Somebody tell me if this is a bad take, or if my love for Bruce is causing my objective brain to glitch, but-- something about advertising Batman, a hero who's very popular for being good with children, for being NURTURING with children, a bad father kinda defeats the whole purpose of what he's supposed to represent.

Batman is a protector; He protects people the world (and especially law enforcement) does not care about. That's literally the point of him.

Something about marketing " you can be incredibly violent to people you care about! And Its fine, because you care about them even if you abuse them, and that's what matters!" towards people, but especially men and young boys, is REALLY fucked up to me.

It's actually so incredible to see the progression from my Geneva Island series all the way into seven chapters of the legacy, from the quality of screenshots to the characters involved in each sims personal story. I can't wait to continue into the new year, and looking back definitely makes me hyped and ready to move forward strong!

Hey you don't have to respond to this publicly I just wanted to talk after I saw your post. As a fellow creator I know how hard it is to create sometimes when it feels like there isn't a point. When engagement is at an all time low and there's things going on in your life it sucks. But your work is always going to be appreciated by someone. Your blog is a love letter to your characters but also a love letter to your craft and yourself. You have grown and shaped these characters into more than what they were originally. While you've shaped and evolved them you've evolved yourself. You've learned skills and mediums you never expected to and you're killing it! Yes sometimes creativity is frustrating and daunting but we can't forget how beautiful and personal it is as well. Your blog is one of my favorites just because I get to watch someone else "play dolls" with my favorite characters in a way I would never think to. And it gives them extra layers and meaning and facets. Just wanted to let you know that your work is inspiring and your drive is infectious. Good luck!

honestly? i accidentally became one. the whole reason @askthe-littlepoet is a thing, is because i was bored, was doing a bit where i parody myself, and felt a sudden wave of depressive numbness, verbalized it (because, at the time i was anonymous), and coffee (as narinder) called me(?) "a little poet"

if it's well written, i'll acknowledge the craftsmanship, and if it isn't, i'll understand that too, but it doesn't seem awful too harmful, doesn't it? isn't it just... making an oc version of yourself, and shipping it with a character?

i know it's semi-odd to hear "hey, the guy behind AM doesn't hate people!" but, well

i find some easier to, than others

it was brought to my attention recently that my works are being stolen yet again :D guys. do you think finding that our works are giving other people credit behind our backs makes us cheer and jump around in joy??? do YOU find joy in getting credit for other people’s creations and hard work??? because for those who do, wow, i applaud you thinking like that and living a life that YOU clearly are making for yourself 👏🏻 cheers to that 🥂 (please 💀)

boys and girls and everybody outside and in between, i’m speaking as someone who has gotten their work stolen over and over and over and over again and has had it happen to me again just now. experiencing this just reminds me how much seeing someone ELSE gain credit for something that’s mine and that i put so much love and hard work into makes me want to just quit posting all together, honestly. sorry if that sounds extreme and sudden. but truly, expressing my deep and honest feelings, i don’t want to keep posting if in the end my works will just be posted by others as their own. ESPECIALLY without giving credit. IT IS POSTED EVERYWHERE on every writer’s blog TO NOT PLAGIARIZE, COPY, STEAL, ETC ANYBODY’S WORK. and honestly, it doesn’t matter if you give credit when we never gave you permission in the first place. can you not just use your brain, use your common sense and think about how it would make us writers feel to create and share something that we poured so much love into, only to find someone else gaining credit for it? we work SO HARD to put out works for people to enjoy and we do it for FREE. and believe it or not, but that doesn’t give you permission to just go and share it on other platforms as your own. can you not just have a little respect?

please be careful because your actions can be so damaging to others and/or yourself. don’t think you can just so easily take other people’s work and use them as your own; there will always be consequences.

creds to @/rlcswo on tiktok for stealing multiple works of mine that i loved a lot and making me feel disgusted (cuz of the plagiarist, not me) about them now and possibly for the rest of my life :D and! for pushing me to quit posting works in the future 👍🏻👏🏻 they also stole so many other creator’s works and posted them as their own. guys, please report them and find the original authors to let them know as well <3
