight for the first time and is faced with new dilemmas with how he wants to handle things
I: In preparation for season 1 you said you went through Wilhelm’s dreams, who it was and his limitations, the expectations on him and the rules he has to obey. What did this map look like? What was the big dream?
E: The big dream was for him to have room to breathe and be free. I remember that Rojda Sekezöz who was conceptual director for season 1 and 2 asked us to write a diary entry from the first week of Hillerska and I wrote that Wilhelm dreams of having a good relationship with his family and his mum, for her to be only his mum. He dreams of being allowed to let loose. When we first meet him in season 1 he is kindof a party prince and that’s a way for him I believe to express the frustrations inside him that he has carried in all seasons but now in season 3 he actually lives out- He dreams of being free meets SImon and realise it’s possible.
I: What about you Edvin? As an actor, have you changed in these seasons? It’s years of your life, You are young with alot going on but alot of things must have changed for you as an actor too?
E: Yeah, you are right, it’s been a very live changing experience with the reach of the series and the fact that we got to make 3 seasons, alot of things have happened in my life. You are trying to find your identity and you you are. I’m very thankful for these 3 years with this show and these people. I’ve learned more than I could ever dream of from directors and all the actors. It’s been a privilege to be around what I believe is Sweden’s future in this industry. There are so many young and ambitious people. We have been free and learned so much from each other and also become very close. That’s what I will miss the most I think.
I: Because this is the last season.
E: Yeah it is the last season.
I: Can you tell that you have developed as an actor. I think you can tell that you’ve gotten to know the environments, both as an actor and as the character. You are confident in some situations but also have pressure and expectations in others. Can you look at yourself from season 1 and then now in season 3 and think, “wow I’ve developed alot”
E: Yeah, I would say that. I look back at scenes from season 1 and think “wow I’m so young” and how clueless I was. I thought I had everything under control but I’ve learned so much up until now. It was the first time I was the lead role. For a very big project and I was very nervous but Rojda was very caring and safe so she guided me. She’s not a a part of the final season but I feel like when I started working with new director that I felt alot more confident and trusted myself more. And that will get you very far as an actor.
I: And you are meant to develop. It’s been three years. You are new at the school in the first season. Maybe it works out very well that you as an actor develop as the series does.
E: Yeah, we’ve been shooting it for three years but the story itself takes place during one school year. But I’ve also realised that what these characters are going through in a school year is what most people experience in 3. SO it works our very well.
I: This show has had exceptional reception. Netflix is talking about a worldwide success. You’ve already talked about this alot but how has it been for you recently? Howfrquently are fans in touch and how does it affect you?
E: It affects me alot. In a good way. It becomes quite abstract and it’s hard to grasp it when you are on social media and sees a number. It’s hard to realise that these are real people. BUt then we’ve had opportunities where we got to meet people. When we were at Kimmy Fallon we met people and Omar had his own show with a big audience from across the world that we got to meet. Just now in Paris we met people. When you get to meet these people and they tell you what the series have meant for them and that they have met people across the world thanks to the series it feels powerful. I’m doing this because I want to move people with this artform. And with this project we’ve managed to do that. It’s huge.
I: This will be with you your whole life, it’s a milestone.
E: Definitely!
I: BUt you were in Paris to talk about the show?
E: No, I was in Paris for Fashion Week. There’s alot of love on social media, of course unpleasant people too and I have periods in my life where I can handle it better and periods where I’m not as good and when people around me get affected it’s harder for me to handle but I’ve kept away from social media for a bit. Now that I went to Paris it was because i wanted to and I didn’t share it on social media but people found me there anyway and wanted to talk. It was beautiful
I: And the future? Do you get people contacting you from other countries asking you to be part of things?
E: If only it was that simple!
I: Not really, I’ve signed with an American agency in autumn 2021 and I’ve worked with them for a while now. That work continues and I talk about projects abroad continuously and they will come. I’m trying to not stress it.
I: Sounds smart.
E: I think so. To think sustainable. At the same time, the industry is very global and you can reach an international audience with stories from Sweden. It doesn’t hurt to do projects here that I want to do. At the end of the day it’s about the story, and portraying characters. It doesn’t matter where. It’s about working with talented people.
I: Are you rich now?
E: Yeah, I’m doing well money wise. Maths was never my subject so I struggle to be on top of that myself.
I: But with the third season, were there opportunities to negotiate?
E: Eh...I’m pleased with my economy. But of course, since this has been so successful you are in a better position to negotiate. But ti’s not about money for me. It’s never a factor in me saying yes or no to a project.
I: We talked a bit about the US and reaching out with a story. But when it comes to acting, how do you improve apart from working on things, you’ve worked alot, the abyss among others. BY the way do you remember your first project on Svt? Mannen under trappan? 3x1 hours you told me. Do you remember? How old were you?
E: I was five, I do remember parts of it. It was my parents that pitched me and handled everything. THey have always supported me in all my decisions. If I didn’t like it I didn’t have to do it. It’s supposed to be fun and feel right. I’m thankful for that and it carry it with me. Even if it was a dark story, it was a thriller, and Jonas Karlsson had schizophrenia, his character. I remember it s fun. There was a trampoline and we got candy when we worked at night. We played. We had a fantastic director that unfortunately is no longer with us, Daniel LInd Lagerlöf. He was great with us kids, it was me and Johanna Hintze that played the kids. I remember it as a fun experience.
I: It made you want to do more?
E: Yeah, evidently.
I: About improving, and your tools as an actor, do you work on that? BY working?
E: In a way you do...in recent years I’ve started to spend more time with the people I call the future of the industry. Actors from Royals...other co workers. I surround myself with people that are driven and ambitious and want to improve. It's a good thing because it makes me want to improve as well. You have drinks night and improvise scenes, it comes back to that naturally because everyone is so ambitious, You get inspiration right from the street. That woman for instance, she’s talking in her phone and she has 100 things going on in her life, she’s getting inside the car... things like that you pick up. You pick them up when you improvise and then you bring it along to set. It’s a craft which I love and die for. It’s amazing and you get obsessed with it.
I: So Friday night, you and your friends, drinks and improvisation.
E: Totally. You let loose. The people I surround myself are very driven and want to write their own things. Felicia Maxime comes to mind, we’ve done Young Royals, Avgrunden and A part of you together. Amazing actress, and also a script writer and director and very driven. She pushes me to let loose and improvise things. We can have coffee or drinks and brainstorm ideas and we can spend an hour in character and it’s wonderful.
I: Do you write anything?
E: I’ve gotten closer to that in recent ideas and have had ideas in my head that I write down. I recent year I’ve concretised them and written them down. It’s alot of fun but very hard. Then it’s good to have people around you that are experienced who I can learn from. I’m a person that puts alot of expectation on myself and can struggle to admit that I don’t know as much as the people around me and it’s been a process to get to a place where I can trust that I just need to learn more.
I: To be vulnerable?
E: Definitely. I feel like I’ve learned alot about that and that I can be vulnerable in private but in my working life it’s hard. It’s an industry with alot of expectation and pressure and you need to get picked. It’s not surprising that you try to be tough. But you get far by being vulnerable because it allows you to learn new things.
I: You have alot of fans. People write about you and Omar, it’s intense, you’ve shot alot and you've been in other things as well. Is it hard to separate the private person Edvin and the actor Edvin?
E: Yeah I’ve struggled with that. I think it’s because in season 1 alot of things happened and quite intensively and I had to create a character and as soon as Young Royals is brought up that character starts working. It was thar character that answered questions and used social media, all that. And they kinda merged which hit me just recently. It’s been hard to separate. It’s not surprising that you have these different persons. You have your business self and your social self but it’s important to separate for your ow mental health and I work on being able to do that.
I: Do you have a bit to go to get there?
E: Yeah I think so and that’s okay. I will be in different situations, that’s what I work with, to be different characters and I do with with alot investment. You give it your all and dives deeply. It will take a while but I need to accept that.
I: So it’s the interview person here today. Not the private person Edvin?
E: I think you’ve gotten a bit of a mix; I feel like. I’ve been quite open with some of my issues. Congrats.
I: I have to say I got a bit surprise, seeing you in that Jacket from Paris, the blond hair and the trousers, it feels like you’ve toughened up.
E. Maybe I have.That’s interesting... maybe I have.
I: It’s only based in the image I have of you. I’ve met you once or so before.
E: I’m in a period of my life where I... I’ve also grown up on set and it made me grow up faster than many other people my age and now I’m in a period of my life where I experiment and I’m the same vulnerable person on the inside and I’m very adamant about being open about my feelings and I think it's very important but I experiment more when it comes to the looks.
They rambled about the weather at the end but I didn't include it.

Dance with me
Sanji x gardener!reader
Gn reader + fluff drabble based on this post by @misslovasstuff 🫶🏻
The orange light that hangs from the kitchen roof contrast with the dark skies and shinny stars all across it, the sea is calm, almost trying to lull everyone on the ship to close their eyes. No danger awaits the crew as they sleep soundly
Well almost everyone
Every night after dinner, Sanji stays to clean up and maybe do some breakfast prep or some quick snacks to toss Luffy tomorrow day
You sit content on the table, feet hanging as they move at the rhythm of the music from the den den radio, humming along completely lost on its melody as you make your dear chef some company
Sanji can’t help but smile to himself, this rare uneventful night that gifts him this moment that feels so domestic and just so right. He steals you a glance, your humming turning into a quiet singing, every note swiping him off his feet
He wipes his hands on a towel before he approaches you, his eyes never leaving your sight. When he comes across your line of vision you smile brightly at him, melting him into a puddle in front of you. He turns the volume of the den den radio up, an offering hand extended your way as he does a little reverence making you giggle at his well known antics
“Would you please be so kind as to gift me this dance, my love?” He says peeking at your expression, expectant
Without hesitation you take his hand and stand up with him, your hands growing fresh flowers at his touch
“I should warn you, I am not a dancer” a slight pink sits on your cheeks, a little nervous to follow along
But Sanji doesn’t listen, one of his hands travel to your waist while the other extends your arm to the side, naturally making your free hand to sit on top of his toned shoulders, the so familiar feeling of the fabric of his tailored shirt settling your nerves
“Just follow me”
Carefully he sways your bodies to the rhythm of the song playing, eyes locked into each other like a bounding spell. The kitchen floor creeks with every step you take, but it doesn’t bother you
The intimacy of it all makes you feel like you’re suspended on air, light as a feather as you move around completely lost on the moment. Maybe the lighting is a little off, maybe you’re both very sleep deprived and exhausted from a long hardworking day, but Sanji looks so happy, so beautiful, so unreal
Ocean eyes looking back with so much tenderness; his hands delicately gripping on your form, as if making sure you’re real, that you’re there with him; his blonde hair moves along with his steps revealing his handsome face; the so comforting smell of smoke and fresh fruit and his sweet smile
You could have this forever
He makes you turn which earns a laugh out of you, and in that moment Sanji feels like the luckiest man on the seas, your laugh even more beautiful of a melody than the music on the background
“And you said you weren’t a dancer” he whispers playfully, his breath hitting your neck
“I guess I just needed a prince to come and show me how to really do it” he immediately blushes, stumbling as your voice calling him a prince echoes in his head over and over again
In a swift move to the right, you remove your hand from his as you make petals fall from your hands all around you. You circle back to Sanji as he remains perplexed at your action, he keeps dancing but his mind is full with you you and you
The song ends and you stay entangled in the middle of the kitchen, smiling back at each other completely lovesick
“I love you” he whispers out of breath, your hands leaving to reach for his face, your lips find his like they always do and you kiss effervescently, like a dream you don’t want to wake up from
“If life by your side is like this, I want it to be forever you”

Did you notice that malleus & silver mirror eachother? If you remove his fae features And his mullet, malleus becomes a reverse silver (bang direction, hair color, even their eye color is the opposite too!!). They also have a sprite that sway on opposite direction (malleus to the left and silver to the right, I think). Is it Just a coincidence Or is there deeper meaning to this??
I don't think their designs are intentionally meant to be mirroring each other; the features mentioned aren't exactly "mirrors" to begin with, especially if you have to remove many of Malleus's prominent features for the "mirrored" features to come to light. If you look carefully, Malleus's bangs actually run in both directions, not just one. Additionally, his eye color and Silver's are not opposites; Malleus has green eyes and Silver has blue-ish eyes. On a color wheel, the opposite of green is red and the opposite of blue is orange. The hair color Silver has also isn't natural but is the result of a fairy prayer—if his hair were still blonde (ie natural), the "mirrored" design to Malleus is no longer opposite. There are many more obvious and purposeful mirror imagery between Silver and Sebek, especially if you look at the composition of promotional artwork and even at in-game card art. (You can read more about that here!) The more overt difference between them, of course, is that their personalities are opposites. Their methods of resolving conflicts are opposites too, with Sebek preferring direct confrontation whereas Silver is the peacemaker willing to hear others out.
Where I think the true parallels lie between Malleus and Silver are in their backgrounds and character. Silver is a human prince to the side the knight that felled the crown princess to the Land of Briar, and Malleus is the fae prince and heir to the Land of Briar; they essentially represent two sides of a conflict larger than either of them. Their UMs are opposites as well, with Malleus's putting others to sleep and Silver's letting him walk among dreams. Silver is literally made to stand in opposition to, and counteract, Malleus. Additionally, Lilia serves as a father to both of them and seeks to guide the boys to a future of peace, not war. In this way, Malleus and Silver's fates are undeniably linked together.
The two are also mirrored in how they react to Lilia's announcement of departure. Malleus is unable to accept it and actively tries to keep Lilia with him, whereas Silver, who is also emotionally distraught at the idea of his father dying alone in a foreign land, still allows Lilia to leave. Even in the world of his father's dream, Silver is fighting to the bitter end to see Lilia off with a smile. (I go more into detail about this parallel in this post!)
To summarize: no, I don't think Malleus and Silver's designs are meant to mirror each other. However, they mirror each other in more significant ways that aren't necessarily seen in their visuals.

Remember when I said that I get distracted by inspiration? Oops have a BNHA FS AU. Don't take this too seriously. I'll have a few doodly comics to share later :) (images are text-heavy so descriptions below cut) (also I've only seen up to half of season 2 so) (I don't plan on doing more than some doodles for this AU)
Masterpost
Text descriptions below
First image: a lineup of the five Four Swords boys, visually altered and wearing those really fun blue-and-white UA PE uniforms. Listed from left to right. Shadow is a dark gray silhouette with fluffy hair and expressive, solid white eyes. He has red sneakers. Vio is taller, and has lavender skin with crystals growing out of one side of his head. The other side has hair-shaped crystal in a "braid" over his shoulder, and he's covered with hue-shifted facets and shinies. He has knee-high black boots. Green has blond hair, and is shorter than Shadow. He looks like a normal human and wears black and green athletic shoes. Blue is taller than Green, but not as tall as Vio. He has an undercut and a tiny ponytail on the back of his head, and is rather muscular-looking. He wears light blue sneakers. Red is the shortest, with red-blond hair and solid golden eyes. He is smiling brightly and wearing blue and orange athletic sneakers.
Second image: green background, explaining Green in this AU in doodles. "Link Takehiko (bamboo, prince/boy), Green. Quirk: lungs." There is a big doodle of Green holding a sword and shield and blowing very hard. "Green's lungs are super-strong, allowing him to create wind by blowing in or out. They have a larger-than-normal capacity, too." Arrow pointing to the sword: "isn't directly offensive, so he likes weaponry for melee." Doodle of him blowing at the ground and almost upside-down: "flying is awkward, but he can manage it." Doodle of him floating face-up in water: "can hold his breath for an absurd amount of time; also floats well if he has enough air." Doodle of him blowing and someone losing their balance: "can indeed blow socks off." Doodle of him holding his breath with a strained expression: "sucking air in doesn't have as many applications, he does get hit in the face by stuff." "(Lots of three little pigs jokes)." Doodle of him with a tissue box and a medical mask flying away from his face: "sneezing is bad news."
Third image: blue background, explaining Blue in this AU in doodles. "Link Mizutani (water, valley): Blue. Quirk: waterskin." Bigger doodle of Blue running to one side, holding up his arm, which has been coated in a layer of water and deflected a broken rock. His feet also have water around them. "Blue can cover his body in a thick layer of water, which he can use to augment his natural physical ability." Arrow to his arm: "defend against ranged attacks! (Probably not bullets though)." Arrow to his feet: "absorbs some shock from impacts." That has a second arrow pointing to a smaller doodle or Blue falling, with water cushioning his fall. Doodle of him holding up both arms in front of his face, with a water shield barely covering his upper half: "can't extend too far." Doodle of him drinking from a big water bottle: "water comes from his own body. So ALWAYS drinking more." And "particular about his water bottles & filtering."
Fourth image: red background, explaining Red in this AU in doodles. "Link Hidaka (day/sun, tall/close to/a lot): Red. Quirk: fireheart." Big doodle of Red smiling and holding his hands out. His eyes have no irises or pupils but are shiny, and he's radiating dark red lines. "Red's body temperature ranges from normal human to hot enough to bend steel. The stronger his emotions, the hotter his skin." Arrow pointing to the big drawing: "very aware of how dangerous his anger or happiness can be, so tries to avoid them." And "good emotional intelligence, and is expressive despite it all." Doodle of him sitting cross-legged with his eyes closed, letting off steam: "safest state is calm & content, so he has developed many strategies to remain so." Doodle of him frowning and holding out an arm, dressed in a marked-up and smoking shirt: "lots of burned clothing & immolated pencils." Doodle of him scowling and walking dramatically through something turning to liquid, with lots of red lines aroind him: "verrry dangerous when he wants to be." Doodle of him staring at a tub of ice cream with very wide, very shiny eyes: "greatest ambition: to stay calm while eating ice cream so it doesn't melt (he gets too excited.)
Fifth image: purple background, explaining Vio in this AU in doodles. "Link Murasaki (purple—not a real name XD): Vio. Quirk: quartz." Big doodle of Vio down on one knee, one arm extended in front of him. There are crystals growing from his elbow, and a few more near his wrist, which has formed into a kind of slingshot. There are also crystals extending below his boots. "Vio is made of hardened quartz rock. He can control his crystals' growth, and uses that to reshape himself and make projectiles." Arrow pointing to his head: "prefers a human appearance, but could switch it up if he wanted to (hair is fake)." Arrow pointing to his slingshot: "slingshot! For range. Has to use elastic but quite good with it." Arrow pointing to the crystals on his elbow: "projectiles." Arrow pointing to his feet: "has a lot of tricks, like this for stability—but can't always control the shape." Doodle of three hands with three different sized crystals in them, labeled "3 seconds," "10 seconds," and "30 seconds": "slow ish, proportional." Doodle of him focusing on a big growth of crystals with one hand snapped off: "totally fine breaking off pieces of himself" and "grows kinda slowly, big formations take time & can be brittle" and "cannot reshape, only grow more." Doodle of him in three different sizes, big with clothes ripped, middle, and small with clothes baggy: "max & min sizes, not too changeable (makes himself taller than Blue to annoy him.)" Doodle of him looking annoyed with crossed arms and bubbles around his head: "too heavy to swim, but also doesn't breathe so..."
Sixth image: dark blue background, explaining Shadow in this AU in doodles. "Link Mochizuki (wish, moon, full moon): Shadow. Quirk: smoke." Big doodle of Shadow looking happy, with his hands entirely faded out into a cloud of smoke behind him. He is just a silhouette with expressive white eyes. "Shadow is 20% physical and 80% gaseous. His smoke is supernaturally dark and viscous, and he can manipulate objects inside." Arrow pointing to his clothes: "wears clothes for fun and also because rules." Doodle of him seeping through the cracks around the door, happy eyes: "very mobile." Doodle of him sitting on the ground, his arm extended and turned to smoke around a tray of lunch: "a sort of telekinesis." Doodle of him holding his hand out and dripping, sad eyes: "dissolves in water." Doodle of a cloud of smoke with his angry eyes in the middle: "true form, doesn't quite expand to fill the room. Reverts when asleep." Doodle of a little ball with angry eyes and surrounded with some smoke: "condensed form: he is Gastly." Doodle of him with his top half separated from his bottom by a bunch of smoke, while a projectile passes through, smug eyes: "hard to hit (when he knows you're there.)"

This took me forever, but I am so happy to finally have the whole family in one picture! Click for better quality. For those interested, background on the family and more as really long ramble below!
Background of the family is Aramid is a Rageon who was gifted a troll when she was younger. Bergens would sell trolls to other large species, like Rageons, but each treats them as a source of happiness differently. For Rageons, who are very material, they are live in entertainment/living decorations.
Aramid is a bit odd though, seeing her troll, Coir, as a friend, who, being like 16 years older than her, basically becomes her guardian because her dad is never around and her mom is out of the picture. They spend years getting better treatment and personhood for trolls, which is successful and the whole reason Velvet and Veneer even can have trolls napping and troll torture as charges against them. After said incident though, Coir decides to spend sometime back among trolls, having thought the pop trolls were essentially wipes out besides the ones who were also sold like him when young.
He meets Persi (pronounced like Percy and short for Persimmon) while on a tour of pop village, Persi being a putt-putt troll from the Hole-n-Fun. They hit off and eventually have a few kids, who love their giant sister. Especially because said sister is one of the most famous fashion designers in Mount Rageous and is always sending them some of the best outfits she can for dress up and special events, as well comfy and cute ones for the day to day. Enough about the family though, here are some of my favorite parts of this family portrait
The daddy-daughter shots of this piece are everything to me. On the left is Persi with their middle daughter Sisal. Sisal’s favorite animal at the moment is monarch butterflies, because the orange makes her think of Persi and butterflies are just neat.
On the right is Coir with the youngest daughter, Clementine. She’s the shyest and always at Coir’s side. She loves dress up the most and is the one who suggested some kind of princesses and prince outfits for he pictures.
Last of the kiddos is Kevlar! He is the youngest (by half an hour, he and Clementine are technically twins) and only boy. He’s the wild child and always keeps his dads’ on their toes. He is the only one so far who has figured out how to roll up in a ball like the putt-putts can. The pearls in his hair were from an accessory for someone else that he broke. The pearls were because of him too. Sisal asked for butterflies and flowers, Clementine asked for crowns and royalty, Kevlar asked for…. Ocean. He was okay with pearls as the compromise item. He also jumped off Aramid’s shoulder the moment this picture was taken. He was fine.
I lastly just wanted to show Aramid’s necklace and the details of her dress. She and Coir always have matching gold necklaces (usually with their initials/names, but sometimes they switch us up). She gifted Persi different gold chain accessories to match theirs but also to match his style more and will eventually gift her siblings something to their styles when they’re older. I also just wanted to show the flowers and strands of pearls because they were fun to make and finding that brush was a life saver.
I will definitely be making a family picture with just the trolls so I can add even more details to their outfits! If anyone read this whole thing, I apologize for my ramblings, but appreciate you taking the time to do so. Would love to hear and thoughts or answer any questions! Take care!

The sequel to Chicken Run comes out tomorrow, so this comic was made to commemorate that! And the idea of Baba Yaga's hut having an AI and a PA system was too funny for me to pass up. Raven's face could be a meme, it looks kinda like a chicken in this shot with that hairdo. And I missed this in the episode, but Maddie actually clapped for the hut while it rampaged! Gotta love a chaos gremlin.

Finally finished @loganisanobody ‘s late Christmas gift this year! I’ve never really done an art trade like this so it was a lot of fun!
Enjoy a Nutcracker au of Janus, Logan, Roman, and Virgil from Sanders Sides!
Wanted to give them a little bit of a background but here’s them without it too - (total time: ~ 22 hrs)
Separate pictures and details on their designs in the readmore below
Logan - Rat King
Outline Color: Blue
Costume Details: Tie, Orange eyes, Mask to replace his glasses, blue accents are meant to look a little like neurons
Janus - Uncle
Outline Color: Green
Costume Details: Bowler hat & gloves, Snake cape
(I actually drew him facing the other direction first and then realized you wouldn’t be able to see his scales haha)
Roman - Nutcracker Prince
Outline Color: Red
Costume Details: Prince outfit & ballet tights
(He fits right in! Barely had to make any outfit changes)
Virgil - Clara
Outline Color: Purple
Costume Details: Vest & cape instead of the usual dress, logo & hoodie design on his cape, purple eye makeup & hair
This au idea & costume designs were partially inspired by @luxmoogle ‘s kingdom hearts nutcracker au (go and look at their art, it’s beautiful) and bc I saw the Nutcracker ballet in person right after we decided on characters for each other.
Thanks @tharkflark1 for some help on their anatomy.
I’ll add on some of the references in another post!

Ok mutuals, here is what's probably going to be my introduction for my AU about James Francis Edward (I haven't got a title for it yet). I ended up just writing this for my Creative Writing class and I think it's okayish hopefully:
"By the grace of Almighty God, the Queen has delivered of a son."
He had been told this was his introduction to the world. His introduction to his birthright and his introduction to the people that would get rid of him and his family.
James Francis Edward knew by heart what happened next, which made his heart break. Soon after his birth, the signal was raised for the Prince of Orange to invade England and depose them. And as soon as that happened, the the people of England, the very people who were meant to rejoice for the newborn Prince had immediately said he was not real. Smuggled in. Through a warming pan of all things.
Maria Beatrice, his mother had been ordered to flee with him by the King. They were banished not long after to Italy, Maria's home country, settling in at the Monastery of Sant'Antonio in Polesine. They were here because they were not allowed to be seen as royal and anyways Maria had planned to become a nun before she was betrothed to the King of England.
The nuns at the Monastery of Sant'Antonio had immediately taken them in as their own, watching the little boy grow up with eagerness. Little Jamie had been raised with a strong faith in God, a well needed relationship. He was now kneeling at the crucifix, praying quietly, murmuring under his breath: "Holy Father, help me, help us all. Help me get my father's throne back, please. I hate what I have caused. Amen." Unable to hear what he was saying, in the background, Maria and two other nuns slipped away into another room. "Your child is so devout, Sister Maria. He prays all of the time."
"I know" came the reply. "Poor little thing. I will wait on him."
She watched her little boy pray for the time being, noting the resemblance between him and his late father - a victim of the axe. Jamie had his stately figure and was rapidly approaching his namesake in height with a big curly wig that definitely showed the resemblance when worn.
Finally, Jamie finished praying, startling as soon as he turned around to notice his mother sitting there, silently gazing at him but immediately recovered and lowered his head into a bow. "Mother" The name came out awkward and unsure of himself and he didn't like that at all. "Mother I haven't kept you waiting have I?" He was now beginning to panic.
How long had she been sitting there?
"Jamie, dear Jamie, don't be silly, of course you haven't kept me. You must always say your prayers daily." The boy immediately walked over to his mother who instantly took his hand into hers - but not after hugging him close to her chest and stroking his hair.
"You are becoming such a handsome young man, my darling" she whispered into his ear. There was a hint of melancholy in her voice and he knew what it was about.
His mother loved him very much, the poor thing. After numerous miscarriages or children not surviving infancy, she had no doubt been overjoyed to be delivered a son. Her husband, James II of England had no doubt been grateful for his heir to come at last. Yet the child didn't feel the same way at all.
I mean, what do you expect, when your very birth caused your family to lose everything?
@unanchored-ship, @defensivelee and @acrossthewavesoftime ask and you shall receive at long last.

Revolutionary Girl Jerafina- J'veux ton amour, et je veux ta revanche
Day 8 of @smileformeweek - Free Day
[ ID: Traditionally done art that's colored and edited digitally. It involves the ship of Lulia Fame and Jerafina Tabouli from Smile For Me the game. It is of my AU Roseverse, and a crossover with Revolutionary Girl Utena the anime.
In my interpretation, both Lulia and Jerafina are fat. Jerafina is also a mer-woman, or a siren. I have used a stylised pallete departing from their canon colors. Jerafina is mostly in purples, pinks, orange and yellow with blue and red for her eyes. Lulia is mostly in browns, greens, yellow, red, pink.
It is a parrtial screenshot redraw from Revolutionary Girl Utena. Jerafina is in Utenas position, wearing her outfit and standing up, holding Lulias arm with one clawed hand. Tears drop down her face, which has a sorrowful expression, looking up. Her hair looks like jellyfish tentacles. Some of her sharp fangs jut out. Lulia is in Anthys position, the light glowing in her hand towards Jerafinas chest, where her hand is placed. Dark mascara runs down Lulias eyes and she hangs her head. Her Rose Bride dress flies around her to reveal her high-heeled legs folded back, floating. Her legs have stretch marks.
The background is sharp and dark, in hues of blue. Yellow rays emanate from Jerafina and Lulia. Some glitters surround them. They appear to be slightly glowing. End ID]
//
Redraw of this:
[ ID: Screencap from Revolutionary Girl Utena the anime showing roughly the same pose as the above drawing. However Utena and Anthys eyes are closed and they have a serene expression. End ID]
I thought, my version of Jerafina could be Utena because I've always liked a more masculine Jerafina...as well as, she's a fairytale creature, a Siren--- and Utena desires to be a kind of fairytale prince.
As for Lulia being Anthy, well, she's dramatic ASF, she would definitely have a Ton of mysterious stuff going on with her. I think even her being a witch fits. I do think Lulia is much more outwardly expressive than Anthy though.
Anyway, dramatic sapphics!!!!❤️🩷❤️🩷 sorry it's late!

Eah backgrounder headcanons
Orange haired girl
Penelope Pea
She attends muse-ic class and she is very friendly with lots of backgrounders, mainly the girls. The wiki says she voted for Maddie in the election but I went back and watched and she only appears once in the hallway talking with her friends while Maddie is campaigning. I don’t think that proves that she voted for Maddie. She also, of course, is one of the background girls who constantly fawns over Daring. She’s actually so pretty.
She’s often seen with grey hair girl so much.
She can also often be spotted with background pink and purple hair girl
The three of them are a trio and in basically every hallway scene you can see them chatting in the background (I’m taking it as they’re besties and not just reused animation)
She is also seen with princess wearing blue and white, although not as often
Other people she’s hung out with:
My headcannons for her. None of these are really based on fact but they aren’t outlandish and they’re pretty likely.
She’s a Royal. Daughter of the princess and the pea. She has a transatlantic accent. Or at least a vaguely British accent. She doesn’t have perfect princess hair, she spends an hour each morning taming it since it’s naturally frizzy.
My headcannon is that she was originally supposed to be roommates with Duchess but since Apple switched rooms it set of a domino effect and she ended up getting roomed with blue and gold girl.
Her grey haired girl and pink & purple haired girl had been BFFA’s since their freshman year. Pink & purple haired girl is a rebel, grey haired girl is somewhere in the middle, but they don’t let conflicting views affect their friendship.
I think that her personality would be similar to most royals in personality, mainly to Holly. Speaking of Holly I think that Pen would definitely be reading Hollys fanfics.
She doesn’t know who her fairytale prince is but she knows that it probably isn’t a Charming. It’s most likely a second or third son.
But until then she has a little bit of romance
(This is canon) during true hearts day silver crown boy enters with blue and gold girl (the girl who I hc to be Penelopes roommate, she’s the one sprawled on the stairs in the sixth picture and on the end of Penelope and grey haired girl fawning over Daring) but during the dance Penelope and silver crown boy start hanging out and and the end of the night (the picture shown) they leave together. And then they are always shown together as a couple.
Silver crown boy (I might make a post on him later) is a rebel, he cheers for raven during legacy day and is seated on Maddies side for the election. I think they’re very cute… until they’re not
THATS RIGHT. FUCKING GREY HAIRED GIRL, HER BESTIE STOLE HER BF. Istg I was not expecting to find this kind of blatant drama. But she’s chatting him up during ‘Cupid makes things right… kinda’ and Penelope is no where to be seen. And then in that one really random Courtly redemption episode we see them at the theatre together. And then they’re cuddling during raven and dexters date. And you know what the worst part is?
Penelope is NEVER seen with grey haired girl again or silver brown boy again. And most of the times we see her after the breakup she’s all alone. Like all of her other friends took grey haired girls side.
This poor poor girl, I don’t know if I even want to make a post now for grey haired girl (I’m planning on doing as many as I can) like she just doesn’t deserve it.
In my perfect world she goes to Cupid for relationship troubles because yk her best friend stole her man and all her friends and Cupid consoled her and now (post canon) Penny ditched her old friends and is a part of the main characters.
Ps: I plan to make posts like this for all the background characters that I like/have hcs for. If anyone has any different hcs for orange haired girl please share. Or any other character. Or if you have a background character you want me to make a video on.
Pps: if you haven’t seen my earlier post I have a page in my notes app just full of everytime a backgrounder shows up so I can track the drama like that
Ppps: it’s not exactly in chronological order it’s like all the stuff on Netflix in order (or like mostly in order) and then all the webisodes even if they go in between so the whole love triangle might not be accurate.
Pppps (god I should have thought this through too many P’s): all the characters besides Penelope are being referred to by the name that the Royal/Rebel wiki has given them
