making the list of my favorite safe foods so I don't overthink my dinner
!cals mentioned!
1. chocolate oat milk, 140 cals for a package (200ml), I like to have it as a meal or snack at school bc I'm struggling with eating on public
2. baby food (pureed fruits), usually less than 60 cals for a package, also often have it as a snack, but at home
3. greek yogurt, 63 cals/100g, I like it unsweetened, it's high protein and verrry filling for me
4. soups, especially self made or instant, usually about 50 cals/100g or just very low, I just put a lot of veggies and water in it (sometimes chiken as a source of protein)
5. all kinds of mushrooms, less than 30 cals/100g on average, I really love mushrooms, no matter how I cook them or where I add them, they're always yummy
6. very specific protein bars, 160-190 cals for a package (60g) depending on flavor, there's 20g of protein and 20g of fiber in one of these, like I can literally eat one as a meal and stop thinking about my fiber intake till the next day
7. bubble tea, 170 cals for my favorite one (650ml), I use official information from their website but I still think it's wrong so I usually count like 200 cals or smth, I love bubble tea way too much to be afraid, sorry not sorry
8. oatmeal, from 130 to 166 cals for a portion, I usually add more water and some soy sauce If I want it salty (pls trust me when I say oatmeal with soy sauce is a thing) or if I want it sweet I add 100ml of dairy free milk and sweetener ✨
9. salads, less than 90 cals/100g on average, I love making different salads with different dressings, I also like to add tuna or chicken for protein
10. well all kinds of veggies obviously, even potatoes are safe for me (If I cooked them myself)
Ofc almost all foods are safe If I'm the one who cooked, I'm also ok with using oil while cooking as long as I can weigh and count it

Basically what the title says, this is a little chaotic and it made me realise that I was a seriously weird kid😭 repost cause smth went wrong!!

🩷 Zenitsu once saw an open chocolate bar on the table and decided to take a small bit out of it. He then realised that it was one of those nasty yogurt health bars, he threw up afterwards
(he blamed the missing bite on inosuke afterwards).
🩷 Mitsuri was sort of a pick me as she would say things like "Only guys get my humour" or "Guys are much less drama" just so she could get more guys attention...
🩷 Inosuke ran into a road filled with driving cars when he was two, his care taker had to run and beg cars to stop driving so he could get hold of inosuke. Inosuke was somehow unharmed.
🩷 Sanemi once got so angry at Genya when they were younger that Sanemi took Genya's tablet and punched the screen so hard until it broke.
🩷 Genya thoroughly enjoyed eating lip balm, he still to this day will have a habit of licking his lips immediately after applying some
🩷 Muichirou was terrified of FNAF and Yuichirou would often hide in his closet at night and would jump out at him like that one foxy jumpscare😭. Muichirou did not feel safe at night afterwards...
🩷 Obanai was scared shitless of cats when he was younger and once when he saw a cat on the sidewalk he was walking on he ran into the road screaming to the other side of the road to get away from it.
🩷 Nezuko refuses to sleep at night unless it is with all of her toys, even those small plastic ones because she feared they would all feel left out and stop liking her which made her sad :(
🩷 Tanjiro had a similar problem but with his crayons. He would make sure to use all of them in a picture when he was younger so each crayon felt good abou themselves, even the white one😭
🩷 Uzui once saw a cute girl that was waaaaay too old for him at a gathering his parents brought him to. (He was 5 she was 16). He spent the whole night trying to look cool Infront of her and when it was time to go he fully believed they were gonna get married...
It took him 20 years to realize that he was at a family gathering and that the girl was his distant cousin whom he never saw again
🩷 Giyuu got in trouble often because he would always doodle over his work in school.
🩷 Once Genya made a small house in Minecraft that he was extremely proud of. Sanemi then got onto Minecraft and made a whole fucking castle just so he could put Genya in his place.
🩷 Akaza spent many of his days in class imagining how if there was an ambush of big men attacking the classroom he would go super saiyan and be able to take them all on in hand to hand combat. He was five.
🩷 Shinobu had a Gacha channel where she made those "doing your dares" videos with her oc's. She even had her own edgy boyfriend oc for her oc.
🩷 Muichirou for some reason memorised the whole Cat In the Hat movie script and would take videos of himself saying it word for word.
🩷 Rengoku helped a little girl go down a slide because it was obvious that she was scared. After that she then followed Rengoku everywhere until her dad took her home <3
🩷 Shinobu was caught watching gay ship amvs of her favourite cartoon on her tablet by Kanae. She cried the whole day, begging Kanae not to get her in trouble.
🩷 When Genya was little there was this small bowl and spoon that they would dish sugar out of. Genya would take that spoonful of sugar and eat it secretly. He was immediately caught because the spoon would be wet from his drool💀
🩷 Shinobu once got so pissed at kanae she " ran away from home" with a little suitcase filled with clothes. She really just went to the backyard where she sat down in the cold and finally went back in when Kanae called for dinner.
🩷 At night Inosuke would act all crazy and insane before bed so the " demons under his bed" knew that he was on their side💀
🩷 Giyuu was told by his sister that "God can make anything happen" in an uplifting way but instead it made Giyuu paranoid that a tsunami would come out of no where just to spite him for being naughty.
🩷 Sanemi purposefully stepped on a jelly fish at the beach and somehow didn't get stung...(im so sorry)

made yogurt bark yesterday to use up some greek yogurt i only bought for smoothies (freeze them into little ice cubes!!) and im a little obsessed they remind me of the m&m yocrunch cups i used to have as a kid but like. Grown Up version
recipe under the cut (very customizable ofc it's just yogurt with stuff)
1 cup creamy greek yogurt (highest fat content u can find or else it gets icy in the freezer)
½ cup peanut butter (almond butter would probably be good too)
as much protein powder as u can stand (½ scoop for me lol but u can skip this if u want)
1 chopped banana (or sliced, or skip the banana idc)
1-2 tsp maple syrup or honey
cinnamon to taste
3-4 oz dark chocolate (any other chocolate will make this more of a dessert than a healthy snack imo)
a good handful of chopped toasted almonds or peanuts
flaky salt (makes everything better)
stir up the first 6 ingredients (only half the peanut butter though) and spread into a thin layer on a parchment lined baking sheet, then warm up the rest of the peanut butter and melt the chocolate.
to make them look really nice pour each of these in alternating strips across the top and swirl them through each other with a toothpick or smth.
then it's just sprinkling the nuts and salt on top (gotta be quick since it'll harden up faster than u expect) and freezing overnight then cutting it into bite sized pieces.
i specify bite sized pieces bc all the recipes i saw online had pretty pictures of these big pieces and i forgot they're literally frozen. holding it in your hand to take multiple bites is like holding an ice cube it's not very fun. make them bite sized.
they should last for 3 months in a freezer bag after that (or so the recipe blogs say)
i'd imagine these will also make for good mix ins to smoothies, to melt into oatmeal, anything that could use a little yogurt and chocolate!! im excited to see what else i can do with these. and ive never been a greek yogurt fan personally so don't worry abt that if you usually only eat the low fat stuff. as long as u enjoy the yogurt flavor this stuff is great.

hmmm i usually loose my appetite when im really stressed. last year i was horribly stressed out and lived of off half a pizza for three days without even noticing any hunger
but i usually also drink insane amounts of coffee during exam season, which suppresses appetite
but this time around i’ve tried to eat a little bit around noon (like some crackers, an apple, a small yogurt or smth like that) and then i eat dinner w my bf, so i have to eat somewhat normally then. i also always keep a 1 litre bottle of water close to me, to make sure i drink enough.
i figured that it’s important to feed the brain if you wanna survive exam season

Here’s a little story about how I forgot to eat (pls don’t hate me I literally hope ur able to do the same if that’s smth u want)
Anyways, I’d been planning on fasting but never actually got around to doing it. Then, because of my jet lag I ended up sleeping super long and then when I woke up to eat breakfast I literally drank some water opened my yogurt (didn’t eat it) and then left bc I got distracted. When I came back more than 24h had past since I’d last eaten. I mean, I’d been meaning to fast but I never expected it to happen like this, guess that’s what happens when you mix a bit of depression with exhaustion.

ohhh sry for seeing this late
what i love eating as part of my breakfast or in between when im craving smth sweet is greek yogurt, with some fresh sliced fruit (rn i use strawberries) and some of my grandparents dandelion/linden honey (theyre beekeepers and this one is sooo tasty) to sweeten it. the greek yogurt and 🍓are quite sour so i love the combo of a lil sweetness
u can lit put anything there like oats(?) or even cereal, whatever fruit u wanna eat or not, syrup (sometimes i use rice syrup to sweeten a bit) instead of honey if u want it sweeter. i dont like candy or sweets and rather eat fruits or this when i crave a lil sweetness, idk if this is smth of ur taste tho.
i can share some simple dishes of my home cuisine like bauyrsaq or pilaf or quick random dishes i do after work if u want smth savory

okay sooooooo i went to the gym today 🥳 so i normally do 3 incline for the treadmill and thought that i could handle going from 3 to 10 😭 stupid ik, 🫠 my legs are so sore and I’m slowly gonna build up now 😭 normally i would but i was feeling like extra awesome so….
I did weights too! Which I normally don’t do pretty proud of myself :D I did sets of squats + Russian twists w/ weights- then I did that 3 sets of one glute machine :) gotta grow that bootie 💪
And I did stretch 😌
And also pretty proud that i ordered this green drink w/ like spinach n shit ?? I hate greens so much omg- I honestly have the pallet of a toddler 🫠😭 It was pretty good though??? and I had wings for lunch ! I wanted a sandwich but im tryna stay away from carbs rn😭

HIII OMG YAYY UPDATE TIME!!
HAHA yess it’s def tough working up to it…when i first started i would only spend a couple of minutes at the 12 incline and the rest at 6-8ish?? doing it kind of in intervals where you disperse shorter bursts of the higher incline with a majority at a more comfortable incline might help you progress to being consistent at the higher incline quicker because it lets your body adjust without pushing it too hard 🤔 tbh there’s still days when i only go up to the 15 incline for like the first 5-10 mins and then spend the rest of my cardio time in like the 8-10 range so i can answer emails or asks on my phone because lowkey the treadmill is kinda boring sometimes 😭
AHHH I’M SO PROUD LOOK AT YOU GOOO you will be a weightlifting pro in no time 🤩 LMAOAOA omg that’s so real though glutes forever (side note but for the longest time my mother would get rdls [as in romanian deadlifts] confused with bbls so she’d be like “did you do your bbls at the gym today ☺️” and i’d just be like “well…close enough…they ARE building that area so 🤷🏻‍♀️” HAHA it’s actually insane though what working out your glutes will do for you!! it’ll help w incline walking too everything is so interconnected it’s crazy)
HOORAY stretching ftw hehe it’s my favorite part of my workout…idk if you’ve heard that one tik tok sound where that guy goes “it’s like a reward” but that’s literally my mindset 😩 like okay if i can do one more set of squats then i can go do yoga 🤩
THAT SOUNDS YUMMYYY and dw you’re not alone i am such a picky eater too but in weird ways??? like i can’t stand blueberries on their own but i can’t eat yogurt if i don’t put blueberries in it 😓 (another side note but a more relevant one…greek yogurt is like the number one post gym snack because it has sm protein without being super heavy!! i always put chia seeds flax seeds fruit and occasionally honey in mine but you can kinda experiment w what you like…provided you’re not allergic to milk or smth ofc) honestly i think a lot of it also comes down to preparation so even if you don’t like a food in one way (like spinach in a salad for example) you might like it prepared in a diff way (ex a smoothie) ☝🏻 sometimes we must be creative in order to get our nutrients in LOLOL worst comes to worst there’s no shame in busting out the blender 🤩
I HOPE IT DIDN’T FEEL TOO HORRIBLE OR RESTRICTIVE OR ANYTHING!! just remember everything in moderation even things that people are like “no if you eat this you will never lose weight blah blah” because that’s not actually true HAHA you can eat anything and lose weight — no food is inherently bad it’s just how you view it!! ofc some have more nutrients and keep you full for longer so that’s always good to consider but i remember when i was really trying to lose weight i would leave a little buffer so i could eat takis every night 😭 and i still lost weight even w that SO it is possible and def losing weight shouldn’t be a cause of misery or make you feel like you can’t eat anything at all!! there’s 100% a balance between choosing a healthier option and sometimes just realizing it’s okay to indulge every now and again too 🤫 especially because eating in moderation instead of cutting out completely is the best way to avoid binge eating!!
OMG PLEASE ALWAYS FEEL FREE TO DROP ASKS ABOUT LITERALLY ANYTHING whether it’s abt the gym or fandoms (as i’m sure you can tell i’m in quite a few myself 😰) or real life or wtvr 💖 i loveee talking to people HAHA truly the best part of tumblr is how interactive it is!!

Once you graduate highschool (awful but inevitable) (must be American to complete sorry) a few key things will happen: one parent will become ultimately more liked than the other parent, you cannot undo this (for me my mom came out victorious). Then, you’re gonna fail somebody in some meaningless little “ways of life” thing and you’re not gonna feel too bad about it (“ways of life” things are typically, actually, “things society does” such as learning to drive, getting a job, moving out of your parents house, etc etc.)— you’re always gonna fail SOMEONE because you’ll fail to do one of the stupid little things Adults are supposed to do once they graduate high school, sorry. Finally, it’s gonna be the same as it ever was for like, forever. You’ll be asked “do you feel any different?” And you’ll have to wrestle with the fact that no, you dont, what the fuck is going on. Then you’ll answer with either “Yeah, I’m an adult now!” (Lie) or “Nah, it’s about the same as it ever was.” (Truth) and the person asking you is gonna be like “Oh!” And then you’ll have failed them in a “way of life” thing. Congrats, you’re no longer a high schooler. The way I’ve learned to deal with this is to, 1.) get dressed every day even if you really don’t want to or aren’t going anywhere, just go put something on that isn’t your PJs. You don’t even have to wear a bra or anything just put a shirt on and some pants or a skirt or smth. 2.) brush your teeth. Brush them. You don’t HAVE to floss (first time I flossed in a few weeks was today bc I’m outside of the house today), but at least brush your teeth and use some mouthwash if you think you need it. 3.) eat breakfast. “But it’s 1pm” Don’t care, eat breakfast. I’ve been eating a Chobani Flip Yogurt Cup and a banana every day, today I skipped the banana (going outside, didn’t have time) but ate a little s’mores yogurt cup. It was delicious. Eat breakfast. 4.) If you’re a gamer, or just have a PC and want/have to be on it, turn on your FUCKING LIGHTS. No cave dwelling for you, no sir, turn on that overhead— “aesthetic” lights don’t count, “small” lights only count if it’s bright enough in your area to make a noticeable difference (you can see clearly w/o help and you don’t have to apologize for it being so dark if someone walks in). I repeat, No Cave Dwelling, turn on the big light if you wanna have computer time. 5.) Have a face to face conversation with at least one person, make plans to go outside later in the week��� I’m out of the house with my family today, I (hopefully, if schedules line up) have DND tomorrow with my friends. Not to be that guy, I sound like my fucking Father, but Go Outside. Talk To People. You sound like a damn extraterrestrial trying to hold a conversation after 2 months indoors in your cat pajamas. Try tea tree soaps for your hair. Also... pretty sure the protein bulb is nothing to worry about. Soaking in greek yogurt etc will dissolve keratin if you're worried about it. Also... do you actually eat enough? Friend, I'm concerned for you and a lot of what you're writing you experience sounds a lot like malnourishment. *not medical advice... 💔 Are you able to see a dr?
I Don't hv teatree soaps but my mom has tea tree oil so yh i'll try to put. the protein bulb isnt inherently anything to worry abt but if like most of ur hairs tht fall out hv it it can be indicative of needing medical attention . n yh one of the possible causes is insufficient protein. i mean im probably malnourished but not in a bad way just lacking some vitamins n stuff so yh tht's really probably the cause eh once i get a job later this year I'll try to get a good multivitamin. i mean i cld probably see a doctor but i dont want to lol ignorance is bliss n the thought of ppl examining me n touching my body n stuff makes me anxious if smth's a real cause for concern i'll eventually have no choice anyways so I'll wait till then o7. but thanks for the advice n concern mwah <3

ok so the plan for tomorrow (technically later today bc it’s 1am but i don’t count it as “tomorrow” until after i’ve gone to sleep) is to get up, take care of my dog, go to michael’s for art supplies for my final project, stop at the vet’s office on the way back to get henry’s probiotic, work on the writing part of my project, clean my bong bc it’s SO GROSS while i’m taking breaks from the school stuff, and then once i feel like i’ve got a good amount of the academic bits done for the day i’m gonna smoke up bc it’s 4/20 and then maybe work on some of the art parts bc i can melt crayons and shit while i’m stoned. and my parents are gonna be out most of the day again so i can just vibe and eat as little as possible again, it’ll prob be less than today even bc i finished the last of the strawberries with yogurt today so now i can’t have more of that, if i can last until evening on nothing or almost nothing i’ll either eat smth small for dinner or skip it and just have a snack with my parents when they get home from visiting my mom’s cousin. i was at 200 calories exactly for the day but then we made popcorn when my dad got home and popcorn is seriously one of my greatest weaknesses and then to even out the numbers (thanks ocd) i had a little chocolate. but i’m still ok with my total for the day being 500 bc it would have been more if i’d actually eaten dinner. idk whether to be happy or worried that i’m like genuinely not hungry almost at all anymore, it makes it easier to eat less but it’s also probably objectively not a good thing health-wise, not that i really care about being healthy bc hello, ed, and also there’s so much about my stupid shitty body that also doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to it’s not like this is even remotely the biggest problem i have rn. i am getting worried about how often my chest hurts tho, like not an asthma chest tightness thing, and not a shooting heart attack sounding pain, just this ache-y almost stiff feeling, like if you hadn’t been able to bend a stiff joint for a long time and then once you could again it just feels Off, idk. probably not good, but i’m so close to the end of the semester and so close to my goals i’m not gonna do anything about it unless it turns into an emergency sort of situation

Uhhhh. Depends. Honestly tho mainly depends on A. The drink and B. What I will do with it (coffee mugs for sickness, Tumblers for taking a drink somewhere, etc)
