I’m still not over the fact that when the female characters finally got screentime, it wasn’t from Viv or in the main series.

The short is nice. I’m happy we learned something about Millie and Sallie but it doesn’t matter in the long run when the main series will never bother to flesh out the both of them or topics in the short.

Helluva Rewrite: Moxxie

A big thing with Moxxie was just me wanting him to not look like a butler. I don’t know what it is with Viv and men in suits, but I'm not a fan. To keep his vest from blending into his pants, I untucked a bit of his undershirt. I want each member of IMP to stand out visually from one another (because all imps literally look related to some degree lol) so I gave Moxxie green in his color palette to contrast the orangish red tone I gave his skin. I also think green eyes will help him stand out very nicely from the group. Instead of striped I put gold rings on his tail and gave him a couple rings on his fingers because greed and gold. Since Viv loves bowties, I let Mox keep his but made it droopy because I think it’s cuter. Originally, I was going to keep his coattails, but I feel like with the shape of his legs it just muddies his silhouette. 

With Moxxie there isn’t much about his character I have to gripe about or want to change. He’s a skilled gunman with knowledge of the subject and history of guns. Cool, now for that, I’m working in his greed traits and decided that he outright hoards guns (since viv wants to claim imps hoard things). Moxxie has a vast collection and is always keeping them nice and spiffy. 

Now one thing I don’t like about Moxxie is his insecurity. Moreso the fact that it’s constantly being played up, like in Unhappy Campers where he’s like a crotchety old woman going through menopause because his wife is more popular than him. At that point it’s just stupid for the sake of drama. Since I made Millie the insecure one, I’m going to play up Moxxie’s straight man status. 

Moxxie is going to be the level headed cool sniper type I suppose. He’s not going to be as expression as Millie, the blue oni to her red in a sense. I think the comedy of that could be when something does make him lose his composure (I think I'll draw up a redone scene as an example) like Millie’s parents outright disliking him or Striker singing about how he sucks and should go fuck himself. I like the idea that because of his childhood as the son of an abusive mob boss father he’s learned to shove bad feelings down rather than express them outright. This doesn’t mean I want him to be a stone faced rock. No, I mostly just want him to express surface level exasperation and frustration with Blitzø’s antics (like his big “WHAT?” when Blitz mentions he hired Strikker) 

So an example of this could be Striker’s song. After he tells Moxxie to go fuck himself, a close shot of Moxxie’s face shows it twitching. He adjusts his glasses, stands up, and excuses himself. (Millie recognizes that this is bad because she knows him and follows) But she loses him in Striker’s fangirl crowd. Moxxie will be visibly upset as he climbs the stairs before hearing Millie calling for him and regaining his composure – until he notices the glow coming from Striker’s room that catches his attention. 

So I don’t want this Moxxie to be a straight-faced ass, just a more composed character. 

Back to his insecurity real quick! Mozzie is a trained assassin but his is not physically strong enough to fight hand to hand. This is a weak spot for him because his father constantly shat all over him growing up and would literally smack him around and Moxxie was (in his own mind) too physically weak to stop it from happening. 

As to how he met Blitzo... well in this I don’t want the bs jail in hell bit because there has been no justifiable ass pulls by Viv or the team. Idk I'm having trouble. Maybe they met through Millie? Like Moxxie meets Millie doing something and is like ‘holy shit I love this chick fuck you dad I'm out.’ 

Idk that’s what I'm going with I'll fix it later this took way too long to do and i'll still gotta do Blitzo and Stolas and maybe the other characters and then maybe rework season one idk i'll focus on just doing Blitzo and reworking my Loona again

Blitzø:

You were hypnotized by some magician like criminal to do bad things as the criminal thought that no one would believe a child do his deeds for him.

Well that ended up you dying in one of the crimes he had forced you to do and so you ended up in hell.

He met you when he was getting some food for him and loona.

He didn’t ask about how you’re here or where’s your parents if your were born here, he just took you with him to the apartment he owns, saying how you’re now his daughter which greatly startled you about how sudden he was about this decision without even knowing you.

He learned what happened while you were still alive and then grew overprotective as many demons who died in the human world is more powerful than the hell-born demons so he doesn’t want you to get used again like when you were alive.

He spoils you like he does with loona and buys you a lot of stuff, while he buys stuff he makes sure to buy a tracker just in case you go missing or get lost or other situations.

He’ll make sure you’re safe and sound, making sure to keep you close to him even at I.m.p office.

Loona:

You were kicked out of the orphanage and died stealing some food.

Loona was just walking down the street after getting a hell version of Starbucks when you appeared in front of her in your new demon form still a child.

She was shocked to see a child being in hell but anything is possible.

She decided to take you home which surprised her as she wouldn’t do it but you just seemed to spark her interest especially with how she knows how hell would treat a young child like you.

She soon learned your backstory and she kinda related but it looks like you got the short end of the stick unlike her.

She secretly likes that blitzø easily took a shine to you but doesn’t show it, she also gets you gift she thinks you might like like a wolf doll.

She’ll be overprotective of you when out and will bite off anyone heads who decides to try and mess with you.

Millie:

Your family were murders so being in their family made you go to hell after you had died unexpectedly young.

You bumped into her after you get sent to hell and she just couldn’t let you survive on your own especially since you’re in hell and won’t go far unless you know what you’re doing.

So she took you to her apartment she shares with her beloved husband.

Moxxie wasn’t expecting his wife to bring home a child but after being explained how you got here he caved in and soon became your dad.

She makes sure you have everything you need and teaches you everything you might need to know along with some things she learned on her family’s farm.

She and moxxie both take you to work so you know both blitzø and loona, sometimes you’d be babysat by them when the two wants alone time.

She’s overprotective of you as she is of her husband and would do anything to keep you and him safe and sound.

Stolas:

You actually accidentally summoned him when finding one of his more easier summoning rituals so you and him became friends as you were lonely with how you had no friends.

He took interest you and started teaching you things like math and other useful thing you might need in the future.

He decided that you were perfect to be his daughter and know that you would get along with Octavia but he worries on what Stella would do when she finds out about you so he’ll have to do something with her and soon.

The way he had you be taken to hell was possess you and kill your parents though that was a bit tricky as their always working but thankfully he figured out when they be off work and home.

After he had you kill your parents he made you kill yourself so you could come down to hell and be his child.

He already taken care of Stella and made it look like a assassination attempt on him but she was hit, thankfully his blitzy and his friends did a wonderful job doing it too.

Your young mind didn’t comprehend or remember how he had possessed you and had killed your parents and yourself which he was thankful for as he means you still see him in a good lighting even with the new demon look you had gain. You and Octavia got along alright, though she didn’t understand why her father did what he did but didn’t really question as everyone in hell is demons and there’s a lot of things that have happened so it was best not to question things.

Helluvaboss? Never seen it? Oh cool, cool, I gotchu boss. It's a silly, goofy cartoon adult show about silly Imps who go down to earth and murder people they're hired to murder! Lots of sex jokes, swearing, and absurd situations. The best part is one is fucking a literal prince and they're into BDSM and bondage so LOTS of fun sexy jokes and moments there! Here, I'll introduce you:

This one? Oh yeah, this one's the main character. He adores ponies and makes dozens of horse OC's for a pony show he likes, pairing them up and making whole little relationship charts for them. He also has several horse plushies and hand makes his own horsie branded things; but he can't really spell so he does his best. He has a stuffed horse his boyfriend gave him called Spirit Jr . because Spirit is his favorite movie, and he's a deeply loving man who cares intensely for the people he considers family and is protective of them to the point of risking himself. He desperately craves love and affection despite hating himself so much that he genuinely believes he's not and has never been worth anyone's!

This one? Oh, this one's the main character's best friend-turned-enemy-turned-best friend. It's a long story. He's a fully disabled sweetheart who adores his boyfriend with all his heart and would quite literally run himself ragged to make people smile. He's a soft, gentle, kind-hearted babydoll who doesn't believe he's good enough to have the fame that he's earned through struggle, pain, and hard work or the love of his boyfriend, and wants nothing more then to be a happy little lap kitty with happy friends and the open affection of his partner!

These two? Oh, this is Moxxie and Millie. They work for the Main Character and they're a happily married, emotionally stable, well adjusted and healthy couple! They have their problems like anyone else, of course, but they ultimately get through their issues with communication, patience, and understanding, and they love each other deeply and dearly- they'll do anything for the other.

Millie is an emotionally intelligent, loving, motherly rough and tumble type who loves a good scuffle but is nothing but gentle towards her friends and loved ones, unless they need a kick to the butt. She's overly competitive and sometimes her anger gets the better of her, but she's ultimately about the most well adjusted person in the cast! Moxxie is a shy, anxious, socially awkward love bug who really just wants to listen to his musicals and cuddle his wife in peace! He adores art in almost any form, in 110% whipped and both knows and loves it, and he's terrified of rejection and desperate for the approval of those around him!

He's a little crack shot and arguably the most lethal person in the cast, but legitimately can't bring himself to fire a shot in the first episode because he might be ruining an innocent family, and that thought destroys him! Give him a gun and a bullet and your ass is finished, but he'd really rather not!

This is Stolas! He's the main character's boyfriend- er, sort of. It's a whole thing. He's been in a fridge! He's a depressed, socially anxious mess who loves romance novels, singing, telenovas and romcoms! He wants to be swept up in a whirlwind romance, and is desperate to find happiness and love after being forced into an abusive arranged marriage to a woman who he's as gay as a unicorn's fart! He has and adores a daughter with his whole heart and she may be among the only things keeping him alive and kicking! He's a genuinely kind, sweet, and deeply loving man who cares quite a bit for our Main Character and, despite his flaws, wants the best for the people around him!

This one? Oh, this one. This one's Loona. She's our Main Character's adopted daughter. Loona regularly physically assaults her father, wounding him both mentally and physically! She's a mean, bad tempered ball of attitude and rejection issues, who picks on Moxxie, antagonizes everyone else, and can't have even one drink because you 'won't like her' even after one. She drops the ball on her responsibilities most of the time, and when she does do her job she does it badly and with attitude. She's angry, antisocial, and aggressive, and she won't hesitate to get in anyone's face about anything. (She's also quite loyal, surprisingly kind, shy, and very sweet...but she wouldn't want you to know that. And we're not covering anything they wouldn't want you to know!!)

"I don't want to talk to him!" You whispered yelled.

Blitz handed you the phone, then drove like a maniac. "Hey Stolas, listen, Blitz and I cant fuck you tonight. We're taking Loona to the doctor and she's freaking out."

"Put him on speaker." Blitz said, swerving the car.

"I'm sorry it's a bad time yet again.But, umm...I seem to have found myself in a bit of a sitch. I'm tied to the back of a horse at the moment."

"Pffttt...lucky bitch." Blitz said.

"Um, well, no. Rather unlucky. I seem to have been stolen by little cowboy friend of Blitz'."

"Ohh, which one?"

"Blitz if you made me talk to him then why are you the one who keeps talking?" You raised an eyebrow.

"How many cowboy friends do you know?" Moxxie said to Blitz. "What does he look like, your highness?"

"Umm...sexy?"

"That's Striker, sir!"

"Oh, for fuck's sake! Can't you just get away? Aren't you powerful?"

"I believe he has bound me with blessed rope, which limits my ability to free myself, I'm afraid. So, I think you and Y/n should come save me. I love it when Y/n uses her big metal po-"

"Okay, Stolas that's enough." You nervously laughed.

"Oh, shit. Stolas, I can't today, alright? I'm sorry. Like Y/n said, we're literally on our way to take Loona in for her very important Hellbies s-h-o-t."

You looked over at Loona and gave her a reassuring smile, but Loona just gigged you.

"Oh, ha, ha. Well, I do agree that is very important...But, I-" Stolas got caught off because of Striker.

"Don't worry about your lanky birdy...he's in good hands." The phone line vanished.

"Gaaagh, damn it!"

Blitz moves the clutch forward and the car speeds down the highway.

"Sir, let me, Moxxie and Y/n handle this one." Millie suggested.

"Me?! Why me?"

"Yeah, I don't want Y/n to get hurt." Blitz looked at you. Does he think I can't do it? He's the one that begged me to join.

"Actually, I do want to help you guys. I haven't whacked shit in a while." You chuckled.

"What's up with you and whacking?" Moxxie pointed.

"It's better than sticking a needle in my arm isn't it, Mox?"

Moxxie looked like he was about to say something but didn't.

"Okay, are you sure you three got this alone?" Blitz looked back.

"We can do it, sir." Moxxie smiled as his wife put a cowboy hat on him.

"Alright. Well, hurry. Stolas sounds like he might be in real shit this time." Blitz pulled up to the tall St. An's Hospital main building. "And knowing that guy's aesthetic, my money's that he's in Wrath." Blitz drops the car keys into Moxxie's hand, as Blitz pulls Loona out of the van and carries her over his head. "Now, get your asses down there and look for some cowboy crap or something."

Moxxie drives the van away. You sat in the back seat so Millie could sit up front with her husband.

"So Y/n, Mox and I been wonderin, what are you and Blitz?"

Your eyes widened, not so sure what to say. "Uh..I don't really know. Why?"

"You two have a connection. Mox and I can see it." Millie smiled. "Do you like our boss." She smirked.

"I mean, I do have to fuck him and Stolas once a month so.." You laughed nervously. "I grew up with Blitz. He's been my childhood best friend and I don't want to ruin things, ya know?"

"So you do like him! Mox, I told you!" Millie shook her husband.

"Millie I'm trying to drive!"

"Whoa, whoa I never said I liked him."

"You said 'I don't want to ruin things,' so technically you did out yourself." She had a smug look on her face.

You playfully rolled your eyes. "I may have ended up having small feelings for him, but there's no way we can get in a relationship. There's a weird thing happening between him and Stolas...and I don't want to say anything that may ruin the ability to get the book, or ruining any sort of relationship."

"How did you become a part of the transactual fucking?" Moxxie asked.

"Ha! Funny story. I was on the streets for like 2 weeks before calling Blitz asking him to pick me up. By the way, haven't spoken to each other in like 15 or so years. So I lived with him, obviously met you guys, then a week later he made me go with him to take Stolas' fancy book aka, the first time we all fucked. And then Stolas wanted to fuck me and Blitz, but to be honest mostly Blitz. So Blitz decided it would be a great idea to play along and now I am stuck fucking my boss and the Prince, at the same time."

"Wow..." M&M said.

"Wait, but I thought you and Blitz fuck one on one?" Moxxie recollected.

"Eventually yeah. And can we please stop talking about this? Weirds me out."

"Now you know how we feel whenever Blitz talks about Millie's and I's relationship."

"Oh come on, Mox." Millie laughed. "We all need to go on a double date."

"Fuck no. I don't want Blitz to know I have feelings for him. I think he suspects it but we haven't really said anything."

"Are you afraid he won't like ya back?" Millie frowned.

"Not necessarily. During my whole life and me with drugs it made our relationship a little rocky. Especially whenever I left and ghosted him for years. And even now I still relapse on drugs and he gets hurt or angry over it. I don't think we'll be good in a relationship." You looked out the window.

M&M exchanged glances.

"I'm sure in the future everything will be better." Millie reached out for your hand, in which you gladly received.

The van pulled up to the gas station. "I'll grab the gas. You two go and see if anyone's seen Striker anywhere."

You and Millie left the van and spotted the mariachi band.

"Howdy, boys! Y'all seen this motherfucker riding around here?" Mille shows the band a picture of Striker firing off a gun.

"He's galloping-" They started to sing.

"No, NO! No singing! Just a yes or no, please."

"Yeah, he lives out by the Badman Lands, in the old train tunnel near the mine shafts. Very outlaw aesthetic, ya can't miss it."

"Thank you, kindly. Come on, Mox! We got a lead!"

"Whoa what the fuck happened here?" You snickered.

All three get back into the van. Moxxie speeds forward, taking off the biker's head and exploding the gas station.

"So you think that band made it out alive?" You joked, making Millie laugh.

"I wouldn't mind being in a band. I can play guitar while Millie sings." Moxxie beamed.

"Don't you guys do that already?"

"I-..well yeah." Moxxie replied. "I think that's the place!" Moxxie slammed onto the gas. You and Millie held on tightly to the "Oh Shit" bars.

"Get ready to fight!" Moxxie yelled out.

"Wait who's gonna try to save Stolas?" You yelled.

M&M eyeballed you.

"Of course." You mumbled.

The I.M.P van breaks through the cave wall, tumbling down an embankment and as the van comes to a rest. Moxxie opens the door with a rifle in his hand. You waited until Striker was occupied with M&M so you could free Stolas.

You held your metal pole tightly and found your way over to Stolas.

"Holy shit. Let's get you out of here."

"Y/n! Oh how I missed you." He coughed out in pain.

"I missed you too." You tried to undo the ropes but it was too tight. "I wish I brought a knife of some sort." You looked over at the fight and saw that Millie has an ax.

You looked back at Stolas and tried to drag him but he cried out in pain, getting Strikers attention.

"Oh goddamnit." You whispered, preparing to fight with the pole.

You ran towards him and swung your pole at his head. Striker yelled out in pain but didn't fall.

You were going at it again, swinging the pole but Striker kicked your legs. He pinned you down with his foot, just like how he did when you two first fought each other.

"Givin' me déjà vu." He smirked.

Moxxie picked up your pole that was sitting on the ground and hit him with it, you scrambled out of that position and grabbed Millie's ax. "I need this to free Stolas."

"What's up with this goddamn pole." Striker growled, rubbing his head.

Moxxie and Millie teamed up so Striker wouldn't see what's happening with you and Stolas.

You carefully cut the rope to free him. Stolas was groaning in pain, his hand over the wound of his shoulder.

"You're going to be alright." You reassured him in a soothing voice, but deep down you're nervous about him not surviving.

You jolted your head whenever you heard Striker's statue fall. You let out a breath of relief that the fight is over.

Moxxie walked over to the statue, "Fuck." He mumbled.

"What's wrong?" You yelled out, Millie walked over to where you and Stolas were.

"He's gone." Moxxie looked their way. "Oh crumbs! We've got to get him to a hospital!"

The three helped pick up Stolas and laid him in the back seat. You gently lifted up his head and rest it on your lap.

Moxxie sped off, Millie occasionally looking back to see how Stolas was doing.

"He's breathing, but it's very slow." You gently brushed his feathered hair. "You're going to be okay." You whispered.

The van pulled up to the hospital. Millie and Moxxie quickly got out and opened up the back door. Paramedics and the paparazzi swarmed over. They picked up his unconscious body and placed him on a stretcher.

You got out of the van, covered in Stolas' blood and feathers.

"Sir, are you alright?" Moxxie said to Blitz as he got up from being trampled.

"Oh, peachy. Yeah, no. Today has been wonderful, what the fuck was THAT about?" Blitz pointed to the hospital doors.

"Stolas got hurt, bad." Millie had the look of worry on her face.

"Stolas got what? How?... He can get hurt?" His eyes became glossy. Blitz noticed you trembling, looking at the black blood that was on you.

"Is that yours or Stolas'?" Blitz said in worry.

"Mostly Stolas'." You mumbled.

"Let's go home. I can drive." Moxxie put his hand on Blitz's back.

The five got into the van, you sitting in the back. Blitz opened up the door and saw blood and feathers covering the inside of his car. He swallowed and got into the van, sliding over to you to make room for Loona.

The ride home was pretty quiet. You saw Blitz pull out his phone and was presumably texting Stolas.

You were going to text him but you weren't feeling it. You rested your head on the window, taking in the view of the scenery as the van passed by so many buildings.

Blitz glanced over at you, his hand made its way to yours. You looked over at him and sadly smiled before holding it.

"I'm glad you're okay." He said above a whisper.

You chewed on your lip and nodded. You feel like it's your fault, if you took some stimulants then Stolas wouldn't be too badly hurt. But in reality that doesn't matter if you took it or not. It wouldn't make the events change.

Whenever they have to go assassinate again, you're thinking about taking stimulants. You kept telling yourself that you're only going to do it before the job, just like how you told yourself that  you're only going to do it before the circus performance.

Fuck, I forgot my pole.

Helluva Boss Season 2 Episode 3 Review

Trigger Warning ⚠️ Blood

Today I'm going to review Season 2 Episode 3 "EXES and OOHS" released on March 11th, 2023. Just know that I am posting this on the day when I can so for those reading this post will contain spoilers for the episode. I suggest you all watch it to form your own opinions before reading this blog.

I'm going to create sections of what I do like about this episode and what I don't like about this episode starting off with what I do like.

Animation

The animation in this episode like all of the episodes in Helluva Boss is very well animated, smooth, and has a well drawn environment. This episode mainly centers around the Greed Ring with the entire color of setting being different shades of Green. The characters move really smoothly, I didn't even notice any choppy animation in the episode, and many things in the episode just looked really stunning. In my opinion the animation in this episode is the best of Season 2 thus far.

The fight scene where Millie goes up against Crimson's goons is the best fight because the DHORKS Battle has so many problems that I don't feel like listing right now. The Striker vs Moxxie & Blitzo fight could've ended in so many ways if all of the characters just fought and didn't talk.

I do have a nitpick it's that when the Imp was stabbing and shooting a dead body, yet no stab marks and or bullet wounds were there. Just splatters of blood, but I'll ignore that.

Overall this episode has pretty great animation and the best fight in Helluva Boss thus far. So let's move onto what I did not like about this episode.

It's another Moxxie episode

This episode is just another God damn Moxxie Episode. Now what do I mean when I say it's another Moxxie Episode? Well the entire episode centers around developing Moxxie so he can come out to be a stronger individual by the end of it. That is basically what Moxxie episodes are, a notable example of this is the Harvest Moon Festival.

Like two other episodes in Helluva Boss, Moxxie is portrayed as a weak individual to the antagonists, he either saves himself or gets saved by someone else (mainly Millie). Learns to stand up for himself and Millie comforts him near the end of the episode.

Harvest Moon Festival follows that formula & Murder Family follows that formula (mostly). With the difference being that it's different antagonists.

Now as to why I didn't like this aspect is because in the two episodes that centered around Moxxie led him to become more brave overtime against those who are more powerful than him. Though in this episode his character is just restarted again and goes through the same development.

Chaz & Crimson

I didn't like neither Chaz or Crimson in this episode, but to keep it short they're both bland and cliche as hell.

Chaz doesn't have a character aside from the fact that he's horny and greedy. There's literally nothing else to his character aside from that. I can't tell of the writers killing him off in his debut episode is good or bad because he could've been a potentially interesting antagonist.

Crimson is literally just Stella, but even worse than her somehow. He's a greedy ass sociopath who's literally a spoiled baby. The man literally kills those who disrespects or stands up to him hell he even killed his wife without any damn regret and plans to kill his own son. Design wise, he's literally just Moxxie but taller, a darker red skin color, white scars around his eyes, and a golden tooth. There's definitely gonna be someone who mistook Crimson as Moxxie's brother or something.

Since Chaz is dead, this leaves Crimson who will either die by Moxxie or Millie's hands or be spared by Moxxie due to his morals. Either way I don't like either of them because they're really bland and boring compared to some of the other more interesting antagonists we've gotten in Helluva Boss.

Sudden Tone Changes

The tone of this episode like a few others in Helluva Boss cannot decide what to stick to. The tone in this episode goes from suspenseful to comedic, sad to comedic, or depressing to comedic. Notice I said "comedic" three times. Because the episode has so much bad humor it overshadows the somewhat decent parts of the episode.

I can't take the episode seriously if it keeps wanting me to switch emotions like a person with split personality disorder.

Humor

90% of the humor in this episode is sex jokes and it has gotten old really quickly throughout the episode. The entire episode gives off "Oh we're an adult show, that means we can make dirty jokes and curse most of the runtime."

There were a couple jokes that made me chuckle like when the priest just straight up left after witnessing Millie killing Crimson's goons, but the majority of the time, I just looked at the episode with a straight face.

Millie

The writers in this episode really should've done something with Millie because there were about two things that they should've done with her in this episode.

First off, it isn't explained how she met Chaz it's just shown how Moxxie met Chaz. And yet we don't know why Millie was pissed off at Chaz in the beginning of the episode and why she wants to hurt him so badly. Millie wasn't aware that Chaz and Moxxie were dating until later on in the episode, while that did pretty much enhance her hatred for Chaz, we still don't know the fucking root behind it. Like how the fuck did the writers even forget about that?

Second off, there still isn't any character development of Millie. Her entire character is, she's Moxxie's wife who's violent as fuck and this episode pretty much cements that. Throughout the whole episode aside from being pissed off at Chaz, she's either worried about Moxxie, pissed off that Moxxie is hurt, or is just thinking about Moxxie. At least provide an explanation as to why she's so obsessed with Moxxie. This episode could have been the perfect place for that to be established. Millie could've explained why she despises Chaz and why she loves Moxxie so dearly. That would've been something, but nope we don't fucking get it.

At this point, I don't believe Millie will get any character development in the future because the writers don't seem to even be trying with her when the opportunities are clear as day.

Story

The story of this episode is meh, many things from the story of this episode is really cliche. From Crimson forcing Moxxie to marry Chaz to become richer and more powerful, to Chaz being overly horny because yes, to Millie becoming rageful because her hubby is in danger, to Blitzo being overly horny, and Crimson becoming an abusive father that's rich and powerful and extremely violent.

The episodes in Helluva Boss overuse too many cliches at this point leading me to not being interested in the story of this episode all that much.

Conclusion

I only watched the episode twice as of making this blog and found a couple things I consider problems in the episode. While the episode is well animated, has a pretty good fight scene, and interesting concepts, it fumbles in its writing and direction. I was gonna hold off on releasing this, but I'm a bit impatient.

People are gonna most likely disagree with me because I'm already noticing that people love this episode, but that's not gonna change how I feel about this episode overall and it shouldn't change how the readers view it. IMP Mission: Mansion Exploration

Warning: Zombies

We open up on Crimson’s Mansion from Exes and Oohs. The I.M.P. trio are seen standing outside.

Moxxie: “Sir, why were we summoned here again? You know what happened here.”

Blitzø: “Yeah well, I got a weird ass text from someone saying. ‘Help, help, someone save me. I’m being eaten.’ Probably a wrong number but still might as well check it out. Stay focused gang, we all know who lives here.”

Moxxie: “Still, look at this place… it looks war torn…”

Millie: “Don’t worry, hun. We’ve got your back.”

The trio all pull out their weapons and enter the mansion. They all suddenly hear a groan.

Blitzø: “Someone must be having their happy time- dammit! These were my favorite boots!”

Blitzø picks up his foot to reveal he stepped in some kind of entrail. He quickly makes a face of disgust before scraping his boot against the floor. He then looks around and sees a bunch of bodies littered around the room. The doors to the dining room have broken off its hinges, the trio enter the room, which is in shambles.

Blitzø: “Oh… shit…”

The groaning gets louder before a figure approaches from behind Moxxie who quickly turns around and shoots the figure. They drop down dead and the trio approach the figure. Moxxie’s eyes widen as soon as he spots the red makeup around the lips.

Moxxie: “Wait, I recognize him. His name was Giancarlo. He worked with my father-”

Millie: “But he’s dead… I killed him myself.”

Blitzø: “The f*cks going on in this house of horrors?”

Moxxie suddenly spots a tv connected to a vhs player. He quickly begins looking around before spotting a tape. He picks it up, a hand slides off of it.

Millie: “What’s that Mox?”

Moxxie: “Answers.”

He puts the tape into the vhs player and starts it up. Not noticing the face of Giancarlo starting to twitch.

Alessio (On the tape): “Hello is this on? This is Alessio, I’m the right hand man and bodyguard for Crimson Knolastname. Recently, we’ve been understaffed after we tried to force the boss’s son into a marriage. Being the cheap bastard that he is, never thought I’d say that about him, instead of hiring new goons. He used magic to bring the ones we lost back from the- keep those doors closed! Don’t let them in! No! Nooo…”

Alessio’s voice begins to trail off as crunching and chewing sounds are heard. The trio can’t help but look away. They’ve done bad stuff but this is downright cruel. They turn around only to see Giancarlo rise up and turn to them. Suddenly more sharks begin rising up, all groaning and begin approaching them. They try entering the room only to get caught in the doorway. One of the larger sharks, Nickel, shoves them aside before approaching the trio. Blitzø shoots him in the stomach. The shot causes Nickel to fall over knocking over the sharks behind him.

Blitzø: “F*ck this shit! We gotta leave!”

The trio make a break for the door before it gets closed by a pair of shark twins.

Zombie Tazer: “Surprise.”

Zombie Kruncha: “Goodbye.”

A music player begins to play haunting music as the trio turn around and see the zombie sharks get back up. Moxxie and Blitzø begin firing their weapons as Millie tries to use her Wrathian strength to get past the twins and to the doors. It’s no use, the zombie sharks just shrug off their shots and the twins manage to out maneuver Millie and disarm her. Soon Blitzø and Moxxie run out of ammo. Blitzø steps forward

Blitzø: “Listen here you undead worm shit! You think-”

Blitzø is promptly slapped. As Moxxie and Millie are restrained.

Moxxie: “What do you guys want?”

Zombie Cleo: “You three!”

Zombie Marcella: “Moxxie, we’ve been nice to you ever since your mom passed away…”

Zombie Stu: “And your bitch of a wife all killed us…”

Moxxie: “That wasn’t my fault! You guys were all trying to stop Millie from forcing me to marry Chaz!”

Zombie Nickel: “Still… that doesn’t change the fact that you never told her we had a positive relationship with you…”

Moxxie: “Listen-”

Zombie Giancarlo: “We treated you like you were one of our own.”

Zombie Cleo: “We snuck you out.”

Zombie Quint/DB: “We looked after you when your bastard father was too busy stroking his own ego.”

Moxxie: “It was a lot to take in! I was returning home after-”

The trio is forced to look at the remains of Crimson and Alessio with bite marks and flesh ripped off of them. Moxxie can’t help but begin to hyperventilate as he realizes what’s going to happen as the sharks begin to surround them, mouths salivating.

Zombie Giancarlo: “You ruined our family. So now we’ll ruin yours.”

Moxxie: “No! don’t!”

The zombie sharks begin surrounding Millie. Moxxie suddenly jolts up in bed, sweat covering his body.

Moxxie: “NO!”

Millie begins to wake up.

Millie: “Baby, you okay?”

Moxxie: “Just a nightmare yet it felt so real… was it just a dream, or some kind of warning.”

Moxxie looks out the window. As we end.

After having to suffer with Helluva Shorts 2 & 3 I decided to create my own. It’s probably really stupid but it’s probably way better than the actual content. Anyways this was partially inspired by the zombie scene from Emesis Blue. I got the shark's names either from character sheets or the fan wiki. This is meant for a small portion of the fanbase who liked the background mafia sharks like me because we felt like the writers could’ve done more with them rather than leaving them as nameless cannon fodder. Them speaking even though they’re zombies is based off of one my favorite zombie films, The Return of the Living Dead.

Thoughts on the legendary cookies?

Okay, this has been in my inbox for a while, I might as well answer this now

I’m just gonna focus on the elemental Ovenbreak Legendaries, since that’s what I was thinking of. I’ll put my thoughts on the others at the end, but it probably won’t be as in depth

Fire Spirit Cookie:

So I got this ask back before Flames of Longing was announced, and I was going to to say that I don’t really care for Fire Spirit, as I know basically nothing about him, but then Flames of Longing came out, and I quite like him there. Yeah he’s a bit of a prideful bastard, but he’s got a heart, and I can’t help but like him.

His Cookie Trial is ass though, I’m so bad at it

Moonlight Cookie:

I also quite like Moonlight Cookie. Granted, I haven’t gotten close to getting through Episodes 15-16, as I’m stuck at the beginning, but from what I have seen from cutscenes and Crunchy Dreams, she seems neat. Hopefully with her (I think) joining the fight against Dark Enchantress Cookie, we’ll be able to see more of her. I’m curious what interactions between her and the Ancients would be like. Also I haven’t finished Odyssey so I don’t know how we got to the Gingerbrave group looking for Moonlight, but I can’t help but imagine Gingerbrave going up to the Ancients and being like “hey guys, I was able to recruit the powerful moon lady! Oh, and her ocean wife!” (I assume that Sea Fairy would probably join if Moonlight was there) while they’re just like “wait how”

But let me tell you, until I got her for myself, I feared her in Arena

Sea Fairy Cookie:

Now, I actually quite like Sea Fairy Cookie, she seems like a nice lady. I just wish I knew more about her. I mean yeah, I know stuff about her, like the Sugarteara stuff and her relationship with Moonlight, but my thing with her is that we don’t know much about her herself, or at least things that don’t relate to Moonlight

I like seamoon, it’s cute, but I feel like it’s one of those ships/relationships where while one of the characters is allowed to have arcs outside of the relationship and about them themselves, but the other is stuck having basically all of their character moments having to do with their relationship, like Jay/Nya from Ninjago and Moxxie/Millie from Helluva Boss. The things about Sea Fairy that we’ve seen, like the Tower of Frozen Waves and the Sacred Pearl, seem to all have to do with her longing for Moonlight Cookie, and it feels like this relationship just defines Sea Fairy. Which sucks because I want to know about Sea Fairy all on her own. She’s the only elemental legendary we’ve met where we don’t know their origin, and sure we know she’s cursed, but we know nothing about that curse. I want to know about her lore, but right now we just don’t have it. But I hope we get it at some point, and Sea Fairy isn’t just relegated to “pining for Moonlight”

Wind Archer Cookie:

I also like Wind Archer well enough, but I also feel like I don’t know much about him. From what I’ve seen (pretty much just he Sherbet story and Truth of the City), I like him, I just haven’t seen enough with him in it. Hopefully that gets rectified in Kingdom, at least assuming he doesn’t show up with Millennial Tree Cookie. Personally I’d like to see him show up in Beast Yeast and become a traveling companion of the Gingerbrave group. That’d be neat to see

Millennial Tree Cookie:

I quite like Millie, he seems very interesting. I feel like I don’t have much to say on him, but I am very curious to find out more about his lore, which I imagine we’ll get. Also I personally like to think that White Lily Cookie comes from his forest, so if that turns out to be true, we’d get some interesting interactions between him and Dark Enchantress. And possibly he could be a reason for White Lily existing outside of Dark Enchantresses, since I mean he is an ancient powerful being

Also I love his trial theme, it’s very relaxing to listen to

Also a random tidbit, but I keep thinking his voice sounds like the voice Charriii5 gave the N’rrgal leader in his EWW Sonic Chronicles video. I don’t know why

I was gonna just talk about the Ovenbreak elementals, but might as well mention Frost Queen too

Frost Queen Cookie:

I like her. I’ve heard people think she’s evil because of how she treats Sherbet’s fate, but like, it’s just a fact of life for her, it’s something she knows is inevitable, why wouldn’t she act like that? Also personally I see the Legendaries as not really being the same as normal Cookies, since they’re like higher beings, so you could see her apathy as having to do with her no longer being a “normal Cookie”, so to speak. And besides, she tells Cotton of a way to possibly save Sherbet, or at least prolong their time together.

But regardless, she seems cool.

Might as well include the other legendary Cookies

Dark Enchantress Cookie is probably my favorite legendary, if only because of her story and character in Kingdom. Her being White Lily really adds interesting depth to her character and I’m very interested to see how they conclude her story

Timekeeper is fine. Personally I don’t think I get the hype. I mean yeah, I know why the hype’s there, but I don’t think I personally feel it. Maybe I’d get it more if I watched their story

Similar feelings towards Black Pearl, where I like her well enough, I just don’t know much about her to really give thoughts, since I haven’t watched her story. Though my feeling towards her are also elevated probably because she’s been an integral part of my team in Kingdom

I like the dragons, though I don’t really know much about Ananas. Did they have a story segment? Because I haven’t seen it. I think in Ovenbreak, Pitaya is my favorite, though in Kingdom I don’t think I like them as much. Maybe it’s because in Ovenbreak they seem more amicable to Cookies, at least from what I’ve seen. But I’d say Longan is second place. I’m curious if they’ll ever add any more dragons (like the North and South Dragons), and if they do, maybe ones with a different theming. Like how the five we have are supposed to be tropical fruits, maybe we could have other dragons that have a different shared base. Though I wouldn’t mind more tropical fruit dragons

For the HB ship bingo thing, what's your thoughts on M&M (aka Moxxie x Millie)?

Oooof I feel like the fandom will burn me at stake for this 😂😂😂

Okay let me explain myself, this isn’t a ship i neither love or hate. It’s rather I have mixed feelings about this ship….

I loved it at first when I watched season 1 since they badly remind me of me and my bf and they still do in a way… But tbh… season 2 kind of shoves these two in my face a lot where it starts to become less cute and more obnoxious.

I think my main issue with this ship is how much character Millie lacks. She barely has any character and all of that is always given to Moxxie 😒😒😒 even the latest episode was still a Moxxie episode at the end of the day, they just tried to give Millie more to do.

(And Viv had to make a whole ass thread to explain Millie as a character to fans than show it to us, which is a sign of bad writing. You shouldn’t have to explain things to fans if they point out these writing flaws)

Also my issue is just they really don’t know that much about each other’s personal backgrounds… like Millie knows nothing about Moxxie’s past at all like he always keeps stuff from her. (I would find that a massive red flag with my partner ) I mean hell, my bf and Moxxie are so similar ina way with not having that much of a good family tree and have a shitty dad, but he was still in front with me about his family at the end of the day.

And I kind of expected them to have a conflict where Millie is wondering why he kept so many secrets from her and such. Which is my other issue with this ship, they are waaaaay too mushy and barely even show arguments.

Like guys, arguing doesn’t mean abuse, it’s healthy for couples to argue. It be a lot more unhealthy if they never argued at all. I mean at least we see Speckle and Bertie from Tuca and Bertie have their arguments and conflicts with each other and they’re one of the ultimate couple goals in fiction.

The only good thing about the last episode is we finally see them argue for once! However, I just don’t like how they executed it, I feel like they had that change in the Ex’s and Oh’s episode.

That being said, they’re still couple goals at the end of the day. I just wish we saw them argue more so I can find them more relatable in that regard. I do think they have a lot more potential, but I think the ship would be more interesting if we saw how Millie is as an individual character without Moxxie all the time. Or at least see how they met in the past since I’m curious how they got together.

Also the fandom with this ship is a whole new story….. like oooof the fact they justify Millie lacking character and try to defend how she’s better as a background character… it just feels super sexist… like that should not only be her one character trait. She deserves to be more than Moxxie’s wife. Doesn’t help the writers just refuse to admit they’re not that good at writing female characters.😅

So yeah the ship isn’t bad, but it could be better if we saw Millie more as an individual.

If I can say a positive about them, it’s nice to see a married couple in an adult csrtoon that isn’t ugly man/hot wife or they constantly bicker and that… because that gets old quick.

Part 1

“This is a big choice to make,” Millie said, leaning her elbows on the table. “Try to think with a clear head.”

“When has he ever done that?” Moxxie muttered.

“I’ve thought through plenty of things, don’t be such a downer, Moxx.” Blitzo rolled his eyes. “Okay, so we’ve got two choices here.” He held his hand up and flicked up his fingers as he spoke. “Keep it or no. I get lots of cool shit if I do keep it, but Stolas is going to be up my ass even more than usual.”  He'd left already, telling Blitzo to come with an answer tomorrow.

“You also have to deal with being pregnant,” Moxxie pointed out. 

Loona tapped something out on her phone before looking up at Blitzo. “If you turn into even more of a little bitch around the house, count me out of this.”

“You’re all so supportive!” Blitzo’s tail snapped irritably in midair. He’d taken up pacing again, scratching his middle. “It can’t be that bad, right? People do this all the time, it’s how any of us even exist.”

“Yeah, but-”

“And Stolas seems weirdly invested in this already for someone who found out twenty minutes ago.” Blitzo mumbled, more to himself than anything.

“The Grimoire is not a toy, as you well know, darling.” 

They’d been settled in the office, with a door between them and the other IMP employees. Even when Blitzo was sitting on top of the desk, Stolas towered over him- whether it was his stilt legs or the fact that he looked stretched like silly putty, it meant Blitzo had to spend half the conversation staring up. Considering their liaisons usually took place on top of a bed or a couch and he was usually the one on top, he sometimes forgot just how big the gangly bastard was.

“Yeah, yeah, I know. Don’t touch it with cheese puff fingers, don’t handle it while drunk, blah, blah, blah. You’ve given me the spiel before.” Blitzo waved a hand, but Stolas grabbed it, intertwining their fingers, and a pulse of warm magic traveled down his arm, churning in the base of his belly. It glowed for a moment before fading.

“Mmm, yes, there is all of that, but it’s also mine.”

Blitzo raised an eyebrow. “Uh... huh. I know that too. We had a deal.”

“It was always an informal verbal agreement. I have a new idea.” Stolas’s dainty fingers pulled back from Blitzo’s. “If you wish to withdraw from our current arrangement, then if you keep the child, I’ll come by to pick the book up once a month by myself. You won’t have to come to me for the next six months unless you wish to.”

Blitzo blinked. “So... I don’t have to be your fucktoy for half a year?”

“Unless you get lonely and want to come to me,” Stolas said, “but yes.” His eyes narrowed a bit as he grinned. Blitzo knew that expression well, but couldn’t put a pin on why it was suddenly unsettling.

“What’s the catch?”

“No catch.” Stolas bent forward, spindly fingers tap-tapping on top of the tiny bump. It was barely visible under the coat, but then Stolas popped open the lower button, and Blitzo grimaced. Geez, he looked kinda fat from this angle now. “I’ll get my entertainment through a different avenue, and I know that the glow would suit you. We could work out the details later. Unless you’d prefer to come on the full moons? Whichever way, we can both get what we want.”

“Pros: He basically agreed to give me whatever I want. I’d be an idiot to turn it down.”

“You’d be an idiot to not think about this mo-”

“Up-up-up.” Blitzo pointed a whiteboard marker at Moxxie, and Millie patted his shoulder. “I’m talking. As I was saying, pros include getting whatever I want, not having to worry too much about work for almost half a year, maybe we can get some half-decent advertising out there...” And Stolas would let him out of their little side-deal that he hadn’t exactly told anyone else about yet.

“Cons: Do you really want to be even more hormonal?” Loona blew a bubble of gum before popping it. Blitzo crossed his arms.

“Real helpful. It’s really coming from all sides today, huh?”

“I think it’s kinda sweet,” Millie said. “I mean, obviously you’re gonna wanna be careful, he’s a prince after all, but he mostly does seem to mean well around you.”

“Thank you!” Blitzo rolled his hand in the air before giving a bow of his head towards Millie. “At least someone’s trying to be objective about this.”

“Objective doesn’t just mean agreeing with you, sir.”

“I’m the boss so I say it does.” He scratched the side of his hip. “Anywaaay, I’m leaning towards keeping it.”

Moxxie threw up his arms. “If you’re not even going to listen, why bother asking us to stay for this?”

“I’m this close to giving your wife employee of the month,” Blitzo threatened, and Moxxie grumbled to himself as he sunk down in his chair. “And I figured it involved everyone if it could benefit all of us. I’m being a nice guy here!”

“It’s your choice, Blitzo,” Millie said. “I’d just be ready for whatever happens either way, y’know?”

He smirked, thumping his side. “C’mon. It’s six months. How bad can it be?”

Random List of things I want from episodes of Hazbin Hotel (and Helluva Boss) when it gets greenlit cause we all know it will

Mimzy, Baxter, and Crymini joining the hotel. Think that's a pretty obvious one.

Mimzy and Alastor backstory, I know that info on Mimz being in love with Al is probably outdated but I think it would be fun if they still at least knew each other in life. (Were the friends? How close were they? Did Al fucking kill Mimzy, if so was it an accident or on purpose?) The sky’s the limit here!

On that note: Backstories on how each mortal soul involved in the Hotel ended up in Hell. Especially people who (for now) it’s kinda tricker to imagine why/how they ended up in Hell in the first place. I’m namely thinking of Vaggie and Niffty. Vaggie is a little more believable cause of her apparent reliance on weapons the first sign of trouble. But Niffty is a sweet little sugar bean who I imagine is legally forbidden from saying bad words. 

I’d like to see why Niffty ended up in a Hell cause I'm a sucker for the “Cinnamon Roll is actually Deadly Murder Baby” trope, don't judge me.

Royal Family Backstory! How did Lucifer and Lillith meet? How did they acquire their stations? When was Charlie born and how did this affect hell’s demographics, particularly in the realization that “Shit, some of us can create kids here”

Also, what other biblical figures are canon in Hazbin Hell? We already saw Stolas (though I’m still unsure if he’s the Stolas in bible or this is just, like, an avatar or version of him or something). Is Beezlebub in Hell? 

What about historical figures? Jeffery Dahmer and probably Lizzie Borden (that ax chick from Charlie’s song). Is Hitler in Hell? What about Vlad the Impaler or John Wayne Gacy?

I want Lucifer to be voiced by Weird Al. No, I will not explain or apologize for this wish.

More musical numbers!

Valentino backstory and his relationship to Angel Dust (Ik Vivz said this would be explained more in those comics but c’mon, it’d be a cool episode too).

Rosie, Vox, and other overlord backstories. I also wanna know who that cute overlord girl was with Vox and Val in the opening. She’s so cute and looks fun.

Vaggie and Alastor team up for some reason. I know they don’t really like or trust one another but I think they could play well off each other. Also character building.

Angel Dust and Charlie team up as well. Maybe a subplot to the above. More character development!

Sir Pentious, Cherri Bomb, and the Egg bois join the Hotel because why not and it’d be fun.

Angel gets a boyfriend. Cherri gets a girlfriend. 

Chaggie moments. I want their relationship to be shown in the same way Moxxie and Millie’s relationship was.

Who are the Von Eldritch family? Why to Helsa and Charlie not get along? Who is the son and why did he and Charlie break-up? What did their parents think of this? How does Vaggie (if at all) factor into this?

An episode where they focus on all the background characters in Hell (kinda like that one episode of Gumball).

Angel telling Val where to stick it being framed as him finally, seriously, giving redemption a shot.

Alastor and Vox fight framed like a big anime showdown no I will not apologize for this either, deal with it.

ALASTOR FROWNING!!!!!!

NIffty having a habit of saying really dark, morbid, depressing, horrifying things in the bubbliest, happiest voice in all of Hell. Everyone is kinda unnerved by it.

Husk is an odd combo of Rick Sanches and Grunkle Stan.

Baxter making inventing or “creating” something that destroys something in the Hotel off-screen. It becomes a running gag.

A running gag of Alastor literally shoving anyone out of the way to talk to Charlie.

Mimzy somehow becoming the mom friend despite being terrible at it.

This kind of conversation: Angel Dust: What’re you doing? Crymini: Teenage Rebellion. Angel: Fuq yeah, stick it to the old people!

An episode where Sir Pentious tries to destroy the Hotel and goes whole ham to do it... but no one in the Hotel ever notices his schemes or accidentally thwarts him without even trying,

Tom bitch slapping Katie. He deserves too.

Are there other religions in this universe? Did God and Lucifer inadvertently kick out all the old-timey deities in their rise to power?

Are any of said deities or mythological characters in Hell? Do they like it there? Do they deserve it? Again, sky’s the limit

Stolas’s daughter, Natasha (or Tasha, whatever) shows up. Maybe she’s the spoiled, bratty, daddy’s little girl trope. OR EVEN BETTER: She’s a mix of E.B. from the Netflix Green Eggs and Ham and Louise from Bob’s Burgers. Let her be smart! Let her start working for I.M.P. and run it better than any of them.

Tasha actually has a strong moral compass and actually kinda likes Charlie’s idea and wants to help, but she’s a kid and her dad says she can’t so... (She probably does anyway or Charlie tells Tasha to come back and help when she’s a bit older and has more freedom from her parents.

Blitzo and Angel Dust meeting, tell me that wouldn’t kick ass. (And Stolas meeting Angel Dust and getting “I’m here to steal yo man” vibes from him). Whether Angel and Blitzo hit it off that way is completely arbitrary.

A crossover of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss culminating in the entire crew having to defeat some big baddie and it kicks ass.

I'm obsessed with this. I have been thinking about it all day.

Stolas gets Loona a cute bow collar cause she is a pretty girl and sometimes she shakes ot to look like a bow tie like Bond but she just doesn't really like it. Blitz finds a spiked collar (or maybe it's his old spike choker) and tells her how he had one just like it when he was young. It's very punk, very cool. And that is how Loona gets her spiked choker and Blitz, Via and her feel better about it also being a collar for her leash.

They all just slowly (not really. Its quick but they dont realize it) acting like Loona is a proper member of the family and not realizing that the others are totally cool. Via ask for a new family portrait with Loona and it's just a recreation of Blitz's childhood family photo. (Stolas sitting cause tallest,Blitz standing, kids holding each other and smiling so big)

Everyone just thinks that Blitz has a type when they see how much Via and Stolas look alike. "Must have reminded him of his late wife" (the one jerk at the school interview points out the similarities and calls Stolas an even bigger replacement then the original guy.)

Millie could be a stand in for nightfall just in love with Moxxie and not on the assignment due to that. She is a bad ass and kicks twice as much butt as everyone. But her being like Carmine and working at city hall with Stolas is a cute idea. She keeps talking about her husband and then Stolas finds out its his husband's best friend Moxxie.

(Moxxie is not a fan of kids but is definitely the go to babysitter. He is always upset that he is asked but he also is over prepared. Definitely still has a grudge/ rivalry with Loona. She is a puppy but does not like him and Blitz doesn't like to Moxxie at all when he calls out her behavior.)

What is Blitz's codename? What is his cover job? Can't be a doctor. Noone would believe that. Could be office worker but it needs to be something that allows for overtime and emergencies. Maybe something in the art field? Like working at a theater or in cartoons. (Blitz would totally be the one into Spy Wars first and then get Via into it)

I can definitely see his mother's choker beimg like Twilight's wise pin that he wears everywhere.

What is Blitz relationship with Via like? Blitz really does like kids and is such a girl dad. And in SxF Anya Def attaches to Twilight first really hard and thinks he is the coolest. Is it the same for Via? Does she think he is werid but can see how much love he has even if he doesn't think he is capable? Does she think he is the fun parent (I can not see any version of Blitz being a strict parent). Do they share a love of funky music and hate of clowns and juggling (small things that Stolas sees at the Blitz part of Via).

How does Via feel about Stolas ? Is he scary at first? Is he the one to be more calm but strict with bedtimes and meals? Totally helps with studies though. He is a great Tudor.

Blitz is definitely doing the cooking but is more likely to make pancakes every morning. Stolas is great with plants and his herb garden but prince of herbs and poisons he can't help but poison the food. (But Mayne being demons the fam doesn't notice that much. Like it doesn't taste great but )

Loona definitely sneaks out to help Blitz on missions. He is so proud of his little girl

I have so much fun thinking of the character dynamics and the fun added bonus of all of them being from Hell. (This is a world where there is a problem of hellspawn migrating to Earth, and the government is working with Hell to purge their world of secret Hellborn residents)

Stolas

Stolas ran away from the throne and his arranged marriage WITH his grimoire when he was 23, fleeing to the human world to start over. (Meaning Stolas is much more accustomed to ‘real life’ than canon Stolas. Still love them both tho)

Due to not using a crystal and instead uses sheer magical will that Stolas stays in human form, he finds it difficult to keep his eyes constantly changed, so opts to just keep his eyes closed. This doesn’t limit him at all, and he can see perfectly fine with them shut. However, if feeling intense feelings, especially if sudden, he forgets or just doesn’t care to keep them shut.

Stolas became an assassin at age 25, finding an odd sense of belonging to the profession. A control he never felt in his previous life. But as the years passed, Stolas became increasingly worried about being found out by the government. Most likely he wouldn’t be executed, but at this point, he has grown fond of his life on Earth and is making no plans on returning to his loveless marriage or royal duties back in Hell.

Blitzø

During the Circus fire, the fire had spread to nearby trees and buildings, including a building that was owned by a dangerous gang in the area, the fire killing a solid number of important gang members. For years they had hunted Blitzø, and while trying to escape them one day, Blitzø landed himself inside of a jail cell, meeting Moxxie in the process. After breaking out, they both decided it would just be safer to leave Hell all together.

Blitzø steals Veroskia’s (how to spell??) crystal and gives it to Moxxie then proceeds to steal himself one by sleeping with a succubus. They flee to earth. Blitzø is 22 at this point.

He found himself hating that hellspawn are hunted on earth (the whole point of going to earth was to be able to live without that fear of being prey) he attempted to become an assassin, however, Moxxie went into spy work and was easily persuaded since he thought it was the next best thing because you got to dress up AND you got to shoot people.

(Blitzø is a great spy because he is unpredictable and spontaneous- definitely a different kind of spy compared to Twilight.)

(Millie is human in this AU, Millie is that one coworker, Camilla, Moxxie is Frankie. These two are married, don’t question it)

Octavia

Octavia’s egg hatched a week after Stolas had left. (Stella had kept the egg a secret from Stolas, wanting to not constantly be pestered by the owl demon)

Stella was set to be wed to another Goetia, and she didn’t want to bring the owlet from her first marriage that failed spectacularly over to her second one. She wasn’t close enough to the newly hatched bird to be bothered. But It couldn’t get out that a Goetia had been given up to the streets of hell, and Stella didn’t want this girl to be unfairly exploited or raised improperly for being a Goetia, especially when she looked so much like her father already. Stella manually transformed Octavia into her human disguise and handed her off to a succubus who she had paid handsomely and instructed her to be handed off to a family who could take care of her. Unfortunately, Octavia had been handed off to demon obsessed lunatics.

At the age of 4, they had Octavia read a spell that they had no idea what it did. She had the magical ability to cast it, but she had the reading ability of a four year old and she was attempting to read a language she had been taught second hand by people who had taught themselves how to read it. It didn’t go great, she passed out in the process, however, when she awoke, she was granted the gift of telepathy.

Stolas and Octavia are both unaware that she is his actual blood related daughter, but it’s constantly mentioned by other characters that they look much more related than Blitzø and Octavia do. But it’s late to change the story now!

When the show starts, Stolas is 28, Blitzø is 25, and Octavia is 5

For obvious reasons, Loona lmao. This is going to sound bad but I didn't get AS invested in the characters from the pilot as I could have been bc the format didn't really allow for that I think. 2 episodes in and I love them a lot more

2. Character I used to love and now do not:

Literally none, what happened was the other way around. I wasn't invested in any of them, and now I am in pretty much all. Especially Stolas, that was a full 180 that punched me in the face from 'character that exists I guess' to 'I WILL DIE AND KILL FOR YOU'

4. Ultimate favorite character:

Blitzo!! ESPECIALLY after Loo Loo Land. And honestly so much of it comes from Brandon's performance, his delivery adds SO MUCH personality to the character. You can tell what he feels regardless of what he's saying by HOW he says it and he's got so much depth to him anyway I love him. But honestly I love them all so much he's just a bit more bc of how layered and just fun he is to watch. Also in the end he IS so caring still, he's like a cat being an asshole but lovingly

Stolas/Blitzo bc Stolas deserves better and Blitzo deserves a family and shut up they love each other. I do think Blitzo having a crush on Moxxie is lowkey kind of cute, but I would never want them to actually happen bc Millie/Moxxie is too precious to be broken apart

Somehow, Blitzo/Millie doesn't do it for me? I think Blitzo has a bit of a crush on both the m&ms (maybe bc he's lonely and wants love so bad he crushes on everyone that is close to him, or maybe just bc he does bc horny bastard) but while Blitzo/Moxxie is cute, Blitzo/Millie is... eh

9. Favorite episode

Loo loo land! It was the ep that really sucked me in and made me see this as a good layered show. I think Murder family tried to give Moxxie more of a personality and while it is a good ep it didnt go as deep with characterization as I think it could have, other than Moxxie at least. Loo loo land did it better and did more and I hope it keeps going from there!

The teacher oof. I feel so bad for her and all the shit she went through before she died and after. She literally did nothinh wrong and deserved better

I'd say Stolas is gay and sad he was forced into a straight marriage but let's be honest literally everyone in that show is at least bi lmao) just messes one up and growing up in that household sounds like hell in hell
